Third Floor Corridor On this floor you'll see ways to charm or heal your knee. |
Oh... oh.. no.. Katrina was lost! She had managed to lose sight of the two people in red she was following when she paused to watch an older student turn their textbook into a bird. Just.. WOW! O___O But not so wow now that she had no clue where she was. She bit her bottom lip for a few moments, tilting her head to the side and scunching up her face as she thought about what to do. Keep going forward? *nod nod* So off she trundled along the long corridor looking totally bewildered. |
Quote:
Upon getting closer... she noticed she looked bewildered, or scared even. "Katrina, are you alright, lub? You look like you might be lost? Where you need to go? I know every inch of this castle!" she exclaimed in a very chipper voice. Lookit that! Salander had taken the sads right out of her and put the happy back in. Heh. |
Quote:
“LEXI!” Kat greeted the older girl with a big bright, albeit relieved, smile. “Oh... I fink I'm a bit lost.” She replied and scratched at her head in a confused manner. “The corridors are all so higgledy-piggledy...” She waved her arms to indicate exactly how higgledy-piggledy they were. “..and I'm not sure where the common room is.” She blinked wide eyed and blankly at the older girl. “Do you fink you can you show me?” |
Quote:
"Other than being lost... how do you like things around here so far? Seen any of the cute boys and such?" she asked with an eyebrow waggle. Teehee. |
Katrina's eyes went as wide as saucers as she looked up at the older girl, awestruck by this little bit of passing information. “A moving staircase!?” She exclaimed. “Is that like wot muggles have? Escalators? … only powered by magic?” W.O.W. This place just got more and more amazing! She smiled warmly and brightly, not really bothered when Lexi linked arms with her. She may have only just met her on the train, but she felt she could trust the older girl. There was no threat.. nothing to be scared of here. “Fank you, Lexi.” She said gratefully. She nodded her head in a approving manner when asked how she was finding things. “I've not really met many people yet.” She said honestly.. and then then let out a giggle at the girl's next question. “The boys here are much better looking than at my last school.” They seemed to know what spot cream was here.. and a hair brush. She giggled again, clapping her free hand over her mouth. |
Quote:
A shrug slid off of one of the older girl's shoulder and she smiled brightly. "I don't mind helping people. Not one little bit. There is no need to thank me at all," she said lightly. She did like to be appreciated though so it made her feel like she was doing good deeds and such when she helped an underclassmen or a newbie to the school. "Well I can change that... We could go to the common room and you can meet all sorts of people! You just have to get out there and talk to people." Twas the best advice she could give! She was once a little quiet thing here. Mhm. Starting to giggle with her new found friend she nodded her head vigorously. "There are some amazingly handsome boys around here. You know... if there are any in particular you would like to meet, I would be more than happy to introduce you if I can," she said with GIGGLES. |
Katrina blinked. Lexi didn't know what an escalator was? Oh.. Kat recalled Freddie saying said something about there being witches and wizards who didn't know anything about muggles – Trixie was one of them. It made Kat feel smart about something.. and this happened rarely. She listened to the older girl, eyes getting increasingly larger as she talked of this moving staircase. “Why does it move?” She asked. “Is it cursed wiv dark magic?” Oh but Katrina's mummeh had taught her manners. She always said please and.. er.. 'fank' you. “I fink I'd be lost wivout you.” She confessed. And she didn't mean in terms of how to get to a destination. She beamed brightly. Meeting new people would be so GREAT! She giggled musically. BOYS! She nodded her head, blushing a little bit. “I'll let you know.” She replied, reaching up her free hand to feel her hot cheek. “Are you going out wiv that boy I saw you at the feast wiv?” |
Jay glanced behind him as he moved up the stairway for the third floor corridor. He didn't think he'd be this far without seeing Cass behind him. Had he been walking that fast so she'd have to chase him or maybe she did get held up by the head boy and was about to get detention. She did throw a shoe at his head after all, serves her right. Well he was going to be able to hide her shoe anywhere he wanted. He gently rubbed the back of his head as he walked, since it wasn't that serious of a wound it was already starting to scab. He could have cleaned it himself, but he headed for the hospital wing anyways. There was no telling what types of germs was on the bottom of the shoe. The last thing he wanted was for the wound to get infected. |
Quote:
She thought she had lost him on the pathway up from the greenhouse but spotted him just as he got unto the third floor with her shoe in his hand."JAYLON SUMMERS! I want my shoe right NOW!" She demanded. She whipped her wand out and pointed it at him." I mean it, give it back." |
Quote:
His eyebrows arched up when his eyes fell upon her wand as she pointed it at him. Fine, if she really wanted her shoe back that bad, he'll give it to her after some modifications. "I suggest you put that away, don't want to get yourself into more trouble." He pulled out his own wand as he talked, partly to defend himself, but mostly because he had a wicked idea. Instead of pointing it at her, he pointed it at the other shoe she was holding. "Accio shoe," The spell was so sudden and unexpected that the shoe slipped through her fingers and floated over to him. With both shoes now in his possession he did a simple severing charm and cut both heels off. "Here," he said grinning, as he tossed one and then the other back to Cass. "I made some improvements, now you can't hurt anyone with them anymore." |
Quote:
"And I suggest that you don't tell me what to do, in fact---------WHAT? My shoe!!!!!" NO he did not just take her other shoe, now she had lost both pairs and he took the heels off both of them. That was the last straw with her. He ripped up her letter and now he ruined both of her shoes. She pointed her wand at him."Petrificus Totalus!" |
Quote:
Uh ooh.... She was EXTREMELY upset now. "Cass don't you...." Jay started to reply just as the spell hit. Of all spells it had to be a body bind, now he couldn't do anything to retaliate. He stood there as stiff as a statue, his arm slightly raised with his wand between his fingers. |
Quote:
She slipped his wand into her pocket and pulled him down unto his back. Man he was a lot heavier than he looked. She was definitely going to have to find someone to help her hide him somewhere until he learned his lesson, or until she wasn't as angry with him. "Next time you'll think twice about messing with a girl's shoe or messing with a hufflepuff." Gosh she needed to get him out of the corridor before a professor came or she would be in very big trouble. She needed her bestie. Pout. After looking up and down the corridor Cassie dragged Jaylon to the side out of the way, maybe if they were busy enough they wouldn't notice a petrified boy. |
Everyday was starting to be deja vu all over again, Chandler would always walk somewhere and then something weird would happen or something would happen to him or someone who he was with. He stopped and didn't move for a while because he had heard Cassie's voice echo near where he was stood. "Cass?!" Did some guy do something to her? BLINK. "Where are you?" The Hufflepuff called out to her again and advanced to where he had thought he heard her voice. Woah. Why was Jaylon...petrified? O____O "What in Merlin's beard iz going on 'ere?" The boy folded his arms and looked sternly at her. Heh, he felt Prefectish or professorish and impooooortanttt. xD |
Quote:
Well at least it wasn't a professor or anything like that, right? It wasn't like Chandler was going to turn her in. Well she hoped he wouldn't. She opened her mouth to explain what happened but all that came out was,"He ruined my shoes!" |

