Hugo shifted through the corridor finding a compartment, holding his trunk and his owl. Another year had gone by at Hogwarts. He was going to be a fourth year. A big boy. It seemed odd, growing up. He still hadn't had his growth spurt, but that would come. Hopefully.

The term went by so fast. Aiden is going to be in second year in the next three months. She can't wait to see new faces next year especially the Snakes! Putting that aside for now, Aiden has a major problem right now: going back to that mansion. Why can't she just stay at Hogwarts?

With one hand held at chest level holding a cage of a pygmy puff owl and another hand dragging the trunk behind her, Aiden makes her way through the train corridor as she bumps into a senior Ravenclaw that she has never spoken to before. Knowing that she shouldn't act so arrogant, Aiden decided to greet the older boy. "Hello," she greets him with a mellow voice and a faint smile.

Tired, confused and totally hungry, Kita moved along the corridor of the train, trying to find a spare compartment to sit in. Where were her friends when she needed them?

... Anyhow they were sitting all the way at the back of the trian...

Kita readjusted her grip on the cage of her owl and continued moving along the train, dragging her trunk along. In a couple of month's time, she would be on this train on her way to Hogwarts. For the last time.

Now that was just sad!

Sighing, the brunette put her trunk down at the edge of the corridor and took a moment to... relax? Is that even right? Whatever. Kita was tired and now she had stopped, so according to her, she was relaxing. Standing up. In the middle of the corridor. Great(!)

Caroline walked down the corridor of Hogwarts express. Trying to make her way to the back of the train with her trunk, two cats and one very moody owl. This was not fun at all. And in the middle of all of that she was trying to catch up with Kita, who was wayyyy in front of her.



"KITA!" The blonde shouted, her voice echoing in the corridor.


How in the world did that girl get here so far? She had came out of nowhere in the first place. The two cats ran out in front of her. "Tarzan, Jane, guys watch it... She stepped on one of her cats talls and tripped over the other. That was it Caroline Next term she was only bringing her owl. She quickly jumpped to her feet hopefully no one seen that besides Kita, she didn't even wont her to see that.

The very first thing Louisa's mind had come up with as she made her way back from the food trolley was 'Good thing I broke my broom in the Flying Finals'. Because on her way to Hogwarts this year, she'd hit over five people with the broom floating behind her in the corridor. She didn't know there was a specific place for them and like an idiot carried it with her inside.. nobody seemed to point that out.

And it was good thing that this chocolate frog didn't jump out of her mouth, this time. She enjoyed chewing it slowly feeling the calories provide her with enough energy to go on with her miserable journey.

After dropping her stuff off in a compartment and excusing herself to go get some candy, Vashti wandered down the train corridor towards the food trolley, looking forward to getting something to eat. She'd eaten breakfast, of course, and lots of it, but she was already hungry again. She felt like she hadn't had this big of an appetite in awhile, so she took it as a good sign. Of what, she wasn't sure. Or perhaps she was, but she didn't really want to think about it right now. Food and being home was all she wanted to think about now.

Lost in thought as she was, she didn't notice Louisa coming towards her until she was only centimeters away and accidentally - but gently - bumped shoulders with her. "Oh, hey! Sorry, Louisa," she apologized, giving the girl a little smile. "I wasn't paying attention." Obviously.

Swallowing the last chocolate frog she had, someone bumped her shoulder and caused her to choke. One hit to the chest and the chocolate was on its way again. Who was this ST-

Oh. Vashti. At least it wasn't Dallin. "It's all right. I'll live," She didn't bother to smile. Only shurgged and leaned her back against the wall of the corridor, "You're hungry? I have more chocolate in my pocket," She said in a bored, indifferent voice. Somehow, nothing really mattered to her after a night of ultimate hunger and disappointment.

Hmm?

Louisa was oddly...calm today. Only a couple days - nights, rather - ago she was practically bouncing off the walls as she showed off that trophy to her and Dallin - which Vashti still needed to talk to her about - and now she was unusually calm and indifferent. What had happened? It must have happened at the feast last night... But what was "it"?

"What's wrong?" she asked, concerned, forgetting all about the chocolate and her reason for being in the corridor in the first place.

What was it with everyone asking her what was wrong?! Did she have a sign that said she was feeling down these two days? Without thinking, her hand went to her forehead and she wiped the non-existing sign. "Everything's wrong, actually. Where do I start?" Because this was Vashti and she could know and might explain things, "Let's start with the stupid summer. I'm going to stay in Aunt Brown's house acting like a doll in a dress!" Exaggerating, "Then, my family probably won't make it from France in the first couple of weeks and it's been a year since I saw them!" True, "And lastly, I get a stomachache when I see someone holding someone else's hand!" Understatement- she had a stab in her chest but.. nobody needed to know that.

With an exaggerated sigh, she slipped down to the floor and hugged her knees to her chest to make room for passing students, "I don't like the fact that I'm..." She never said it before, "..like I might be liking someone."

Wow. That was a strange fact to the thirteen years old bookworm.

