Anyone! :) Ah, it was that time of the year again: Quidditch. Iris made her way into the Stands. Because Aaron'd said something about a quick practice before the match, Iris hadn't bothered going looking for him to wish him luck. He was probably in the locker rooms and Iris didn't know where they were. The Head Girl was all wrapped up in her Slytherin scarf and some purple fingerless gloves. She had a woolly grey hat on. On her hat were a number of badges. A few green ones, all sporting the names of the Slytherin Quidditch team and "Go Snakes". Amongst all the green, there was one singular yellow badge which said "Go Badgers, Love Wesley". That one was there because of a promise she'd made to the little Badger over the summer. Looking for an empty seat, Iris got as close to the front of the stands as she could and sat herself down. Looking around, she tried to see how many people from the other houses were going to be rooting for Aaron today. Uh... for the Slytherin Team today. |

And a creampuff wouldn't be too horrid on her stomach either. One less that the fourth year would have to consume. "I'll go for that one," she said casually, as she selected it from the cluster of sweets, realizing too late that she was going to have to lick her fingers from the sugar coating when she was done. Looking down at the pastry, she took a small nibble, and then back at Ellie. Oh, so they were having small talk now? "Um. The team that wins?" Hadley mused, before adding on, "But I guess, my loyalties are to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, but ssh, don't tell anyone..." she said in a hushed tone, as she eyed the Head Girl not to far away. "What about you?" |
Quidditch tiiiiiime! Vashti only wished it was Ravenclaw out there playing so she could be on the field flying around. It would probably be easier to keep warm if she wasn't just standing or sitting around, even if she was wrapped up in several layers of clothes with her Ravenclaw scarf bound tightly around her neck. Somehow, she was still cold, but hopefully she'd warm up soon. Once the game finally started and she was jumping up and down with everyone, maybe. But now it was time to concern herself with something else - where was she going to sit? |
Anyone? The first Quidditch match of the season. As she made her way to the stadium, clad in the neutral Ravenclaw colours, Ryden had to admit that for once, she agreed with the cheerfulness of the Hogwarts population. IT WAS QUIDDITCH TIME. The brunette grinned. She LOVED LOVED LOVED Quidditch. Especially the Beater position - there was none like it. Getting to whack fiesty little balls at people and having an EXCUSE for it, as well as it helping your team, was the best. She liked chasing too, but she HATED being the seeker and because of her small size, she'd always get picked. BLEH. The fourth year had gone as far as persuade Bridget to change places with her so that she wouldn't have to chase a little gold ball the whole game. BUT ANYWAYS. Today she was just watching. Truthfully, she wanted to see how good the players were here. Perhaps she'd even try out next year. Her thoughts went to her broom safely packed under her bed and itched for a chance to fly. Looking around the stands, Ryden tried to spot people she may know. Mostly to see if she had to spend this game alone, but also to know who to avoid. Keeping alert in case unwanted people were to pass by, she carefully sat down right at the top step, wrapped her cloak tighter around her slight frame and began to people-watch, until the game starts. |

Oh, no. Hadley took a creampuff. Grin. No. That was unacceptable. You can't support any tea- Hehehehehehhe. "I won't." Why would she? Her house was one of the ones Hadley supported. Made her feel uber special. "Hufflepuff," she answered with a nod. |
As more students made their way over to the stands Seren could feel herself getting warmer, the crowd, the energy, the sheer excitement of watching the first game of the season. It was magical... There was no other way to put it. She was pleased that she got to the stands a bit early though, because now she had a good seat, right up front where nobody could possibly obstruct her view. Looking out onto the pitch she could see Max preparing for the game. In that moment she felt a bit jealous... firstly because Max had a pretty cool job as flying professor and quidditch official and secondly because those lucky students got to play quidditch and she didn't. Seren could feel the electricity pulsing in her viens--- excitement... she glanced at her pendant watch every now and then in hope that it would tell her that the game was about to start. |
mmmmm anyone? Carolinemade her way up to the stands she was with a quill and notebook for taking notes on the match for the yearbook article and the banner that that she had spent the past week working on tucked under her arm folded up. "Let's go Slytherin. Go Kita!" She shouted as she made her way close to the top of the stands. The match was about to start so Caroline took the nearest seat. Of course she would be cheering for her best friend, and her own house. SPOILER!!: Banner |
AND THEY WERE OFF. Forgetting about everything else, Ryden's attention was pulled into the game. They knew how to fly, so that was one point for them. In a split second, the brunette decided to support Slytherin. She felt closer to them at any rate. Jumping up from her sitting position, she cheered with everyone else and whooped as the players took to their positions and the game began. After Quidditch, she could go back to being sulky. |

