A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
The right corner of Damien's mouth slowly turned upward into a sideways smile. He enjoyed spending time with Ness; she had such a carefree way about her and an innocence Damien wished he could still posess. It seeemed the first year girl loved to be silly and enjoyed laughing any chance she could get.
"I'd actually love to visit your owl," he replied regarding their discussion of pets. "I was thinking of finding one to bring with me next Term." He had no idea where to begin either, so hopefully whoever owned the Emporium would help him make the best choice. He wouldn't know what the poor bird would be used for since he had no one to send letters so -- so maybe just a little bit more company.
Damien chuckled after the question about the O.W.L exams. "I'm not terribly worried," he said. "I've never really uhm -- cared too much about my magical future. I'll just walk in there, take the exams and see what happens."
It was a careless sort of attitude, but that's how he worked.

Ness smiled as Damien said that he would love to visit her owl. So he didn't have one of his own? It wasn't much of a shock to Ness, but she just thought it was awsome having your own special owl. "You are?" she aked getting a little over excited for Damien. Ness wished she could come and get his owl with him over the holiday, but for a few reasons she decided not to ask. One, it was rude to ask. Two, she doubted he'd want to go with a first year, well at that time she would be a second year. And Three, She didn't even know if he was going to get it from Diagon Alley.
Ness deffinately didn't expect Damien to have the careless attitude. He was always studying wasn't he, or maybe he was just reading books. ness thought for a while trying to decide weather that book he always carried around was a studying book or a just a book. At the end of her own conclusion she decided it was probably just a normal book. "Oh! Im kinda the opposite!" Ness always used to freak and over study when it came to any tests. "So Um.. If you want we can go visit my owl, Aya now?"
Katelynn walked down the pathways, thinking. She was gonna miss everyone so badly when she left. She didn't want to move! She didn't want to leave all her friends - and, sigh, William. He was so amazing. And they were finally together. And then her parents made her move. Life wasn't really fair...
She looked around, trying to spot someone. She didn't just want to walk around feeling grumpy.
" I never thought I would see you again this term" Willaim told Katelynn. " You are moving, right?" Willaim asked Katelynn. " I have to be honset with you "Willaim kind of sighed. " I never thought you were coming back so I figured we would not be together anymore and I ended up back with Witsy, my first girlfriend" Willaim explained to Katelynn. You probably hate me now, right?" Wiliam asked Katelynn.

"Figured it might be nice to have the extra company to visit with," he replied regarding the question about the owl. "I have no intentions of using the creature for post -- just as a companion."
Damien smiled. "Of course you're the complete opposite of me," he said, laughing. "And that's a good thing. You shoudn't be like me. I'm probably the worst Probably not the nicest thing to say, but it was how he felt. Ness was this sweet girl who was a good student -- why would she chose to hang around a slacker like him?
Guess she had plans to visit the Owlry. "I'd go with you," he said. "Never even been to the Owlry," he added.
Maybe we should push it along some since end of term is soon?

"Well, if you did, you could." He finalyl said and soon after lowered his face to hide his blushing cheeks. And no, she wasn't keeping from anything but it was too late for him to say that. He could feel his cheeks burning hot and he was not going to look at anything other than his own shoes until they stopped.
Neither had he done the swimming in the lake nor the singing parts of the assignment. He was planning on singing to Eino, and hopefully that counted as singing to someone else. As for swimming, he was planning on waiting for the end of the term when it was warmer so he wouldn't freeze to death. "I haven't done those yet, no." He finally said still looking at his feet. "But..." He began and his cheeks were burning even hotter now. "If you want we can do it together, I suppose. If you want..." He was still not looking at her and kept trying to lower his head further but it was impossible unless he broke his neck.
Sierra didn't make any idle comments about the first few things he'd said. She'd suddenly started to feel a little awkward about this while conversation. Not with talking to Eino, but with talking to Eino about singing out loud to another person. To him, specifically. The swim across the lake she could handle, but then singing to another person opened herself up to a vulnerability she wasn't comfortable with.
"Okay," she finally said. It was either now or never, and she had to get this done if she wanted any sort of Defense Against the Dark Arts mark this year. "Let's just...get this over with." She rocked back on her heels once then came to a complete stop. "Ready? One--two--..."
"...three!"
You see us knock others down to succeed.
You see us as wizards who crave so much more than we need.
So what if we're cunning?
So what if we're ambitious?
We've got something burning up inside;
We've got Slytherin pride.
We've got Slytherin pride.
We've got Slytherin pride.
If there's gotta be a winner, then it should be us.
If you can't keep up, we'll leave you crumbling in the dust.
So what if we cheated?