Kita sighed and leaned back on the windows behind her. Yes, fine, she was standing on a moving train and she should be holding onto something sturdy, just in case she lost balance. But meh! It was the summer and all she wanted to do was reeeellllaaaaa-

o_O Whaaaaaat?! Who in the name of Merlin had just shouted her name like that?!

Jumping slightly, Kita looked around her to find the source of all the shouting. Her eyes rested on a familiar blonde who... seemed to be carrying too much. Just when Kita was about to squeal the girl's name, Caroline had done the inevitable. "Oh my days!" she said, rushing over to her best friend, "Are you ok?"

Louisa was suddenly rubbing at her forehead as if there was something there... Oh yes, something was definitely wrong with her.

Vashti was relieved that her friend appeared to be willing to explain what was wrong - as opposed to Vashti trying to force it out of her - but she was a little surprised by the long list of things that were wrong. Merlin, Louisa rarely seemed to have any luck with her family, particularly during the summer. She listened quietly and patiently...and was quite surprised by the ending to Louisa's little list.

"Who?" she asked, raising a brow. "Who's holding whose hand?" Those two things - Louisa liking someone and getting a "stomachache" when she saw that someone holding someone else's hand - they were linked, weren't they? Oh, but she also ought to address the problems with staying with her aunt and her family not coming back from France for awhile. Vashti couldn't really help with the second one, but the first one... "You could come to my house for a little while if you need to." She was sure her mum and Aunt Grace wouldn't mind.

The inevitable two questions were asked. She hadn't planned on how to answer each one without getting her face turned to a tomato. And sitting on the corridor's floor definitely wasn't the solitude she'd prefer for this conversation. "Listen," She stood up and dragged Vashtu gently from her wrist so the both of them could whisper, "I haven't really figured it out but.. I think I.. kind of.." Ugh! Looking around and making sure neither Dallin nor his nasty girlfriend were around, she talked, "..like Dallin. And I did think of him as a friend. Only a friend! I swear!" Her eyes were falling at one side in a sad-puppy position, "But I don't know what happened! I got so upset yesterday for seeing him with Ellie. I was saving a place for him. I wanted him to sit with me! I don't know what's going on inside of my head but I definitely can feel the uncomfortable sensation when he's around. And I don't like it," She started wiping her eyes before they dared to produce tears, "And he's just.. so different and.. mean," for having a girlfriend and not tell her! It might've changed a lot of things!

"Thanks. But I don't want to be a burden," In fact, it was an amazing idea to sleep over at Vashti's for some time! They could talk, read and do whatever they wanted... right? Although, Louisa didn't know who lived there with the girl.. other than her mom and new boyfriend maybe? Or was he only a friend now?

Hmm, yes, the corridor wasn't exactly the best place to whisper and discuss personal matters, but there weren't any free compartments nearby, so they really didn't have much choice. So Vashti bent forward a little so that she and Louisa could talk at least a little more privately.

Dallin?! That boy Louisa had introduced her to a couple nights ago and who was in Vashti's year? Well no wonder she had been sitting all close to him that night - obviously Louisa had liked him long before what had happened at the feast; she just hadn't realized it before. And now Vashti suddenly wished she had more experience in this area because she really wasn't sure what advice to give her friend. Sure, Vashti had had a crush on a guy before, but that was quite a few years ago, and she'd never actually gone through the pain of her crush having a girlfriend - well, he might have one now, but it didn't bother her since she'd already grown out of it. And since then, her love life had been pretty much nonexistent. So what advice could she possibly give?

"I'm sure he isn't mean," she told Louisa quietly. "If you didn't know you liked him until last night, I'm sure he too was unaware of it as well, so he didn't do it to hurt you. He cares about you, I know he does." Even if it might only be as a friend, Vashti was a hundred and ten percent sure Dallin cared about Louisa - he wouldn't have agreed to stay up all night to hang out with her if he didn't.

But which "Ellie" was this? Vashti knew at least a couple of girls with that name, though she was sure it wasn't her Quidditch friend Ellie. She didn't want to ask though; Louisa probably didn't want to talk about her crush's girlfriend too much.

"You wouldn't be." Vashti wouldn't have offered if she thought Louisa would be a "burden."

*Once his things were packed up and he found a compartment Matty got up. He couldn't just sit put the whole trip home. Matty had a feeling he would do plenty of sitting on the 5 hour broom ride. Also he hadn't seen Marie yet. He wanted to spend some time with her before he got home. Sooner or later he would see her, she was probably with friends and would find him when she was done.*

Marie left the food trolley happy to get away from that awkward scene. Sure, Neptune had said she could stay but really, why would she want to? Neptune and Legend clearly had some issues to work out, not to mention Legend totally ignored her as if she hadn't even been standing there.

Yeah, it was best that she left the two... whatever they were alone.

Heading towards the front of the train she was still on the lookout for Matty. After all, he was the one she had been looking for when she ran into Neptune. This time she made sure to watch where she was going. She didn't want to run into anyone else that might make her feel all awkward.

Looking ahead she got a HUGE smile when she seen just the person she was looking for. Running up behind him and maybe knocking a couple little kids out of her way she jumped on his back and kissed his neck. "I was beginning to think you missed the train."

