Aurora stared at the pitch. What..? What? WHAT? WHAT WHAT WHAT?!?!?! "NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!" she yelled. "IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! YOU HAD IT RIGHT IN YOUR HAND!" She fell into her seat. "Oh no!" They had lost their first match. Something not to tell her brother. |
It all seemed to happen so fast... and yet so slow- as if it happened in slow motion. Still leaning forward, eagerly trying to get a clearer view of the game- a slightly closer view of the game, Seren gripped the edge of the stand. Even after hurrying to the grounds to secure a seat in the front row, she hadn't actually made use of the seat, though the positioning was perfect. The wind whipped her blonde waves about her shoulders, a few strands of hair temporarily obscuring her vision. She swatted her hair away, desperately trying to keep her eyes on the seekers. And then......... The Hufflepuff caught the snitch! HUFFLEPUFF CAUGHT THE SNITCH! HUFFLEPUFF WON! Oh that was thrilling, they had put up a good fight. They deserved it, that much was certain. Though she couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy for the snakes, they played extremely well. Just unfortunate. "Wooooo Hufflepuff!!!" cheered Seren, soaking up the atmosphere in the stands. It was euphoric. She would have to congratulate them later... in person. |
Iris was on her feet, watching the seekers. She'd completely forgotten about everything else that was going on. "NOOO!!! No!! NO!!" Sitting down on the bench, Iris scrunched her face up in frustration. EVERY YEAR. Every year, the Badgers manage to beat them by the TEENIEST bit of luck!! It was so very irritating. Looking at Aurora, Iris sighed. "Ah well... There's no point stressing about it. We can still win the cup. We WILL win the cup. Aaron'll make sure of it!" Talking of whom... Iris stood up and leant against the side of the stands, looking for her boyfriend in amongst all the players. He... He.. He looked HURT! She could see the guilty bludger flying off. "I'll... I'll see you later... Aurora." She said, her eyes still focused on her boyfriend. Standing up, the Head Girl climbed over the empty seats around her, nudging and pushing her way through the students who were already getting up and leaving the stands. She wasn't TOO worried about Aaron. He'd been hit by bludgers before... It was more the sulking about the losing that she was worrying about. |

"Alright, see you later, I'm off too." she stood up and made her way back to the castle. She walked quickly from her seat and away from the stands, untying the ribbons from her hair. She didn't know what to do with them, it's not as if she ever actually wore her hair up. Oh well, she had them now, she could use them make a T-shirt or something for the next match. Which they would win. She bundled them up with her flag and thrust them into her pockets. |
Presley didn't know who she was cheering for. All she knew was that this was the first match of the year, and she loved Quidditch. She could really care less who won out of Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Either would be great, and she sat right between the two sides, in nuetral colors, and cheered for both. |

Evelyn was cold, and tired, but mostly she was cold. Why was she cold? Because she had the rather She'd heard that he wasn't playing today, however, she'd still be cheering for him; hence her outfit. Those muggle girls wore these outfits, didn't they? Josh knew about the muggle world so perhaps he'd know what all this was. If anyone dared to LOOK like they were going to laugh, smirk, or some other expression or noise that she didn't like...she'd get Marie to punch them. Seriously. For now, she'd just sit and wait for the game to start, and feeling really, really really cold, with a scowl on her face. |
Jonathan entered the stands. There is an upcoming game right? --- Or not. He just felt like wanting to just come up and sit down and just feel the super cold breeze. Not the ideal weather for Quidditch players but come one, quidditch is the most awesome game there is. Nothing compares it to muggle sports. He took a seat on and sat comfortably. This is nice. Really nice. Nothing is more comfortable than being in your own clothes--- no uniforms, staring at the blank, rigid sky and the wide space that will soon be filled by quidditch players. He can't wait which match there will be. |
Making her way down to the Quidditch Pitch for the second time this term, Seren marched herself up to the stands where she got herself a prime seat in the front row. This was the game she had been looking forward to. When her Mighty Eagles took on the Lions. Yes, this game was going to bring out the best and the worst of Seren, both at the same time! She was enthusiastically clad in robes of royal blue with her old-- now retro-chic Ravenclaw scarf from her time at Hogwarts, granted it was faded and stained in some places, but it meant the world to her. Peering around the stands she waited for the other students and staff to arrive. Hopefully she wouldn't scare them off with her cheering today. All attempts at professionalism would probably be forgotten. |
Penny entered the stand and immediately went to sit in the seats exactly half way down the pitch in the front row.... She was only interested because her team (hufflepuff) would be playing both of these teams at some stage through the year - and she really wanted to see what the competition was like... Her best friend was in gryffindor, so Penny supposed she should support them... but she didn't much care either way !! |

