Loud, blaring music can be heard coming from the open Transfiguration classroom. It's beckoning you to enter....?
Shaw, dressed in a long alligator skin cloak, has seated himself in a desk at the back of the room. The desk is turned so that he can see everyone that enters and no one will ever be at his back. He's removed his hat and his head shines a little from the incoming sunlight. The rest of the room is typical: desks in rows, chalkboard, books, dust.
No directions are given, no friendly smiles. Enter if you're up for learning a little something something from Shaw. But I wouldn't interrupt until the song was over if I were you... | |

Simon just sat there, this lesson was confusing he hoped that the Professor wouldn't mind him just being sat there. "Professor I don't get what your asking us to do." Simon said truthfully, maybe he should try and find a partner but he didn't want to just go ask anyone and was scared incase they told him to go away.

Her head hurt. Whatever.
Now, partnering time! "Who's a Slytherin?" 'cause she needed a partner. Peyton didn't want to go around checking everyone's robes to see of they were snakes.
Savannah needs to find a Slytherin...or green people...is what the professor calls everyone. Gee...where did he went to school at? Not here, that's for sure.
She turned around a saw a Slytherin girl looking for a partner too. Maybe her??
*Poke* *Poke* "Want to be my partner??" Savannah asked hopefully. "I'm a green person too." She added with a chuckle. Sometimes these days, Savannah thought she really needs to get a life. Life...meaning...something worthy...things like that.

We Should try and have him make a purple dog. he told the girls There's no Latin for poodle so I thought it would make more sense just to make a dog. Someone needed to make wand movements. Oakey figured the words out but the actual creating of a spell...He's only a first year for crying out loud.

Cass looked around, frankly she was just too lazy to look for a partner. But if somebody wanted to partner up with her, than it would be alright too.
She glanced up towards the board and frowned. She was supposed to make up a spell for transfigure stuff to the things written on the board. Alright. Maybe it would be fun. Quote:

'On on econdition,' Daisy said, 'you tell me what in Merlin's name we are doing?' Daisy had been listening to the lesson, but she was a sane person, and interpreting some sense out of Shaw's words had been practically impossible. 'I'm not entiiiirely sure what the lessons about....' she said.

Ho hum. As usual, Serena was on her own. She knew a few Latin names but had no idea what she needed. Maybe some longer hair. Did she know the Latin for hair? Capillis wasn't it. So she wrote that down on her parchment.

Oakey understood where she was coming from, Yeah, I'll help you out
Shaw was hard to understand. See these words I wrote on the desk.
We need to use these to make a spell for transfiguring. I thought it best to make the Purple Dog. but we need to do wand movements for it as well and I'm not so good with that.

AH! Your right! Oakey said out loud. It made sense. The words would need to be combined in-a-way. To get a purple dog you'd need to combine the latin for purple and dog together. Maybe Verto Punicieuscanis. That one made more sense with purple coming before dog. I think I've got the spell words.
'Oh, yay,' Daisy smiled. 'Maybe we need to look at the movements for colour changing and animal transforming, and combine them,' she suggested.
