| | The Giant Treehouse Multiple GIANT oak trees + multiple GIANT treehouses with many little room and corridors connecting them together, as well as providing easy access to higher areas of the trees. There are also tire swings and climbing ropes and wooden ladders.
Fear of falling? Don't worry about it! The base around the tree has been charmed to act like a cushion, in case you misstep. You'll feel like you've fallen into a pile of the plushiest stuffed animals you've seen.
Previous groundskeeper, Constantine Masterson, donated the blueprints for the treehouse to Mr. Stryker as a present to the students. See, he did care.
Have fun! |

Her parents felt scared she might dwell into the forbidden forest but seriously, Jeanne would know a creepy place. *cough* Beauxbatons *cough*
She went up to see how big the tree house is and it is. It's pretty up here. It's very cozy as well. She leaned on the the wall and shuffled through the pages of her book. Oh yeah, she hasn't wrote any letters from her parents ever since she came to Hogwarts. They must be dying to know how she is feeling right now. Jeanne smiled softly "I'll do that later" she thought.
Speaking of sending letters, how is her owl, Hermes anyway? She had feed her the other morning. How reckless?! She can't even feed her own owl. I promise to visit her later then, Jeanne thought. Amy wandered around the school, taking in all of the sights, things she'd missed, her confusion about a HUGE ship in the middle of a lake. That was soo confusing. Just, nhyeh? Her name is? Jeanne tried to remember. Snap. "Amy..." Jeanne smiled. Guess she remembers after all. "Fancy meeting you here" Seriously Jeanne though, you guys are in school. Of course you're bound to meet her. "It's a nice sight here" she said, changing the subject.

Amy grinned, I know right, we're only in the same school she teased lightly, looking at the book Jeanne was reading. It looked...fun? Maybe it was just because Amy didn't do books. She did music, cuz she was epic *shrug*. I love it here, in second year I used to come up and do music, she grinned, remembering. Memories. So great, whatcha reading? She asked

When she finally reached the upper levels, she sat down at the edge where there was an awesome view of the castle through the trees, and held on to a wooden beam for support. She didn't want to fall off and die here. Then, she rummaged her purse for her sunglasses and donned them on. Ah, she wished she could stay here forever. It was so quiet and peaceful.
Levi climbed up the tree, looking for any way he could ditch studying. He just wasn't in the mood to flip through his textbooks to know what he was doing before his classes started. He couldn't concentrate on his reading or taking notes so it looked likely that he was going to get behind yet again this year. Earlier that summer, he had promised his dad he would have done better but now he wasn't as enthused after what happened. As if he was going to let him control what he did when he wasn't home.
He was dressed like a muggle and not an exceptionally rich one but he seemed to be in a better mood since the first night back. His pet bat hung upside down from his left sleeve and he tried not to move suddenly to wake him up. It had been rough, trying to keep him quiet the first couple nights and he ended up sleeping in the common room those times. He nearly collided with Cass as he made it to the top. He always had a strange way of running into her when he least expected it.
"Um, hey..." the Gryffindor said quietly, standing next to her. "What's up?"
It shouldn't have been so hard to talk to her after the train ride but he was still having trouble finding his voice. |

Cass pushed her glasses up, sweeping her hair like a headband when saw Levi standing next to her. "Hey." She answered with a smile as she glanced at him momentarily before returning her attention to the view " Nothing much...yet. Just parading my clothes around the castle." She said jokingly with a slight giggle as she pushed her sleeves up to her elbows before turning her back on the view and leaning on the wooden railing.
Then she looked at him and asked "How about you?"

