HEH. Funny thought. An followed Fee when she led them out to find a good, less crowded spot, for the two to dance. He'd glance away on a few occasions looking for a spot as well, and keeping his eyes basically off other couples. It was too easy for him to eavesdrop, and he didn't wanna accidently pick up on something private. Looking back over at Fee, Anakin mimicked her chuckle. "I guess so, the best of the best." Or in some cases, the obnoxious of the obnoxious. "People only wish they had the power we did at this here school." It was funny HIM saying it, as Anakin still felt like a noob. Even if this was already his third year at Hogwarts. "Emma? You forget Feefers, I'm not nearly as well known as you." So he really had no idea who Em was. :O Failll. Feeling a prod to the side, his mouth dropped open and he turned to look at her fully. Nearly pouting. "This doesn't have anything to do with confidenceeeee. I'm genuinely warning you." Last time he'd danced with a girl? Didn't go down so well. He tried to make a habit of just...NOT. That's why he was HERE. To learn to do better. "Not being so humble either. You'll know that tomorrow when your foot is throbbing. Just saying." He'd tried to warn herrrrrr. Stopping in the spot Fee had found, Anakin turned and offered her one hand, letting the other go to her waist. This was the right position right? Waltz? "Er...were you paying attention to what dance we're supposed to be practicing?" 'Cause honestly, he wasn't. |

Always modest Gideon smirked at her. She looked up at him and rolled her eyes playfully, "I would wipe that smirk off of your face, Gert, but my hands are otherwise occupied at the moment." Then she tore her blue eyes away from his face and then said looking down at the ground, "Yeah I guess we make a pretty good team, huh?" |

"No," he shook his head. "But, I've seen some in movies." Yep, everything he knew or thinks he knows is base on films. "Are they fun?" he asked, curiously. |

The second time around he didn't disappoint, either. It was more fluid and graceful. It actually caused Marilyn to stop short. This was still a bad, BAD idea, you silly blonde. Coughing, she moved a hand up to rub the back of her neck. "Much, MUCH better, Lycaon. We'll make a dancer out of you yet..." |

Harlow kept them waltzing around the room slowly so that Kennedy could get the hang of it. And not fall flat on his bottom or anything. "I think they are fun. But they can be really stuffy. Like if you go to a debutante ball you have to wear a certain color and if you are being introduced to society you have to have a date," she pulled a repulsed face at the thought of going to a ball with a boy. "I can get you a invite to the Legend's Ball in New York for Christmas. I'm going." she offered. |

Nodding happily the fourth year beamed at the hufflepuff."Of course the best of the best",she said,"i mean look at us.No one could ever compare."Ohhh that sounded sooo vain but god knew she was just kidding. It was fun to play the royal family and after it had developed soooo great this summer there was noo way not to mention it.Giggle."Yeees we will be legends when we leave",the girl beamed,"they will teach about us in history.Everyone here should be grateful to be at Hogwarts when we are."And this only proved how bad they were together again. But then again it was the people's fault that listened to their conversation if they thought the wrong things. Why were all the people always telling her she was popular? That soo wasnt true, she didnt know EVERYONE."Oh come one i am sure you know just as many people as i do",the girl smiled and nodded,"her name is Emma Malfoy and she is a fifth year Slytherin and she played Quidditch the last three terms."Fee hadnt seen her for a long time ,where was that girl?! Raising her eyebrows the blonde just shook her head once again."Noooo excuses, mister",she stuck her tongue out.He might have never danced before or not for long, but so waht? That was what this lesson was for and he surely wouldnt destroy her shoes or something. That was just Anakin overreacting.Hehe."Pffsssh my feet wont be throbbing",Fee said,"calm down and relax. Its gonna be fine,i am sure you are a great dancer."Ohhh right, what dance where they supposed to do?!The girl had been so caught up in watching Hugo and then talking to her best friend, she hadnt heard anything."Lets just waltz until he announces something",she chuckled,"i am very bad at paying attention i just noticed." |

"A debu-what?" Balls had names...wait, there were different kinds of balls? Eh, something new he learned. He couldn't help, but chuckle at the face she made. "What's wrong with having a date?" Kennedy pondered on her offer. Hm, going to a ball would be pretty epic...well the most epic thing he'd ever get to participate in. "Who are the Legend's?" he asked. He felt his feet begin to move with more ease, so he lifted his gaze to Harlow's. This waltz thing wasn't so bad. |

