With her fingers crossed and sitting in the stands, dressed proudly in her Slytherin colours, Emma Malfoy cheered on her fellow teammates. "Come on Slytherin. You can do it!" she cheered excitedly. Even though she wasn't playing, she HAD to cheer on the team! It was mandatory and it was the Quidditch Final. Slytherin HAD to win. The team had worked so hard this year. Come on Lola. Come on Sierra. |
Iris stared at the pitch. Just stared at where Lola had landed for a moment. She... SHE JUST CAUGHT THE SNITCH. "WE WON!!!! OH MY GODRIC... FALLON WE'VE WON!!!" Iris pulled her best friend into a tight hug. Letting go after a moment, she looked back to the pitch and watched as all the players landed on the ground. Her eyes immediately scanned through the players for Aaron. He'd done it.... actually done it. Lead Slytherin to victory... for the first time since before they'd come to Hogwarts. Soo... Was she allowed to run on to the pitch to snog Aaron now? Or... did she have to wait...? |
He spotted Treyen and Lola zooming towards them on their brooms, then watched them vanish beneath the stands. He stared at the floorboards beneath his feet, worried that one of them might actually break something as they fly into a wooden beam. Then he saw Lola burst out of the Hogwarts crest, arm outstretched with Treyen following after but crashing to the ground. Salander stared, worried for his little buddy. This was a bad case of deja vu, but with yellow and black colors amongst the twisted broom instead of blue and bronze. But as his eyes shifted back to Lola he could hear Evelyn yell.... "Lola caught the snitch? LOLA CAUGHT THE SNITCH!! AHHHHHHHH!!!" Salander exclaimed, gripping his hands on his head. "MERLIN WE WON! SLYTHERIN WON! WHOOOHOOOOOOO!!!" |

It was only when Louisa pointed out the cupcakes beside Kurumi that Vashti actually noticed them. Whoa! Kurumi could make awesome cupcakes too?! Was there anything she couldn't bake? "Those are incredible, Kurumi," she said with a grin. Then - the game began! Vashti cheered for the Hufflepuffs every now and then, but she wasn't in the sort of mood to scream her head off or anything like that. Both teams were playing very well, and for awhile Vashti wasn't really sure who was more likely to win... And then, suddenly, the snitch was caught, the game was over, and Slytherin had won. Well... She still clapped a little for the snakes when they were declared the winners, but of course she wasn't really overjoyed or excited or anything. She hoped Treyen was alright; crashing into the ground was surely not a very pleasant experience. |

She took a step back, breathing hard. She then straightened her outfit, smiled calmly, and said, "Sorry 'bout that," she grinned sheepishly. "I just get reeeaaallllyyyy excited during matches." Especially when it's a Slytherin match. "Ready for Slytherin to dominate?" |

"For Hufflepuff actually, Seeker," she smiled. She probably ought to just go right out and say it now. She had to get used to not beating around the bush and acting as normal as possible with him, right? "Treyen Lockhart has really done a lot for me and is really important to me." Her cheeks flushed again and she chewed on her lower lip to force herself to say her next words. "Like a big brother." Hey, that didn't sound so bad nor hurt nearly as much as she thought it would. "Kurumi Hollingberry," she chirped introducing herself. A pink glow crept across her cheeks once more. "Y-You give me too much credit. I-I grew up without magic...so...it is not really that I place one life style over the other..." But her thoughts were distracted when the whistle blew and the match began. Quote:
Kurumi did manage to hear someone calling her name, and her head snapped around to see Vashti. "Hello," she waved before her focus returned to the pitch. Slytherin certainly seemed to be dominating. Kurumi's hands clutched the bottoms of her shorts. Come on Hufflepuff.... Quote:
Wait, had she known that Professor Hadley was a Hufflepuff supporter or that she had been a badger herself? Kurumi wasn't sure, but it certainly seemed fitting. Kurumi seemed to find herself drawn to those from that house. Perhaps they just had an irresistible glow about them. Quote:
"O-Okay," she nodded, still keeping the smile on her face. "I'll see you later then! Maybe we can have a cup of tea together in the dorms." Tea always tasted better with Lexi. Kurumi had only taken her eyes off the match for a few moments, but suddenly there was a roar from the crowd that could only mean one thing: the Seekers had found the Snitch. Kurumi jumped to her feet and ran to the railing just as a loud ripping noise filled the stadium. Her eyes began searching the sky for any sign of Lola and Treyen, but she began to panic when she couldn't see them anywhere. Kurumi's hands clapped together as if in prayer and she held them up to her lips. Please be alright, please be alright... Of course, she wanted Treyen to catch the Snitch and put Hufflepuff back in the game, but right now she was more worried about him coming out unharmed. It made things even worse that she couldn't see him anywhere. Kurumi knew Lola was wicked fast and tricky, but the Lola she had flown against wasn't a dirty player. Then again, Lola had taken to thinking of Kurumi as her master, so she wouldn't do anything to hurt the Gryffindor. There was another ripping noise and Kurumi's eyes widened when she saw Lola burst through the Hogwarts logo. Phew, at least she was safe. But...where was Treyen? She felt her heart stop when she saw him too emerge from the fabric and she was just about to breathe a sigh of relief when he began tumbling through the air. "TREYEN!" she gasped as he landed hard on the field. It was a good thing her cupcakes were sitting on her seat, because she probably would have thrown them all up in the air. Professor Vindictus probably would have given her detention for frosting his field. Professor Vindictus blew the whistle and announced Slytherin the winners, but Kurumi's focus was entirely on the Badger Prince who was holding his head. Could she run down to the field right now? She wanted to, but she wasn't sure Treyen would want her to. It had been a long time since they had last spoken, but Kurumi wasn't sure if she had permission to get close to him again. What if he rejected her again? Kurumi returned to her seat and flopped down on the bench before picking up the cupcake made especially for him. Maybe, she could drop it off in the hospital wing for him? |
Catching up XO Text Cut: Vashti Text Cut: Kurumi Louisa smiled at Vashti before returning her attention back to the shy lioness. "Oh. Treyen." She said rather indifferently.. and what? He did a lot for Kurumi? Pffft.. weird. He hadn't wasted five minutes to help Louisa last time she saw him and he was a PREFECT Hmph! "He's a bit weird." She announced looking at the players getting into the Pitch at last. Sleeping time. Sinking in her seat, Louisa crossed her arms and rested her back on... someone's feet! She gave an apologetic smile to the student standing above her and decided to support her chin on her hands while she leaned in. Maybe this Quidditch thing was interesting and she didn't need to sleep. Quote:
Someone needed a calming Potion. Or something. Annoyed that her dream of Hippogriffs had been cut for this stupid reason, she sat back down and watched the last seconds of the match getting to an end. She wanted to ask who won.. but seeing that Vashti was clapping moderately she figured it was NOT the Hufflepuffs. Meh. Whatever. "Great. We can go now.." She stood up excitedly all of a sudden before returning her gaze to the sad Kurumi, "I'm sure the cupcake will be a great deal when you deliver it to the hospital wing," She decided to say something nice to her. She looked just too... worried to be looked over. |