To say he was relieved when she smiled back was nothing short of an understatement. Levi was glad that things were cool between them once more, even if it was a little awkward. Before the train ride, he had never told her of his home life because he didn't want to depress her with that heavy honesty. At least she hadn't turned away from him when he did, though. She did what any decent friend would have done and listened, even offered help. That struck a meaningful chord with the Gryffindor.
At her remark about her clothes, Levi smiled. He hadn't really noticed them when he first climbed up. He was a guy and he didn't normally tend to study people's clothes or even take them into consideration. However, to stay on her good side, he allowed his dark eyes to travel downwards for a moment so he could understand what she was talking about.
"Oh yeah? I didn't--I mean, you look really nice today. Not that you don't look nice every day," he added quickly. He mentally patted himself on the back for knowing when to compliment. He was starting to get better around girls. "So, um, have you written any new songs?" |

Cass had to laugh as he made amendments to his earlier complement. "Thanks, I do make it a point to look good every day." Of course, she couldn't just go around the castle with crumpled clothes and unkempt hair. Then she glanced at him before adding "It's nice to know my efforts aren't wasted." "New songs?" The blonde repeated as she took a second or two to remember "Well, none so far. I haven't had time to write songs recently." Hmph, trying to earn back those 15 points that Iris lost. "Besides, there hasn't been anything to write about..." She said sort of glumly as she played with her guitar pendant

"You look great," Levi assured her kindly, stroking the top of Vlad's head. "You're the prettiest girl around, seriously." Okay, that line might have been pushing it but he wouldn't have said so if he didn't think it was true. There were a lot of cute girls at Hogwarts but none of them seemed to have the good personality and brain to go along with it as Cass had. He would have added that fact too if he didn't think it would sound entirely too mushy. Plus, he didn't want to come off as a creepy admirer. He wasn't that obsessed with getting her attention.
"Yeah, the first weeks back are usually pretty hectic," he remarked, looking outwards. It was an awesome view from up here. "Maybe you'll get some ideas later in the semester. You could write about how much class sucks." He shook his head jokingly. "Or just anything, really. Whatever comes to your head." |

It was nice.
The brunette slowly moved back and forth with her feet still on the ground. She sat there humming Firework by Katy Perry. That darn song always found its way into her head and stayed there. SHE DIDN'T EVEN LIKE IT. Ugh... she really needed to stop.
Her humming stopped as she saw someone get on the swing beside hers. What the--- What did this boy think he was doing? He could fall off and get hurt.... Ehh actually it looked like some fun and she was tempted to stand on top of hers too. "Having fun?" she asked him, watching as he stood upon it, the swing barely moving. Frowning slightly, the boy continued to think of possible ways to make his swing move. What if he got off and pushed it, then got back on? No, he was too lazy to get off and then back on again. The boy's eyes looked down upon his school shoes. Merlin. He hadn't noticed the holes in them. "Stupid dog," he muttered to himself.
There had to be a way to move the swing without help. He continued to frown as he looked to his left, noticing a girl. WOAH. How come he hadn't noticed her before? It would be more fun if it would y'know, move." The boy continued to frown.
His blue eyes wandered to hers for a moment, wondering just what else he could do before going back to his shoes and the bottom of the swing. For now, the boy gripped the rope tighter, and began twisting the body from side to side trying, unsuccessfully, to get it swing. He glanced back up at her before speaking again. "Do you know how to get it to swing? Without getting off of course," the seventh year inquired.

