'I think we should.' Rose chuckled. 'Just do what I do!' Rose smiled. 'Any boy need a partner? Needing a partner myself!' Rose yelled.

"Alright," Faven said with a laugh. "A boy partner please? I promise not to bite!" Faven called out with a playful gleam in her eyes.

Ariella sighed. Why was it that mostly everything these days included partner work? She looked around at everyone in class. "Umm, does any guy need a partner?" she asked loudly. She pulled on her character shoes and tucked her blonde hair behind her ear.

Oh gossssssssssh. They were going to have to practice the waltz now? But but but Victoria was totally unprepared for this!

"Mr. Stryker, can we have a demonstration first? PLEASE?" Tori looked up at the man with a fearful expression, then looked around for a possible partner. UM. She didn't even like, KNOW anybody here yet!

Was that August over there? Maybe he could be her partner....

Woot! She had earned a point for her house! Kourt grinned and then raised her hand again. "I believe it can be played on many instruments as in a symphony, but as for use of one instrument, the violin would be one instrument that could be used to play the waltz; also, a piano."

Kourt glanced around, taking note that there weren't really any boys around here. Or not enough to divide between the girls. She supposed that the girls would just have to have a female partner. No biggie. It wasn't as though they were doing a saucy dance that required girl/boy partners.

"I guess we'll have to partner up?" She glanced towards Indy, a bit uncertain. "There don't seem to be enough boys here."

August needed to dance with a girl?! He had never dance with a girl other than his cousin and that was just.....awkward.

He looked around the clearing and saw a ton of girls everywere. Then he noticed a familiar one and, hoping that she could dance, he walked over to her. "Hey Princess, want to be my partner?" he said a bit shyly. He guessed that was how you asked a girl to dance.

Indiana looked up as Kourt spoke up. Partner up? Well that could work. She wasn't exactly sure if she wanted to dance with someone that she didn't actually know. So dancing with Kourt would be good. And at least she wouldn't look silly infront of anyone knew. Indiana smiled, stepping closer to her friend, and linking their arms. It'd be cute for them to dance together anyway right? "That sounds like fun..." She nodded with a big smile.

She was a bit uncertain though? They were allowed to pair up with girls right? Because she didn't think you really danced with a girl. "You know....I haven no idea how to ballroom dance."

Penny looked up when Aurora asked for a partner,.."Sure, i'll be your partner", Penny laughed..."Although does he want us to do girl/boy?"..

Aurora could dance...right?

"I don't think there are enough boys here..." she said, looking around. There was a distinct lack of one particular boy...

"Sure, let's be partners." she said, smiling at Penny. She was a little unnerved as to why she had just thought what she had but she shook herself from it.

Penny looked at Aurora for a second... had Aurora's eyes just glaze over...

"Ok spill.... whats the goss?..who is he?, she said giggling.

Sammy wasn't okay with this. She couldn't see ANYONE she knew, like, not even a girl let alone a guy. UGH, this is why she didn't do dancing, that and she has two left feet. Though admittedly she'd probably end up being paired up with a girl, which was a little disappointing. Spotting Isobel she decided that was her back up plan but first, TRY TO FIND ONE OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER. Standing up she dusted herself off and hoped she looked somewhat presentable.

*clears throat*

"Anyone wanna dance with me?"

the blonde said loudly, because she was too damn lazy to ask anyone to dance.

Jai looked at Caroline,"If you trust that I won't step on your toes, would you be my partner?" he asked, her with a charming smile and his hand held out to her.

He would help her dance and learn while having a good time with her. He silently hoped Rafe would take the opportunity to ask Kita to be his partner.

WHAT??!! She had one stray thought and now someone wanted to know about it?! Aurora Stewart-Quinn usually tried to make sure she had nothing to do with boys. "He..?" she raised an eyebrow at Penny. "Really? You think I have a 'he' to think about?" She chuckled, but the laugh was a tiny bit hollow.

Mina blinked and let out a tiny sigh. She should have seen it coming. Of course they would have to pair up and actually waltz. It only made sense and it was going to happen, so it was just best to get it over with.

Scanning the group, she tried to scope out who she could possible ask. There weren't all that many seventh years and the ones she knew were likely to pair off with their boy/girlfriends or she didn't want to pair with them at all. There was enough awkward in her life to add more to it now anyway.

So it was settled, she would have to pair with someone a few years below her. Now, she just had to find one.

...Wait, now he wanted them to pick partners?

Like, right now? This very second?

