After getting the results of his written exam, Matt couldn't help but be both a little nervous and excited for the practical part because this was what it all came down to; if he passed this, then he would have his apparation license which would mean that he could legally travel without having to taking muggle transportation anymore. Before he preceded into the other side of the Great Hall, he took another deep breath to attempt to calm his nerves slightly; the last thing he wanted to do was not be able to focus and end up possibly splinching and losing an arm or something, no that wasn't going to happen. You know that you can do this, just get in there; listen to what the tester says and get through this with your license being the reward! For once his thoughts were right, he knew he could do this. As he stepped into the room, he noticed the hoops and remembered this seemed like Quidditch all over again. Odd. But he stood in the middle of the room. "Matthew Stevenson, here to take my practical exam." Of course the formality was needed, these people were Ministry workers and he didn't want to disrespect them.

Having passed her written exam perfectly, TJ was nervous more then she had been the first time she'd apparated. Stepping into the practical part area, she saw Matt in the room already. Well...at least she wouldn't be the first! Breathing deeply she tried to relax, she'd not even been this nervous when she took her muggle's driver's test her father had insisted on!

Standing back she waited her turn. Was she supposed to give her name? "TJ Michaels, erm...ready for my practical exam."

This was it, the final step that would determine if Marie was going to get her apparition license or not. Once she had been given the go ahead to proceed with the practical she quickly made her way over to the other side of the room. "Hello. Marie Salazar here, ready to apparate for you." Seeing there were a couple students ahead of her already she stood back waiting her turn.

This would be a piece of cake... just as long as she didn't splinch herself that is.

Cassie had gotten her results and was pretty pleased with herself too. Perfect score, booyah! She resisted the urge to do a little dance as she walked into the great hall. Hmm seemed she was one of the first few to arrive there, though she was hoping that a lot of them wouldn't be there when it was her turn for the practical. She smiled at the officials there and greeted them with a bright smile. Yeah she was in a good mood, everyone better deal with it.

Oh look Marie was there, seemed she passed her written test too. She offered a small wave to the blonde but wasn't sure if they were allowed to talk.

Alas, after taking the written exam and passing, Evelyn made her way to the area in which they would be taking the practical. Her nerves had calmed down considerably during the written portion, but seeing those hoops and realizing the fact that there will be witnesses to this exam made all those nerves start to create butterflies in her stomach once more. She would NOT be failing in front of all of these people.

If it did come down to that, then she silently dared them now to show any amusement, because she wouldn't have time to dare them later from all the dagger glaring and mental hexing. Standing nearby the group of students who apparently passed their exam as well, Evelyn waited for whatever instructions they were to be given from the Ministry peoples.

Vashti had breathed a sigh of relief when she had been told that she had passed the written test. That was good, and she felt just a tiny bit less nervous about the practical part coming up. The written part was the easy one though. Anyone, especially her, could study a textbook and recall it up for the few questions that were on the test. Actually Apparating was the difficult part. What if something went wrong? With her luck...

She took a deep breath as she entered the area where the practical was supposed to take place. There were quite a few other students already there, so apparently she'd have to wait. That was okay though. She needed the time to try and convince herself that she would succeed - or, at least, not Splinch herself.

Jai walked into the practical examination room and saw that others including Cassie and Marie were already there. He stood in the room waiting for the examiners to begin. He knew he could do it.He had been practicing and waiting and studying every corner of apparition. He needed to get his license to complete his readiness for Auror training when he graduated. It was imperative that he did well or else he would put out of the program.

Jai stood quietly as he waited.

The scary part wasn't this, exactly, the scary part was having to apparate in the same room as Evelyn. He only hoped that he didn't end up in her way or anything...because that would be disastrous indeed.

Either way, he stood close to the group of students that, like him, had also passed the written part of this, yes? Or so he assumed. And now he just had to wait for instructions and...try his best to successfully apparate. No big deal, right?

He aced his written exam! He hasnt aced a single exam in his entire life so Salander was pretty buzzed when he walked into Apparition practicals. He wanted that license so badly he could practically feel it in his hands. But yeah he needed to complete this second step, and the trickiest one in the whole process.

