He knew something was always missing with him when she was not his. He was incomplete and his life did not look like it was worth living. But now, those thoughts were slowly leaving him. So, he just enjoyed her presence and all the gooness that had brought to him. He did not want to let her go in case his heart would start to feel fainful again.
He was afraid of letting her go in case Riley should appear out of nowhere and pull her away from him.
She would've stayed like that forever if she could, not wanting to part and... also because he was blocking a good amount of cold air from coming at her, but just having him close again was enough to bring back the warmth she usually felt. Forget the weather, she had Josh. Her own warm sun.
Sighing quietly, a small smile appeared on her lips as they both stood there, but after a moment, or a lifetime...she couldn't tell the difference, she pulled back, only to move closer again. She may have forgotten the coldness before, but the sudden chill when she wasn't close to him could only remind her they were outside.
"Josh..." she muttered, hoping he heard over the crowd. Opening her mouth to continue, a sudden shiver had her words lost. Brr. "Can we go somewhere else?"
Not exactly what she had in mind to say, but she'd be able to speak clearly without the inevitable stuttering and shivering that would soon show up if they were someplace warmer.
Marie made her way into the stands rather late for the match but she didn't really care. She almost didn't even come to the game at all today anyway. But here she was, entering the stands just getting ready to climb to the top and look for her friends when she happened to look at the scoreboard.
Well, it seems there's no reason to climb to the top since the game is over. Too bad the 'Claws won. She would have preferred seeing the lions win this one. Oh well, whatever. She really didn't care either way since neither of the teams were her house team.
Not quite ready to head back to the castle she sat in the first empty seat she found... near the bottom of the stands. Maybe she would see her friends as they were leaving.
*Waiting by the castle doors for Marie for longer than he wanted Matty went out to look for her. Walking out to the pitch he went into the stands and soon found who he was looking for.*
"Hey you. Sorry I'm late, over slept... again. My alarm didn't go off."
*Matty said with a wink and a laugh.*
"You okay?"

Marie was watching the action out on the pitch so she didn't notice when Matty walked in. Was Carter hurt? Why was he laying there on the ground like that? Man, she missed a lot by not getting to the game before it was over.
What? Someone's alarm didn't go off? Looking up she got a HUGE smile on her face and totally forgot about what was going on out on the pitch. "Hey yourself." She said grabbing Matty's hand and pulling him onto the bench with her. "My alarm didn't go off either. I just got out here a few minutes ago... I missed the whole match." Putting an arm around him she leaned over and kissed his cheek. "We really should do something about those alarms of ours."
"Yeah... we really should look into that."
*Matty said with a laugh. Putting an arm around her as well he kissed the top of her head then turned to the pitch.*
"Bloody hell... what happened to lion boy?"

Oh good... she hadn't frightened off any students-- this time. Lucky. Seren couldn't help but wonder what was on Treyen's mind. He had been so quite throughout the whole game- except for when he was being yelled at...
Still whatever it was, it couldn't be too bad. He did smile after all.
Pulling her robes tight around her Seren gazed out onto the pitch... the players were landing and leaving the pitch now. Perhaps she should do the same. Go and get some of that chamomile tea she had been dreaming about. "See you all later", she said as she turned and departed.
Presley was on her feet, she couldn't sit right now. Ravenclaw was WINNING! They would win, Pres was sure of it. GO EAGLES!!!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.
" Well, you are rooting loudly today" Wiliam told Presley.

"Valuable?! If you consider yourself valuable...," he said, and started to walk away from his seat, which will only bring him close to Lola, but that was the only way out, she was blocking it. AND HE ROLLED HIS EYES. Dramatically too, because she was meant to see that.
Okay. Guess what? He was going to TRY and ignore what Lola had said, because he wasn't making Kurumi fail, Kurumi wasn't even failing! And she had performed admirably in that game. Oh, that's right. The Seekers had spotted the Snitch and fell to the ground. GREAT. He hated that, because they could've gotten hurt. And Ravenclaw had won.
Ellie must be incredibly happy, no?
Wait. Lola had been considering him a FRIEND?! EXACTLY HOW WAS THIS SOME SORT OF FRIENDSHIP!? Lola was clearly delusional. Then he felt her hand on his cheek...did she...did she just slap him? LIKE, FOR REAL? If there was something beyond glaring, then that's what could be seen on the young Lockhart's face, and he may have broken his wand as he decided it was best not to hex her in front of Bentley and held it too tight in his hand.
He blinked. Because he understood NOTHING of what was going on, and then walked towards her. Sure, he could've let things go, Lola was clearly crazy, but he just couldn't. Maybe Quidditch had put him in a terrible mood, too. He grabbed her by the arm and whispered in her ear, "Just be glad you're girl, Lola Jones, and don't do that again," he said, before finally releasing her into the bench. If she got hurt, he didn't care. Kurumi wasn't going to save her two times.
The boy straightened out his jacket and walked out the Stands. Not even bothering on glaring at Lola as he climbed down.
He felt sorry for Cassie, though, but she could still follow him. Though, he didn't feel like talking to anyone at the moment.
Lola was still lying down in that awkward fetal position when she got the attitude from Train Lockhart. SERIOUSLY?! It was all his fault! YES! BLAME HIM FOR EVERYTHING. "What? What did you say?!" Her mouth was opened and she quickly went on her knees, pointing a finger as if it was her wand ready to attack. Kurumi shouldn't have saved her?! NO! The boy obviously didn't know what he was saying and her own temper was rising from his cover-up plan.
"Take that back!"
She gasped.
"I AM VALUBALE."
She gasped again.
"DON'T YOU DARE ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME."
WHY WAS HE GRABBING HER ARM! Lola gasped the third and last time. "GET--OFF!" He finally did release her but she stumbled back into the bench, her eyes raging with temper. No. No. No. This did not just happen. Was she even Lola Jones anymore? That grubby friendship personality was gone, and so, the fourth-year Slytherin snatched her green bob from her robes and put on the royal diva crown.
She unleashed Velma Warfield.
"YOU WILL NOT TOUCH ME EVER AGAIN, LOCKHART. Filthy filthy FILTHY! Oh, like you're so chivalrous OH SURE--NO! I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS. Professor? Professor?!" A haughty smirk formed out of her mouth, her pompous personality revealing itself from the shadows, "You watch your back Train Lockhart! YOU THINK YOU'RE SO TOUGH?! I'll burn you--BOIL YOU IN MY CAULDRON I WILL!" She was huffing, rubbing her arm where that boy had touched it. She stormed off in the other direction, deciding to leave the jar of cookies on the stands and the banner sprawled on the ground. The girl took off her high heels in order to walk off faster to the castle, shaking her head and muttering how disgusting boys were and shoving people that were in her way, rolling her eyes every five seconds.

