Samira Malfoy Potter 07-16-2011 03:37 AM

Quiddich. Quiddich. Quiddich. Quiddich. Quiddich. Quiddich. QUIDDICH.

Do you know what time it is??

IT'S QUIDDICH TIME!!!!

Samira was usually calm and cool and collected on a normal day. But today was not a normal day. No. Today was a Quiddich day. And nothing was more important than Quiddich..

Nothing.

The Slytherin walked to the stands clad in her Slytherin outfit that she threw together, showing exactly what team she was supporting. Slytherin. Because Slytherin was going to win. She just knew it.

Her Silver and Green flag clutched in her hand, the Slytherin anxiously bit her lip as she shifted, waiting for the game to begin.

Hera 07-16-2011 04:49 PM

Game five of the term... Ravenclaw vs Slytherin. This was bound to be a god game. After settling her nerves with a cup of tea Professor Bentley-dressed in navy blue with silver trim- for the occasion, made her way to the stands.

Once there she took her seat in the front row as usual and waited fgor the stands to fill... and for the game to begin.

She wished Ravenclaw the best of luck, crossing her fingers which lay in her lap. Yep this was going to be nervewracking game.

GrapehSarah 07-16-2011 05:27 PM

Anyone =D

Fallon was really excited for Game 5. She was all decked out in her Slytherin stuff and even made a banner that said, "GO SLYTHERIN!" that also flashed the players names on it. Her charm work was getting so much better. She took a seat and looked out over the pitch.

Fallon saw Finn down on the pitch. He may be her boyfriend...but she was not going to root against her house. She wanted them to win so bad. "GO SLYTHERIN!!!"

Hera 07-16-2011 05:36 PM

It was sad to see that the Ravenclaw team were missing half their team.. food poisoning apparently. Very disappointing, but Seren hoped they would recover. Poor dears, she could only imagine how they must have been feeling 1. Being sick and 2. Missing the game..

If only she could have helped sooner. Some Nettle-Rosehip tea might have helped.

Slytherin got off to a flying start... to be expected with such an advantage.

"Come on Claws!" cheered Seren. She would always support Ravenclaw.

Presley Black 07-16-2011 05:40 PM

Presley watched the game with mild distaste. What was the problem today? Half the team missing, and already losing points to Slytherin? This was an important game! Didn't they want the quidditch cup? She did for sure. Presley pulled her knees close to her and huddled as she shivered in the icy rain. Why was she always so cold? "Come on Ravenclaw!" she shouted. Presley teeth started rattling, and she suddenly wished she'd paid attention over holidays when Leo had tried to teach her a warming charm.

Even though her eyes were glued to the pitch Seren couldn't help but notice a familiar face near her.... shivering uncontrollably.
"Water-repelling and thermal charms go a long way Miss Black."
Did students not come prepared to battle the elements?

Bentley turned back to the game... she still had hope... then turned back and offered Presley a smile.
"How have you been dear?"

Presley hadn't noticed Bentley until the familiar voice told her to do water repelling and thermal charms. There was no way Pres was about to tell this teacher-who probably already thought her stupid enough-that she didn't know the charms. She simply nodded. "Yeah, thanks." She would just have to stick it out, be tough. A little cold wasn't going to kill her. Bentley then asked how she'd been. "Oh, I've been alright. A little busy, you?"

Hiding a small smirk, Seren decided to ignore the fact that Presley didn't seem to know how to perform the charms. In all honesty she didn't expect her to know. And naturally she would have offered... but first years were generally a little frail when it came to proving themselves at magic. And young Ravenclaw's in particular had a thirst for knowledge which was usually accompanied by a small ego. She herself had one when she was a student.

"Mmm not bad, lots to do..." like planning the next lesson. Yep, the next one was going to be good. Or at least she thought so. Speaking of Herbology...
"How's your study going? Have you been practising those skills I showed you?"

Presley nodded. "Yeah! I went down to visit my fanged geraniums yesterday. Have you seen them? They look great!" Not mantioning that one had tried to bite her, Presley really was very pleased with her plants. "And I've been reading up on how much soil and fertilizer and stuff different plants need. I think maybe I'll do okay on the final. Thank you again." Presley glanced at the game, and laughed out loud about Lola's invisibility cloak. What in the randomness?

Bentley smiled. "Oh yes I have, I have to say you did a spectacular job," she really did. "Not a problem dear, it's what I'm here for. We teachers are merely a resource for you to use to advance your understanding. Use us while you can. But I have every confidence you will do well when it comes to finals." Presley really was a bright young girl, just needed to believe in herself a little more at times. But all seemed well right now, so Bentley was content.

She looked back to the pitch... invisibility cloaks? .... ooohh the snitch?

Bentley stood for a moment trying to get a look at which coloured blur was closer... but then she sat back down... Merlin this was a hard game to watch.

Presley nodded again. Her teeth were chattering too much for her to reply. It felt good to know that at least Bentley believed in her. Presley watched closely as Spike neared the snitch. She held her breath. The snitch might well be the one chance they had of winning this game, and she wanted to be sure it happened

Leaning forward, eyes tracking the seeker's movements, Seren was slightly disheartened when Miss Jones held up the snitch, triumphant in the capture. Still Spike did well and came ever so close. The game wasn't over yet.

"Come on Ravenclaw!" she called encouragingly.

"...Not a very good game is it?"
asked Seren... making conversation. "All a bit one sided, they're missing the others."

"W-w-we'll p-p-pull through," Presley chattereed with false confidence. "We ha-have a good team." that part was wholly true. The team was good. Obviously today was not thier day.

Cass couldn't believe she wasn't able to see the start of the match. But from what she was hearing from everyone else, it seemed like Slytherin was in the lead. Yay!

