Rose smiled. 'Part of my charm!' she pouted. 'I dunno...' Rose shrugged. 'I randomly asked him if I could be his partner. I need one too you know, the boys aren't all flocking me!' Rose chuckled.

Faven looked awkwardly at the boy standing before her as Rose did the introductions. "Hi there Justin!" she said to him sweetly, no use scaring him off before he even got to see her horrific dancing.....0_0

" Hi, I think we met at the common room or something. I'm Justin. Would you care to dance, Faven? " Asked Justin as he smoothed the back of his hair.

Turning to Rose, " Oh, don't worry I'll dance the next one with ya. " Said Justin with a wink.

Alice took a deep breath, and walked up to a boy, who didn't looked like he had a partner. "Hello", she said nervously, "Do you have a partner?"

She smiled back, everything that had irritated her by him was at the very back of her mind. "Sure." She gave him her hand and... didn't know what to do next. Veeery carefully she tilted her head where the undesirable couple were and spotted them only to snap her head back toward him. She was not going to take sneak peaks at them. She was to attend this class with a very good and exciting mood.

Anyone still need a partner???
 

Mackenzi listened as student after student added a piece of information they knew about the waltz to a growing list. Ballroom dancing was not her thing. Then again she had never really tried it. The only partner dancing she had ever done was slow dancing, and the last time she did that, she was nine years old and standing on her dad's feet.

The blond tried to relax in her bean bag, waiting for the next question to pop up. However she immediately stiffened when the groundskeeper told them to pair up.

Pair up?! WITH WHO?!

Mackenzi slowly stood up and looked around, biting her lip. She didn't know anyone here. Who was she supposed to dance with? Maybe if she just stood here some boy would come and ask. Or maybe she could try and sneak out the class without any of the professors noticing...yeah she liked that idea.

Oh great. Neither one of them knew how to dance. Tori smiled weakly back at Auggie and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. Well. He seemed confident.

"What kind of dancing lessons?" She continued her interrogation. Princesses couldn't afford to break a toe or two whilst dancing! "Ballroom? Latin? Waltzing? Hip-hop?"

Could she really see August doing hip-hop? HEH.

Kimalia was fairly comfy in her beanbag when the magic request came that they needed to pair up. Guess we're going to learn the waltz? Since he mentioned it. So she looked around the room for anyone familiar to her to dance with. This should be fun.

The blonde Malfoy was trying to be invisible. The blonde had spent the whole lesson nodding at what Professor Stryker said. Yep, Yep. Ugh. Her ears pricked up as she heard 'waltz'. She could waltz. That was the only thing she could probably do with dancing. She knew all the ballroom dances but not anything else.

She hadn't seen Braeden at the dance lesson and she was kind of hoping that he had turned up so that they could dance together, but luckily, Theo, Alfie, Dallin, and Ellie were there. And Caroline. But they all had partners. So Emma waited patiently and watched as the others dance. Maybe Hopefully someone would ask the Slytherin to dance. She didn't bite. Heh.

Wait!!!

Somebody was talking...was he caught attempting to sneak to the other side of the Gazebo area? Oooooh. No. Apparently not since that voice told the class the get paired, not another 'Detention, Carter.' That was neat. But also it meant now everyone in the class was going to seek a partner for the performing part and there seemed to be MILLIONS of girls compared to A FEW dudes.

Eeeeeeeeeeh...maybe he should have brought that heels to this class too. What? No no no. Scratch that idea. Maybe he could just hide from the girls' sight. Maybe?

Or...

A big smile appeared on his face when he found Evelyn beside him. ''My partner?'' he said before tacklinghugging her. She saved the day again.

"Oh don't say that! You are really pretty Rose! And older than me, which makes you so cool!" Faven said admiringly. In her 11 year old mind, the connection between age and coolness made total sense.

"Oh, that does sound familiar.....Hi there, my name is Faven!" she said with a smile. "Oh, has the instructor told us to dance already?" Faven looked about herself haphazardly. She was truly a terrible dancer and didn't want Justin to see her like that quite yet.

Minnie looked up at Harvey and smiled. "Of course I do." She leaned into Harvey's ear. "Don't worry the Waltz is easy once you get the hang of it!"

Harvey looked at Minnie and smiled "Well you seem to know more about it than I do, so I have a good teacher in you. I am sure you will teach me." Harvey could not wait to have his first dance with Minnie even if it was her teaching him.

" Well, then let's go. Uum, just so that you know, your feet are in grave danger. I don't know how to dance much. " Said Justin as he sensed that she was just as nervous as she was.