Sitting down on the bench beside Ellie, and stretching his arm across his body and holding it, before releasing it and doing the same with the other arm, he turned to the younger Eagle and said, "It always is nice to get away some time, away from the classrooms, the common rooms and the Great Hall, I think thats why I run every day, so that I can clean my head, fill it with fresh air and new thoughts," he nodded, beforing changing arms again, "Ohh but now it makes sense, you are he type of Seer that needs fresh air to channel the spirits, to see me being awesome, before I have been awesome, you are so lucky!" And, of course his humility. Ellie always liked his name. Patroclus Julius Hudson. It was unique. And, for convertsations sake...: "Er, random question, but... Where did your name come from? I've always kinda liked it and it's really unique." Ellie asked curiously.
Her eyes followed him as he sat next to her and stretched and she nodded. "That's not a bad idea. It's probably easier to get distracted from school and drama when you're running, huh? Maybe I should try it." She suggested. Patroclus should be a therapist. The fresh air was nice, anyway. Ellie put on her thinking face and tapped her chin. "Hmm, I think you're right, Hudson. Maybe I'll grow up to be some psychic who is always in the right places at the right times. That way I'll always witness when something cool happens." She said with a grin. "I AM lucky! The blonde walked over to the tall tree to see if the rumours about the return of the Treehouse was true. Maybe they were or not. You never know whether or not you can trust rumours. Emma was always skeptical about trusting rumours that came from her own Common Room. Sometimes people enjoyed embellishing stuff, to make it more exciting... The blonde gazed up at the tree before her and squinted- trying to see if the treehouse was there....... So the rumour was true! The Giant Treehouse had returned! And it's return needed a jumping off the top ceremony. Teehee. Time for some major fun. The blonde grabbed her camera and started taking some pictures of it. Emma would need to send these to Sel. Now all she had to do was climb up it.
The blonde grabbed on to the branch and started to climb up. And soon she had made it to the house itself. It was beautiful up here. The blonde snagged some photos of the sky and Hogwarts. This was her second place in the whole world.

She nodded in agreement. "You have a point there," came her reply. Peyton once more began to hum that ridiculous song as she watched his failed attempt at trying to get this thing to rock back and forth. A laugh escaped her mouth as she watched him.
Ohhh and then he asked her if she knew how it get it swing.
Err....
Well now.... she wasn't exactly and expert at coming up with these ideas. Usually when you got yourself swinging, you had to rock your legs back and forth. So to get yourself swinging while standing up you needed to... rock yourself back and forth? Mmm... yup... that was her theory.
"How about if I held the rope of your swing, and you did the same. Then we could try rocking ourselves back and forth," she offered, taking hold of the rope of his swing. Would it work? Probably not... But they should try.

Levi caught her studying his new pet and he tried to suppress the urge to laugh. She looked a little scared, as though she thought it might wake up and attack her. The thing was barely two months old, just an infant. All it did was sleep and eat and occasionally practice flying. Other than that, he was completely harmless. There was no need to get frenzied around him.
"Thanks," the Gryffindor answered back nonchalantly. "Don't worry, he's not gonna attack you or anything. I can't afford an owl so you know, I picked him up instead..."
At her next question, Levi lifted a brow. "There's a best student list?" he asked, looking a bit amused as well as skeptical. "Right. Well, I'm planning to...maybe...I dunno...not fail at anything this year. I guess that's a start." He shrugged. He really wasn't the type of student to get involved around the school. |

Hopeful, the boy began twisting this way and that trying to get the swing to actually MOVE. But no, it was too stubborn and the swing didn't move either forward nor backwards. Only twisted just as he did. FROOOOWN. Pausing in his twists, the seventh year glanced over at the girl once again. "It appears so." he replied nonchalantly eyes wandering back over toward the seat.
But then, he started hearing some sort of.. music. It wasn't exactly a song, more like a hum, but he wasn't completely sure what song it was. It sounded vaguely familiar. Sort of like something that his mom would listen to. He gripped the swing tighter and asked, "What in Merlin's name are you humming? It sounds... vaguely familiar."
And then she laughed. It was a cute, melodic sort of laugh and it reminded him way too much of Eirian.
With a slight grin, the Gryffindor listened to the female's words, uncertain of her theory. But hey- why not give it a shot? It couldn't hurt, could it? "Hm. I like your thinking, kid." he then grabbed hold of her swing, accidentally brushing her hand in the process.
"On the count of three we start swinging." he informed her before continuing. "Ready?" he paused before continuing. "Three.." Pause. "Two," another pause. "ONE!" He shouted before proceeding to rock back and forth. Or at least attempting to.

