A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
Mordred still stared at Chloe Daisy trying to come up with an explanation to this madness. Snapping out from his thoughts, "Quidditch? I thought first years were not allowed?" Mordred asked. He has got to tell Toby about the Quidditch practice. Maybe they could sneak in...or something similar to that.
Mordred then looked at his flute. "Just now." he said. "Father placed it inside my trunk without me knowing." he smiled. "That reminds me, I have to find a new place to play my instrument. The Lake's too crowded, this place is starting to get crowded..." he trailed off as he scoped the place. "Right, I think I know where I can play in peace." he said as he thought of the garden and kept his flute. "So Quidditch. Which team do you support?" he asked.
'I think first years are allowed to do quidditch, and I seriously hope so,' said Daisy, who loved quidditch and was looking forward to it more than anything more at Hogwarts. 'I support the Holyhead Harpies,' Daisy said. She was from Wales and lived near the Harpies training ground. 'Which team do you support?' Daisy asked, following Mordred, as she thought she could probably not find her way back to her common room alone...

Mordred grinned. "Thank you. I still need more practice, though." he said looking at his pan flute. "I thought you will be somewhere in the Library studying already." he added. "Do you play any instrument? My friend Aurora plays the violin. She's good." he smiled.
Behind Serena, he thought he saw someone lurking behind the trees. He stared at it for a moment and finally stood up to see if his eyes were just playing tricks on him. It's an enchanted place after all.
Serena smiled "I can play the Bagpipes, just not very well"

"My mum used to play for the Holyhead Harpies." he said grinning. "I support the Kenmare Kestrels and the Falmouth Falcons. Mum thinks they are too violent. My father and I think that they are fun to watch." he chuckled. "So if first years were allowed to play, what position do you wish to take?" he asked.

"Bagpipes? Aren't those too big for you?" Mordred asked as he fondly remembered his grandfather teaching him how to play the full-size guitar at age 8.
As Serena greeted Daisy, he saw an uneasiness on her face. "Are you okay?" he asked.

Serena fondly recalled for a moment tripping over the Bagpipes "Yep, that's sort of why I wasn't too good at them. It's hard to be good at an Instrument which is around twice as tall as you."

Audrey loved to take little walks. Especially when the trees have changed color. And when the air was perfectly warm. Today, it was walking time.
As Audrey made her way down the path, she looked around. It's beautiful here at Hogwarts, she thought as if she just noticed. The tree next to her had beautiful colors of yellow and red on its leaves. To Audrey, it always looked like some sort of magic painted the leaves to the perfect color, to make the perfect look.
'Seriously??' said Daisy in disbelief, 'your Mum used to play for the Harpies? Wow! Thats who I want to play for. I want to be a beater,' she smiled, remembering the shock people always got when they realised she was ambidextrous, and could hold the bat in both hands.

Daisy glanced at Serena, trying not to stare too much. Why was Serena looking at her so uneasily too? Did she know this Chloe too? Daisy wanted to shove the problem off, but was just too curious...
'Are you ok?' she asked Serena quietly.

Serena shook her head "I'm really fine. Honestly, just a bit tense about... stuff" Serena broke off akwardly.

'Ok,' Daisy sighed a little irratbly. Why were all these people being so cold to her when she has never even met them before?
She turned to Mordred and asked, a little snappily 'Can you stop staring at me please? I'm not Chloe and I'm never gonna be, so just leave me alone...' Daisy never meant to sound so cross, but she was known for her short temper when people ignored her or kept something form her, it just really bugged her, so she gave Mordred a slightly apologetic face once she realised how she had said it.