She looked down on her shorts and shrugged carelessly, maybe she should have chosen pants instead, b hey, she was already here, and besides, she wasn't wearing a dress to the games. She didn't want it to get caught on something or whatever.

Then, with a grin on her face and her green and gray flag being waved high above her head, she shouted out "Go Slytherin!!!"

Fira 07-16-2011 06:50 PM

Anyone!

With the anxiety of being late, Josh rushed to the stands as fast as he could and having run all the way from the Gryffindor Tower to the Quidditch Pitch he was all sweaty all over again under his Gryffindor uniform but...who cared? He was here to watch THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE. He did not support either of the sides yet he very well knew that he did not want Ravenclaw to be the champion again! So, yes, he guessed he was here for Slytherin.

Too bad he did not have anything to express his support for the green snakes. Most importantly if only he had had something that belonged to Evelyn.

Choosing the best seat for himself, the Gryffindor boy sat down his eyes were all on nowhere but the Slytherin keeper whose adorably smelled hair waved beautifully as she flew around the hoops blocking shoots skillfully. Smiling at himself, the boy's gaze did not move, not following the players who were after Quaffle or snitch as other people did, only Evelyn he kept staring at.

Oh merlin, poor Presley. Not being able to watch the poor girl struggle in the cold Bentley whipped out her wand. "Here, let me help," she said pointing her wand at the girl. She performed the spells non-verbally, with a simple flick at the wrist.

When she returned her gaze to the game... she realised there was another snitch! Another snitch!

"Come on Claws!" she yelled. They could still get back in the game.

Presley smiled as the warmth surged through her. She relaxed her legs, and let go of them, planting her feet where they were supposed to go. "Thanks." she smiled. Bentley was nice. But Pres couldn't help but feel a little upset that she couldn't do the spell by herself. The snitch, again! Presley stood up. "Come ON Ravenclaw!" she urged.

BAH! Merlins Beard!

The game was seriously getting intense now!! Just when it looked like Slytherin were dominating Spike Hutchinson came out victorious! the golden snitch in his hand!

"WWwwooooo Ravenclaw!!!" cheered Seren, standing and clapping now.

"Thats exactly what we needed!" she said brightly.

Simon looked around and saw Professor Bentley he had no idea why he had come to the game, maybe it was so he could see who Hufflepuff would play next or maybe he had just got bored of doing homework, he didn't know.

"COME ON PROFESSOR VINDICTUS!" Simon shouted or maybe it was the fact he had this feeling he just wanted to have fun and cheer on Professor as old as a dinosaur.

Simon looked at Professor Bentley shouting for Ravenclaw, he wished he was up in the air but one day soon he would be. "Hello Professor Bentley, I think I know who your cheering for." Simon laughed.

Suddenly distracted by the familiar voice of Simon De Simpson, Bentley turned to see that the young Hufflepuff had joined them.
Did she just hear him cheer for Vindictus? ... mmm it happened.

She laughed lightly as he commented on who she supported.
"Once a Ravenclaw always a Ravenclaw," she sang. Yup, she wasn't about to change her stripes just because she was a Professor. In class she was nuetral, but out here... well it was a game. She couldn't support EVERYONE!
"And how have you been Simon? Keeping out of trouble I hope."

Simon had his reasons. "I just want to take Slytherin on." Simon didn't know why but he thought it would be a lot more fun a Hufflepuff V Slytherin final, realising he was day dreaming he smiled at the Professor. "How have you been?"

Penny had been quietly watching the match - not cheering for either team but applauding good moves, whoever flew them !!!

Suddenly she heard a very loud shout coming from behind her, looking round over her right shoulder, she saw it was only Simon, her Hufflepuff team mate --- "Hey Simon, enjoying the match?" she said with a friendly smile...

Bentley shrugged. Each was entitled to their own opinion, and diversity was what made things interesting. So it was nice to see that Simon supported Slytherin in this match. Though she felt a stringer kinship with Miss Black at this point in time. The blues needed to stick together.
"Oh thats good to hear," replied Seren, slightly absent-mindedly as she watched the game unfold before her, trying to keep track of the action.

"Oh.. me? I've been well. Busy, you know being a professor and all.." yep, generic response, but it was all true. Between monitoring th greenhouses and gardens and then marking home work and planning lessons, she didn't really have time for much else.

Ahh another Hufflepuff? Seren looked up to see that Miss Laughgoods had also joined them.
"Oh hello dear, its a brilliant game.. quite intense. Not so good for the nerves though."
Nope not at all... there was just too much happening.
"And how have you been?"

Talikins 07-16-2011 08:33 PM

Anyone? ^_^

Nessie took a seat at the stands, she was a little late, but at least she was still there. Ness wasn't much of a fan of today's game as she usually only watched games which Hufflepuffe played in, but Nessie needed something to distract her mind, so she came too watch anyway. Nessie closely watched the match and tried to figure out who was winning. It seemed to be Slytherin was winning. Nessie decided that she would support them, as she knew more Slytherins then Ravenclaws.

Nessie was really tired and without realising what she was doing, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Ness seemed to be sleeping for quite a while, beacuse when she woke up, the game had seemed to move on quite a bit. This is so EMBARRESING! she thought to herself, why did I have to fall asleep here infront of all these people. Nessie's cheeks had all of a sudden had become bright red. She started to focus on the game again, hoping her cheeks would go back to normal.

Rebecca was late for game five of the Quidditch matches. So she was running. She tripped up the stairs a few times but other than that, she was fine. When she got up to the top of the stairs, she saw Penny, a boy that she recognized from her house, and the Herbology teacher. "Hello everyone," the young Hufflepuff said. "It looks to me that Ravenclaw is losing. That's kinda sad. I mean, Ravenclaw is supposed to be smarter than Slytherin..."