Nika's smile faded slightly as she noticed who this was. It was her herbology professor!? Are they even allowed to chose sides? Nika made sure to go and sit right by her so that she'd be able to drown out any cheering for Ravenclaw with cheers for Gryffindor. She made her way through the stands and plopped herself right by her professor making sure to hold her sign high in the air even though the match hasn't even started yet. "Hello Professor." She said as sweetly as she could. She didn't want to be rude and get any points taken away, but she wasn't going to let the Ravenclaws out cheer the awesome Gryffindors. They won the Quidditch cup last term so it's only fair that they move over and give Gryffindors a shot. |
Nika too. The whole way to the Pitch had been fairly awesome as he accompanied Kurumi to her first game...until she brought up the fact that Gryffindor wasn't playing Slytherin today...but it was playing Ravenclaw. So, he had NOT been expecting that. He'd got up this morning ready to support Gryffindor at all cause, and now he was completely torn as to who he should be supporting. Well, no, he supported them BOTH, and hoped to dear Gilderoy that none of his favorite persons would get hurt. None. Because he couldn't decide between one or the other. Kurumi didn't help matters when she gave him the cupcake either. Text Cut: EVELYN, as cheerleader. Amazingly enough, the sight of scary Evelyn in a cheer-leading outfit brought a smile to his face, a smile that she failed to see because he looked away. Treyen made sure to look away. But that was proof enough that Slytherin wasn't playing. Quote:
Treyen eyed the little box that contained his cupcake and sighed. Yes, it was best for him to stay, otherwise, he'll spend the time worrying in the Castle, like Neptune had done in the past. He caught sight of Professor Bentley, wearing a Ravenclaw scarf, and then another girl carrying out a Gryffindor poster. That was it. He was joining them, because no one would ask what was wrong with him, and they were supporting both teams. That's what he needed, no? Yes, and that's why he walked up to them with a smile on his face, "Professor, how are you doing today?" possibly excited for her House's game, no? He smiled at the girl too, as he took a seat next to Bentley. |
GO GO RAVENCLAW! *luffs* If Ravenclaw didn't win Ryden would have to take matters into her own hands. Perhaps even kill the Captain, just to make a point. SO THEY HAD TO WIN, because the brunette had no intention of being escorted to Azkaban anytime soon. And if they lost, and she had to stand those smug Gryffindors... UGH. She would not. She'd fly all the way back to South Africa rather than handle that. Clad in her her blue best and wrapping her cloak securely around her, Ryden climbed up the stands for the second time and took a seat away from the groups forming on the benches. She had no posters and she had no smile; only a grim determination and a slightly growling stomach. She should probably have eaten before, but once again she had just not felt like it. Oh well. She wouldn't be cheering on the eagles today at any rate. She'd be GLARING at them. At least, she WOULD when she wasn't being preoccupied with not freezing her behind off. GLAAAAAARREEE. |
SPOILER!!: Nika and Treyen The atmosphere was beginning to intensify, electricity coursing through her viens... Merlin! Seren felt as if she was about to wander onto that picth to play! It felt good. Grinning she continued to take in her surroundings. The stands were slowly beginning to fill up with shades of blue and red... and the occasional patches of black--boo. Taking in a deep breath Seren released a content sigh. Oh how she missed quidditch. Seren was all too awaree of the movement behind and around her, she could hear the students footfalls, but she still jumped a little when a Gryffindor girl took a seat by her side. "Oh... Hello dear, nice day for a spectacular game of quidditch don't you think?" she eyed the girl holding her poster, all dressed in red and gold. She couldn't help but grin. This would be an interesting match. She was about to look back out onto the pitch and around the stands, when the seat on her other side was taken. "Ahh very well Master Lockhart, and yourself?" she asked smiling. He seemed to be neutral... not a bad thing. Perhaps he could keep her in line of things got a bit... exciting! |
clad in all red for her house team, Heather excited to see the match, most especially her best friend, Kurumi hurried to pick a good spot and she luckily did, thanks to her rather diminutive height, having the ability to squeeze herself in small spaces even in crowds. Yep, she was going to go all out here, cheering for the team and most especially for her bestie, Kurumi, the gryffindor team's SEEKER. She beamed, anticipating to see Kurumi any minute now, but for now, she'd just have to be patient. |
Kita! and anyone else Caroline walked up the stands looking for the perfect place to sit so that she could display her banner that she had made for Carter. She found a seat at the top of the stands. Taking a seat she pulled her scarf tighter around her neck It was so cold, she pulled her robes around her tighter as well. Why did if have to be so cold? The scarf was one of the christmas presents the Carter had given her along with the red earrings, she wore them both today. She was exacited for the match today, ever since Carter had made this terms team. |
SPOILER!!: Treyen and Professor Bentley Nika was too excited for the cheering. She was ready with her sign and her outfit and everything. She knew Bentley looked determined, but Nika would try her best to out cheer the professor. After Ravenclaw won last term and had Gryffindor in last it was hard not to feel a bit ashamed. Thank merlin they won the house cup, that made the other houses quiet down a bit. She saw another person walking towards the professor |