Since it was a nice day, with nice weather and everything, Helena decided to go for a walk. She had no idea where, but she wanted... needed to walk. To have a fresh mind, when the classes would start. She had a feeling that this term is going to be a bit more... let's say complicated, but just because she wanted it to be like that. So no complaining.
But the girl suddenly stopped walking, because she was... kind of lost. Or... not? Maybe she had been here before, but probably when everything was covered by snow and of course, it looked totally different. Buuuut lost or not, it was the perfect place for a long walk.
Viola walked slowly, loving the feel of the fresh air on her face. Gosh, she was so glad that she decided to take a walk. She definitely needed this after the chaotic past few days.
She stood for a moment, since she really didn't know where to go. Honestly, she was quite confused. Then, she noticed someone familiar, standing some distance away, who seemed to be stuck in the same situation as she was. "Helena!" she cried, before she could stop herself. Really, did she have to scream like that? But, she was glad to see her.
'Ok,' Daisy sighed a little irratbly. Why were all these people being so cold to her when she has never even met them before?

Oooops, Serena thought Well, that was a bad first impression... She said Hastily "Sorry if I'm being a bit distant, it's nothing to do with you, just... nothing..." She didn't particularly feel like the whole school knowing about... well. She didn't want to know it herself...

Mordred hid his shock when Chloe snapped at him and went for the defense. "You'll never be Chloe, I know that very well." Mordred said almost in a whisper with sad eyes. Seeing Daisy get mad was like seeing Chloe get angry at him. Both girls don't know how much he misses his best friend and as much as he wanted to shout back at them, he thought it was best to just excuse himself.
He held his right temple and said "Excuse me." and went off to the student's garden.

'That's ok,' said Daisy, more warmly. She was one of the more confident first years and had to get used to some people being shy. Daisy wished Mordred would be less secretive too, but as Daisy thought, 'thats boys...'

Nika skipped around the grounds looking for something to do. There were just so many options. Besides she wanted to have a good look around the whole castle before all of her classes started up again. She needed to have a good welcome home walk, or rather skip. "WOAH! I'm so sorry." She apologized to the younger student as she bumped into her. "I guess I don't realize how fast I skip."

Serena gazed after Daisy running after Mordred and sighed slightly. Why did she have no-one? At least they hadn't found out, she would never let anyone know. She had half a mind to just go and find Emmy as she assumed that Mordred and Daisy wanted to talk to each other. Maybe she'd go and ask them if she was acting like the fifth wheel...

Mm. Food was one of the few, er okay, MANY distractions that threw Anakin off from his usual inspection of the area. And the particular sandwhich he had now was so yummy and he was busy savoring, that he didn't notice a smallish ISH figure SKIPPING towards him down the path way.
Maybe if he had...Eggy woulda been saved. Siiigh.
But alas, one second Anakin was about to take a bit of his sandwhich and then BAM. Bye bye sandwhich, hello stumbling Anakin. Not that the figure was THAT heavy and had THAT much force. Anakin just...wasn't prepared.
Sighing at the fallen food, Anakin turned slightly, just in time to catch the girl apologizing. Anakin just waved it off, giving a friendly smile. "Don't worry about it, s'all good. You alright?" 'Cause he'd feel bad if HIM standing in the way caused HER pain.
However, he was kinda curious...."Erm? Might I ask why your so joyfully skipping so early in the morning?"
.....AND EVEN HIS SANDWICH WAS ON THE GROUND. ;______;
POOR HIM.
Minnie's brown eyes flickered down towards the sandwich before looking back up at the boy, the UNKNOWN boy that she suddenly felt very bad for. HE LOST HIS SANDWICH AND IT WAS ALL CAUSE OF HER. WHAT IF HE THOUGHT SHE WAS MEAAAAAAAAN?! Minnie didn't want THAT. However, before pouting and feeling all sad, Minnie figured it was best to offer some WISE advice."I wouldn't eatttt that now, SORRY. It'd probably have gross germs all over it. Gross germs that can get you SICK."The little blonde flailed. GERMS WERE ICKY. ICKY.ICKY.POO-POO. Poor sandwich infested with germs!
Okay, well he didn't SEEM like he hated her. YAY HER."Am I okay? OF COURSE I'M OKAY. I'm fiiiiine, I'm STANDING. i didn't lose my POOR SANDWICH!"OH OVER DRAMATIC DRAMA QUEEN. That was REALLY only how one could describe Miss Minnie."Was it a good sandwich?"She mumbled randomly, looking at him wide eyed. If it was a BAD sandwich she'd feel less terrible. BUT STILL TERRIBLE.
....Was he questioning skipping?
Minnie SCOWLED, crossing her arms."I think the question SHOULD be why aren't YOU skipping? It's not a bad day, no? The weather's nice. YOU SOUND BE SKIPPING JOYFULLY, YES!"
BEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM.

