Macy took off down the hall, in search of her brightly colored bag. No, no, no, no, no and no, no. It was absolutely nowhere! And now that she knew her wand was inside, along with who knew what else, she had to find it. Stopping by a cluster of people, the girl took a breath.

"Has anybody seen a bookbag?" she called out loudly.

Ohh, she hoped somebody might've found it. Or else that left her one possibility, and that was that she'd left it on the platform... Or back at Hogwarts, which was really two possibilities. So there were multiple places it could be, that just so happened to be far far away from her. In any case it wasn't good.

She just hoped that someone here had found it. Otherwise she'd have to start invading compartments.

Now that she had given Rufus to Kurumi she had one more animal to unload... and this was going to prove a bit... awkward at best, but she had to do it. She bit her lip as she moved forward toward the front of the train in search of Arya, Merlin held tightly so he couldn't escape.

Treyen's cupcake only held her over for so long before she decided that sweets were needed. Once again Arya slipped out of her compartment, and began making her way down the corridor with wandering eyes. They'd briefly settled on a familiar cat when she spotted Lexi holding him, but she didn't allow them to linger, just kept moving... maybe with a bit more determination?

Oh no! She wasn't going to walk away. Not NOW. Lexi HAD to do this. Stepping in front of Arya she held Merlin out. "You should have him... I have thought about this quite a bit. And before you walk away... please take him." There. That was the Lexi way. Get it all out there in the open before anyone has a moment to respond. HA.

Arya stopped abruptly, stared a bit wide-eyed at Merlin for a moment, and finally looked up at Lexi, blinking slowly. "... I... can't have him. He's yours." Slow confused blink. Sabel had given Merlin to Lexi, and as much as Arya had missed him and loved the cat, she couldn't undo what he'd done. It just didn't feel right.

Lexi was shaking her head before Arya had even finished speaking. "You don't understand... He isn't mine. He belongs with Sabel or YOU. I can't have him anymore. Besides... Sal is allergic to cats. And.. it's not my place to have Sabel's familiar. It should have always been you that had him all along... I can't keep holding on to a piece of him anymore. It's not right. Please let me make this right," Lexi said with the pleading tone evident in her voice.

Sucking in her bottom lip, she first considered turning and heading back to the prefect's compartment where she couldn't be reached by Lexi, but as her words started to sink in, the thought and desire started to fad.

Slowly, hesitantly, she reached a hand out to give Merlin's ear a scratch. "Does Sabel know? That your trying to give me, Merlin?" So much sense was being made by Lexi, and she knew it. But she still couldn't bring herself to willingly accept the creature. What would Sabel say when he picked her up at the platform?

Why was she not just taking the kittttty? BAH! "He will know. I will write to him and tell him everything, I swear. I just... it's not right. I was being selfish then... and I apologize for that. Please, Arya. Just take him," she said as she tried to thrust the black ball of fur into the other girl's arms. She was going to take the cat. SHE WAS.

She wasn't giving Arya a chance to think about this, and Arya needed TIME. Like... weeks worth, this was so sudden, she still wasn't able to wrap her mind around it.

Reflex had her hands moving out to catch the cat when she thought he'd fall to the ground, and it was still with a great deal of hesitancy that she pulled him close for a quick nuzzle before boosting him up on her shoulders.

"Okay.... if you say so." She gave Lexi a uneasy look, biting her lip. "Just... let me know... if you change your mind." Before they got of the train, because the prefect wasn't sure she would even have the heart to return the cat.

"I insist. I am leaving for France then Asia as soon as we get to London... I can't keep dragging Merlin all over the place. And like I said, Sal is allergic... and it's not right for me to have him anyway, Arya. I am just sorry I didn't come to this conclusion earlier."

Lexi reached out and scratched Merlin under his little kitty chin and cooed at him just a bit before looking back at Arya with a smile. "He's with who he should have been with all the while. I will send Wasabi to Sabel right now actually. Perhaps she can get to him before we get to the station," she said as she gave Merlin one more scratch. "Hope you have a good summer, Arya. See ya around." And with that the blonde was melting back into the sea of students in the corridor... so the other girl wouldn't be able to change her mind. Heh.

