He saw her give him a smile. Ok then. She didn't need a hug. He did though. But he wasn't going to ask for one. He had hoped she wanted one so he could get one back. Obviously not though. His Mom always hugged him when he was sad. And now noone wanted to. Which kind of made him sadder. |

"...and what do you know about my father?" she continued. "If he is, in fact, in the dungeons as you say..." She was challenging this girl now. "...then what did he look like? What was his name?" As she spoke, she moved her wand to the side and began vanishing more of the horrid writing on the walls. She didn't want to chance her name being somewhere else amongst the mess. |

Ellie cast a sideways glance at the second year and sighed again. "When did you start carrying your wand around?" She was proud of him, regardless of the lack of expression on her face. Last she remembered, he hadn't seen the point in carrying it around. Hogwarts was all tricks and mirrors to him. Had that changed? |

That was in no way okay. Ellie'd prefer if he didn't carry his wand if that was his reason. She turned to him, and put on her 'I'm older and wiser and you should listen to me' cap, accompanied with a certain tone of voice. "Don't go kissing girls, Conan. Wait. Wait a very long time." She had experience on her side. "Promise me you won't go kissing anyone." Do it. It was for his own good, after all. |

Lola gulped and was an obvious liar at this point (her acting had forever failed) because she was trying her utmost best to refuse any sort of eye contact. This twin thing: it wasn't working. She knew Sierra would spoil her fun if she knew who she was. And that menacing-looking wand! IF SHE KNEW SHE WAS POINTING IT AT HER MOTHER... Really, the girl needed to be taught discipline because this was simply unacceptable, she'd seen her transformation into some sort of this rebel girl who threatens the ELDERLY with a wand! Lola was helping her change into a happy bumblebee. Sierra had a bee-swatter by her side... Did she know they were an endangered species? AND HOW IN MERLIN'S BEARD WOULD SHE KNOW SIERRA'S FAMOUS FATHER?! Oh no. What would happen if she was caught?! Would Sierra's father hate her? "GET OUT CHILD, YOU'VE TARNISHED MY DAUGHTER'S NAME"--the man would say and Lola would desperately respond back with a--"SIR, PLEASE, NO, you're my only connection with the FAME!" If a man worked Lord Borr, anyone else would be daft to not consider them famous. Lola Jones was not bonkers enough to reveal her true identity. But she had to. "I AM NOT CIARA GREINGOTH, Sierra!" This would be her next escape plan. Lola threw the battered and wrecked the pillowcase towards Sierra. "Take it! TAKE THE PILLOWCASE!" She said in wrath and then immediately took a few steps forward to the girl, suddenly fearless. "Do you know who I am? I'm Sierra Greingoth! YOUR ENTIRE LIFE IS A LIE. You're not the real Sierra Greingoth, I am. PROFESSOR?!" she called out, "Professor! There's an imposter on the loose! She's got her wand at me! Help! Help!" Half the ribbons hadn't been vanished yet and seeing the girl with the pillowcase--and the feathers laying down on the ground--it wasn't her fault anymore. |
Quote:
WAS THAT HER PILLOW?! :whaa: Sierra gasped, and the second long reaction opened up a loophole for this imposter. Sierra's wand dropped ever so slightly, and of course her attention was stolen away. "Is that my pillow!?" she shrieked. She looked down at the fluffy white object, which was really no longer fluffy, since it had been de-feathered and therefore destroyed by the imposter. "Well, of course you're not me," Sierra said, rolling her eyes. "I'm me." She jumped back, not even wanting to be near the pillow or its case anymore. She pointed her wand at the pillowcase. "Evanesco!" It disappeared into the non-being. She worked on removing some more of the pink writing. "I wouldn't normally care that you've destroyed school property, but you put my name on these walls, and you're using my likeness." She poked the girl with her wand. "WHY." ...professor? A professor had shown up. Sierra dropped her wand and whirled around to look. |