SPOILER!!: all you guysesss Brynn was ambling down the third floor corridor, in no rush whatsoever. In fact, the girl was quite preoccupied with the irksome manner in which her yellow nail polish kept chipping. Honestly, the lasted no longer than a day or two. Eh, she supposed that's what she deserved, though, for not putting an enchantment on them. Her brown eyes lifted from her fingertips at the sound of rushed voices. Familiar voices. She immediately noticed Cassie standing there, by a very unconscious-looking Jaylon!, then she even realized that it was Chandler who was in on this too. "Ohmigoshh, what did you guys do to Jaylon?" She hustled over to examine her fellow Gryffindor. Heh. Poor chap. |
Quote:
She pointed to her shoes when Brynn inquired about what happened and she reached into her pocket and showed them the pieces of James' letter that was left after Jaylon ripped it to shreds." And did I tell you guys that he cheated? Yeah..he did, he deserves it." She folded her arms and threw a dirty look at Jaylon's petrified body. "I....I..need to hide him somewhere..." |
Quote:
Well..... actually, Brynn wasn't too terribly stunned that Cassie did something like this. Boys should know better than to mess around with that diva. hahh. "He cheated on you?" She gave a disgusted eye-roll. Seriously. BOYS. Ughh. She didn't give a moment's hesitation before going over to help her best friend. "What a shame. I thought Jay had been a decent guy," she commented, situating her hands under his armpits so she could try to drag him off to... to.... "The broom closet! That's probably our best bet." The two of them began lugging the dimwit off towards the closet, but then Brynn sent Mister Montague over thurr a look. What was this boy doing, standing there with his head on his shoulders. "Hey Muscles, get over hereee!" |
Quote:
"Yeah he did, with Lacey of all persons. I'm soooo ticked Bunny, ugh!" She rolled her eyes at the decent guy comment."yeah he fooled me too really, but you know Zach, his friend, had a point you know, but I ignored everything he said." She felt so stupid right now. She nodded and grabbed Jaylon's leg. What was the boy eating? Cass groaned as her and Brynn attempted to drag Jaylon along to the broom closet. She stopped just as Brynn addressed Chandler."yeah Chan, he's not as light as he looks." |
SPOILER!!: Quotesss Hmm. Chandler didn't soft his facial features, he just hardened them. Why would ANYONE petrify someone because they ruined their shoes. He would just kick them like he wanted to kick Walnutty for peeing in his. -___- He took a quick look at Jaylon and eyed him up and down. The boy was sure frozen. WTF? O___O Now BRYNN was here?! Cassie totally planned this, didn't she? That's what it appeared to look like. "...Brynn?" Chandler had no idea what he was more shocked about, seeing Jaylon like this or seeing Brynn when Jaylon was like this! And Jaylon CHEATED on her? Now this was more shocking of all three of them. "'E..'e cheated? WHY?!" Wasn't Jaylon a decent guy like Brynn said? Apparently not. "Wait. Wait. Wait. 'Old on a minute, you can't just 'ide 'im somewhere. 'E's a 'uman being do you really zink no one will find 'im and if no one did are you just going to let 'im stay in zere..forever?!" Did the spell even last forever? Chandler had no idea because he was DUMB. Bunny? Lacey? Zach WHAT?! He chose not to comment. "Cass! Brynn Don't! You could...we ALL could get into trouble! Just..unfreeze 'im or something. And don't call me Mr Muscles, Brynn. It sounds like zat muggle cleaning solution." And he was NOT a cleaning solution! "I'm not going to pick 'im up or 'elp you guys. You don't need to do zis." |
Zara, you changed your username! SPOILER!!: ;ergkjnaekrg "Yeah, I thought he had changed," Brynn added, lugging the boy along. OOF. So heavy! She briefly looked up at Chandler when he said her name, but he sorta just trailed off, so she focused her efforts back on Jaylon. Whaaaat was Chandler doing, standing around asking all these questions about the reasons behind Jay's cheating and how he cheated and all the little details. Now wasn't exactly the time! Then he went all prefect on them both. Merlin's beard, he needed to live a little. "Chill, Chandler!" The alliteration was purely coincidental. "Didn't you hear the part where Jaylon cheated on Cassie? Yeah, I'd definitely say he needs his comeuppance." She glanced down at Jaylon and gave a smile, tacitly saying 'this is what you get, bub!'.. or something along those lines. Finally they had gotten him into the broom closet. Took 'em long enough! Or maybe it just felt like ages because of the circumstances.. Sigh. The Frenchman sure was afraid of getting into trouble! Quite frankly, Brynn thought Hogwarts was getting way too dull, and there was no way she was missing out on a prank like this. Thank Merlin she stumbled upon them. "Look, it's just the full body-bind curse, okay? It's not that dark magic crap." The way he was acting, he made it seem like they were killing the darn chap. "Besides, it's not like we're gonna leave him like this." With that, she turned back to her best friend. "I say we tie him up, then take off the spell and leave him locked in the closet. If no one finds him by morning, we'll leave him in the middle of the corridor and some lucky firstie will happen upon him." And BAM. Finito. Well.. then would come the imminent visit to good old Headmaster Tate. Was it warped to say that Brynn had been so bored lately that she partly welcomed the idea of expulsion? Perhaps that was taking her extravagant antics a bit too far. The girl glanced back at Montague with a grin when she caught his cleaning solution comment. "Don't give me any ideas, Mr. Clean. Next thing you know I'll have you in a tightie white tee and your head will bear resemblance to an egg." Now THAT would only occur if the Huffie decided to nark them out. Ahem. |
LOL at the Mr.Clean comments dwl Cassie tsked and continued dragging Jaylon along with Brynn. Yeah she thought he had too but boy was she fooled. She couldn't believe that of all the people in the world, she got cheated on, she just didn't understand it. She would have never cheated on him. Thinking about it only infuriated her more. " I don't know why he cheated on me! Why don't you tell me, he's of your specie after all." Woaaaaaaah, when did Chandler become Mr.Responsible? Great, when they needed him to break some rules he decided to go good >________> Horrible timing on his part. She nodded." I agree with the bestie. He totally deserves this Chandler, he brought it on himself and as Brynn said we're not going to leave him like that forever, just long enough for him to think about what he's done." She grinned at Brynn fully appreciating her having her back like this right now." Thats a lovely idea Miss Pierce. Do you want the honours or should I take it?" She chuckled." Oh it's going to make their day." She snickered. Of course him being discovered would mean them being discovered but it was well worth the punishment if they got caught anyways. Cassie had already been giggling at Chandler's muggle cleaning solution comment but by the time Brynn added the Mr. Clean bit she was roaring with laughter. Who knew being bad was so much fun. She quickly covered her mouth though, because she didn't want to draw attention to their location. " You would better cooperate Chandler I don't think she's bluffing and I don't think you'll pull off the bald look too well." She tilted her head and looked at him."Or the tight white T either." |
I DID NOT CHEAT!!!!! Well that was what Jaylon wanted to yell, if he could speak. He had thought Chandler would help him by canceling the spell Cass had put on him, but he didn't and when Brynn showed up things got worse. His only hope now was that a Professor would show up or that Chandler would actually be able to talk some sense into them, but with Cass in such a crazy and angry mood, his chances of being unfrozen was very slim. Honestly, was everyone going to just believe Cass; that he cheated without even letting him explain. This was going to be bad, he no longer cared about getting Cass to believe that he didn't cheat, but if he had to convince everyone, then maybe they should hide him in a closet and leave him there for all eternity. |
SPOILER!!: Jaylon, Cassie, Chandler, Brynn The lioness prefect Sophie Conolly had just started her patrol shift on the second floor when she heard some commotion coming from the floor above. Racing up the staris with her brown locks flying Sophie stopped when she saw the scene. One boy was limp and lying on the floor. It could only mean that somebody had cast a full body bind on him. The two girls and the boy standing around him probably had something to do with it. Their chatter and raised tones were enough for Sophie to know that they were all involved somehow. Striding over to them with her badge visible on her chest Sophie eyed them both in turn "Would somebody care to explain what is going on here? Why is that Gryffindor boy lying on the floor?" Putting her hands to hips the lioness prefect waited for an explanaition. Her patrol had started off with trouble which probably meant it would take a while to fix. |
Finlay's head was really swimming. He had no idea what was going on at all. ALl hew knew was that he really wanted to snog Neptune, and that he was really missing Jimmy. It kind of sucked. He frowned, stuffing his hands into his pocket, and he turned off the stairs, and wandered along the third floor corridor. He was just going to have a mooch around, and try and clear his head. He couldn't go back up to the common room, not yet. Not when he was probably going to bump into Neptune again. But when he got on the third floor, what he came across he didn't really want to see. Was that a gryffindor lying on the floor. Oh man. But Sophie was here. Which was good. Finlay mused, wandering along the corridor. "Whats going on here?" It didn't look good. Not at all. |
Quote:
She crossed her fingers behind her back, for Brynn and Chandler to see and was about to delve into an explanation when, lo and behold another prefect showed up. When it rained, it poured. Good thing it was only Finlay this time. (:P) Quote:
"Well...." She looked down at Jaylon and frowned."We found him like this.." technically Brynn and Chandler did find him like this, so that was not entirely a lie, was it? Nope." And we were just taking him to the hospital wing to get him checked out and stuff...you know...looking out for each other and all that." She shrugged a little but kept her fingers crossed tightly behind her back. It was definitely a good thing Jaylon could not speak at the moment, it gave them time to escape. |
Quote:
"However if that is not the case then I will escort you all to Healer Moretti and Madam Donovan to sort this out." Walking over to the boy still very much frozen on the floor Sophie pulled out her wand and said firmly"Finite!" Offering her housemate her hand to stand up she asked "Can you tell us what happened? Who cast the full-body bind on you?" |
Oh, greeeaaaat. A prefect! And Brynn's own house prefect, no less. The girl marched up to them with that shiny ol' badge of hers gleaming upon her robes. Naturally, the scene before her triggered some questions and not a moment later, the head boy approached as well. Really? Chandler must have been a bad luck charm. <__< Cassie decided to answer before anyone had a chance to, and.. unfortunately, Brynn didn't think it was the right answer. Brynn Pierce did not regret giving Jaylon a bit of trouble for cheating on her best friend, but she would regret it if she blatantly denied the act that they were caught red-handed doing. "This boy was dating my best friend, Cassie," she said, gesturing to the Huffie girl beside her. "We cast the spell on him because he cheated on her." There. A clear, definite answer.. which was true. She glanced down at Jaylon. The prefects and Head students could reprimand her all they want, but Brynn wouldn't feel any remorse for a harmless prank like this. Because Jay had cheated. This whole ordeal wasn't revenge; it was justice. |
SPOILER!!: Everyone Jaylon was sooooo releaved when he heard another voice, please let it be someone that could help him. He wished he could see who it was, but telling by her voice she had to be a prefect because she spoke like she had authority to make them stop. Awww... to bad, it looked like he wasn't going to be spending time in a closet to think about what he He felt his body relax when the spell was finally lifted and he was able to move again. Jaylon slowly sat up, his body a bit stiff from being trapped in that spell for so long. "I'll tell you alright," he said, as he accepted the girls hand, but before he said anything he throw both Cass and Brynn icy looks. "They didn't just find me like this. This crazy girl right here..." he pointed to Cass with his thumb. "casted the spell on me. First she tried to kill me with her shoe outside. It hit me right in the back of the head with the heel so hard that I started to bleed. I was heading to the hospital wing when she stormed up to me to finish the job all because I kept her shoe and made a few modifications." Oh sure, let the whole world know that he was cheater. He knew that Brynn was Cass best friend and all, but did she really have to believe everything she said. Oh well, if she wanted to believe that Jay really cheated on Cass then she could share the blame with her. He pointed to Brynn next. "And Brynn's her accomplise. They both was planning on stuffing me into a closet. Chandler was trying to talk them out of doing it and got threatened." He wasn't really sure it Chandler believe that he cheated, but maybe there was still a chance that he could talk to him and tell him what really happen. "And for your information Brynn, I did not cheat. Cass is just to stupid to realize that, she's only going by what she saw and not what really happen," he said, needed to defend himself a little. "And even if I did, it doesn't give you the right to try and teach me a lesson." |
So. None of their stories worked out. Well that was perfect. Finlay rolled his eyes, stepping a bit closer to the gang. Ahh. Good thinking Sophie. Maybe the guy on the floor would be able to tell them. "It's funny you know..." He mused, looking at Cassie, and Brynn. "You're stories don't add up..." Which made him not believe either of them. He shrugged, crossing his arms. "And anyway if he has cheated, if he hasn't it gives you no right to use a spell on him. Is that what you're going to do to any one who causes you bother when you graduate from here?" He asked, not looking best pleased. He was pretty glad that they weren't ravenclaws. "I'm very tempted to go to both of your heads of houses. I think that they would find this situation pretty interesting...." Then he turned his attention to the dude on the floor. "Now....your story I do believe." He nodded, glancing back at Cassie. "Considering I saw you at the Student Gardens. And neither of you stopped to talk to me...which is pretty bad actually..." So maybe the guy did deserve it. It was still pretty wrong though. |
Quote:
SPOILER!!: Jaylon Sophie helped the boy to his feet and then he started talking. It was the Hufflepuff who had cast the spell on him. They had not in fact find him in that state. Well part of her suspicions were true then. It had begun outside where the same Hufflpuff had hit the lion in the head with her shoe so hard he claimed he was bleeding. Sophie didn't make any notion to examine the boy's head until he had finished his story. When he was done they had most of the cards out. The second hufflepuff had tried to do the right thing and gotten threatened. Another offense which the school staff didn't think much off. Sighing a little Sophie said "At least now we have most of the cards out on the table so to speak." Now how where they going to solve the mess? Quote:

