While waiting for Oakey to respond to his question, Vindictus tugged at the door.

"Arrrgh!" he grunted loudly and the door wouldn't budge.

He kicked it for good measure.

"Blimey! What's up with the bloody doors in this pile of rocks!"

Angry, he leaned forward and pummeled the door with his fists.

Still, nothing happened.

Sighing, he walked back to where the Hufflepuff student was standing in the corridor.

For reasons even she had yet to figure out, Sierra found herself wandering along the fifth floor corridor. She couldn't ever, in all her...well, 1 and a half years here...remember spending too much time on the fifth floor. There wasn't even a class going on right now as far as she knew, but regardless of the reasons why, she was here.

She paused when she came upon a room she was sure she'd never been in before. A look of confusion spread across her face, and she stepped forward as her curiosity grew. She attempted to step forward again, yet something stopped her. She frowned at whatever it was and then attempted entrance again. "Arrgh!" she yelled at it, when it denied her entry once again.

"Blimey!"

Lexi had long since abandoned her search for Vindi at his office and found herself here on the fifth floor. Meh. Maybe she would go ask that Viking guy some stuff about Runes or something... but she wasn't too keen on him, really. She preferred Truebs' teaching to that dude's broken English.

Ummmm... why was there someone shouting ahead of her? Lexi rubbed absently at her left eye and made her way toward the noise. "Aye! Whatchu doin' tharrrr?" she said in an odd accent.

...

Okay...

"Dun you know howta walk through a door, mate?" Seriously. She needed to MOVE. Lexi turned her nose up at the girl and tried to make her way into the suddenly interesting room.

Only to be denied entry. WHATTHEHECK? "Blimey! I reckon you ain't as dumb as you look then..."

"Sink me!" Sierra called out, not expecting company so soon. She turned around to face an older Gryffindor girl and promptly rolled her eyes. Leave it to the Gryffindors to think themselves bigger and better than everyone else. "Well, of course not, you scallywag!"

She shoved past the girl and tried to make way into the room, but she was stopped a second time. "Blimey!" she said again, giving the invisible barrier one of her trademark glares. She eyed the other girl up and down, wondering if she was up to something. "You hide your booty here, hmm? Don'tcha?"

Lexi rolled her eye right back at the girl and TRIIIIIIED to push her way into the room. HMPH. How RUDE of the room not to let her enter. "Who you calling a scallywag you filthy bilge rat!" Lexi said as she jabbed a finger at the girl.

SHOVING WAS NOT NICE! "Like I would tell the likes of YOU where I hide my booty! Argh!" SERIOUSLY!

"What are YOU doin' up 'ere?" Yeah. WHAT. Answer THAT. Filthy disloyal turncoat.

Sierra glared at the girl--simply glared. The truth was, she didn't know what she was doing here. She'd just wandered through the castle and ended up here, that's what. She huffed a little in annoyance and then turned on her heels to leave. As she walked off, though, she looked over her shoulder.

...wait, did Lexie really just admit to having hidden booty somewhere? Hmm. She whirled her head around and then walked off, thinking it best to just head back to the dungeons.

Lola had been crazy-eyed, shivering all over, making a grand entrance to the Fifth Floor.

Heel toe heel toe heel toe!

She was strangely touching her face, as if she'd lost something, and she was poking at the same exact spot since the last five minutes. There were people there--WHAT WERE THEY ALL DOING?! The girl flipped her air, eagle-eyeing the people surrounding the door and shaking her head, putting more emphasis and noise to her strides.

What was that she'd heard?

BOOTY?!

"YARRRR!" She shouted out to them, quickly pacing herself. "Begone yeh landlubbers! Get out o' me way! Ye'll ne'vr get me buried booty! Aye, that be right! Off yeh go now, OFF YEH GO!

Lola was still holding a part of her face, but with the other hand, she smacked them and gave the door a long, steel look.

She kicked it. She kicked it again.

She reached into her robes, found nothing but a ball of lint, and was outraged. "ARGGHHHH! WHERE'S ME SWORD???"

Lexi glared right back at the tiny Snake. Really. Was that supposed to be intimidating? Like to anyone. Ever? Pfffft. WHATEVS.

And this one was barking mad! Lexi watched the girl try to get into the Spirit Room as well... and FAIL. HAHAHA. "Swords are not permitted in the school..." Really.