Lola nodded evilly, suddenly feeling so... so mean! She felt like Sierra. NO. She was Sierra. There denial was no more. Was she rolling her eyes at her now? Why couldn't Siera just ACCEPT the fact that she wasn't real? Making things even more difficult, even more complicated, but she had to agree the girl had some backbone--a backbone that she would destroy entirely. How would she like that?! She was here decorating this corridor so that the school would love Sierra but as shown, this girl wouldn't allow it. Did she embrace the hate?! THE GLUMLINESS?! "Yes, that is your pillow and--" she gasped when the girl Vanished it, "HEY! THAT WAS MY PILLOW!" She was siding with herself and Sierra at the same time, so very confusing, and that was all perfectly intended. "WHY?!" Sierra was SO blind! "I'm helping you, child. Don't you dare question it! DON'T YOU DARE!" The girl was distracted. Lola immediately took a step forward and brought out her own wand. From it spouted pink conjured ribbons that wrapped around Sierra's body, acting as a rope. This felt like BETRAYAL but she had to do this. "You brought this upon yourself..." |
Quote:
She spun around--"Lo--...." leaving her mouth in a warbled sound--as the first of the ribbons tied around her. More and more came then, and finally Sierra collapsed to the ground. She'd stumbled really, but somewhere in the back of her mind she'd come to one conclusion and one conclusion only-- PLAY DEAD. So she lied there, lifeless, her eyes shut off from the world, as she waited for who she'd guessed was Lola to start freaking out. If Sierra knew the Star Seeker like she thought she did, the girl would have a near panic anxiety attack. Or, at least, she hoped this was Lola and not some intruder who was about to hex her to Saturn and back. She said nothing. She moved no more. She just waited. |
Polyjuiced as Sierra Greingoth Quote:
Lola was so sly and intelligent--these ribbons would tie her up and let her resume to decorating the corridor! "Thaaaaaaat's right, you better...--" she suddenly choked. Sierra just collapsed to the ground with a dull thud. Haha! Oh were the ribbons too strong? Silly Lola for using much force with the ribbons, a yes, that was it! Why was she... No that wasn't really possible... THEY WERE JUST BLOODY PINK RIBBONS. Merlin's beard. MERLIN'S PINK FLOBBERING BEARD. "SIERRAAAAAAAAAA!" THIS WAS IT. Lola Jones was a MURDERER. She just KILLED her best friend with fluffy pink ribbons! NO. NO. NO?! NO. She immediately dropped her wand to the ground and then started breathing heavily, panicking, running towards the body and shaking her head in complete denial. Lola didn't kill her. No. No. SIERRA KILLED HERSELF. She was hyperventilating, shaking, and the tears were starting to heavily flow throughout her eyes. "WAKE UP, SIERRA! WAKE UP! I DIDN'T MEAN TO--OH HIPPOGRIFFS WHYYYYYY!" She started shaking the body, slapping her face in hopes the girl was just suffering from a mild concussion. What would this mean for her?! This wasn't just the end of Sierra's life. This was the end of hers. And then three words popped up in her mind: HIDE THE BODY. Whether it was all under panic, she fretted for a bit, slapping the limp body on the ground and then wondering what to do. Yes, of course. HIDE THE BODY. LOLA WAS THE VICTIM HERE! The ribbons were still around the girl and she didn't plan to remove it, so she immediately got up and started dragging the body by pulling her feet. Please don't turn into a ghost, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TURN INTO A GHOST. Would Lola be cursed forever? Haunted by Sierra's corrupted soul for the rest of her life? They did say that the cold and glum were usually turned into ghosts first and with that thought, a horrified expression came to life on her face. "Maybe the Squid would take her... yes yes he's a nice man..." She mumbled, still battling death herself (she was so close to suffering a heart attack after all). "I didn't do it, Sierra did it. I didn't do it, Sierra did it. I didn't do it, Sierra did it..." She chanted but it surely didn't make her feel any better. |
Text Cut: highjinx Sierra's body was just being slapped and tossed about like she didn't even matter anymore. This she could not, WOULD NOT, accept. She rose up suddenly, like Voldemort rising from the ashes, and wrapped her hands around Lola's neck. "LOLA JONES!" Sierra yelled, her voice carrying down the corridor. "I'm playing dead, you idiotic fool! ...and you were just going to toss me into the lake?! Feed me to the giant squid!?" She released the hold she had around Lola's neck and sprang from the ground. "Accio, wand!" she called out, and Lola's dropped wand came flying toward her. She reached up and grabbed it, and then she held both wands out toward the imposter. "Reveal yourself!" she called out. "Who are you? Speak now, Lola Jones, and I shall slightly forgive you for this terrible deed you've done!" |
Quote:
It was a long moment before she replied. "Good." She relaxed back against the wall. But, you know what? Kissing wasn't a very good subject for her right now either. So.... "Anything else?" Or could she continue back to her dorm. Because...she didn't care to see Little Professor much anymore. |
Polyjuiced as Sierra Greingoth Quote:
Or so she thought. Lola shrieked in complete surprise, a shriek that could have been heard throughout the school because she didn't expect this instant karma. SIERRA WAS GOING TO EAT HER! She'd read books about these, how the dead always had their revenge, but at the moment, she was not thinking about books but instead gurgled and screamed even more. This was the death of her. "PLE--EZ LE'GO!" she screamed in fear and she was certain that she would be strangled to death by this Zombie!Sierra. Lola made the strangest of noises, like the sound of a fish screaming after being put out on dry land and losing the precious water that it needed--in this case, Lola Jones needed AIR. AIR. AAAAAAAIR. Sierra finally let go and Lola felt this was her chance to run, but WHY. The evil strangling girl Accio'd her wand and running away would be useless by now. "Sierra, you don't know what you're doing! The Lake, I heard," she choked, taking a few steps back, "is... fresh... cooling... these days. With a kind and nurturing Squid!" Her tone was in a mix of confusion, reassurance, and fear. Another few steps back. "What are you talking about?!" She gulped. "Lola? I don't know... I'M SIERRA GREINGOTH!!! Lover of pink ribbons and sunshine!" ... Wait, she wasn't dead. Then with much thought, she opened her mouth. "YOU LIED TO ME?! YOU'RE NOT EVEN DEAD ARE YOU?! MERLIN. OH WE WILL HAVE A LONG, LOOOOONG DISCUSSION ABOUT FAKING YOUR DEATH. I could have--I could have had a heart attack! But you're a liar. A LIAR, I SAY." Lola continued to insist that she was the victim, but this probably just gave her away. She pointed in accusation. |
Text Cut: IMPOSTER! "The lake," Sierra said, smirking in laughter. "Just more proof that you, the imposter standing before me, are indeed Lola Jones. As I seem remember, you are a mermaid in training, yes?" Mermaids. She eyed Lola, waiting for her to officially crack. Waiting for that loophole she needed to expose the imposter once and for all. Sierra made a face. "Pink ribbons and sunshine? Indeed not." She rolled her eyes and then stepped forward even more. She and herself were now eye to eye. It was an odd feeling, really. She was starting to get angry. She was being made a fool of, and she didn't like it one bit. "I said speak up!" she demanded again. "Reveal yourself now, or you and I are not the best friends we became that day in Diagon Alley!" Sierra drew in an angry-sounding sigh. "If I am a liar then you are the cause of these vicious lies. YOU, with the strings you attempted to kill me with, and YOU, who claimed a professor was among us!" She paused and leaned in to Lola's ear, whispering, "...and YOU, who broke into my dorm and stole my pillow..." ...give in, Lola Jones. You know you want to. |
Polyjuiced as Sierra Greingoth Quote:
And the eye contact was finally there. She took a step back and squinted, hoping that would help in this torturous process. "SHHHH SHHH Sierra, no need to raise your voice," she replied with a shaky voice of her own. JUST END THIS ALREADY. "ALRIGHT!" IT WAS THE PILLOWS. THE PILLOWS THAT BROKE HER. "It's me! It's Lola! No need to be in SUCH a foul mood, darling! I'm HELPING YOU!" She immediately made theatrical movements that the real Sierra would have never performed. Lola was broken. Her mental capacity could have been questioned at this point because out from her robes, she grabbed dozens of flower petals and then threw them right at Sierra's face. "FEEL THE PETALS, DARLING! DO YOU FEEL THE LOVE? No! You don't. That's why I'm here. To replenish the happiness that you could have never felt! TO OBTAIN THE ULTIMATE!" |
Text Cut: highjinx Sierra threw, literally threw, Lola's wand back at her. She saw it break through the showers of petals and possibly hit Lola Jones right on the nose. She lowered her own wand and stowed it away in its holster. "I'll get you, Lola Jones. You won't know when. You won't know how," she said, stepping away, "but you've got it coming it you." She sighed and before walking off added, "However...if Slytherin house rises to fame by winning the house cup, as well, then all will be...forgotten. Water under the bridge, if you will." She walked some ways down the corridor and said over her shoulder, "If your efforts help us prevail, then you, too, shall prevail. See you at the feast, Jones, ...and may be the best house win." Seconds later, Sierra had disappeared down the corridor. |
"Ow!" The wand had hit her right in the nose and Lola whimpered as she pet the wand, more concerned about its safety than her never being able to correctly breathe for the rest of her life. Her eyes widened even more when Sierra gave some sort of a death threat in which she took a more steps back. "You don't mean..." Her eyes were squinted again and she tried her best not to look scared. But Merlin. BUT SHE WAS GIVEN MERCY! Sweet lord. "Oh, thank you, dear friend! Thank you!" Right now, her hair had started uncurling itself... whhhhhyyy?! But with that, she grabbed a handful of petals from the ground and then held it up in the air with pride while she retained Sierra's face, skipping and twirling all the way back to the dungeons. |

"Are you sure you are ok?" he smiled, concerned. He didn't like his friends being sad, and he didn't have that many friends. |
Philip trudged through the third floor hallway, limping slightly, but it didn't look like he was in pain. It was as if he was afraid of using his right leg. He turned a corner and sighed, leaning against the wall to rest. Walking like this was obviously a difficult task in such a large castle, and with the moving steps it could prove quite dangerous. Whatever was wrong, he felt it worth the risk. |

Nonetheless, she wasn't going to force herself out of Conan's grip, so...so...so she followed. |