Treyen smiled when she answered, she seemed to be more than just 'very well' because she was almost jumping to the Pitch. "I...think I'm doing okay," he said, nodding. And it was true, he WAS okay, physically at least, he had no injuries, and his wrist was better than ever, so, yeah. His eyes wandered to her scarf, "I didn't know you were a Ravenclaw...," that liked Quidditch? "...did you play?" Quidditch, of course. Quote:
No injuries. |

The brunette found an open spot and a boy around her age stood beside it. "Is anyone sitting here?" she asked him, not wanting to be rude and take it. Who was she kidding? She'd probably take it regardless. |
sorry... too short??? Quote:

SPOILER!!: Little Peoples Mmm yes this would be a VERY interesting match. The little Gryffindor seemed very determined.. and very... what was the word, prepared? Oh who knew! Merlin right now all that mattered was that the game would start soon. Then, the fun would start. "Thinking you're ok is not the same as being ok..." replied Seren, observing her student with careful consideration. "Not to worry, I'm sure I'll bring a smile to your face once the game starts. I'm going to warn you now. Everytime that quaffle goes down to the Ravenclaw hoops I will be on my feet.... so be careful." Yes... warnings were good. She wouldn't want to have to explain to Tate how she managed to hti a student in the face-- multiple times. "I was.. and I did indeed. I played as chaser from my second to my seventh year. I'm sure Professor Vindictus could tell you all about it." She said offering him a wink. Injury free?... well... that was generally unlikely. "Well we can only hope", Seren replied, adding her two knuts. Indeed she didn't want to see anyone get hurt, but it was part and parcel with the game. |
Salander planted himself on the stands. This was actually gonna be a tough game to watch, with little Kurumi going head to head with little Ellie. Plus its hard to select which side to root for, if only because he had so many friends playing for the teams He crossed his arms quietly to himself, hoping no one ends up like the accident Jim had. |
Roderigo made his way with the rest of the school down the sloping, snow-capped hills towards the Quidditch Pitch. Apart from his standard Ravenclaw robes, he had fastened his thick winter cloak and was sporting some nice, navy-blue wool gloves. Because the match involved his house, and also his good friend Theodore Dumble, he had decided to deck himself out in as much blue and bronze as he could. He had charmed his cloak so that it was vibrant blue, and he had gold and navy paint across his face. As he reached the Pitch, he took his usual seat on the Ravenclaw side; the sea of blue supporters. He looked down as the players walked out onto the field and spotted Theo. "GO THEO!" he bellowed, knowing his friend wouldn't be able to hear him over the massive cheering. "GO RAVENCLAW!" He was extremely excited, for he wanted more than anything for Ravenclaw to take home the Quidditch Cup for another year in a row. This was going to be a good match. |

"Oh and I'm Peyton by the way. 5th year Slytherin." That's how the usual introduction went if she was thinking correctly. And judging by her accent, there was no need to ask where she was from. Because she totally sounded American. Heh. |