Emily realised she'd said the wrong thing as Daichi stopped swinging. Why did she always do this?! "Oh I'm sorry!" she said quickly, also stopping her swing "I didn't mean to upset you. You don't have to talk about it..."
Merlin she was an idiot, but it had saved his life? Well stranger things had happened.
She quickly looked around for a change of subject. She didn't want him to hate her! "So, um... What lessons are you looking forward to?" That's right, school talk would cheer him up! Daichi smiled softly as he looked up at Emily. "It's ok, you couldn't have known right?" he said and pushed his feet off the ground to swing back and forth slowly. "My dad says i should talk about it but... i don't want to talk about it to someone i've just met" He quickly held his hands up , his plushed ducky rose in the air too. "N-no offence though!" He added quickly. Not wanting the girl to feel offended or anything.
He was happy the girl changed the subject but at the same time felt bad for her. She must have thought she did something wrong while she only asked a perfectly normal question. Deciding to smile broadly at her as though everything was alright , Daichi swung back and forth back and forth. "I can't wait till classes start! I saw in my common room that the first lesson is Arithmancy! I think that subject and flying would be the best!" Was he weird for liking numbers more than a subject like, charms or DADA? "What about you? have a favorite subject?"

| Aaaaaanyone! Jimbo will set his turtle loose on you. { The Farley } "That's trademarked, don't use it." Obviously, Jimbo would be here. The term had only just started but it wasn't very long before he made his way over. He loved this tree, and it had been one of his favourite past times for years to sit there with Pebbles eating candy and throwing a thing or two down to passers by.
Today, he went right up to it and looked at it fondly, glad to be back, before he climbed on up - without the use of the ladders - and sat himself on a branch right outside one of the treehouse windows. He was quite high up, he liked heights. And he placed his turtle gently beside him, careful not to let him fall.
He looked around at the treehouse and spotted something carved into the outside. Quote:
The Farley was here in all his glory. That being said, this place may stink for a while.
He laughed. He remembered when he did that.
He took a huge bite of a licorice wand, enjoying the giant treehouse. |

He'd called a girl by the wrong name before, and she hadn't been happy at all. Although maybe that was because he'd known her for a while and... anyway. "Dallin," he told her, focusing on the conversation again. "But Dal's fine, too." It struck him then that most of his friends didn't call him anything but Dallin. Hm. He needed a better nickname than 'Dal.'
He followed her to a couch and sat down, stretching his legs out comfortably. "Yeah, I think it's a great idea." He looked around again before back at Georgiana. "It'd be fun to play, like, tag in here or something. Especially with the soft ground underneath." Yep. Georgiana chuckled when she saw Dallin shaking his head to move his hair, if it wasn't because of the wind she would have thought that he was that kind of boy that has that "tic"? like the ones that constantly like to hair flip.
Oh great she was almost close to his name "Well, I almost got it" she said, feeling proud of it because she used to forget names "Okay then, "Dal" shall be" she nodded "At least you have a nickname!" her name was so long and it bothered her sometimes, and added "Ah, before you say it..." if he even was going to, "I don't like Georgia for a nickname" she shook her head with smile. Then she guessed her name and nickname would always be Georgiana....great!
Enough with the nickname conversation. Georgiana already on the couch, she closed her eyes briefly and opened them again quickly "Tag? what is tag?" she asked with a puzzled look. Maybe it was a muggle game.

One thing for sure was that is was getting him NOWHERE. He was more or less looking rather... childish. It didn't matter though! She rather enjoyed the childish manner this Giant Treehouse ensued.
When he suddenly commented on her humming, a smirk formed on her face. "Why is it annoying? Cause believe me, it's annoying the crap out of me," the girl answered in her very Americanish like. Hey, she was from the US. Can't blame her. "It's Firework by Katy Perry. She's a muggle artist," she added, just in case he didn't know muggle music.
Smiling in rather a proud manner for this awesome idea she had come up with, she said, "I am quite the thinker," in a jokingly way. Mainly because on average, her ideas weren't that great. A small grin formed when his hand brushed hers. She barely knew who this kid was, but one thing she did know was he was kind of cute.
Peyton nodded and waited until he got down to one, and started rocking back and forth. Waaaait. She found that they were actually starting to get somewhere! Progress!

