He was NOT going to pick her up. HE COULD NOT. Ryden forbid it. She would claw his eyes out and tear bag apart and bruise and punch him until HE had to go to the stupid Hospital Wing. Although, in all honesty, she needed her hand for that and right now the stupid thing was swelling to rather silly proportions.

Won't be able to punch him? Ryden's eyes narrowed at that. Glancing at the opening to the wing again, the internal battle started once more and she snarled. Not only was she being absolutely ridiculous, KOALA BOY was here to witness her ridiculousness and here she was making a huge deal of something so minor. Hogwarts was warping her brain, the brunette was absolutely SURE of it. Hmpf.

SMALL HANDS?! SMALL HANDS?! Adorable? LIKED THEM?! The fourth year flashed back to hers and Koala Boy's first meeting. He'd also said she had small hands back then... And she could punch him. Now she couldn't. Rolling her eyes, she heaved a big sigh. "FINE. But if the person in there sticks a needle in me I SWEAR I'll rip your head off, broken hand or not," she said, his words only sinking in now.

Why would he think that if she looked at him, she'd be fine? Pompous Gryffindor, he was. And it REALLY WAS NOT TRUE, ok? Ryden was just fine on her own. As long as no one was bleeding.

But still. She wanted him in there. "Come on then... And you might as well make yourself useful. If anyone's gushing blood let me know so that I can spare my eyes the sight," she stated, shuddering at the very thought as she walked towards the entrance to the Hospital Wing, dreading each and every step she took. DEEP BREATHS, DI MARCO. Deep breaths.

Lucas made his way down the corridor. He didn't have much of a reason for being there other than simply exploring. There was so much of the castle he still hadn't seen. It was just so... Big!

Ness was really cuaght into her books so she just couldn't stop reading but,she promised she would take Puffles , her pygmy puff for a walk. So she multitasked reading her booking and making sure Puffles was following her at the same time. She turned once again to check Puffles was following her when she bymistake bumped into a boy, which seemed to be much older the her. Ness a little scared, but more embarressed said."Im Really Sorry! Are you okay?"

"Whoa!" Lucas said in surprise as something bumped him. He turned to see what it had been and found a smaller girl. "I'm fine," he said with a smile. The girl looked kind of scared, and he wanted to comfort her somehow. He wasn't going to bite! "Are you alright?"

eek! Sorry for the late reply!

'I'd be happy to help you if you wish.' the girl offered. 'But even if you still find it confusing, it's okay. We can't be good at everything. I don't understand a thing in Astronomy and I'm terrified of Flying. So there they are, too subjects I'm likely to fail.' Ariadne chuckled. 'Are you good at Flying?' the Gryffindor asked her new Slytherin friend. 'Most students seem to be.' she sighed.

'I hope so. I think DADA and Transfiguration are very important, and we really need someone competent to be teaching them.' Ariadne nodded. 'I don't know...I'm not intimidated by Lafay, I quite like her. At least I didn't get into any trouble with her...yet.' the girl grinned mischeviously.

Samira smiled at the fact that Ari didn't think she was a total idiot. "Thanks," she grinned, referring to Ari's offer to help her in Arithmancy. She wasn't even bothered at the fact that a younger student was offering to help her with her studies. Everyone had something they were good at, and something they weren't, just like she said. "Astronomy can get pretty confusing," she agreed. "But I'm not total rubbish at it like I am at Arithmancy." At the next comment Samira grinned excitedly. She always felt happy when she talked about flying. "Oh, I love it. I've been flying since I was little." Then she gave a small, reassuring smile. "I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Flying isn't a necessity," after a pause she said, "Actually, I'd be happy to help you with flying, if you want. Like an exchange." Ari helps Samira with Arithmancy, and in return Samira would help Ari with flying. Besides, Samira didn't like to accept favors without giving something in return.

At the comment about Lafay, Samira had to laugh. "Well good for you! I actually don't mind her either. I mean, I have to get used to it, since she's my head of house--but I really do respect her. She doesn't take any nonsense, and sometimes that's how things need to be."

Astronomy did get pretty confusing. Very confusing, actually. 'Another friend offered to help me with Astronomy, we're going to the Tower this evening to do some star-gazing.' Ari mentioned, half-excited about spending time with her Ravenclaw friend, half-dreading the Astronomy part. So Samira liked Flying, like almost everyone at Hogwarts. 'I don't know why I don't like it. I guess I don't trust a piece of wood, no matter how charmed and enchanted, to keep me up in the air.' the firstie reasoned. 'But I'd like that. Deal.' she nodded at Samira's idea of exchange.