Lexi shook her head a little and then glared at the girl once more and turned on her heel to march off in the opposite direction of the tiny snake person.

Oakey came back to the 5th floor and looked at the door... Why did Vindictus want to get in this room? Why couldn't he?

He walked over to it and tugged at the handle. It didn't open...he tried again, and again, and again...nothing. He put one foot on the door and pulled with all his might to open it. He was even able to get both feet on the door while furiously tugging at the door to open.

He fell flat on his butt soon after. Catching his breath Oakey starred at the door for a little while longer. maybe it opens the other way? Oakey thought.

He pushed it lightly and nothing happened. then harder, and harder again. Until he was pushing at the door so hard it felt like he was trying to move an elephant. He stopped at this as well and sat on the corridor floor catching his breath, starring at the Mystery Door.

Ronnie made her way to the fifth floor, well frankly she had the desire to be here. What that ment? She noticed some commontion coming from the Spirt and her want...no want wasn't the right word. Her NEED to be here consumed her. She looked in and saw a few people.

Ahoy there matey." She said making her way to the rest of the group. "Step Lightly men." She said again quickly placing her hands of her mouth. It was if word vomit had come out. What in the world, did she even understand what it was she was saying?

Kyle walked up to the door as she had found herself stopping right before the door - the door that seemed to not even budge. "Me thinks this door be bewitched" she spoke her words more gruff and rough than they had ever been.

Looking up and around the hall she spotted him and huffed. He had scored her - no she had scorned him. Still, the betrayal burned. Taking her hand she smacked at the door. It didn't budge right now she'd rather be in than out of it - and she'd only been in the room once for the finals last year. Slimey no-good-room. She thought glaring a hellfire of a glare at the door. It would have been shocking if it didn't burst into flame with the fiery hatered in her eyes.

Simon had been walking around the castle between classes, not really with a purpose in mind just wandering. When he found himself on the fifth floor he found it a bit odd that he felt like he was on the right track despite the fact he had no reason to speak with the runes professor or head to the prefect's bathroom. Rounding a corner he spotted Kyle standing outside a room he never gave much thought to and walking closer the seventh year noticed others around as well.

"Um...hi" he greeted Kyle looking somewhat quizzical as he noticed her glaring at the door. What? she got nothing better to do then to stare at a piece of wood? Probably trying to just hang around Vindictus

Wait...why would she?

She couldn't help but smile when she saw Simon the quizzical expression just added to her own confusiion. Why was she staring at the door like it had wronged her or tried to hurt her - nothing had happened the door hadn't tried to throw her off a balcony for all she knew or called her a blaggard fiend or anything to that extent - no nothing like that at all...it just didn't budge.

"Hi" she smiled, her eyes still as fiery as before - not a normal site when it came to miss smiley over here. On a normal day you couldn't go five minutes without seeing ehr smile. "So what brings you here?" She asked, quietly as she tried feebly once more to push the door open. Nothing.

Just blasted bad luck again. "Why am I doing this?" she quietly said aloud not to anyone imparticular but it wasn't like they couldn't see her - or hear her at that.

Simon relaxed his expression a little, smiling back at Kyle glad to see that while her eyes were still so full of...of..ferver that he wasn't to be on the receiving end of any anger. Nope just a simply conversation between two friends.

"To be honest I don't really know," he admitted with a shrug, absently watching as the Ravenclaw tried once more to open the door. "I was just walking around for a bit seeing as I had some spare time and needed an escape to think and then I eventually found myself here." And now that he was here he didn't seem to be that interested in going anywhere else just yet.

"Here...let me try," the captain offered moving to the door himself, a feeling stronger then his normal level of curiosity pushing him on. He grabbed a hold of the door handle and getting a good grip tried to pull it open several times. "Blimey...it certainly is stuck!"

Kyle couldn't help but return the smile - her gaze softening slightly as she did so. "Honestly, I don't know what brought me up here as well" she admitted sheepishly as she watched him push against the door and try to open it.

Her eyes flicking up towards his as he commented about the door being stuck. "Because its a challenge and you wanted to see if the door would give way to you...I think it just hates everyone." The last bit sounded a little bit matter-of-fact, which went nicely with the beaming smile on her face.