Josephina wasn't honestly sure why her feet had carried her to the third floor, except for perhaps she was off to see Lily? Yes, she never really had visited much with the school healer and that ought to change. Lily was fairly close to her age and Merlin knew she needed more friends. The brunette stopped dead in her tracks though at the sight of two of the school prefects accompanied by three students. Listening as Sophie seemed to be handling the situation and had it under control, Hadley instead took to observing the expressions of the other three and the fact that ... wait ... was that Hufflepuff girl BAREFOOT?? Merlin. She was just going to listen though and try to deduce what was happening via her observational skills. No need to feed any already burning fires. |
cant quote from my phone Cassie let out a long sigh as Brynn basically blew their cover. She was trying to keep her especially out of trouble. She knew she would feel bad deep down as Brynn got thrown into detention because of her and would feel even worse if she lost points. She threw a 'what the heck' look at Brynn but didn't say anything. Chandler though seemed to have gone quiet. When she unfroze Jaylon she knew it was all over and gave up on any thought of getting off without being punished. She listened as the boy spoke and rolled her eyes a few times through his tirade. "I am not bloody crazy you cheating git." She snapped at him. Finlay's little comments didn't make her mood any better either and quite frankly by the time both prefects were done talking she just didn't care. "Look yeah I petrified him for a bit, he's not dead, he's fine and unharmed except for the bruise he's whining about. I didn't even throw my shoe that hard. He's just a wuss." She tossed his wand back at him without warning." I'm not taking back anything I've done so throw me in detention, I don't care." She turned to her bestfriend." Brynn I'm going to my common room, that's where I'll be if anyone wants me." She threw a venomous look at Jaylon and started walking off, mumbling how much she hated him. |
Waaait. Where did Cassie think she was going? "Cassie...." Finlay shook his head, not looking impressed at all. She was definetly a hufflepuff, not brave enough to stay here and live up to her consequences. "You're not getting away this time." Because he wasn't letting her go this time. He stepped sideways slightly, blocking her path of getting away. "What you've done is attack another student, and that is not on Cassie." He'd noticed Professor Hadley behind the group, so hopefully she would kind of step in and do something about the situation. It wasn't good really. He didn't think cheating was right, but the boy clearly didn't deserved to be cursed. |
Quote:
She had realised the proessor was close but she figured the professor had better things to do, hopefully. |