Ariadne wondered how much did the Slytherins come in contact with Lafay, considering that the girl herself saw very little of her Head of House over the school year. But probably that was a good thing? 'I need to go to the Great Hall and grab a bite, I'm starving.' the girl excused herself when her stomach began to protest in hunger. 'I hope to see you again soon, we need to plan our studying exchange.' she chuckled, waving at her new friend. 'I'm very happy we've met.' Ari told Samira.

"Yeah why wouldn't I be?"
asked Ness speaking without even thinking. Oops. "Sorry Im just a bit unfocused today!" She wasn't really her mind was just only focused on her book, nothing else. The boy didn't seem to be angry with Nessie bumping into him, so Ness started to calm down a little.

She then realsised it probably be best manners if she introduced herself."Um Well Im Renesmee, Renesmee Talya Dixon, but everyone calls me Ness or Nessie" she said trying to smile at the much older boy.

Lucas was a bit taken aback. "Well, I don't know, you might have hurt yourself or something when you bumped into me." He shrugged. "That's quite a name," he said with a smile. "I'm Lucas. What are you reading?"

said Ness hopping she hadn't messed up completely. Lucas , that was quite a cool name thought Ness. Ness closed her book then showed him the cover." Cool name!' said Ness now smiling. "Oh and I'm reading Quidditch, Through The Ages, I got it from the Library!" She added the fact that she got from there, just incase he would also want to read it. The boy seemed to be in Griffindor, well at least that was the colour of his robes, maybe he had seen Zara, but he might not have even known her, so Ness just left the thought to herself.

"Oh, cool," Lucas said, looking at the book. "I really need to make a trip to the library. My friend Kurumi keeps asking me if I've gone, but I never have time. Maybe later today, I'll stop by."

Stephen had been struggling to get up to the common room since the bruise on his side was beginning to hurt. Stupid sled just had to fly from right under his bum. Seeing as he wasn't going to get upstairs anytime faster, Stephen decided he would roam the corridors on the third floor, for now. Still rubbing his bruise, Stephen began to whistle a song he played at the wedding last year. It was the one he sang with Veronica. He narrowed his eyes at himself and kept walking. But besides the bruise and the whistling, he was feeling kind of depressed. His brother, the one who had dyed his hair to make him feel part of the family, left to another continent. Stephen thought it was all his fault.

"Stupid giraffe," he mumbled. But staying with Lucy for a bit made him feel a bit better about Leonard moving. The pain in his side was now betting a bit worse thinking about his brother. So Stephen just decided to lay on the floor, on his back, not really caring who sees him. But he covered his face just in case. That way no one would know it's him.

Clutching the book, Aimée wandered away from the Library and hesitated at the staircase. Should she go up, and read in the Common Room, or her dorm? Or should she go down, and read on the Grounds? She had her scarf already on, and her thick robes, and so decided on the latter, sliding her hand gently on the banister as she moved down.

As she passed through the corridor, in the direction of the next staircase, the blonde heard the humming of a song she vaguely recognised, and pondered where it came from, but in the end shrugged it off; she'd probably remember it better if she didn't think about it, she thought, and she mentally stored the question at the back of her brain. It didn't take much effort, though - the sight she next saw consumed most of her attention, (although it did give her some clue as to what song it had been). She looked away from the floor, up to the ceiling, and rubbed her eyes, ensuring she wasn't imagining the sight, before she knelt down on the floor next to the boy.

"Are - excuse me?" she muttered, wondering if he'd fainted or something. She frowned, recognising the black hair, and the bright green she could see between her fingers, and a short giggle escaped from her lips. "Stephen? Are you okay?"

Sighing, Stephen felt himself fall asleep due to there being nothing around to entertain him. Or so he thought. Hearing a familiar voice, he groaned, not from the person next to him, but the sharp pain her just got on his side. "Was it that easy to recognize me?" He asked, slowly sitting up and facing Aimee. Or Miss Who like to disappear for ages. "Um, I think so. I just have a big bruise on my side from falling off my sled early. No big deal," he shrugged, knowing it be better of he went to the nurse. But Stephen didn't like medical purple.

"So, what brings your blondieness to the third floor? Going out for some fresh air and reading?" He asked, pointing to the book in her hands.

"It was not easy, but your fingers were parted, and your eyes slightly open. And I'd recognise zat black 'air anywhere," Aimée laughed, shifting from her kneeling position to one where she was actually cross-legged, facing the boy in front of her. "Maybe you should go to ze nurse?" She couldn't help but sound concerned, and bit down on her lip. It sounded painful, which wasn't at all good.