But yeah just remember the 3Ds and he should be fine right?

Salander stood next to Treyen and clasped his arms in front of his chest waiting for the instructions. He cant wait to get started that was clear.

Ellie had been beyond ecstatic when she found out she passed her written exam. And even more ecstatic that she had aced it. All she had to do now was practice the practical exam and she'd get her license. She'd be an official Apparator.

Clasping her hands behind her back, Ellie stood next to Vashti and gave her fellow sixth year Eagle a wary smile. She kept her distance from the Head Boy. He always seemed rather intimidating. Like he wanted to eat someone or something. Was she the only nervous one? Everyone else seemed fairly confident.

This was it. The practical bit of the Apparition test. This was her last chance to get that license. Flying on a broom was fun and all but Apparating would be a LOT quicker.

Kita walked into the Apparating room and blinked. There were so many people there! Merlin! Were there really this many seventh years? Oh right. Some were probably sixth years who were just old enough to take the test. She recognised the Ravenclaw Chaser and Louisa's other best friend. These sixth years were lucky!

Kita walked towards an empty spot and waited. This was a LOT scarier than anything else she had done so far. Apart from NEWT's. Those were pretty scary as well. And getting a good grade in the written paper didn't help either. How was she meant to keep that up?

Isabelle walked into the practical portion quietly. One word to describe her feelings. Scared.

The first part was fairly easy, but now she actually had to apparate. This was going to be hard. Isabelle had no idea if she would be able to do it or not in the testing enviornment. "Relax Isabelle," she whispered to herself. It would be fine. Right? She just had to remember the three D's and she would be all good. Destination, Determination, Deliberation. All would be fine, wouldn't it.

Now all she had to do was wait.

Katrina was as ready as she would ever be for this whole testing thing. If she had done it with the scary MLE workers, she could definitely test some Hogwarts students, right? Of course. So she took a relaxing sip of her coffee and looked at everyone who had walked in. Groups of three, groups of three, groups of three. She could totally do this. And they introduced themselves! How lovely. She put a smile on her face, repressed the urge to freak out and glanced at her clipboard, scribbling down the names of the first three people who had entered.

"Mister Stevenson, Miss Michaels and Miss Salazar, I'm Katrina Rayne and I'll be testing you for your practical portion of the examination," she said cheerfully, smiling at the three. She cleared her throat, a bit awkwardly. "Right, so, are the three of you ready?" Katrina asked.

Gulping as her name was called, TJ stepped forward, "Yes ma'am." she squeaked out. UGH!!! She'd hoped that she would be able to at least watch Matt... Well...here goes, she thought. Either she'd make it or she'd fail it, there was no inbetween.

Just as long as she wasn't splinched she figured she could handle failing the practical and trying again later.

Josh Carter simply rushed to the practical portion area for aparition. Eh. There were already people there and getting ready...perhaps? He had no idea what they were doing but he did not care much anyway. So, walking inside he stared at those he knew for a moment or so; like Marie, Evelyn, Cassie..., then found himself a suitable spot to just stand and wait. Silently. Yes, silently.

The when standing he realised that he was not feeling excited, at all. No idea if that was a good or bad thing. There was just that reason for him to not feel nervous or excited and he did not know what it was. So, he just stood there feeling nothing at all.

Huh?

That woman there...she was calling people...

''Umm...am i late?''

As he had figured out that they were going to be tested three at a time, Matt felt himself relax a bit; this wasn't going to be what he had thought.. it wasn't going to be all eyes on him with the possibility of splinching though he knew he was focused enough on this that it shouldn't have happened. "I'm ready." He nodded at the woman from the Ministry. Don't forget to clear your head of anything else but what she tells you, that way there won't be the issue of doing this wrong. No, he was going to pass because so many people had faith in him.

Oh Merlin.

Marie had thought she was going to get to watch some of the other students first but no, she was called up in the first group. Stepping forward she put a smile on her face and tried to hide any fear she may have been showing. "I'm ready." Well as ready as she could be that is. As long as she remembered the three D's she would be able to do this... without splinching.