With his arm around her she snuggled in close to him to try and warm up a little bit. "I'm not really sure. I missed all the action. All I know is he lifted his shirt then fell to the ground." She wasn't going to get too worked up over it though. She had seen him in a lot worse shape and he ended up bring just fine. She was sure he would be fine this time too.
*Seeing her shiver a bit he smiled and rubbed her shoulder to warm her up.*
"Another reason I was late-..."
*He then pulled out a thermos of hot chocolate.*
"-I was making you this. Well I didn't really make it, the house elves in the kitchen did. But I picked it up for you in case you were out here."
*Getting her a cup he handed it over to her.*
"Better?"
She scooted over a little to give Evelyn more room to squeeze in and just then she heard the very excited voice of her dear, favorite student.
Kimber rose up from her seat just long enough to wave frantically herself. "HEY, LEX!!!" she shouted back. She considered waving her up but spotted Salander and sat back down.
Lexi bounced and waved and bounced some more! Kimber was her favoritest person EVAH. Well... besides Salander on MOST days. Hehe. She made a motion letting her HoH know that she would meet her after the match and have a cuppa... one of Kimber's special cuppas. Mhm.

It took him a second to react because he was more concerned with the two young ones sprawled on the icy grass. Slowly he started to clap for the Claws "Congratulations Eagles!" he hollered out clapping "Great job Ellie!" Then he finally saw the Gryffindor brunette stand up. Relief washed over him when he realized the little Gryff was ok, although he can totally read the disappointment in her body language "Awesome game Kurumi!" he called out to his Cookie!Princess. Yeah the Lions may not have won, but she did an fantastic job nonetheless.
"I am quite sure the little cub will definitely get better. She is amazing at soaking up whatever material is put in front of her. Flying comes naturally to some, but it can be learned," she said matter of factly.
Lexi giggled as Sal kissed her nose and then shook her head. "No. I kept promising flying lessons, but I have been unable to do so thus far thanks to other obligations." Like Sal, for instance. HEHHEHE. GIGGLES FOR LIFE! Lexi leaned forward and gave him an eskimo kissy for that. Heheh.
What the bloody hell!
Lexi shielded her face as the cookie crumbs began to fall. Stupid Snakes.
Yeah....
Ravenclaw won. Big surprise.
Lexi looked to Sal as he shouted and such and smiled. "You're really sweet, love. Being so kind to both houses like that." You get KISSES for that. Mhm.

Aww, he brought her hot chocolate.
"Thanks. You're always looking out for me me." She said leaning over and giving him another kiss. "I have the sweetest boyfriend ever." Taking the hot chocolate she held it between both hands enjoying the warmth of the cup before she took a sip of it. Ahh, warmth all the way to her toes. "Yes, much better." Slipping her arm back around him she snuggled close to him as she continued sipping on the hot chocolate.
Nothing like a cup of hot chocolate and a little snuggle time to warm a girl up.
*A big smile came to him when she said he had made things better. Pulling out a cup for himself he took a sip of hot chocolate as well. Hmmm nice and warm. After a few minutes he looked around.*

Looking out at the pitch and seeing that all the players were gone Marie then looked around the stands. Hmm, most everyone was gone from there too. "Yeah, lets go inside and find someplace warm." It was times like this that she wished they were in the same house so they could relax together in their common room. But that was something that would never happen... unless... "I have an idea." Finishing her hot chocolate she stood up and grabbed his hand. "Come on, I want to show you something."
*A little puzzled Matty let her grab his hand and drag him away from the stands. He knew that look in her eyes and he was a little worried.*
"Oh no... what have you got in mind?"
William goes to the stands. He hopes Gryffindor will win. He hopes his girlfreind Katelynn will come and watch the game with him. Hopefully his friend Sarah and his cousin Victoria will be here too.
Conan pulled his scarf tighter round his throat. He was wearing one less item of clothing today. He didn't require his second thermal vest. This was good news. He peered out from between the scarf and his hat, looking to see if there was anyone to sit with. So far he knew noone. Well his two best friends were playing. Against each other as well. Scary. He was cheering for both. Secretly Treyen a bit more, but he liked both of them.