Looking straight over to where that dark haired girl was sitting next to HER boyfriend, not missing that Marilyn was sitting near him too now, Evelyn hastily got up and practically flew over to his side. No. Josh was taken. He was her partner. That was that.

She still STARED at anyone who looked at him.

Thomas had switched off completely. He was busy watching a spider weaving it's web at the side of the gazebo, his head tilted to the side and his tongue poking out the side of his mouth. It was kind of fascinating to watch the patterns it made with it's thin silk. Much more interesting than listening to the dance theory.

His attention was only drawn away from Spidey when he saw movement out of the corner of his eye. People were partnering up. He stood up and crossed his arms, frowning as he looked out at the sea of girls. If he was older, he would have loved this--being outnumbered and having his pick--but he was only thirteen and girls were sort of... intimidating. They made him awkward and anxious.

He spotted Gwen, that girl from the feast, and made a b-line for her. At least he actually KNEW her. And he'd found her easy to talk to that one time.

He cleared his throat when he got near her. “Er.. You.. youwannahdancewiffme?” He mumbled at her quickly and gracelessly.

Penny was sure something was up, but if Aurora didn't want to tell her, that was ok... Aurora was her friend and she would tell Penny when she was ready..

"Ok, so maybe you don't have a 'he' to think about..but you're thinking about someone", Penny decided to drop it...for now!

"So you can dance...right?"

Were there no boys at all? Okay, there were some. Isobel had seen, like, three. Maybe. That was not much at all. She looked around for Maybelle, but she would want to be with Jake, so she decided not to even ask her.

Isobel looked around as she walked over to Sammy. She would prefer to dance with a boy, even one who was not Damien, but it looked like there weren't any. "Hi Sammy," she said with a smile. "It doesn't look like there are any boys available here. Want to be partners?" 'Cause at least she knew her.

Daniel sighed....they had to dance? Really? Daniel should've seen it coming...it being a dance class. Daniel looked around for someone to dance with, preferably someone he knew, so that he wasn't embarrassed as much.

He spotted Mina....his cousin type-person. He didn't really know, Barry was more into family. But he vaugly remembered walking around hogsemede with her and some boy...walking up Daniel gave a little smile, "Do you mind, Mina?" he asked. She wasn't already with someone was she? That would be embarrassing.

At least Harvey didnt have to go looking for a partner as one was standing right next to him, he turned to Minerva "Want to dance my sweet?" he asked Minerva

"Honestly, there's nothing!" she smiled.

"Yes, I can most certainly dance. I've had a dance tutor back home since I was really little." she said, producing her wand. She wiggled it and a green and silver ribbon appeared. She secured her hair back with it and tied it in a bow. She was ready to dance. "D'you want to tie your hair back?" she asked Penny, conjuring a yellow and black ribbon.

Kennedy looked from side to side. This was awkward. He wasn't in a dancing mood, but if this meant him getting good marks then he'd do it. The problem with this was that he had no idea who to partner up with. Gah! He only knew like four people at Hogwarts and one of them already had a partner.

"Um, a-anyone need a partner," he asked, feeling his cheeks grow warm.

They had to be in partners?

But.. But.. Gwen hardly knew anyone and she definitely wasn't the type to just stroll up to someone and ask if they'd be her partner, in fact she was quite shy.

Her eyes glanced around at all the people as she sunk backwards avoiding eye contact. She'd just wait until they were all partnered up and then she'd go with whoever was left. Or until someone asked her for a dance which in her mind was completely unlikely.

Until the young hippy saw him coming towards her.

Turning bright pink as he awkwardly asked her if she'd dance with him, Gwen looked down at the floor and nodded. "Err... Y-yes" she stuttered looking up at him with a small albeit gentle and genuine smile. Someone had actually asked her!

But a silence fell upon them as she didn't know what to say next. "Thanks for asking me" she mumbled softly, allowing herself to smile out of the corner of her mouth.

Though he was still scary! Or intimidating rather.

And what size were his feet? She didn't want to be trampled on!

There it was, the practical portion of class, the part Eino was the most nervous about. Although, since he had anticipated it he didn't feel as nervous, and this was a dance class so it was only fitting that they practice the actual dances. Before standing up or even looking around for a partner, Eino sighed deeply to calm his nerves. Then, he looked up and around for someone who was willing to partner up with him for a waltz? He sure hoped that what they were dancing because it was very simple. On the other hand, it would be strange to hold someone else so closely, especially if he didn't know her. Was Ellie around? Maybe he could partner up with her before Treyen anyone else got to her first!

Rose saw a boy asking for a partner. 'Hey, can I partner with you?' Rose asked nervously.
