Ahhhh that time again, when the air was buzzing and the nerves set in... though this time round she didn't have any nerves, well so long as none of the children got seriously injured. Merlin the last thing she wanted to see was De Simpson coliding with the stands again. Edging her way through the crowd Seren managed to get herself a pretty good seat. A little higher up and further back than usual, but having come so late-- well by late, she wasn't early, all the front row seats had been taken. Not surprising as the game was supposed to be quite exciting. |
Josephina blinked as a Slytherin boy reached over and plucked not one, but two cupcakes from Kurumi's box. Shaking her head in disbelief at the rudeness of them, she could only really recall a couple from her days as a student. And she didn't remember him being so rude. Oh but that was probably because his nose was buried in a book like hers. Quote:
"I ... well... okay," the brunette said hesitantly, eying them for a moment before selecting one with the little golden snitch on it. "Thank you." She wouldn't eat it all at once though. |
Rose ran to the Stands to cheer on the Hufflepuffs. So what if she was a Gryffindor! Hufflepuffs were awesome! And, the Gryffindors were knocked out of the runnings... She waved her 'Hufflepuffs for the cup' flag. |
Hecate made her way to the stands... she sat in her usual spot. It was very prominent in the stands... a large dent was below her where she rested her beater bat. This was Slytherin's big chance at winning the Quidditch cup, and Anderson's last year as captain. It would be fitting if they won. She smiled thinking about her own captain during her time at Hogwarts... |

"Look what she did with her cupcakes!" Louisa shifted in her place gesturing at the box next to the other girl, excitedly, "They even taste better than they look!" Vashti must like them, they were sporty and all. |
With the term's championship game about to begin to just a short while, Simon made his way down to the quidditch pitch and up into the stands to watch. Sure it might have been nice to have made it there with his team playing but he truly had no real regrets as he finished up his last term as captain. Reaching a satisfactory location, Simon finally sat down ready to watch the two teams, not really having a favorite but certainly leaning towards the Slytherin group despite the fact they had been their last competition...not that he remembered much from that game with the other issues that had taken over him and the rest. Simon glanced at his watch, seeing the time and kept an eye out for Vindictus to appear and start the game. |
The only reason Damien knew the Championship game was today, was because of the notice board in the Hufflepuff Common Room. He still rarely went there, but on the one off chance that he did, he noted the time and date of the match. He was here to cheer on Treyen, for sure -- Isobel was still a touch subject for him, but he remembered the first match he ever saw her fly in. She was incredibley poised, and took charge of the whole thing -- perfect qualities to have in a captain. He marched up to the stands, to find a spot to settle into. |
Iris was excited. Very, very, very excited indeed. This was Slytherin's championship match. The first one they'd made it to in a LONG time. The best thing of all? It was her Aaron who'd got them here. Wearing a Quidditch jersey that looked suspiciously like it might've belonged to the Slytherin Quidditch Captain a couple of years ago, Iris made her way into the stands with Fallon; a giddy hop in her step. She didn't have any banners or badges, though. The blonde felt like they were tacky, and that she didn't need them. Now... they just needed to find good seats. Iris waved at Professor Lafay as they passed her on their way to Iris' favourite spot in the stands... |

Once there, she took a seat. "You have no idea how excited I am. No idea." |
As Iris sat down, she looked at Fallon very pointedly."I have every idea as to how excited you are, Fallon." And then some... Considering how brilliant Fallon was, she was silly sometimes. The head girl grinned at her best friend, before leaning over the barrier to watch Vindictus and the two teams walk onto the pitch. AFLKFSLKJDGH. THE GAME WAS STARTING!!! The first time in at least seven years. Iris couldn't even begin to explain how excited, proud and happy she was right now. |
And so the game began! ..... Seren eyed the players as closely as possible as they began to blurr, chasing after the quaffle... because of course thats that chasers did... they chased. She couldn't quite make out what was going on, and the game was only just starting, but from the blurry green shapes before her, she had a feeling Slytherin got off to a flying start. Literally... flying- obviously. |
Quote:
..."Yes." She blushed at her exclamation after Slytherin scored first. What? She was excited. "Let's go snakes!" |
And so her suspicions had been confirmed, Slytherin scored the first goal of the match. But it was still too early to determine the outcome of the game. Hufflepuff were also in good form. Seren wasn't cheering.... mainly because she didn't want to lose again, but also partly because she didn't know who to cheer for. Meh. |