Another Quidditch Match was nearing, which Professor Hadley bundled up in her winter robes but no scarf this time, hoping to Merlin that she'd be able to watch the whole time. After all, several of her students were rumored to be playing this time; one of which was supposed to help her get over her flying fears within the next month, hopefully. No bludgers to the head or attack of the seekers and she would be okay. Right?

Conan stiffened when someone spoke. To him? Why would someone speak to the padded out snowman? He turned to see an adult. CRAZY. He smiled, through the scarf. "A little," he mumbled, muffled by the scarf. "I don't really follow quidditch." That was an understatement. He didn't follow it at all.
"I am Conan," he smiled, offering his gloved hand to the woman. He would hopefully find out who she was, cos then he could run, if she was scary.

She was running a little later than usual... owing to the fact that it took her some time to find the hat she had been looking for. But she found it, dusted it off and donned it. The black witches hat sprouted a lovley selection of eagles feathers clasped beneath a sapphire encrusted buckle. Very appropriate for such an occasion. She did not sport her Ravenclaw scarf, she had temporarily misplaced it, no dount she would find it soon enough, but her navy blue robes announced her loyalities for the match.
Seren only hoped that it would be a less... violent game this time round, though she had her sneaking suspicions that Master Blunt wasn't about to take a soft approach at beating.

Yup, she had the sneaking suspicions that she would be entirely lost with what was happening during the match, which was only further confirmed by the words of the little fellow next to her: I don't really follow quidditch. Well she would just to have to imagine young Ellie sitting next to her, directing her as to every move. "Me neither." She smiled at the young fellow. "But I'm making an attempt at sorting it out."
Conan, eh? Taking his gloved hand in hers, she shook it. "Nice to meet you, Conan. I'm Professor Hadley. I teach the Arithmancy lessons here." Though he might have known the latter bit from her name, she figured she'd add it just in case.

Since she hated the wind, Evelyn kept her hair up in a messy bun, a few tendrils of hair falling down in curls, and she wore her Slytherin scarf so they'd STAY down and not fly up in her face. Meh, this wasn't her favorite time of year. Yet, spotting a certain Professor as she made her way in the stands, Evelyn ignored EVERYONE ELSE, and plopped herself right by the woman with a rather loud sigh.

How exciting!
Pulling out her specially prepared thermos of peppermint tea from an inner pocket of her robes-- it had kept her nice and warm too-- she hoped that this time she wouldn't lose her voice by the end of the match... but that was almost inevitable.

Hearing a loud sigh on her other side, Fina turned to see that the young sixth year, Evelyn Flores had joined her. OH! Evelyn played quidditch as of last year! She could explain stuff to her if she got lost!
"Hello Evelyn," Fina said simply, noticing the expression. "Er. Everything okay?"

And then there was Seren calling across the stands. "No problem and thanks! You too!" Because what Seren might not realize was that she was a full-blown RavenPuff. Sure house-wise, she might have been sorted into Hufflepuff, but she could have just have easily been in Ravenclaw, not to mention came from a rather long line of Eagles.
So basically, she'd be content with a win from either house.
Oh look! There was Max below preparing the troops teams for flight. Straining to see, she squinted off in hopes of catching a glimpse of Treyen or Ellie.

Damien couldn't help but feel slightly intimidated as he made his way through the stands to find a desireable place to watch the match. Ness was in the Common Room with some sort of illness, so that left just him to watch by himself. He hadn't really thought of looking for any of the handful of people he knew ... well one of them was going to be out there playing any moment.
Zipping up his leather jacket and pulling on his woll gloves, Damien found a spo that seemed to have a good view of the pitch. He looked around him to see groups of students talking amongst themselves.
The day has come. Two teams, two houses. ONE SNITCH!!!!!!!! Eino was very excited for this match and he had promised his friend, Hugo, he would be there supporting the team. He was wearing his usual Ravenclaw gear, and in addition to that he had charmed his face bronze and glued blue feathers on it. He also had a beak. The feathers were charmed owl feathers but who would know the difference? So was the beak. He had taken it from a dead owl he found several days ago and enlarged it. He had tried to make it look more eagle-like, but alas, it still resembled an owl's.

"Hello, Professor!" He said when he noticed her. Hopefully his special attire did didn't frighten her. The tea she was drinking reminded him he had forgotten to bring snacks, then again he couldn't eat with that beak on. "Who are you rooting for?" He had always sensed a Ravenclaw in her, but Professors liked everyone and everything, so it was hard to tell.
