Please excuse his awkwardness / And Kristin too! <3 Quote:
August wasn't the dancing type. "Have you had any formal dancing lessons? Or hip hop?" he teased. Quote:
He grabbed Tori's hand, without thinking, and then shot both of their's into the air. "We're ready sir!" he said cheerfully, and then realized he was holding Princess's hand. He dropped it quickly and then shoved both of his hands deep into his pockets. Whoops. Quote:

The Gryffindor had noticed that there really were not enough boys in attendance for the lesson He leaned over to the older girl and smiled. "Hey there, you wanna join us? I'm August Goldstein, and this is--" he just gestured at Princess/Tori because he wasn't sure how she wanted to be addressed. |
Thea was left at the edge of the Gazebo. Frowning a little, she twirled a strand of her hair in her fingers. She could dance. If she was honest, she could dance well.. but obviously not brave enough to go and ask someone to be her partner. Proud may also be the word.. she was used to being asked not asking! Merh. Tapping her foot, she began to chew her lip as her grey eyes swept around to spot a familiar face. Somebody may ask her.. eventually. |
NO way no way was she dancing NEVER ever! besides she wasn't so stupid to walk up to somone and ask she could tap to the music anyway it would be just plain creepy dancing it wasn't a talent of hers! She half smiled as she watched the others dance she sighed |

Ellie raised an eyebrow at him. He could probably handle it? "Well, someone is rather sure of himself." She said, accusingly with a sarcastic smirk. And again, Dallin was in for a surprise. He had no idea. |

His voice penetrating her thoughts, Ivory blinked up at him long lashes casting shadows on her cheeks. Absentmindedly tucking a strand of honey brown hair behind her ear, Ivory resisted the urge to blush at the boy's comment. With a shy smile, she stood up and nodded. "I would like that, thanks. I'm sorry I don't think I know your name. I'm horrible with them." she admitted with a soft sigh, vague amusement in her delicate features. |

O.o This is definetly not good. Orchid thought with fear. I so do not want to be last picked for partners. There were tons of cute guys around the school but she doubted that any of them would pick her to dance with, that is if they didn't already have girlfriends of course. Lauren!! Thank god! I have a savior! YES! "Of course I'll be your partner, Lauren." She replied calmly and happily, while inside she was jumping for joy at not having to dance by herself, she had done that enough in her lifetime. Quote:

That would be good. Tori was suddenly distracted by her hand being flung in the air and then let go of. She frowned over at August; what, he didn't wanna hold her hand? Did he even WANT to be partners? Because there he was, asking yet another girl to dance with them. Victoria Bunbury did not share. She wrinkled her nose at the Ravenclaw but offered her name anyway. "Princess Victoria M. Bunbury, or Princess Tori for short." |

Kennedy slightly chuckled. "So, I've been told." Sometimes being tall was good...like he could reach things that were stored up high. Yeah, tall was great. |
*intrudes* Evelyn & Josh! Destiny had gotten herself distracted. She was trying to pay attention to all the different types of dances everyone was mentioning, but none of them held her interest. She didn't know any of them! Where was the pencil dance? How about back the bus up? How about the WORM!? They were all GOOD dances, and dances she herself had perfected. Hmph. Her attention wandered after that, wondering what she was doing there, and wondering who those other old people were that arrived at the gazebo. She tried her best to ignore and forget the fact that she greeted the Healer, after all, she was not fond of them types of people. And if she forgot she greeted her, in Destiny's eyes, it never happened. Yeah. But back to the other old people. The one looked somewhat familiar for some odd reason, and the guy.. Professor Magnus! The woman was back! How did she manage to miss her at the opening feast? Probably because she was too busy Pushing herself up to her feet, she glanced around, and noticing Evelyn and Josh |
louise looking at the group, she did not have a partner "anyone want to dance with me, but i have never danced before, she looked around |
SPOILER!!: Vashitiiiii Wait.... Huh? She had actually agreed to dance with him? Were his ears deceiving him? He almost said that to her too just to get on her nerves, but instead, he didn't say anything. All he did was let a slow smirk form on his face and it stayed there. Will shoved his hands in his pockets, leaning forward. "What about that bloke? He is your boyfriend, isn't he?" he asked her teasingly, motioning his head over in the kid's direction. He deserved to have a little fun, didn't he? Right. He did. "Oh and by the way, if you step on my feet, I step on yours," he added in his threatening way. Like he cared if she was a girl. His shoes were worth more than her, and probably some other girl, combined. It was only fair that she got her feet stepped on too. Now, when was the dancing going to begin? |
Quote:
He laughed loudly, but before he could answer, Kimalia had raised both their hands into the air and the Professor asked whether they all had a partner yet. Let the dance begin! |