Damien smiled. "Of course you're the complete opposite of me," he said, laughing. "And that's a good thing. You shoudn't be like me. Guess she had plans to visit the Owlry. "I'd go with you," he said. "Never even been to the Owlry," he added.
Now Damien was making a little more sense. Ness knew he wasn't much of a people's person, so the whole time, she had been trying to figure out why he would want an owl if he didn't write to people. Well Ness had to admit she did spend more time with Puffles then Aya, but that was only becuase Puffles slept in the dormitory with her. "I see! Well They really are Awsome pets!' said Ness encouraging Damien.
Ness giggled a little too when Damien said that of course she was the oppososite, but as soon as he said it wasn't a good thing she stopped laughing. "What? No your not the worst, Never! How could you say that! Your the best brother friend I never had." said Ness wanting to make Damien feel better. How could anyone ever think such a thing about themselves?
WHAT? He'd never been to the Owlery that was a huge shock to Ness. She was so shocked that her mouth hung open for a little. Once she had recovered she said. "Okay Lets go then!". She then took Damiens arm and started pulling him to the Owlery.
"I forgot that your sister was joining soon, do you think she will be in the same house as you?" Victoria asked her cousin.
" All the girls in our house are RavenClaws because they are so smart" Willaim told Victoria. " Mom had always been smart, but dad was pretty smat himself" Willaim said to Victoria. " You know dad being brave and sticking up for his freinds and his family ended up in Gryffindor and the boys have all his traits" Willaim explained to Victoria.
"I have a feeling that Amelia is going to be in Ravenclaw like your mum or she is going to be in Gryffindor like you and your dad" Victoria told William.
"I have a feeling that Amelia is going to be in Ravenclaw like your mum or she is going to be in Gryffindor like you and your dad" Victoria told William.
" I net you like to see Amelia in Ravenclaw" Willaim told Katalin. " I like that the girls are very smart in our family" William said to Victoria." If she makes Gryffindor, that would be cool, too" Willaim explained to Victoria.
"I think it is a tradition that the women in your family will be in Ravenclaw and the Men in Gryffindor, what do you think?" Victoria asked William.
" Yes, probably Amelia will follow the tradition" Wiliam told Victoria. " I am not sure about the twins Aiden and Marlena, they night mess up the traditon" Willaim said to Victoria. "Do yo uagree with me?" Wiliam asked Victoria.

Jordan whispered to himself. He had loved his first year of Hogwarts. And it wasn't so much the classes that did it for him. It was the fact that he made new friends and got to discuss magical interests with them.
He came to a tree, and just sat there, so he could cool off in the shade while drinking a bottle of Gatorade. A Flavored water drink that a lot of muggles drink. He didn't see too many Magical Folks drink it, but hey, he loved it.
Humming to herself, Kita skipped along the pathways, a huge smile plastered on her face. Sure, she had the championship coming up. Sure, she had the OWL's to do. And sure, she may have a lot of explaining to do but she wasn't going to let that bother her today.
Why? Because she was happyyyyyyyy!
Yet she felt like something was... missing. She needed to talk to someone. Anyone! And despite the fact that something was telling her that this is a bad idea, she couldn't help but feel like making a new friend.
That's why, when her eyes rested on a young boy sitting by a tree drinking a juice, the brunette ended up skipping up to him. "Hi!" she said, a little too brightly,"Need some company?"