Tugging on the blonde pony tail that hung over her shoulder as he mentioned her blonde-ness, Aimée shrugged. "Well yes, I was planning to," she said with a nod, glancing down at the book. But now, well now she was sitting with him, on the floor. But she wasn't complaining.

"Oh, so you recognize my hair anywhere now?"Stephen asked, with a smirk on his sly face. Well, no one had ever told him that before. Stephen adjusted himself on the floor and leaned back against the corridor wall. "Nah, I'm not a big fan of nurses and doctors and such. They frighten me for some reason," The Italian boy shivered. Just thinking about them made him feel weird. He believed they just went into that field to torture little children and big babies like himself.

"Planning to? Would you much rather stay here with me?" He asked giving Aimee a playful smile.

"Right," Stephen teased. Well, he wasn't the only raven haired boy here but he would just go with her answer. For now. Oh, back to the doctor conversation. "One time, when I was about seven, my mom took me to the doctor because I somehow caught the flu. My brother was there too and he began telling me all the things they were gonna do to me. That scared me a bit but what made it worse was when they checked a throat, reflexes and ears. I dunno, I just started freaking out and screaming. Since then, I try to stay healthy to not end up going back there," Stephen confessed. Okay, so maybe that want such a big deal, but he still didn't like them ten years later. But oh well.

"Yes, company is much better than a book, sometimes. With company you gossip, which I've been uaed to for a while now since my best friend is a girl who loves being in the know," Stephen laughed, remembering those endless hours of gossip in his room.

Nodding her curly head a little, the blonde agreed. "Of course," she said, smiling now. "Well, girls do like gossip." And she knew this because she'd know some gossips in her life. "Do you 'ave any gossip at ze moment, zen?" She added, teasingly.

"Yeah, but not anytime soon. It's just a bruise, it'll heal in no time. So, don't worry so much about me, I'll be alright," Stephen smiled, reassuring her that it wasn't something to worry about. "Alright, if I broke a bone, I would go because it's something drastic. But knott for a bruise," he added, with a chuckle. Yeah, just for a hanging limb he would go.

"Well, I heard that some guy fancies you. It's been going around too the few people that know him," Stephen smirked, eyeing the blondie next to him.

Stephen laughed. "I would love to see you try to stun me for not going to a doctor. First you'll have to find me because I tend to hide when I know I have to give them a visit," he added. Then again, he was stubborn enough to run away from help. Well, medical help that is. But whatever, he'll face that fear later when he's half an inch from death or so. Not because of a bruise.

"Alright, give some good reasons why someone would fancy you?" Stephen asked, taking out a sweet from his bag and nibbling on it. They better be GOOD answers too.

"I would stun you whilst you are unsuspecting," Aimée giggled, although her idea was rather stunted by his like to hide. "Zat's not fair! I won't be able to make you go to ze 'ospital if you are going to 'ide from me." She wasn't any good at hide and seek, she got bored of it too easily, could never find the other people and she could never think of anywhere good to hide, but she wouldn't mention that because that wasn't the point.

Seemingly without hesitation, Aimée's mouth was open. "Because I am not pretty, or funny, or smart.." She listed the first things she thought of, ticking them off on her fingers as she did.

"That's the whole point, blondie," Stephen laughed, ruffling Aimee's a bit. he knew girls hated when their hair would get all messy and whatnot. So he tried not to make it too messy or else. "If you can't find me, then I won't be able to go to a doctor or hospital. I WILL BE HAPPY," Stephen laughed again. He was a pretty good hider. Since he only hid in places no one else would think of. Like in the doghouse or something.

..what this? "But you are pretty. Or else that boy that fancies you wouldn't be attracted to you. You are smart, or else you wouldn't be in this house either. And if you weren't funny, then we wouldn't be friends," Stephen smiled, nudging the blonde. "Why do you think you're none of those?"

Using her hands, Aimée batted Stephens away from her hair and used her legs to shuffle backwards a little, so that she was out of his reach. "I'll 'ave to stun you if you ruffle my 'air again," she said, and it would have come out threateningly if she hadn't been giggling slightly. But it was true: it was HER hair, and no one else was to touch it. Hmff. She pulled her bobble out and re-did her ponytail as she spoke. "But zen you might DIE. And you can not be 'appy if you are dead." Unless he like, wanted to die, which would be weird.

"ZAT is a matter of opinion, and if a boy TRULY zinks zat zen 'e 'as a bad opinion." She laughed a little as he mentioned their house. "'Mm, zat 'At's a bit old now zough, it's probably going senile." And that was why she'd been put into Ravenclaw, with no smarts. She moved her hand in a circle around the side of her head to indicate how crazy she thought the Sorting Hat was. She laughed a little at his nudge and shrugged at his next comment. "Because I am not."