She turned her attention back to the pitch just in time to watch Evelyn block a shot from Hufflepuff. They were off to a FANTASTIC start... lets just hope it stays that way! |
Oh... and so Hufflepuff were denied a score. Seren was quite impressed with Evelyn's keeping skills. And so Slytherin was making another run for it? zooming up the their scoring end of the pitch... this was so exciting. Bludgers? Seren could see bludgers. GAH! Merlin! she hoped nobody would get hurt. |
Soon enough the game was begun as evident by the energetic crowd response as well as the actual entering of the two teams and their various members onto the pitch. With just two playes it seemed Slytherin was off to a great start. Simon applauded as first his fellow captain scored and then Evelyn successfully blocked the Hufflepuff attempt to get the quaffle through the hoops. "Woot!! Go Slytherin!" he exclaimed, doing his best to be supportive for the team. His thoughts briefly realizing it might appear quite odd seeing as the houses were usually rivals, but oh well, who cared what others thought. |
Quote:
She grinned widely. Slytherin was doing so well today. |
BAH Merlins beard!!! The Hufflepuff beater got hit!!! Seren cringed slightly, but it didn't look so serious, the girl was unseated, but didn't fall... so all was good right? DING... Oh... Slytherin scored! Again. Seren clapped lightly, they were really playing well. And who said snakes couldn't fly? Were Hufflepuff going to rally?.... she watched as a blurr of yellow dominated play... and......... ?? |

Taking the necklace she very carefully secured it around Kurumi's neck and beamed at her. "Perfect. Now you have a reminder... close to your heart." A reminder of her courage and of their friendship. She herself had taken to wearing a necklace with a tiny snake and a lion both dangling from the chain. Heh. Love. It was grand. "Funny enough... it's one of the less crazy of the crazy terms for me here. Sad really. Well. Enjoy the match, kiddo. I think I am going to head back to the castle. I have no desire to watch quidditch today. I just came looking for you when I couldn't find you in the dorms." |

But they could laugh about that later on. LOOK!!! there's the snitch!! Oh my goodness... Iris stood up, her hands wrapped tightly around the top of the barrier in front of them. Treyen and Lola were soooo close together... she couldn't see who was closer to actually getting hold of the snitch! Treyen already had one.... this wasn't good for Slytherin!! |
"Gooo Slytherin!" She cheered banging her bat on the bottom of her seat. Thank Merlin for magic or that section would be destroyed by now. The team was playing really well. |
:p Quote:
Finally after whole MINUTES of waiting for a seat down closer to open up, the seventh year Gryffindor scurried down and sat it in. Whew that's better.... O______O After the vibration of a beater's bat banging on solid wood had ceased, Riley cleared his throat and spoke to the Potions Mistress |
Eeeekk Seren could hardly watch anymore... it was just too close, and her nerves were getting the best of her. She sat there, one hand clentched in a fist on her lap, the other shielding part of her vision- because she couldn't help but peak through the cracks. She was sort of pleased Ravenclaw weren't playing, she would surely have a heart attack if they were. This would be good practice for next year. Yup thats what it was practice.. getting used to her nerves. Eeeek! she continued to watch nervously. |
This was it. The chasers and keepers and beaters had done their job - bloody well, too, if you asked her. It was all about the seekers now, though. Iris grabbed Fallon's hand as she caught sight of the snitch. She knew the Lola and Treyen had seen it too. The head girl hadn't sat down at all for the whole match (much to the dismay of the shorter students who were sat behind her), but she couldn't help it. The excitement and suspense were threatening to kill her. OOOHHH "COME ON LOLA!!! YOU CAN CATCH THAT SNITCH!!!" There's no way we can lose this now. No way... Slytherin we too good. |

For some unfathomable reason Salander had started Only to realize that by the time he So a mad dash up the steps the Slytherin lad went, trying to keep an eye at the game and trying to spot a free seat. Not an easy feat. He did manage to spot Lexi and Kurumi just as it appeared that his Gryffincess was about to take off "Babe wait!" he called out, then glanced distractedly at the game. Something happened he didnt know what... but whatever it was, he finally eyed the scoreboard to see that Slytherin was leading! "Oh yeah! GO SLYTHERIN!!! " |