But what she did know was that the violent and snappy behavior that Cassie was displaying was NOT one dignified of a Hufflepuff. Gryffindor, maybe, but not her former house. "Miss Storm," Hadley began softly, looking at the girl meaningful as she tried to figure out what was to do. Kids. She hadn't seen either the shoe-throwing or the cursing, but only the aftermath. "I am very disappointed in your lack of . . . composure. Five points from Hufflepuff." Now looking toward the two gryffindors, who were not entirely innocent either. "Three points from each of you, Misters Summers and Pierce. There is no need to ruin the peace of the corridors, especially right outside the hospital wing, with your petty arguments. Now scram, all of you, before I decide to make it fifty and stick you in the dungeons." |
James was new, he didn't know where to go or what to do. He didn't have any friends here...yet. So he really didn't know how to act around people. He only knows how to act around his friends back in America. It was different for him. He's really in a foreign country. His friends, family, best friend, crazy ex-girlfriend are on the other side of the world. Well he was happy about the whole leaving his ex-girlfriend behind because he thought she was litterally crazy. But now he had to take a break from walking because he was making zero progress. James Heywood leaned against the wall and look up at the ceiling. Why did he even come to Hogwarts. He knew that in time he would make friends but it would've been a lot easier to just come here when he was eleven so then now, at this moment he would know people and has loads of friends by now and then he would be happy right no but he just fel homsick. |
Quote:
"Walnut! YOU come back here this instant!" she shrieked chasing the calico munchkin down the hallway. The cat had, once again, peed in some unsuspecting first year's shoes in the common room and she had been chasing him all around the castle. So much for him receiving kitty counseling from Professor Macfusty. Kurumi was going to need to think of another plan of attack. The cat vanished around a corner, and Kurumi went barging on after him when... She ran into something, or someone, and found herself lying with her back to the ground. "Oooooow," she mumbled as she pushed herself off the ground. Then, her cheeks burned a deep pink and she was back up on her feet and bowing before anyone could say kneazle. "I'm so so so sososo sorry!" she squeaked. "I-I-I hope I didn't hurt you." Walnut was to blame for any injuries. Clearly. |
Quote:
Was he okay? What happened? He was insanely confused. Did the girl just bow? The next thing James knew was he was flat on the floor. When did that happen? Jay got up off the ground and shook his head. Okay, he was fine. It took a lot to take a tall kid out but this girl just had done it. He had to give her props that was pretty awesome. Well not the falling on the ground and get hit kind of awesome just plain, simply awesome, awesome. Okay he was using the word awesome way to mucho. He looked to make sure that he was alright and he was. "Hey, I'm all right. I'm not hurt...atleast I dont think I am." The American said. His Southern accent was kinda sweet and kind sounding. |
Quote:
"I-I really am sorry," she said adding one more bow. Noticing his smile, Kurumi finally accepted that he was as he said, fine. She cocked her head to the side as he spoke. It was an accent she was unfamiliar with. Then again, growing up in Japan had not exposed her to much of the world, so there really was no surprise there. "I-I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry," she said introducing herself, with another bow, before doing an slightly awkward shuffle to extend her hand for a proper Western greeting. She couldn't help but notice a hint of sadness in his eyes. Where had she put those cookies... "Are you a transfer student?" she asked eyeing his Ravenclaw robes as she searched her pockets until she found a small box containing pumpkin cookies and handed it to him. "Please, as a way for me to say sorry for knocking you over." Hey! She wasn't stuttering all that much! All those reflections in front of the mirror at night must really be helping.. |
Quote:
James cocked his head slightly to the side. Her name was kind of odd but pretty awesome at the sometime and that was pretty awesome to him because he wasn't out of the country that much but his parents were. They're been everywhere! At least he thought they have. "It's nice to meet you Kurumi. I like that name it rolls together." He laughed slighly due to nerves. "I'm James Heywood. But you can call me Jay." James smiled. |
and now I sleep :P *waves* Quote:
Then, her eyes widened when he said where he was from. "America! I have always wanted to go," she chirped clapping her hands together once. "I'm from Japan. Coming to London and Hogwarts has actually been my first time overseas." And boy was there a lot to adjust to. She smiled brighter as he accepted her cookies. "Well, then I suppose you can also think of these cookies as my official welcome to Hogwarts." Although, she wished that she had had her Ravenclaw house cookies. Those were more official. "This is my third term here and I love it here. There are so many fantastic people. I am sure you will come to like it as well." |