Eris stepped back from dancing to wave at the girl quite childishly. "'ello!" Then again, this would put their group at four, which would mean it would be best to split into two pairs. Besides, Eris could pass for a boy any day. "So then why don't you lead Miss. Witsy to the dance floor and I get a turn with Miss. Janice....Madmoselle?" the young witch turned to face Janice with a grin, extending her hand lightly. |
SPOILER!!: Evelyn and Destiny Well...okay. If Evelyn did let her to do so, it meant Destiny was going to join them. Okay. Okay. Okay. That was not a bad thing. Not at all, right? Even though he knew the she-snake despised his touch, as he got the impression from the day Lafay punished them together, she was still her friend and Evelyn's best friend. She was a million times better than a random girl that might have decided to join them after all. So giving her a little and quick smile with a nod to show the girl that he had accepted the fact that now she was a part of their...group. A moment ago they had been a couple but now they were a group of three so yea a group. His arms still wrapped around Evelyn's waist, the Gryffindor boy patiently waited as the she-snakes decided who was going to try the dance with him first and within the progress it did not escape the boy's eyes that Destiny's mood had changed a bit. Or was he mistaken. A moment ago she seemed to be happy to be joining then...she was like...that...something Josh could not describe now. But at least he could tell she was not dying to dance with him at first place... ...which was fine with him. However he was not sure if he thought the same way about her spinning...there. Crazy girl. Smirking at the sight a bit, Josh turned back to his girlfriend looking into her eyes. Then it meant they were going to dance together while Destiny...made weird moves there by herself. At least just for now. He was glad that he knew Evelyn would never go there and decide to do those weird moves herself anyway. Or...on the other hand she would still look perfectly beautiful if she did. She was VERY BEAUTIFUL. Unable to fight the urge, he leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on her lips and it lasted a moment or so before he whispered ''Shall we begin?'' What was the instructions again? |

'Well then I have shall have to avoid yer hands when they are free?" he commented relaxing his facial expression until it was simply an amused smile. He did after all remember the tales of what happened to those who crossed her even in jest "I guess we do." |

And all of a sudden, he had already moved her arms to where they should be. And then he put his hand on her BACK. This just made the blonde feel more awkward. She bit her lip, to stop herself from blushing. Then after the feeling of blushing had disappeared, she gave him an excited smile. "Yeah.. Heh. That does seem right. Nervous?" she added. If he tried anything else, then Mr. Nikolas was a dead man. Uh-huh. Yep. "So.... you lead?" said Emma and then something else came into her mind! What if he pushed her into a wall or a pole or a rock and she broke her back? Or neck? Merlin........ "Oh and you better not walk me into any poles or something when were dancing," she warned, screwing up her nose a little bit, before relaxing and taking a deep breath in. |
Sooo late. My apologies :) Quote:

"Don't get me wrong," she added with an amused lift of her lips. "I've danced the waltz before but it was just a ...sort of follow the crowd sort of action. Not specific like I think we're about to be taught." |

"Okay, so, we shall move forwards. Your backwards," he clarified, just so that they didn't walk into each other on the first step. "So...I will step forward with my right..." And that was what he did. |

Before he could ask Stella where she had learned the Waltz, he was whisked back to his positon by Tori. They were starting now. "Oh yeah," the Gryffindor glanced up at the Groundskeeper and Herbology Professor dancing at the front. "I guess so." Auggie straightened his stance and then spoke to Princess. "Alright, I am going to go forward first and then you will take a step back." He took his foot forward hoping he didn't stomp her feet, he hadn't checked to see what type of shoes she was wearing. |

He nodded. A bit of a dance background was indeed helpful, 'cause at least they had some knowledge beforehand. Paulie had, like, zero. "Well, we can only improve, right?" The boy glanced over at Monsieur Stryker again as he gave them one more instruction. Basically, he led and the girl mirrored whatever he did, only with the opposite leg. "Sheesh, you get the easy part!" He grinned, then looked down at their feet momentarily before starting. "Okay, I think I'll just make a square for now, since that seems pretty basic." And - here goes! - he stepped forward, then to the right, then backwards, to the left, and back forward again. His motions were a little shaky, but hey - it was their first time! |

She felt her feet slip up slightly when Gideon plastered an amused smile on his face. It was only a momentary laps and she looked up at Gideon, he really liked to push her limits didn't he? Fine, if he wanted to play the smirk game challenge accepted. She threw a smirk right back at him and retorted, "Yeah, maybe that would be wise. You never know when I might strike..." When he agreed with her comment about them making a good pair she, without even thinking about it or relaxing she did it, moved a little closer to him. "Well you know, I was going to dance with Kurumi, but I guess your a good second choice." This joke was lighter than any she had previously thrown out a him. In fact her tone was so soft it was as if she whispered it. |

She had on her usual Converse All Stars, for the record, so at least her toes were slightly protected. |

This wouldn't be too hard if she could just follow. Auggie peered around the rest of the other groups and some had begun and others were just standing around, obviously too nervous to start. |

She didn't wanna trip! |
Text Cut: India & João Borrow my partner? Louisa didn't know how to properly respond to this. 'I didn't have a choice' was a very good one but João was around so.. no need to be fussy. Instead the girl just nodded, fake smile still on. ... ... Were they too close to each other? Louisa thought they were, anyway. She averted her gaze from them to spot the undesirable couple - make that second undesirable couple. They were happily dancing - well, starting to. Smiles, laughs and beaming faces. She was really growing unsettled by this. Too much for an entertaining class. |

With deep concentration, Seren smiled, "Right, this shouldn't be all that difficult. And if you can teach me to dance then you're a miracle worker." Backwards... Chad's right foot?.... meant her left foot. Yes, that sounded right. A little nervously Seren took a step backward as instructed. That wasn't so bad after all. |