Reason: TYPSO KILLLLLL ME. D: *grumbles*
Good, at least Bissy hadn't interrupted him. What annoyed him even more than idiots were the stupid questions squeezed between his explanations. When she thanked him he simply bowed his head with a great pleasure and said "You're welcome." It had even been fun. She knew how to listen, and seemed interested enough. It always excited him, to see interested people.
Smiling at her kind words, he nodded. Yeah, they shall begin now. Grinning at the word 'captain', he signalled her to get far a bit. Then, with inside of his foot pointing towards her, he hit the ball with medium hardness, enough to send it smoothly towards her. "When passing shortly," he said as he hit, "always use inside of your foot. Do NOT kick with the tip. That is only for shooting, because then you can't control the direction of the ball." They'd do that too, oh they would. And then they would kick with the outer foot as well. That was his favourite; it was a great way to send the ball in a curve. And he could do it. *insert smug face here*
When Evan gestured her to go back a few steps, she did what she had been told. She stumbled on a stone while she was going backwards. She pulled herself together and smiled at Evan rather awkwardly. He must have been thinking that she was an idiot. Yeah, that was probable. *inner groan*
Looking at how Evan passed the ball to her, she listened his instructions at the same time. Well she could do it; it seemed easy when she watched Evan do it. Yeah! OK! Use inside of your foot not the tip! “I hope I can do it. I don’t want to feel embarrassed anymore.” she thought. She took a step backwards then she hit the ball. It missed Evan’s foot a few inches. Was it good or bad? She didn’t know. She looked at Evan’s face rather timidly and inquiringly. “Well, what do you think of that? It was not good, was it?” she asked moodily.

Anakin watched her look from him, before flicking down towards the sandwhich. He followed her gaze, frowning slightly and giving an inaudible sigh. He'd been enjoying that. But he could always get another one from the house elves later. Because the house elves were nice, and eager to please. Anakin loved them, if it were possible, he'd marry a house elf. Fighting back the frown and looking back at the girl, Anakin's eyes widened at her words.
O_____o
Did she really think he WOULD eat that now? He wasn't stuuuupid. But he couldn't get MAD at her for giivng helpful advice, EVEN if it made him feel like he was thought to be stoooopid. "Oh no, it's okay. I can get another one later. Thanks." Or he could just forget the sandwhich and actually go to the Great Hall for breakfast? That'd be smart too. ^___^
Blinking slightly, rather amused by the girl's rather exubarant replies, Anakin couldn't help but smirk slightly. "Well, good. It'd be bad if you like, propelled back or something." Mehhhh. It was okay, he wasn't going to harbor hard feelings over a sandwhich. "It's okay, there's plenty of food in the castle. I'll live without this one." Yup. Just hopefully a habit wasn't made of this. Then it might get a little irritating. Was it good? Anakin considering answering truthfully, but then decided against it. Maybe if he lied she'd feel better? "I've had better in my years." 15 years of life. Yup.
HUH!? Why was he being SCOWLED at? BLANK STARE TIME. Anakin could only STARE at her, well more so than usual, but STILL. She was rather a fanatic about skipping wasn't she? "Well, er, I just mean...it's early...aren't you still tired?" Meh. Whatever. To each his own. Glancing at the girl, to the path, then back. Ani gave a small weak skip. Just one. Just to show he didn't HATE skipping.