Beth groaned, slouched in to her bench moodily. She held the scruffy tissue to her nose, as it soaked the blood. It was pumping blood, from when she fell down the stairs an hour ago. It wasn't just her nose, she could tell her eye was swelling too, and her knees were scabbed and torn. She sniffed impatiently, feeling embarrassed. She got up for a stroll, in the hope it would help her nosebleed somehow, and kept her head low so no-one could see the black eye/ bleeding nose. The problem with doing this was, she couldn't see where she was going, and in a matter of seconds, she bumped in to someone, and fell to floor, groaning really loudly as her bruised back crashed to the hard floor. "Sorry..." She mumbled, realising blood has spurted on to the floor and on the girl too. |

Beth jumped up, feeling really embarrassed in front of the stranger. "Er- yeah. I'm, uh, really sorry. I didn't see you, I..." She trailed off. "No," she insisted. "I'm fine." She took the tissue away to prove it, but more blood gushed out. Gah. Plus it was making her feel lightheaded. "Maybe you're right..." She said reluctantly. She hated doctors or medical stuff, her cousin was killed in one. Well, she was on life support, but they shut it off, and she died. She shuddered for a moment, then returned to the present. "Thanks..." she said, not sure what she was thanking her for. She didn't want to ask the girl to come in case she didn't want to but, if she offered... |
Simon was just looking for somewhere to do Karate when he saw well blood on the third floor and then Amy was covered in blood too. "What the..." Simon started to say then looked at Amy. "Are you okay Amy?" He didn't care about the Ravenclaw, he just cared about his sometime friend or sometimes enemy Amy. |

Simon looked from Amy to the Ravenclaw, was he allowed to have some fun, just this once. "Amy you know where the hospital wing is right, you go to the dungeon and it's the first door." Simon was hopefully sending this kid to Lafay's office because that would be funny, turning to Amy. "I am glad you are okay." |
Hi, yeah, Beth, Amy nodded, I'm uh, well I think you gathered it but uh, my names um Amy she nodded, and I'm not normally so "uhmy" she nodded again, yeah, so uh lets, um, go she finished, restraining the urge to vom at the smell and sight of blood. But before she did go she slapped Simon, pathetic boy, can't you see she's hurt she glared, trick me I don't care, but when someone is losing bloody fast I don't appreciate it, Amy glared, oh and I don't appreciate you losing us so many BLOODY POINTS! She snapped at him, taking the girl away before she slapped Simon again OOC: Uh, we can't go to the wing, because both me and Simon are already there from the fire in the potions storeroom...yeahh |

"One sec..." She said, I want to try something. "Ipinsky!" She said clearly, poiting her wand to herself, and she felt her nose sort of crack, and stop bleeding. It hurt, but it helped. She wiped it one last time, then stuffed the tissues in to her satchel. She smirked as Amy slapped Simon and gave him a good clip around the ear. "Nice." She admitted, able to talk normally now. |
Ty hurried along the corridor he was late would Simon wait. "Hey Simon whats going on? I thought we were going to practice." Ty look at the crowd that had gathered not sure what was going on. |
She grinned at the girl, uh, you might want to scat, this could get, uh nasty she advised before turning back to Simon and strode over to him Oh HOW DARE ME? She snapped at him, HOW DARE ME? HOW DARE YOU, WHO TRY AND RUIN EVERYTHING WITH YOUR "JOKES" she shouted angrilly HOW DARE ME, WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING TO ME FOR EVER AND THEN SUDDENLY YOU TRY AND DOB ME AND THIS GIRL IN IT! She stopped and took deep breaths, the temper that was sliding off her tounge had been building up AND HOW DARE ME FOR TRYING TO STOP YOU FROM DOING SOMETHING STUPID. OH YEAH. STUPID ME FOR EVER BEING YOUR FRIEND! Woah. That felt good *Breathe* |

"When did I try and dob you and the girl in it?" Simon asked. "I only said where I thought the Hospital wing was?" Simon lied, okay maybe that wasn't the truth. "You don't want to do anything stupid you'd get into trouble for doing that." Simon laughed. "I came here asking if you were okay and this is the thanks I get, you aren't a good friend you know." Simon snapped. |
THIS close. THIS. Amy didn't say anything, and instead glared at him with pure pure hatred, she blinked and looked at the floor, and chewed her tounge for a few seconds, fine she muttered turning on her heels and jogging away from Simon and everyone else..well no. Just Simon |
"Simon, you go you can tell them what happen " Ty look at the girls everyone needs to just settle down. Maybe if the girls did leave it would be better. "Why is this girl yelling at you?" Simon was fond of his little jokes but he never ment to hurt anyone. "So is anyone going to tell me what happened and why these girls are covered with blood?" Looking around, what had Simon gotten him into? None of this made any sense Simon was not the cause of this that was sure he would never harm anyone. |
The standard of uniforms at this school were quite tiresome, and it was very difficult to have a sense of one's fashion. Thank goodness they weren't required all the time. Jeans and a t-shirt; that's all Damian needed to feel like he was finally comfortable in his surroundings. Still. He wouldn't be completely comfortable until he could find his way outside and onto the grounds. Preferably by the lake. His footsteps echoed down the corridor before voices floated through his ears. Sounded like a few students mingling amongst each other. Great. Damian would rather opt out of social gatherings. He did much better on his own, thank you very much. But the only way out onto the grounds was to force ... er... walk his way through this crowd. |

Come to think of it, Jay WAS really tall. Either that, or Kurumi was really short - which was very possible. She didn't realize how much she needed to look up until now. And she had knocked him over...how embarrassing. "And I am one of the shorter third years," she giggled. "T-T-There is no need for the Miss. Just Kurumi," she continued slightly waving her hands in front of her face. "And it's no problem. I bake cookies all the time. The kitchen is practically my second home." |
Jeanne walked around the castle and guess what, SHE'S LOST! Again! How can she take down notes and memorize potions in one sitting and yet not remember her way around the castle. She looked around the walls . Which floor was she again? She should have bought a Marauder's map or something, so that she wouldn't get lost that often and roam around the castle like a stray cat. |
Throughout this arguement, Beth kept her head firmly down. She resented that she was being treated like an extra character in a film, one with no lines. She scowled at the guy, Simon and then his friend too. Well, mainly Simon, she had no qualms with the other guy. "I'm not going anywhere until you apologise for being a broom headed titch!" She said to Simon, loudly but calmly. She narrowed her eyes, because when she got mad, she got really mad. She then turned to his friend. "Really bad nosebleed." She informed him irritably. "Fell down some stairs." She then noticed another guy, a fairly awkward looking one, trying to edge through. "Sorry..." She mumbled, moving out of the way, envying him, he could not be in as bad a mood as her. |
Has Zara ever been at the Third Floor Corridor? No. That's why she was here now. She was on her way down to grab a bite to eat at the Great Hall when she suddenly thought that she's never been here. So here she was now. Tada. Seeing no students around, except those in the hospital wing, she began to stretch. Why? Because of homework. STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCH. Yeah, that was a lot of stretching. Hah. Reach for toes. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAACH. Done. Easy-peasy. Day two of confirmation that Zara can really reach her toes for good equals CHECK. |
Dani was wandering along as usual- her head in a book as she pushed back her blonde hair and sighed a little as she turned the page. She was finding it hard to walk in a straight line whilst reading and soon gave up, shoving her book back into her bag before actually looking up and watching where she was going. |

