Cove walked up and took a seat on a pillow. The class sounded like fun. Like a muffle school class. She couldn't exactly dance, unless it was like party dancing, but she was good balance on her feet. She looked around for someone that she knew. No one. Maybe a friend would join her. |
Cloning! Rearranging slightly! And trouble eh? *looks shifty* Quote:
"Daisy?" she asked, looking at the girl half running towards her, "Daisy!" Squealing, she bent down slightly and threw her arms around the young girl. Merlin, it was great to see her again! Albeit, it was in a DANCE lesson but still. Wait... Did the girl just say chocolate? Her eyes grew wider slightly as she looked at Daisy pulling out a- Merlin, that was a big bar! A huge grin spread across her face. "We'll have a small picnic after class," she said, winking down at her. Note to self: try not to lose Daisy during class. Quote:

Definitely! From nudging to winking to simply being odd. No one in their right mind acted like that! Not even Kita... and that was saying something! Meh! Maybe it was nothing at all. Maybe she was just going mad. Kita sat down and found herself right next to the Rafe boy. Not that she minded of course... But still, there was something going on. Maybe something was pre-planned...? Shaking her head, she smiled at the Rafe boy, hoping he didn't mind that she was sitting next to him. |

'I'm in a dance lesson. Mad,' laughed Daisy, 'totally mad. But you never know, I might be good at it. Are you any good?' she asked a little nervously, not wanting to be the only one who had no idea what they were doing... Wait a second Kita had not pounced right onto the chocolate. Ok, she had noticed it, and sure enough, was pretty excited about it, but Kita was actually waiting to eat it. 'Are you feeling alright?' she asked Kita cheekily. 'Sure you don't want some now.' Daisy loved the look on her friends face at the mention of chocolate. It was just priceless. Kita and chocolate was like Daisy and ketchup, although Daisy doubted that she ate it with soup the way Daisy with. There were normal obsessions, and then just weird... |
SPOILER!!: Professor Bentley =) Orchid smiled at the Herbology teacher who was easily becoming her favorite teacher. "Good morning Professor Bentley." SPOILER!!: Lauren! :D Orchid smiled and waved back at Lauren. "Hey! You excited to start dancing?" SPOILER!!: Ze lovely Professor Bentley once again Orchid almost laughed as she saw the Professor 'dancing'. Oh well, to each their own. SPOILER!!: Nurse! "Good morning!" She said smiling as she the nurse walking into the Gazebo. |
Alfie, Ivy, Em, Ellie, Sarah, and ze Professors! Quote:
O__o Nonetheless, Theo threw a wave in their direction across the room to his fellow prefect and head of house. They had some plotting and planning to do ASAP. "Hello, Mr. Stryker," He called, giving a nod in his direction. Maybe giving him a greeting would decrease the chance that he would be forced to do an interpretive dance in front of everyone. Maybe. It was then, out of the corner of his eye, that he spotted two Slytherin blondies and a fellow eagle that he hadn't seen after the craziness that had been his time on the train to school. "Em, Sarah, Ellie!" He called to each, waving energetically. He felt like an excited kid who hadn't seen his friends for years. It felt like years, at least. |
Chad waved his hellos to each of the students and adults that greeted him. There was so many, he had lost track of who had shown up and who hadn't. What he did know was that Kimber wasn't here yet. Where the heck was she? "Everyone," he suddenly addressed the crowd, getting to his feet. "Let us start to settle down please. We are going to start soon, just a little to allow for last minute stranglers. So...hush." He meant it. SHHH. |

Jai turned to Professor Stryker when he spoke. Class about to start, so he went silent.'Let the fun begin.' he thought to himself. |

Exciting... She danced up and down on her toes nervously. Why on earth was she nervous anyway. It wasn't like anything would happed if she did suck. She didn't even know what type of dancing they were doing. Hopefully not Ballet. Pink and frilly just wasn't Daisys thing. Not at all. But then there were boys, so it would never be too pink and frilly. There were boys. Daisy might have to dance with a boy. A boy. She giggled nervously at the thought of dancing with a guy. Last year she would have been ok, and not at all nervous about her appearence, but for some reason she noticed herself self-conciously flattening her hair and pulling out a small mirror to check she looked ok. What had got into her? |

Jayden was starting to get excited, and antzy...she sat down in one of the bean bags, impatiently drumming her hands on her knee..."This is going to be epic!" She mumbled quietly to herself. |
Mackenzi wasn't the type of girl that got excited about lessons. They meant two things to her: homework and frustration. But when she heard some younger students talking about a dance lesson happening in the Gazebo, she instantly became thrilled. Dance had always been a major part of her life. She had been performing she was six years old. When age eleven rolled around however, she had been forced to quit. She couldn't attend a school thousands of miles away from home and be on time for dance four times a week. It was impossible, even for a witch. The blond fifteen year old joined the large group of students and professors. Though she had no idea exactly what type of dance they might be learning or talking about, Mackenzi hoped it was either lyrical or jazz. Those were her forte. Even thought she could only take lessons during the summer, she was still a fairly strong dancer, just not the best. Mackenzi found an empty beanbag and sunk into it, and began to play with a strand of hair, something she always did when impatient, as she waited for class to been. |
WHEREINTHEWORLDWASKIMBER? Emotional support, he needed it. Chad was totally crying inside. "Okay, I guess we will get started. Uhm...well, bonjour and welcome to the first dance lesson of the year. For those of who do not know me, I am Mr. Chad Stryker. I am the school groundskeeper," and not a dance teacher," and I am being forced to teach this dance class, no thanks to a certain third year Slytherin female who told Lord Borr in her assignment last term that I sucked at dancing." He was rambling. "Now, before we go any further, does anybody here have any dance experience? If so, what type of dance do you do?" He was totally going to exploit those students to teach the rest of the class because he knew NOTHING. |