Jordan heard some dialogue and stood up. "Hello, I'm Jordan. Nice to meet you. Gorgeous day isn't it?" Jordan said looking at the girl. She was as tall as him, so he knew it wasn't a regular first year talking up to him. He kinda felt nervous since no one but a first year would talk to Jordan, he was impressed that it actually happened. "So, you're in Hufflepuff, right?" Jordan asked, hoping she was as long as she wasn't a Snoby Slytherin, he would be okay with whatever house she was placed in.
" Logic does not compute" Willaim told Witsy. " I saw this muggle tv show called " Lost In Space" and the robot would say "This does not compute when he did not know anything about the subject" Willaim explained to Witsy. " Hopefully I will catch the frog in this jar "William said to Witsy. " You stay stiil, better yet just get away from the water" Willaim smiled. " I love you because you are the way you are, very adventourous" William kissed Witsy.
Witsy shook her head confused-like, "I have never seen that show before. I should make a mental note of that." Witsy dropped her mouth, "I'll stay away from the water..." she started to smile, but took every effort to hold it back, "...if you catch the frog- deal?" Witsy felt his kiss upon her and drowned out the rest of the world. Her clothes were still drenched and she started to shake.

Eino watched as Sierra sang. The whole moment was very awkward and comfortable for him, even though she was the one singing, but he would have to sing to her, too. When she was done, he applauded her. "Splendid! Absolutely splendid!" He cheering still clapping his hands. He wasn't lying, but then again there wasn't anything she could do that wouldn't be splendid to him.
Now that she was done it meant that it was his turn to sing. Well, he didn't have to but he should. He thought of a song to sing, but he was so nervous he couldn't think of anything. After clearing his throat then gulping and clearing his throat again he finally thought of a song. He positioned himself in front of her and after blushing began.
Fair Phyllis I saw sitting all alone
Feeding her flock near to the mountain side.
The shepherds knew not,
they knew not whither she was gone,
But after her lover Amyntas hied,
Up and down he wandered
whilst she was missing;
When he found her,
O then they fell a-kissing.
By the time he finished he was sweating and fidgeting. He was very careful not to say "Fair Sierra" instead of Phyllis and all his effort paid off. That would have made things even more embarrassing and awkward for the both of them.
"Why do you think they will mess up the tradition?" Victoria asked her cousin and then said "I think the wedding is a few weeks away!"
" I said they could end up in different houses, but I certainly doubt it" William told Victoria. The wedding is a few weeks away" William said to Victoria. You should know" William laughed.

As soon as Sierra closed her mouth, she heard the applause. It deepened the blush on her cheeks from a light pink to a rosy red. She looked around, double-checking, even triple-checking, that no one else had heard. She didn't see anyone, so she took a deep breath of relief then turned back to Eino. "Thanks," she mumbled. At least her part was over with. The rest of the activities she had to do, she thought, could at least be done in the emptiness of her own dorm.
Except for the swimming, and she guessed maybe she and Eino could go for a swim next?
She quietened down as he sang. Of course he'd sing about lovers. She didn't expect someone like Eino to sing something like "Slytherin Pride," after all. When he was done, she started to open her mouth to suggest swimming next, but then she closed it again. Was she supposed to tell him how great his song was, the same way he'd done for her? Ehh, well. She guessed he'd be less likely to swim with her, and she really needed a swimming partner, if she didn't.
"Good job, Eino," she said, even giving him a smile. She glanced toward the lake. "I'm off to the lake now. I guess I'll try to get some swimming in for this assignment, too." She rocked back on her heels. "Erm, thanks again for doing the singing part with me." She turned and starting walking toward the little opening that lead to the lake. "You should come swimming with me." She gave him a smile and then disappeared down the little opening and toward the lake.
"I have been so busy organising it and I have been studying for my exams" Victoria told her cousin.
" You have been doing a great job" William told Victoria. Did you send out the invitations?" William asked Victoria. " Has Jason helped out a lot?" William asked Victoria.
"Not yet!" Victoria told William and then said "Yes he has been a great help, we have been discussing children already!"
"Do you want me to help with the wedding invitations?" William asked Victoria. " Jason is a good guy" William said to Victoria. " Children already?" William asked Victoria.