Let them point and laugh at who we are, it's you and me here dancing from the start
Elaine wandered around the grounds, with Happy on her shoulder. She had expected him to fly off as soon as they got outside, but no, the owl stayed with her as she wandered around.
Maybe he had sensed her mood and stay with her to keep her company. She had been missing her brother of late, and she couldn't send him a letter because... well she didn't know where he was.
He had yet to send her a letter telling her where he had travelled to and she doubted that his boss would tell her.
Sighing she remembered what she had told him. 'I'll be fine, you know me I'm never upset!' It was true she never was, or she never appeared to be anyway. She felt Happy nibble on her ear and looked up.
"I'm fine!" She smiled. "Go stretch your wings, you haven't flown in a while," and as if to convince him more she threw a treat far in front of her.
Watching Happy fly off she sighed, her smile faltering. Elaine liked being alone sometimes it ment she didn't have to keep that smile in place all the time, that she could relax.
She smiled around her brother all the time because she felt guilty, of being a burden, he had to take care of her since the age of sixteen. She smiled around her friends to keep them happy, cheer them up. She smiled around strangers because it was polite, and they might be having a bad day, or their life might be worst than her own.
All in all she smiled because she had to, and sometimes, because she was happy.
Elaine watched Happy fly around chirping cheerfully, and she smile weakly.
When Evan gestured her to go back a few steps, she did what she had been told. She stumbled on a stone while she was going backwards. She pulled herself together and smiled at Evan rather awkwardly. He must have been thinking that she was an idiot. Yeah, that was probable. *inner groan*

Looking up to see if she was OK as she stumbled on a stone, Evan gave a small smile. Yeah, she was fine... Watching her positioning, he smiled inwardly. Yeah, she was learning fast, which pleased him and excited him even more. It was fun to play with such fast learners. Taking a few steps to catch the ball that had just missed him, he stopped it by stepping on it and turned at her, almost hitting the ball high in the air again. But she was a girl who had just started learning. She could barely hit a ball straight, let alone a chest control and stuff. Nah, passing low was better for now.
Hitting it back at her again, harder this time, he shook his head fiercely. "No no, it was great!" he encouraged with a smile. "Only 1% of the passes are inch-perfect, maybe even less. I think it was very well for your first try." He winked at her. He wished his pass had missed her too, only for this time to show he made small mistakes too, but alas. He was too good for even an-inch miss.

Emily was pleasently strolling around the grounds to keep fit... Ok that wasn't why she was out. She was watching the sky for her owl Sunny to see if Rachel had written back to her yet. She really needed that letter. It could effect her whole future (mabye that was a bit dramamtic)
She kicked a stone on the ground then spotted her friend also on a stoll on the grounds. "Hey 'laine..." she said, hands in her pockets as she walked towards her. There she was her usual smiling self. Sometimes it could just cheer you up to see someone smile, even if it wasn't you. "Alright?" She kicked another stone and smiled at Elaine. Her blue hair really did hurt your eyes if you stared at it to long...

Elaine turn and smiled at Emily. "Hey Emenemily!" she laughed at her newly thought up nickname for her friend. "I'm good, you?" her ordeal with the letter really made Elaine worry about her,but Emily looked ok.
She felt a breeze as Happy swooped down and landed on her head, he squawked at Emily and then flew off again. "I think that means hello too..." Elaine laughed watching her owl circle them from high above.

Hearing Evan’s encouraging words and seeing his encouraging smile, she felt OK. “Wow, thank you very much, Evan” she said smiling back. When Evan hit the ball, it was positioned right in front of Bissy’s feet so that must have been a perfect pass. She frowned and hit the ball again this time a bit harder but it was not different from the previous one. She looked up to see Evan’s reaction but he just hit the ball and she sent the ball back at the same moment.
Even she didn’t know that her reflexes are so increased like that. After passing the ball at least ten times to one another, Bissy told self-mockingly: “Well, I think I have mastered that thing.” She smiled at Evan and then said: “Will you show me new things, Captain?”

" So what is your owll's name?" William asked the girl. " You seem to be a little lonely and we could talk" William said to her. " my name is William Starr" he introduced himself to her.