Dancing? Maybelle loved to dance. She raised her hand, because she felt like being polite that particular day. "Um. Mr. Chad Stryker person, hello. Anyway, I have had experiance dancing. I danced at a private school in California." Because she had LIVED THERE. Be jealous. |
Ariella's hand shot up into the air. She was beyond excited to find out that they were actually going to be dancing! She took dance lessons three times a week at home. "Hello, Professor. I'm Ariella Adler - second year Gryffindor. I take dance lessons back at home. My favorite is jazz, but I also take tap, ballet, and lyrical." She smiled slightly, hoping she didn't sound too much like a know it all. She reached into her bag and grabbed her dance shoes. Luckily, Ariella had remembered to bring all three - jazz shoes, tap shoes, and her ballet slippers. |

Nora couldn't help but giggle, noticing that Mr Stryker knew French. Hehe. But then... what was he talking about? Lord Borr? Some last term's assignment? Maybe someone will enlighten her? ... probably not. Ooooh, dance experience? She raised her hand, even though she wasn't sure whether it was needed or not. "Does it count if I start dancing randomly whenever I hear music that I like?" She had to resist the urge of giggling some more. This class was going to be FUN! |
Aurora raised her hand "I've had a dance tutor since I was really little..." she said. Yep, one of those posh people things... "I do, um, ballroom dancing and stuff... You know, waltz and that..." |
Quote:
Her hand shot up promptly. "Yes, sir. My mother is a dancer and I've danced too. Mostly ballet and hip-hop; some jazz, tap..." She trailed off. "No formal training in ballroom, though I've dabbled a bit." |
Quote:
Mackenzi raised her hand along with a few other students when the professor asked if any of them had experience. She had more than experience. Dance was her life when she wasn't at school. "I've been dancing since I was about six. Unfortunately I haven't been able to dance as much since school started, but I'm very strong at lyrical, and fairly good at jazz and tap" She said. |
Theo and El Stryker-o! And Dallin. *shifty* :D Quote:

Did someone just say her name, or was she going crazy? 'Cause there were like seven other Ellie's at Hogwarts. Or... one. Maybe and Elle or something. Anyway. Ellie looked past her boyfriend and scanned the many faces in the gazebo, looking for whoever called her name. AHA! Ellie spotted an excited Theodore waving enthusiastically in her direction. Breaking out in a grin, Ellie waved back to the curly-headed boy. Noticing the shiny badge on his school robes, Ellie made a gesture towards it and gave him a thumbs up and a nod, mouthing the word "Nice!" Pretty impressive, especially considering the fact that he had only been at Hogwarts for a year. Just then the ever-so-unenthusiastic Mr. Stryker began talking about how unexcited he was about this dance class... Excellent. Wait, he was asking if anyone knew anything about dancing? Without even thinking about it, Ellie nudged Dallin in the side and raised her hand. "Dallin does!" She volunteered for him before realizing that just maaaaybe he wouldn't want to teach his dancing skills. Welp. Too late now. |
SPOILER!!: Anakin & Mr. Stryker Vashti smiled when Anakin turned to face her and nodded in response to his question. "Yeah." She was here. She didn't really want to be, but hopefully she would endure it and it would benefit her afterward. Then it would be worth wasting her time here. And hopefully these wouldn't become a permanent thing, so dealing with them only temporarily wouldn't be too bad. Before she could say more to Anakin though, it seemed they were starting. Sort of. Mr. Stryker seemed just as uncomfortable with all this as she was -which made this a little better since it meant she wasn't the only one who didn't like this stuff - and he asked whether anyone had any dance experience. If this were any other lesson, Vashti's hand might've shot up to answer, but now was the exception. She had no dance experience so she had no answer. Instead she kept quiet and listened as some other students answered. |
This was a very uncomfortable class. Eino was only here because, well, it was a class, but he had no intention to take a dance OWL or a dance NEWT, if such thing exist, which he doubted it did. However, Lord Borr was behind this so maybe he would make it a requirement for students to take dance OWLs and NEWTs next. Who knows. Eino was in a corner, comfortably hidden by a large number of students. He didn't expect this class to be so full, in fact he had expect the opposite, but this was better. Much better. Now all he had to do was... Well, he didn't really know. He just hoped there was no practical portion to this class, although that seemed unlikely. Questions? Questions were good, he could answer questions and not embarrass himself entirely. He raised his hand. "I do not possess any special dancing skills, but I must admit I am quite good at doing the hippogriff, the horntail sway," which consisted of shaking his booty, but he wasn't very good at it, he just thought he was, "and the sneakoscope," in which he just spun around in circles, with his arms extended, his head tilted back, and making weird noises. Some people did the sneakoscope with the banshee shriek, but Eino didn't want to look silly. That was it for his dancing resume. |
Indiana had no dancing experiance. What. So. Ever. Maybe that was a bad thing. She didn't want t look silly infront of everyone. That would be really bad. She bit on her lip, as various students spoke up. They all seemed to be able to dance. This was badd. She frowned, feeling a little out of place. But surely this was good right? They were dancing lessons afterall. No point coming down if she could already dance. So she stopped frowning and smiled. she was sure the teachers wouldn't let people make fun of her for not being able to dance. They were good at that. But umm...she couldn't really contribute right now, not having proper dance experiance, so she sat with a smile on her face. |