As she strode down the third floor corridor, she saw Dani walking about and she sighed in relief. Finally! she 's seen someone she had been looking for. She ran towards her. "Big sis!" she called. |

"I'm glad you're doing good though, lil' sis" she smirked and pushed back her blonde hair. "How are lessons and stuff for you? I love it, it's so... different to how Beauxbatons was though" she admitted. |

Heather smiled a bit. "well...the lessons are a bit difficult...but i can get by...i just need to study more." Then she got curious. Heather doesn't know much about Beauxbatons. Cass's cousi9ns go there, but she was too shy to ask them. "How different is Beauxbatons from Hogwarts, big sis?" she asked. She had met someone who came from the said school, and has heard stuff about being prim and proper always...but, meh, she doesn't know. |
Quote:
"Yeah- I need to study more too" she sighed- "Oh... Beauxbatons is amazing... it really is different from here. It's like... like a palace" she explained with a big smile on her face- "It's slightly more refined than here... hmm, a lot more..." she smirked- "It's the perfect school... the food is definately healthier than here. There's... I dunno, it's hard to describe!" she said honestly. |
too bad...CheeseRoll who RPs Ed quit the site not too long ago. :\ Quote:
She listened closely to how Dani had described Beuxbatons and wow, she had never thought that the school itself was like that. She'd always heard negative feedback from some people...that it was too much, but the way Dani had said how the school was like...it looked wonderful. "I bet you miss it." she said. "Do you like it there better than here?" |
"Four more floors left.." Stephen had been struggling to get up to the common room since the bruise on his side was beginning to hurt. Stupid sled just had to fly from right under his bum. Seeing as he wasn't going to get upstairs anytime faster, Stephen decided he would roam the corridors on the third floor, for now. Still rubbing his bruise, Stephen began to whistle a song he played at the wedding last year. It was the one he sang with Veronica. He narrowed his eyes at himself and kept walking. But besides the bruise and the whistling, he was feeling kind of depressed. His brother, the one who had dyed his hair to make him feel part of the family, left to another continent. Stephen thought it was all his fault. "Stupid giraffe," he mumbled. But staying with Lucy for a bit made him feel a bit better about Leonard moving. The pain in his side was now betting a bit worse thinking about his brother. So Stephen just decided to lay on the floor, on his back, not really caring who sees him. But he covered his face just in case. That way no one would know it's him. |
you know who you are ^_^ Samira was roaming. She really had nothing better to do. Well, the Slytherin supposed she should start her homework, but...eh, she'll do it later. Samira smiled as she tugged at her new purple extensions Nika bought her. A smile flickered across her face as she tugged the necklace around her neck that said: FRIENDS. Nika had the other half: BEST. After rounding the corner, Samira just stood and stared at nothing. What was she suppose to do now? |

