A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.

Pfft, "you didn't scare me. You just..." what could he say here to sound incredibly cool? "...knocked me off my feet." He attempted the flirty eyes, but it failed miserably. He should stop doing it, because flirty eyes were not made for him, yet he used them on every single girl he met.

"Are you sure?" Nessie as she continued to walk. She thought he was lying but wasn't too sure. Nessie really hoped she didn't do anything wrong. She was such a bad friend and needed to be better. "Sorry I'm such a bad friend. i completely understand why you don't wanna talk to me. I know Iv'e been very misrable lately. Its just that I miss her" said Nessie thinking that was probably why he was so irritated.It wasn't as hard to talk about it anymore but Nessie thought she'd better go as she was irritating him. She started walking away and then a tear slid down her eye. Why couldn't she just stop she was such a bad person.

He frowned, concerned at the tear he spotted rolling down her cheek. "Nessie?" He ran, catching up with her and placing his hand tentatively on her shoulder.

She started walking again, and debated letting her go. But he couldn't do that... She was obviously upset, poor Ness. He frowned, and hurried after her, bag swinging. Catching her by the shoulder once again, he stopped her. "You are not a bad friend." he said again, this time more loudly. She obviously hadn't heard him properly the first time. He didn't do well in social situations anyway, let alone ones like this. Was he supposed to hug her? (AHHHHHHHHHHH.*cough*) Or was he supposed to give some speech on how "it was all going to be alright" (which he could not do. He'd probably end up talking about cheese).
He rubbed his chin, finally meeting her gaze.
"...I'm sorry." he said quietly, before placing his hand gingerly on her shoulder, his arm draped around her neck.

Being a Prefect meant she had to do patrols and stuff right? Well right now she was patrolling the grounds. Just like she'd done everyday since arriving to Hogwarts. And because she was such a GOOD prefect, she was inspecting the railing that lined the pathways by walking on them with practiced ease. Testing them for the other students safety of course.

She looked up at the girl walking along the railing --another badge? Really? -- and wondered if she could walk on them too. Or if she could even get up on them. Stupid short body.

Nessie thought Matt was trying to hug her. So she put her arms around him and gave him a huge hug. She put her head on his shoulder then said "It's not your fault so I don't know why you apologizeing. It was all my FAULT!. Nessie continued crying and was greatfull to have Matt there.

Judging by the grin on the prefect's face, she'd known Kellen as more than just 'there goes the Head Boy'. One eyebrow poked up a little, "I'm Hateya; who're you?"

Amy bopped away down to the pathways, again with the bopping, she fancied a breath of fresh air so she went to the lake. And there was no one there, or at the tree house or anywhere. So bored, she'd decided to return, before plopping down on the ground and began to get inspiration. She took out some sheets and began to write random notes, forming them into a basic melody

Since it looked like Arya was getting comfy, Hateya decided to settle in, too. She looped both arms around the railing and jumped, trying to wiggle onto it and pull herself up. The good thing about being eleven was that her dignity was still hit-and-miss, "So you know Sabel too, right? Sabel Dakest?"
Nodding his head shortly, Evan continued passing with her for a while, sometimes his passes missing her with an inch--but no more --and sometimes her passes were off. Though, he could clearly see she was progressing, and it excited him even more. He loved it when people got better at any positive thing, and football was the first thing to get excited about in his list.
Looking up as she talked, he stopped the ball and chuckled softly at her words. "Yeah, you did," he agreed, hands on waist to decide what to do now. "Well, we can either practise shooting for a bit, or we can--"
"--Mina!" the prefect exclaimed, a bright smile on his face. So, apparently this early hour wasn't early enough, but at least the right people found him. The little firsties were still off in their beds, and he was actually glad to be with Bissy and now Mina. Especially the latter girl made his day much brighter, and having her at one of his practices was more than enough to give his 200% into the training.
"Mina, this is Bissy, a new sixth-year snake," he introduced Bissy with a smile, and then did the vice-versa. "And Bissy, this is Mina, sixth year Ravvie and also my girlfriend." His smile got even larger at that as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Lucky they hadn't run or anything, he wasn't sweaty.
"So, we were practising a little bit," he adressed to Mina, setting his foot on the ball. "Would you like to join? We can have a two-to-one match, if you want... or whatever you girls want."
"That football thing is really fun" Bissy thought as the time and the ball passed from one snake to the other and she was hopefully getting better at playing it. She raised her eyebrows as Evan started to talk to her. Yeah, that was really nice hear. She was really getting better as Evan had said. Feeling happy with the snake boy's remarks, she heard a girl speak. She looked up to the Ravenclaw girl having appeared near them. On being introduced to the girl she bowed her head slightly and the snake girl extended her hand to shake Mina's and said: "Nice to meet you, Mina. How are you?" Then, she turned to look up at Evan's face and said chuckling: "It doesn't matter as we, girls, can beat you single-handed, Cartwright"

Jade was walking around the Hogwarts grounds. She had no idea where she was going. Cody was nowhere to be found! As she was walking she saw a bird flying. Jade loved birds. Just then she found herself on the ground... she had tumbled over something. She looked up and saw a girl who Jade never saw. "I'm so sorry!" Jade said as she turned scarlet. "I didn't see your feet were in my way. I'm so clumsy." she continued as she got up as quickly as she could.