*Feeling someone jump him Matty knew right away who it was. Pulling Marie around to see her face to face Matty smiled warmly and gave her a soft kiss.*
"Well hello little monkey, I figured you would want to say goodbye to your friends. Seeing as how you'll be with me all summer."
*He smiled even more as he thought of traveling the world with her all summer.*

Arya decided to leave Perseus in the prefects compartment as she slipped out, eyes absently scanning the corridor for any signs of trouble, a habit she'd started to pick up LONG after she'd been badged.

When none was spotted, she glanced over her shoulder to see if Treyen was following behind, hand going up to fiddle with her silver dolphin necklace. Hm.

His Co-Prefect was the one in search of any sign of trouble. He, however, wasn't. It seems Treyen had left that 'Prefect' attitude he never had back at the Castle. The badge wasn't on him, though, but it was on his pocket. Just in case.

He followed after Arya as soon as they both agreed they could leave the Prefects' Compartment, and while he wasn't looking forward to this, he was kind of glad that Neptune wasn't around to listen to it. "You have questions." He said, after she'd stopped and AFTER he'd made sure no one could be eavesdropping.

"But first I want to apologize, for ruining the feast for you," she was still excited to be heading back, no? Was Sabel going to be waiting for her?

Rufus was sulking a bit... he didn't want to miss holiday again... or at least that was what Lexi was assuming anyway. He wasn't chattering as much as she held him in her arms. He just seemed... MEH.

Sighing Lexi held him closer and nuzzled his little cheek a bit hoping to cheer him up. He did love Lexi nuzzles. SIGHS FOR LIFE LITTLE MONKEY. Trying to fight her way through the crowd seemed impossible so after a few moments she simply drew her wand and sent her Patronus for Kurumi.

Hehe... little monkey.

Releasing her grip on him she moved around so she was standing in front of him now.

Mmm... Kisses from Matty... she did love getting Matty kisses.

Oh right, say goodbye to her friends. Truth was she hadn't really thought about that. She had said her goodbyes to Destiny and Evelyn in the dorm room this morning and Mia, well she hadn't seen her yet. Maybe she would find her later. "The only one I haven't seen is Mia. I'm sure I'll see her before we leave Kings Cross though." Right now she all she wanted to do was spend time with Matty.

Yeah... all summer with him.

Now that was something to smile about. "I can't wait to get our summer started." Two months, four beaches, four different countries... yeah they were going to have an amazing summer. Putting her arms around his neck she stood on her toes and whispered in his ear.

She then let go of him and went to find an empty compartment so they could talk... in private... without anyone interrupting them.

Good. He was right behind her, so she too could put away her prefect attitude. She leaned against the wall of the surprisingly secluded part of the corridor, eyes on Treyen as she nodded her head.

"No need for apologies," She waved off the apology. It was just one feast that wasn't completely ruined, and besides, she had ruined that one time they were in the common room, so she owed him one. "I was just worried about you, I'm glad your better now." At least he looked better, and he was sharing his cupcakes, which meant he was better, right? Right.

"So... what's up with you and the girls? Kurumi and Ellie." Maybe they should start with just one? And Kurumi had to be the easiest all things considered. "What was all that Kurumi was going on about in the letter?"

"I can't wait either... I just hope when I meet your parents... things go well."
*He smirked and nodded his head letting Marie pull him down the corridor. Stopping her Matty pulled her into his compartment near the front.*

Kurumi had been loitering around the food trolley when something silvery came up beside her and rubbed against her leg. Thinking it was Walnut, she had reached down, only to find her hand pass through whatever it was, and her landing in a pile of third year Gryffindor on the floor. It had only taken a few moment for her to realize that there was a patronus looking at her. "A lynx?" she asked rolling onto her stomach. Kurumi hadn't seen this one before, well, the only one she had seen was the one belonging to Professor Vindictus. And then it spoke. "Lexi?"

Kurumi followed the patronus as it lead her to where Lexi was standing. A smile appeared on her face. "Lexi!" she chirped. "Oh, hello Rufus."

Sigh. Was the apology accepted or not? "I'm still sorry," even more so because he left, rather abruptly too. He did mention to her that he was leaving, but still. He smiled at her, and gave her a small nod. It was his way of saying 'Thank you', for worrying. Arya worried too much.

Man, she didn't even WAIT before asking questions! She wanted to know things! Things that Treyen had been keeping to himself because he'd thought were unimportant, or rather...unrelated. It was no one's business what the conversation he'd had with Kurumi had been about. However, the last thing that happened involved someone else. And other people as well.

The boy sighed before leaning against the wall across from Arya, "I...should've told you sooner, but I didn't think it would...cause chaos," chaos in his mind, and heart, and life. Well, not that much. 'Life' was too dramatic. "Arya, Kurumi...told me she liked me a while ago, in the Trophy Room, that's why she mentions it," he started to say, keeping his voice low, "But a couple weeks ago...see, I told her we probably needed to spend some time apart, but she came looking for me, said something that she needed a friend, and, well, I couldn't say no...but...," he thought he'd heard something, but it was just a far away compartment door that got opened.

And he forgot to keep on going...