For the fourth time in the past three minutes, Ryden strode past the entrance to the Hospital Wing, peeped inside and quickly hurried on, muttering a string of curses under her breath and cradling her right hand discreetly in her left. STUPID STUPID STUPID. Groaning, and wincing as she accidentally jolted her most probably broken knuckles and wrist, the brunette sighed and slid down the wall a bit off from the entrance to the place she would NOT go to. It was silly, really. This morning she'd been SURE someone had been following her so when she's felt a light breeze on her neck she had turned around and punched the thing that was behind her full force. Only problem was that the thing turned out to the cold stone wall and the thing on her neck was nothing more than just a draft. After howling at her stupidity, she took comfort in the fact that she'd been alone in the corridor at the time and no one saw. Now, however, the noticed that her whole hand was beginning to swell and she could hardly move her fingers, let alone flex her wrist, without suffering unimaginable, annoying pain. And so, Ryden found herself this afternoon going past the Hospital Wing, berating herself for being so silly as to be scared of such a place and wincing and hopping whenever she accidentally moved her injured hand. STUPID STUPID STUPID. Ugh. Perhaps the Gryffindors did have a point. |
Reading and walking at the same time was a stupid idea. Studying in general, at times, felt stupid. The sixteen year old Gryfindor was on a mission though. Mission on avoiding a certain Ryden Ari Di Marco. And Orlando had several reasons to back up this 'approved by brain' mission. 1: She punched him constantly. 2: Their last meeting had him grumbling and mumbling more than necessary. 3: The meeting before the last meeting still had him confused as he pretended to not think about it but was thinking about it anyway. Hence, Orlando Renaldi was avoiding all the places where he had ended up meeting Ryden. That included the Library - it was sadly perhaps forever banned from his go to places cause of their meeting there before Christmas break. The hand holding, the arm leaning - ORLANDO DID NOT WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT, OKAY? But. Fate was not on his side. The moment, his eyes left the pages he was trying to read and he looked up - she was there. Right in front of him, well not technically - she was a little on the left, leaning against the wall next to the hospital wing. Hearing her wince, Lando blurted out "What's wrong?" before he could stop himself. |
Oh, this was STUPID. She should just go in, pretend like she was at home or something, get her hand fixed and come back out, all in less than five minutes. How bad could it be, really? Looking down at her hand, she bit her lip. Perhaps it was worse than her usual injuries? After all, SHE hadn't been able to shake off the pain and Ryden was an EXPERT on that. ACK. Perhaps she should tell Father to get someone to come to Hogwarts especially? She'd probably be able to afford it herself, so that meant she didn't even need to get Father involved. THEN, the brunette would never have to set foot in that horrid, bloody Hospital Wing. EVER. Jumping as she heard a voice, for she had been sure she was alone in the corridor, Ryden lifted her eyes and as soon as her brain registered that she KNEW this voice, her eyes met his. Koala Boy. Orlando Renaldi. HIM. Oh, come ON. It wasn't bad enough that her hand was swelling to twice its normal size, but Koala Boy had to be here to see it too?! Cruel. But anyways, he'd asked what was wrong, right? Immediately, her eyes narrowed. Flashes of their last meeting ran through her mind and she felt the need to fist her injured hand and punch the wall again. Wordlessly, she carefully raised the sickly yellow, bloated thing for him to see, then shrugged. "You Gryffindors managed to finally curse me, that's what. So thanks, Koala Boy, but I don't need your concern," she spat, then looked back down at her hand. He could go now. |
And this was what he was trying to avoid. Ryden's mood swings and her snappy attitude - which he simply could not understand why he deserved. Frustration was slowly building inside Orlando too. That too surprised him, because he hardly got frustrated that easily. Some part of his brain did claim that he was feeling frustrated this easily due to the many other things that Ryden was related to. He refused to acknowledge that claim though. He frowned, snapping his book close and crossing his arms across his chest. "Really Ryden? Really?" He honestly could not believe her. HOW could she end up blaming him for everything? "Are you sure, it wasn't because of your constant need to hate everyone and find reasons to cause yourself damage?" the older boy asked, annoyed. "Oh of course you don't need my concern. I am sure there are many other who would worry about you. Oh wait. There is no one." Orlando shocked himself even with his sarcastic tone. He did not understand how could one girl cause him to feel so testy. Why wouldn't she simply realize that he got worried about her. Urgh. Marching closer to her, his hands landed on his waist before he looked down on her and demanded: "Ryden Di Marco, tell me this instant, what is wrong?" Last time, she had protested against him - today he would not leave until he had made sure she was okay. |
Quote:
|
And yet he was still not leaving. Ryden held back the urge to literally shoo Koala Boy away, mainly because you can't say "shoo" without a hand motion, and her hand was not going to be doing any "motion" for the time being. Ugh. Managing to stop her injured lump of a hand from fisting instinctively, the brunette remained quietly staring down until she registered what Koala Boy was actually saying. Yes, REALLY. Silly boy. Ryden was just about to TELL him how silly he was, and that he was not welcome in this bit of the corridor where she was, when he CONTINUED to talk and she was silenced. HE DID NOT JUST. "I do NOT have ANY SUCH NEED, you stupid boy," she began once AGAIN, but then he went off talking again, and this time she did not get angry. Because, for HIM to say those things... It was like the roles were reversed and HE had just punched her. Except that it was much worse than that. Looking down at the floor, she blinked rapidly and tried to get rid of the sudden inability to breathe. THIS was why Ryden never shared things with people. THIS was why she didn't have a best friend. THIS was why she didn't have any friends at all, and was fine with it. THIS was the reason. Because you couldn't count on people. You think they're ok, they seem really nice and have pretty names and put up with you but then, when you least expect it, they just drop their acts and... and HIT YOU WHERE IT HURTS MOST. "Yes, you're right, there IS no one. No one at all. That's because I don't NEED anyone, ok? I can manage on my own just fine, I've been doing it for LONG before you waltzed into my life with your Koala Dog and your Koalaness and YOU... So just get lost and don't EVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN," Ryden yelled, in her fury forgetting about her hand which was why she followed her instinct, raised it and fisted it before going as white as sheet as the pain registered in her head. Noting dimly that he had said something and was now much closer to her, the brunette took a shaky step away and bit her lip HARD to keep from crying out, cradling the lumpy, throbbing thing close to her chest. The INSTANT she was better, she'd tell Aunt Lea that she was coming back to her house. Ryden was NOT staying here. |
Quote:
'I just finished my last class for the day. I am tired and starving right now, although it wasn't a particularly intense day. But I just had Divination and that class always makes me sleepy and hungry.' she chuckled. 'However, I think it's an interesting class. Do you like it? Which is your favourite?' |
Orlando shook his head. He had not meant what he said - he had just wanted to make her understand that there was someone who was worried over. She obviously never understood that when he said it politely. So he had tried it her way but that was not working either. He watched her lash out on him, yelling and possibly ready to throw punches but that never happened. He bit the inside of his cheek. Girls were not THIS much confusing. They confused him with their tactics but Ryden was the QUEEN in leaving him confused, worried and frustrated at the same time. She had that power. Perhaps it was time to consult KT. waltzed into my life with your Koala Dog and your Koalaness What was that suppose to mean? Orlando's brow rose and HE looked at her in a funny way. Her speech though threatening, still managed to leave him determined to stay. Which was a weird reaction, he believed. He should be leaving but he wanted to stay. Bicker more perhaps but force himself in her life anyway. Thoughts, yet again, confusing him - Orlando concentrated more on his words that came out his mouth next. "But I am here. WHY can't you understand - " His words got cut shot, when he noticed her getting pale, her expression in pain. His heart beat rose a little and he bend down, to her level. "Please tell me, what's wrong Ryden?" he pleaded, his tough guy act crashing down. But of course, Ryden was Ryden. Stubborn. So so stubborn. "Ryden Di Marco, tell me what's wrong or I am throwing over my shoulder and taking you inside the hospital wing!" |
It hurt. It hadn't hurt so bad in YEARS. It must be broken. Stupid fist. HA! There we go - she was fist girl, wasn't she? According to the boy WHO SHOULD BE LEAVING, she was Fist Girl. But if Fist Girl's fist was broken, what did that make her? Yep, NOT HIS PROBLEM. So he should just go and forget about fist girl because she no longer existed. Fighting against a whimper that threatened to escape her pursed lips, Ryden blinked as she realised that Koala Boy was still here and SHOUTING AT HER. Oh, wait, not shouting. Asking her how she was. BLOODY HELL. Didn't he get the message?! She WANTED to be alone, needed to be alone. People shouldn't be allowed to see her like this. Her whole right arm from wrist down was broken. Her PUNCHING arm. Closing her eyes, she took a shaky breath then opened them again to find Koala Boy right in front of her face. Crap. He wasn't allowed to be so close. HE WASN'T ALLOWED. It was HER space. That close, who knew the sort of things he could see? Opening her mouth to yell at him again, she was startled silent by his threat. "You would NOT." He wouldn't. HE COULDN'T. She'd break her OTHER hand on his face first. But... Eyeing him while keeping her hand securely tucked in her chest, Ryden had to admit that he looked pretty serious. What happened to the goofy boy with the impossibly happy dog and general cutene- RYDEN DI MARCO. YOU SHALL NOT THINK OF HIM IN THIS MANNER. . . . But he'd used her full name. And she'd told him things... Things that no one else knew. And he's just thrown them in your face! a little voice told her, but her doubt was growing. Why would he still be here? Seemed a little bit extreme, even for a Gryffindor. Oh, FINE. "I punched the wall and broke my wrist and knuckles. Quite possibly a few fingers, ok? NOW can you give it a rest?" |
You would NOT Orlando had to force himself from grinning. She looked scared. Which was certainly a new sight for him - his worry for her did not waver though. He gave her a stern look, making sure she knew he would INDEED pick her up and take her into the hospital wing if she did not spill. But it seemed, she was ready to take no risks and told him what was wrong anyway. It should have been obvious to him really. How could he not notice her cradling her hand securely close to her chest. "Oh Ryden." he sighed, his hand, a little hesitantly, moving forward to carefully take hers. "And why are you not going inside to get it fixed?" he asked, his voice low. Now that he knew her injury - Orlando being Orlando could not resist wanting to be as delicate with her as possible. He felt sad that her hand .. her small, adorable hand - that he was so fond of, for some reason - was hurting so bad. "Please let's go inside." |
Ryden's eyes widened as his hand inched closer to her and she instinctively pulled back away from him, only to realise that the wall was behind her. Erm. He was too close. What was WITH him today? First he'd looked like he was ACTUALLY going to hoist her over his shoulder or something, and now with the invasion of her privacy bubble... Something was different with Koala Boy today. Plus the way he'd said her name just then. Perhaps he wasn't Koala Boy. Perhaps this was Orlando. BUT AT ANY RATE, he should be leaving because the throbbing in her hand was getting worse and whoever he was didn't need to see her like this. No sir. Why was she not going inside? WHY WAS SHE NOT GOING INSIDE?! BECAUSE IT WAS THE BLOODY HOSPITAL WING, IDIOT. The brunette shook her head violently, sticking out her chin stubbornly as her eyes went to the entrance of the Hospital Wing, where there was blood and medicine and icky stuff. "How about we don't go inside. It..." she paused, then very slowly tried to close her hand. Whitening even further but refusing to show how painful it was, Ryden tried to give a shaky laugh. "See? No pain, all good. We can go," she added, lowering her hand to her side so that he wouldn't see the swollen lump it was becoming and motioned with her left hand for him to go down the corridor, AWAY from the Hospital Wing. She hadn't been going to go in anyways, so there was no point to dwindle about. She'd just take another potion and hope for the best. It usually worked out anyway. Oh, but the PAIN. Squeezing her eyes tightly shut, the brunette tried to fight off the shaky feeling that had descended over and opened them again, startled to find that her vision was a little hazy. "All good." Yep yep, she was FINE. Anything to make him go and not see her like this. |
But of course. Ryden was stubborn as ever. She would not go to the hospital wing. Someone needed to hand Orlando a manual that would guide him on how to deal with Ryden, it seemed. He watched in horror, when she tried to persuade him that she was fine and didn't need to go to the hospital wing. Her face had quite literally turned white - his own breathing got a little shaken - Orlando was convinced she would wince now, he would grab her then and take her inside. Yes. But she didn't. So stubborn to show she was strong. The lump on her hand was visible, Orlando honestly did not understand why she would make her go through something like this and in turn have him through it as well. Determined to convince her, no matter what it took, Orlando tried again. "I would be there, Ryden. I would stay by your side - I promise, we don't have to stay inside for long." he spoke softly, his hand reaching to grab her good hand. He watched her try to endure the pain more and Orlando wanted to seriously pick her up and take her inside. His eyes caught her unfocused ones and he panicked a little. "I am going to pick you up now" he announced, as a threat and a last resort. Either she could listen to him or he would have to pick her up for sure. |