Unfortunately, Samira didn't try out because, really, she was just too busy. It would be wonderful, but Samira just enjoyed watching, or flying for fun. Competitions tended to bring out her ugly side, and she didn't want to whole school to see that side of her. For the occasion, Samira was decked out in her proud Slytherin outfit she threw together. She then looked for a spot to sit, being careful to avoid any Puffs. Not that she had anything against them, no, but she didn't want to get into a physical fight with the opposing side. That would not be good. Her eyes soon landed on a good-looking spot, next to someone she had never met before, but by looking at the colors the other person was wearing, she assumed it was a Raven. Ravenclaws were safe, thought Samira, and she made her way over and sat down. After a moment she turned and simply said, "Hi." |
Daisy was so excited for this match. After finally getting over not making the team because she was ill, she was really looking forward to watching. Her third favourite thing after playing and practising. Slytherin was playing Hufflepuff, which was good. The first match of the season had her house in, so would be a little more intresting to watch. Daisy couldn't really remember who was on the hufflepuff quidditch team, and had no idea who they were playing. The only person she could remember was Kita Lewis, a sixth year keeper she had met at a friends birthday party. Daisy held her Quidditch omnioculars to her eyes and watched the teams close up, this was going to be a great game... 'GO KITA,' she yelled, as the was the only player she could remember. 'GO HUFFLEPUFF.' |

She grinned, then gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey, stranger," she said, giggling. It was Caroline, of course. Her snake sister. Ah, it was a really long time since they've last seen each other. |
Quote:
"Good team! THEY JUST SCORED!!!" she grinned back, indicating the girl's clothes, then cheered along with the crowd as her adopted team scored the first ten points. WHOOOOOOO! Moving her things over, she gave the girl room to sit - or stand, like she was doing - then turned back to the game. Oh, how she LOVED Quidditch! |
Anyone (probably for a short time) Why was he here again? Yeah, for the sake of sports and he needed fun stuff to keep his mind away from...things anyway. Wrapped in his winter cloak and thick Gryffindor scarf since he hated cold so much. Yes, he was not the one to feel cold so easily but being wrapped in them he had another reason: to show that he was supporting none of the sides. Neither the snakes nor the badgers. So he was all Gryffindor, yes. His house he had his faith in though it contained girlfriend stealer, coward jerks. Surely looking unhappy and cold which was not the Josh Carter that was known well, at all, the Gryffindor boy climbed higher parts of the stands and sat down where no one seemed to be too close. He was in no mood to deal with fangirls, friends asking questions or anyone else in general. |

Ooh, so the girl was cheering for Slytherin, too? YAY! When the Snakes scored, it was all Samira could to do control herself. She jumped in place while screaming in delight. Not too loud, though. She didn't want to kill the other girl's ear drums. She turned and beamed at the comment. "Yeah, I know!!" she jumped up and down and clapped her hands. "We're gonna squash 'em!" Quiddich was the only only only time Samira acted so freely in public. In any other circumstances, she would be embarrassed at her exuberant display, but right now all she cared about was quiddich and winning. |

Seren was almost jumping out of her skin with excitement. After Slytherins first score, she couldn't help but wonder how long the game would go for. She searched the sky's for any sign of the snitch, but naturally from her position in the stands that was rather difficult. The quaffle was back into play... and who was that? ... in yellow? Simon DeSimpson! he scored?! Seren jumped up in joy, she wa pleased he was doing well. He was a charming student after all. Restraining herself ever so slightly, Seren managed to take a deep breath... haversacking! Merlin! that wasn't going to do Slytherin any favours. Though as the play continued she noticed it was predominantly a sea of green. For the time being. It was early days. |

WHOOO PENALTY TO SLYTHERIN. "That's my head of house right there. GO VINDICTUS!" she yelled, then cheered again as the beaters came into actions. BEATERS FTW, PEOPLE> Hehe. |

Hold on a sec... That was a SLYTHERIN foul. Ryden blinked a couple times to make sure she still distinguished between the two teams. WAS SHE LOSING HER EYESIGHT??!?! Quote:
Ryden cheered again. She'd missed something in the game. Oh well - she'd catch up. That didn't even make sense. SHE WAS SO EXCITTTEEEDD! |

"Here you go." *He wasn't really big into watch the game. Not since his uncle said he couldn't play. But he went today because he knew it meant a lot to Marie with a friend playing and all. And her house playing his meant a bit of innocent picking on.* |

Looking around nervously, refraining from looking at the pitch for the time being, he scanned through the stands, and found Josh there, seperate from the people. Why? Didn't he constantly have friends? Shrugging, he wrapped himself tightlier into his coat and made his way to the Gryffindor for whom he no longer had any hostility. "Hi," he greeted softly, careful with his voice not to betray that he was actually quite nervous. "Why sitting alone?" Yeah, fast-forwarding the greeting ceremony. He didn't think he needed such polite acts with Josh. |

Samira had a whole new respect for Professor Vindictus now. She turned to the other girl. "Right now, your Head of House is pretty dang awesome!" She joined in what the girl was saying by shouting her own, "WHOOHOO! PROFESSOR V!" |
Quote:
"I've been good. How about you?" The girl said cheerfully, smiling at Caroline. She'd missed her. But they'll have time to meet some time, after this match. All the shouting from the stands was making a conversation pretty much impossible. |
Ryden laughed at the Slytherin girl a good natured laugh and cheered along with her. Hogwarts just got an awesome point for their Quidditch. A thought occured to the girl and she grinned wickedly. The next game would be awesome. THough, if Ravenclaw didn't win she would insist on being transferred to a different house. HER TEAM WAS NOT ALLOWED TO LOSE. Like, EVER. Yep yep. |