Katrina looked at the boy who had just entered and gave him a kind smile. "You're not late, we're just getting started, please just wait your turn," she said before looking at the three she would be testing and took another drink of her coffee...



Why didn't any of them have coffee? Were they seriously able to stay awake in the morning without it? right, she probably shouldn't ask them that. And Ma'am? Was she... old? Katrina shook that thought from her mind, she wasn't much older than any of these students, that was for sure. They were about 17 and she was recently 22, therefore she wasn't old. It made sense to her.

"Alright, so you see the various hoops scattered around the room, your goal is to Apparate into each one of those," Katrina explained. Well, not really explained, it was an introduction really. "This first hoop," she said, gesturing at the hoop closest to them, "is about two feet away from where we're currently standing, one by one, you'll each Apparate into the hoop then step out of it. If you splinch or fail to Apparate into the hoop, you fail the examination, is that clear?" Katrina asked them. Without waiting for an answer, she continued. "If you want a demonstration, please let me know, if not, let's have Mister Stevenson go first," Katrina said, taking a step back and letting him know he could start if he wanted to, or get a demonstration.

Wait.. he had to go first? Oh boy. Matt nodded at Miss Rayne before taking a good look at the hoop. It was now or never. And failing wasn't option since he wanted to get this right the first time. First was the three Ds of apparation: Destination, Determination and Deliberation. Then he focused on nothing but the hoop, he thought hard about going right into the center of the hoop and not splinching before closing his eyes and disappearing with a slight popping sound. When he opened his eyes, he looked down at his feet and noticed that he was in the center of the hoop. The next question was if he had gotten there in one piece, so he looked at his hands, his legs and felt his face and hair. Hmm. All in one piece. Awesome. He stepped right back out of the hoop and took another deep breath. That wasn't so bad right? But there's still another two hoops to go through. Kinda like life, you get through one hoop but there's still another to jump through.

Seeing an overflow of students seem to exit the written area, Katherine decided she would step into the Practical testing area and help Katrina out. After all, together they would breeze through these tests, right? Of course right.

Walking over to check the list, she saw that Katrina had checked off the first three and was in the process of testing them now. "Would the Misses, Cassandra Storm, Evelyn Flores, and Vashti Greenwell, and the Mister Jai Pierce, please join me over here by this hoop."

Taking a blank parchment and her self-inking quill, she waited for them to join her before speaking quietly to those four. "You all should remember me, but again, I'm Ms Spades and I'll be testing you on the Practical Portion of your Apparition exam today. You ready?"

Katrina nodded as the boy popped into the hoop and took note on her clipboard with a little check. "Great," she said before gesturing to Miss Michaels to take a stab at it. "Miss Michaels, your turn," Katrina said, waiting for her to Apparate into the hoop... or not, because there was always a chance that the girl wouldn't make it into the hoop.

Evelyn was watching a Slytherin boy try the practical only to have her attention dragged elsewhere when she heard her own name being called out. Already? Wait, when did that lady come in? Making her way over to where the Ministry lady stood, glancing back only once to see if the boy made it in the hoop, the Slytherin girl took a deep breath and crossed her arms a little. Oh right, 'Ms. Spades'. Evelyn nodded her head, resisting the urge to look back over to see how everyone else was doing. Yup, she was as ready as she'll ever be.

Oh? Oh, was she being called now? Oh Merlin...

But this was good. Yeah. This meant she was closer to being done with this whole test, which was definitely good. So Vashti took a deep breath, tried not to stare at the other who had been called and were already Apparating, and walked over to the woman who had called her name. Ms. Spades. Yes, Vashti remembered her...

Was she ready? Erm... "Yes, ma'am, I'm ready," she replied with a nod. As ready as she'd ever be, anyway.

Cassie smiled at the woman when she called her name and inhaled deeply. Right, stay calm and collected. Wait..she called Evelyn into her group? Lovely, she wasn't at all intimidated by this...why? Whyyyyyy? It didn't matter though, she was confident she could do this.

"She walked over to the woman and looked at the other three in her group."Ready.."