Max was tugging mindlessly on the hem of his sleeve, planning out what he would do if two girls approached him at once and both wanted him to be their partner. He would have to decide between the two of them and HE would look like the bad guy. And then he wondered... what would happen if no courageous girls approached him? Stryker could be disappointed in him and dock points for not participating and generally being a party pooper. That was unacceptable.

Fortunately, his thought process was shaken when a girl moved toward him. Max looked up and forced a smile. He recognized her from the common room. A lovely Ravenclaw. "No, I don't," he replied slowly, bringing himself to his feet and unfolding his arms. "I... must warn you, I've never danced before in my life." His eyes glistened in amusement. "That being said, would you like to pair up?"

There. That wasn't too hard, and at least he was honest.

WHERE DEM GIRLS AT, GIRLS AT?!

Partners?

Blink. Paulie had mixed feelings about this. Firstly, this was AWESOME because that meant he had an exuse to cozy up with a girly. Though.. secondly, this also meant that his awkward gawkiness would, no doubt, be exposed. Ballroom, right? Yeah, that involved grace and poise and fanciness and Paulie had none of that stuff!

Despite being nervous, the fifth year put on a smile and looked around at all the girls. So many girls in here, where do I begin? Naw, he was lucky if he'd get any of 'em to dance with him. He smirked as he saw Princess Tori already had a partner - probably one of the guys in the competition! He moved his eyes again and they landed on a Slytherin student who looked like she might be in need of a partner.

"Hi," he greeted after walking over to her. He tugged in his tie a little. "Uh, I'm Paulie, and I was wondering.. I mean, if you don't have a partner already, if you maybe wanted to be my partner?"

Looking past his shoulder at everyone who was choosing partners, making it KNOWN through her STARE that Mr. Joshua Carter was off limits, her eyes brightened and frown turned upside down when he asked his question.

MEEP!

And then the hug. She had to smile at the hug, no matter how much she had to try and keep herself from falling over. "Of course, you..." she giggled quietly. Giggling apparently was a habit around Josh. JUST HER THOUGH. The other girls could laugh normally around him.

Alice gave a tiny sigh of relief. "Sure", said quietly,"I'm not very good
with dancing myself. You don't mind that, do you?" She blushed a tiny bit, while saying that.

Mitch, too, looked around at the order to pair up. His eyes fell on Kimalia. He smiled and walked over to her. He held out his hand. "Would you like to be my dancing-partner, Kimalia?" He blushed a bit. He had never really had dancing lessons before.

"Oh...okay" Faven said nervously. "But has the instructor said that we can start? I think we are just supposed to be getting partners now," She mumbled quietly, embarassed and not wanting to hurt his feelings. "Oh, this should be fun, Faven laughed. "My aunt tried to give me lessons but quit because I was so awful, the two of us together will be quite a disaster I can tell!"

Eris got up looking around the room, so many people had leaped up to get with partners already, yet the little boy-girl didn't exactly come to this class with a dancing partner in mind.

In fact, she was positive a guy wouldn't come up to be her partner for the fact that she looked like a ten year old wizard in her sweat pants.

Running a hand through her short black hair she tilted her head, "Erm....anyone else still need a partner?" She asked, her head turning right to left to see if there were any takers.

" Well, then we'll just wait here for further instruction I suppose." Justin said,
" We'll cause a sensation. Maybe we can invent our own type of waltz." Justin said as he began laughing. ' God, I sound like a moron. ' he thought to himself hoping Faven didn't think the same.

Kimalia could begin to feel the abundant amount of boys in the class, some of the girls had to pair with the same gender because of this. She was just about to ask of the other girls to partner with until-

Kimalia smiled kindly at him, the breakfast boy who she had nice conversations with. He was such a gentleman. "Why of course, Mitch." She happily accepted his hand and followed him onto the dance floor while laughing softly. "I have to warn you, sometimes I forget my footing."

His smile became even broader when she accepted. Happily, they went onto the dancefloor. Hehe chuckled again when she warned him - "You know what? I was thinking of saying the same about myself, but I thought you wouldn't want to dance with me if I did...So now you know. I'm clumsy."

Daichi too looked around while seated. He was a bit anxious when it came to girls and now he even had to dance with one of them. Couldn't he dance with himself? Like pretending to hold a invisible person? That could work for him even if he did look like an idiot. But noooo they HAD to have a partner.

The little second year Slytherin pouted his lips as he looked around. Should he ask someone? But he didn't want to...."A-Anyone want to partner...with me?" He blushed slightly as he pointed at himself. This was going to be embarrassing....