"Divination tends to have that effect on people," said Samira in agreement. "Personally, I think it's actually kind of cool. I just don't...believe in it. Like, I don't think our futures are planned out like that or anything." It was actually kind of phony. As if someone could know what was coming. But Samira thought it was interesting and entertaining nevertheless. Samira paused for a moment as she thought over the question. "Well...I would say Defense Against the Dark Arts, but since the Ministry is being stupid, classes this year are-well-we don't even have an actual class this year," rambled Samira, before stopping in the middle of her speech. "So I guess it would have to be Potions. What about you?" |
WHY DID IT HAVE TO HURT SO MUCH?! Bloody hell. Glowering at her hand with as much force as she could muster at the moment, Ryden tried not to meet the taller boy's gaze as he said that he'd come in with her. She knew she was being moronic - it was a HEALING place. Nothing to be afraid of in there. Why was it that the only place she had fear was the one place that was almost absolutely safe? Honestly, she was screwed up. Sighing, she met his gaze and found that the lightheaded feeling was slowly ebbing away, to her relief. Good. At his next words however, Ryden scowled. "You are NOT going to pick me up, carry me anywhere or do anything that will involve you lifting me so that my feet are not touching the ground. Understood?" she growled, serious despite the throbbing pain. It just made her feel even smaller when she was picked up - the only place she LIKED the feeling was on a broom and last time she'd checked, Koala Boy was a BOY and not a piece of wood. "I just don't like hospitals, ok?" she added quietly, looking down at the stone floor. The smell of the blood made her nauseous, the act of taking medicine terrified her and people poking her with anything from syringes to wands was just unbearable. Could the Healer perhaps come out? >__< |

'I was looking forward to DADA.' the firstie sighed. 'What were lessons like last year?' she wondered. 'I like Potions too. But my favourite by far is History of Magic.' the little lioness replied. 'It's weird how most Slytherins both enjoy and are good at Potions.' she noticed. |
Quote:
The Slytherin gave the Gryffindor a sympathetic and understanding look. "I know what you mean. Sorry you didn't get to experience a real lesson...maybe next year." Hopefully next year. Samira was not going to settle for another abysmal year because of their excuse of DADA. "Last year DADA was pretty good. We actually had lessons." Samira shrugged and repeated, "But maybe next year." The girl mulled over Ari's comment. "Yeah, I suppose you're right...I think it may have to do with Lafay..." The Head of Slytherin House tended to favor her own students, and was a little harsher with others. Or maybe the other students were just intimidated by her. |
Quote:
'I hope so. I think DADA and Transfiguration are very important, and we really need someone competent to be teaching them.' Ariadne nodded. 'I don't know...I'm not intimidated by Lafay, I quite like her. At least I didn't get into any trouble with her...yet.' the girl grinned mischeviously. |
Orlando debated really strongly in his head. He had to pick her up. With Ryden, he always had to take extreme measures - she was difficult like that. He was already so close to her. And her body, his eyes scanned a little - she would be easy to carry as well. Not that, he had ever carried anybody before. Except for Aunt Marilyn - who had fainted at a dinner. At that time too, he had not personally volunteered to pick her up. It was just that she had been standing next to him, when she fainted - well she fainted on him, to be correct - so he had to pick her up. He frowned, when she proceeded to order him even when in pain. "If you are not going inside with me, I indeed am picking you up. And don't take my threat lightly because I will do it" he said it sternly, trying to sound as convincing as he could. At her last statement, Orlando's pretend-stern face softened. She didn't like hospitals. She was just so unpredictable. Fearless, give-you-a-fist-on-your-nose Ryden was afraid of hospitals. He wanted to shake his head at smile widely .. for some reason. Was she honestly like this or she pretended? "Ryden. Please. Let me take you inside, you could just keep on looking at me - and I'll keep on talking to you, you won't even know we are inside. If we don't fix your hand soon, it will get worse and then you won't be able to punch me" he said, looking down at her broken hand. "Just like you can't punch me now, when I tell you that your small hands are adorable. And I really like them." he whispered, adding the last part a bit unexpectedly. |