lol Apparently Auggie has bad memory. ;) *pets Tori* Text Cut: Auggie and the Princess Still contemplating an escape to the knot of staff members nearby, and figuring she could just make an excuse to Matt later if he noticed she'd disappeared if they ever switched partners or anything, Stella had actually started to edge her way around to the entrance to the gazebo when she suddenly had a person in her way. A person she semi-remembered from the train ride here, even though she'd talked more to Paulie, and she stopped her edging as August spoke. "It's either that or trying to escape without Monsieur Stryker noticing," she said with a smile, as he actually introduced himself again. "I remember. You stepped into my compartment on the train? With your turtle?" Of course, his red-headed partner didn't particularly look like she wanted to add a third to the group, and turning her attention to her, she trid to n ot look like she was deciding if the fact the girl was a Slytherin had anything to do with that. Probably not, although she couldn't say she knew the House that well only knowing one other Slytherin. The introduction told her more. "Stella Gardiner. It's nice to meet you Princess Tori," she said with another smile, wondering to herself what Tori was princess of. It almost had to be metaphorical, since she was pretty sure the redhead wasn't part of the royal family. "And I can always just take the second dance. However Monsieur Stryker does it." There, not sharing, not really. And she couldn't explain why she'd gone back to adopting a bit of Frenchness again. It had just sort of happened. |

SPOILER!!: Evelyn & Destiny Of course, him! Of course her partner was going to be him otherwise ...until Destiny's voice came to his ears greeting and, that moment made him lift his head immediately and look at her, asked to join them. What was that smirk on her face? Well...he was not sure of its source but it definitely made the boy think that perhaps Destiny Shepard was not as naive and innocent as she had seemed to be so far. ''Ummm...'' Josh looked at her and blinked, then looked at Evelyn, then back at Destiny and back at Evelyn. He did not know what to say or if he could say anything without knowing Evelyn's idea about it. So, he only looked at his girlfriend...waiting for her decision instead. She was the one in charge. |
India had been quiet - very quiet too quiet even. She was still sitting on her bean bag and right now she would rather dance with an invisible thing than a person...she didn't know enough people to dance with anyone. "Uh - Prof-professor" she stammered in nerves, her words squeaking slightly. "I'm sorry...I just I actually don't have a partner because...well to be honest I'm to shy - I don't know anyone really." Gulp. Honesty was too much sometimes. |

Sorry for making you wait 22 hours! Quote:
Daniel gave a little smile "...yeah, we have to talk more..." he said out of politeness, not that he didn't like Mina, she was the least annoying cousin he had, but he didn't mind too much if they didn't talk. He had other friends...who were absent now.. "Should we start?" Daniel asked raising his arms, he probably looked very stupid. |

Oh, but now he was smirking. This couldn't be- eh? ...Did he really just ask if Anakin was her boyfriend? "No," she answered him simply. Not yet anyway. ... Where THAT thought came from, she wasn't sure. And, what, was he a Legilimens now? Will already seemed to think she would purposely step on his feet. Which was more or less true, of course, but a few would probably be accidents too since she really was terrible at dancing. "Fair enough," she replied with a simple shrug. She was willing to bet her |
Text Cut: Ellie ^^ Yes, it seemed like forever and ever ago. Probably why he couldn't remember much of it. Or none of it, truth be told. But he at least remembered that she was the one who'd taught him to dance, right? That was good. Treyen nodded in agreement but said nothing else as he considered that IF it seemed like such a long time...THEN he had little time left at Hogwarts. Aha! She almost made him sigh. Disagreeing, no matter how used he got to it, was still a bit annoying. And she always did it. Except...now...it was completely different and it even brought a smile to his face. Taken? "I like the sound of that, as long as I'm taken by you," or whatever, he couldn't think straight, and he'd failed to notice just how close he was to her, and it was even worse to have her eyes on him. If no Professors have been there, she would've gotten a kiss...that's what his eyes dictated after looking at her lips for a second. MR. STRYKER! DISTRACT HIM! RIGHT! Mr. Stryker was, like, right there. All of the sudden he was reminded that he was not alone in this...what was this? A Gazebo? What did that even mean? Whatever, Treyen actually chuckled and shook his head, as if trying to get rid of whatever thought occupied his mind at the moment. Much to his dislike, he only kept the hold on one of Ellie's hand and looked away from her. She needed to stop distracting him from the soon-to-be dancing lesson, right? Yet it was more of 'just dancing' for these two. He'd been blushing since he spoke, by the way, he just didn't realize it. |