Enough with the nickname conversation. Georgiana already on the couch, she closed her eyes briefly and opened them again quickly "Tag? what is tag?" she asked with a puzzled look. Maybe it was a muggle game. "Dal works fine," he told her cheerfully. And really, that was the only thing anyone was likely to get out of his name. Unless they wanted to call him something like Dally or Lin... neither of which he liked. At all. He half-smiled when she told him she didn't have a nickname. "Well, Georgia wouldn't really work, would it? It's a different sound." So... yeah. "Georgiana it is, then. Unless you wanted to go by something like Ana, Or Georgie, or Gi." Those were just off the top of his head, she wasn't obligated to like them.
For a second, Dal thought she was joking. When it was clear that she wasn't, his eyes got wide and round and his mouth opened slightly. "You've never heard of tag?" What kind of kid has never heard of tag?! Poor, deprived Georgiana. Well, it was now Dallin's job to explain it. "It's a game that's usually played with a lot of people. Someone's It, and they have to tag someone else so they're It. The goal is to run away from the It person and not become It." Simple, really. And fun.
He could not believe she'd never heard of it.

Peyton nodded and waited until he got down to one, and started rocking back and forth. Waaaait. She found that they were actually starting to get somewhere! Progress! MOVE SWING, MOOOOOVE. He glared at it. Almost willing it to begin moving back and forth for him. But no, apparently this swing was not controlled by mind power either. More fooowns. She was laughing at him? GAAAASSP. But hey, he did fancy himself as somewhat of a comedian. Sometimes.. Well, other people told him he was.
"Annoying?" the American repeated, "Why, of course not!" Lies. He needed to work on his lying. He did it way to often. "Okay, maybe a little," he admitted a bit unwillingly. "But hey! It's totally-" Oh wait. It annoyed her too? Maybe it was better that he did tell the truth. Lies-0. Jayce-1. WINNER. "OHH! My mother listens to her a lot. She says it reminds her of her childhood or some sort of crap like that," the seventh year let loose a chuckle.
WAIT. Her voice. It sounded.. IT DIDN'T HAVE AN ACCENT. "Are you American?" She had to be. Being American himself made him overly excited to meet fellow AMERICANS. Because America was awesome and no one could possibly prove him wrong.
He glanced over at her again, watching her smiling face made him smile right along with her. "You must be. Hm. You're probably some sort of genius as well." he complimented somewhat nonchalantly. He liked giving girls compliments without them even knowing. It was his.. thing? He was a strange one, that's for sure.
GAAAAASSP.
Were they.. were they MOOOVING?! NO WAAAI. Jayce BEAMED. He was so excited, even if it was just a little bit that his grip around the ropes loosened slightly. It loosened just enough for him to completely loose his grip and face plant into the ground. But luckily enough for him, it didn't hurt. Strangely, it felt as though he'd fallen into pillows or a whole lot of stuffed animals.
How.. peculiar.

He could not believe she'd never heard of it. Georgiana nodded at the mention that "Dal" was fine and for a moment considered the options Dallin was giving her "Ummm yeah they could work" she said not actually sure but those nicknames were better than the one a guy gave her one time....George. Epic fail.
She kept silent and saw the expression on Dal's face. Did she said something wrong? was she supposed obligated to know what tag was? If it was a muggle's game then no, because everyone in her family was a wizard and only knew a bit of stuff about muggles. "Nope" she said eyeing him. The only game/sport she has heard of was football and... bowling or something like that. She listened carefully to his explanation, so basically someone was "It" and they have to touch someone else so they are no longer "It" "Ohhh I see" she said amazed "I would like to play it someday, just to try" since she has never played it before "But we have to gather more people to do that" she said, but that was pretty obvious since he said it before. "And....how was your summer?" she asked.