Wait, so was this about liking Dallin or just being friends with him? The latter apparently? Vashti wasn't really sure anymore - but then again, when had she ever been sure about this whole being in love/like business? "I'm sure you will." Hang out with Dallin that is. As for the spirit thing... "I think Nicolas Flamel is dead and has remained so, Louisa. His spirit isn't hanging around like those pirates' were." And why was she so into the idea of what her spirit was like? Vashti didn't comment on how Louisa described Dallin's spirit - she really didn't have anything to say to all that. She just hoped the subject of spirits and death would pass quickly.

Between Merlin making himself comfortable on her shoulders, to Lexi explaining why she was giving up the cat, Arya was completely bemused. She couldn't get her brain to focus on either cat or person.

Sal.... Asia... France... allergic...

Shifting her shoulders so that Merlin wouldn't fall off when he stretched his neck out towards Lexi, reaching her hand up to balance him when she left faster than she could get a word in. "Have a good summer, Lexi...." Watching the girl go with a bemused look. Letter or none, she didn't know HOW she was going to explain this to Sabel.

"Who knows! Besides, those Pirates were dead, weren't they?" She was still frowning. This whole topic was exhausting when you haven't eaten or slept within forty eight hours, "I mean it was only the spirit that flew and occupied the people. Our spirits don't die!! They shouldn't!" She was horrified by the mere idea. Why was Vashti implying that?

..before Louisa could elaborate on her thoughts and ask more, a girl suddenly shouted. At first, and because of the death talk, Louisa thought someone had died or a spirit had heard Vashti saying they were dead and came to prove her wrong... so naturally, she crouched and stared at the source of the voice..

..oh. A bookage only. No spirits. With a flushed face, she got up and avoided Vashti's eyes, "They definitely aren't here. Your books. But We'll keep an eye on them," She told the girl, calmly. She wasn't finished with Vashti yet. They had to talk about spirits.. and Dallin. "Would you like us to help you, though?" She asked half-heartedly. Helping strange girls weren't on Louisa's priority list today... but Vashti definitely would do it, anyway, so she might as well pretend to care.

Of course those pirates were dead. They wouldn't just be spirits if they weren't. Vashti did say that, though, since Louisa basically seemed to agree - at least on that part. "No, your spirit doesn't die," she agreed. "But they don't just hang around on earth either, unless they're ghosts like the Grey Lady or the Bloody Baron." Ghosts and spirits were two very different things in her mind; a person either came back as a ghost or went on as a spirit to whatever came after death. 'Twas that simple.

And then before she could talk any further...

...someone was shouting about a bookbag and Louisa was now looking around for it. And oh yes, Vashti would help. It got them off the death and spirits subject - she'd look for this girl's bookbag forever if it kept Louisa off that previous subject. "Yeah, we'd be glad to help you look for it," she said to the girl, nodding.

Macy glanced over as a few girls mentioned her bag. OH. They hadn't seen it. *sad face* Well then maybe it wasn't in the corridor. Perhaps somebody had accidentally picked it up? She should hope not, but it was possible.

The girl nodded towards the two. "I'd love the help!" she said with a grin of relief. "I'm sort-of in mid-panic mode since I realized my wand was in it," Yeeeeah, again, not her smartest move. "I'm Macy by the way," she stated with a nod.

Now where might that bag be? . . .

Oh good! The girl was accepting their help. So Vashti smiled. Ohhh, her wand was in the bag too? Now that definitely wasn't good. Vashti could definitely understand why she was panicking - the Ravenclaw imagined she'd be the same way if she ever lost hers, and - wait. Her wand!

Smiling again as Macy introduced herself, the fifth year replied, "I'm Vashti, and this is Louisa." She nodded to the third year as she said her name and then drew her wand. Maybe this would help? "Accio Macy's bookbag!" Maybe it'd work...? If not, they'd just have to look the old-fashioned way, which was fine with Vashti.
