Wow this really was a boring day. It took the mick. It really did. Mikey hated being bored. It sucked. He wondered down to the treehouse having just left the Lake and a rather fiery first meeting with someone with some serious attitude problems. Boy was she pathetic. But she was funny. Mikey walked up to the treehouse and climbed up the ladder to the top and sat down so he had a clear view of the ground below. Perfect for a landscape drawaing. He loved drawing landscapes. He didn't understand why. It had always been a hobby of his and clearly he was good at it. He'd always been
told her had an artistic streak. Meh. He didn't think so. He just drew what he
saw and it came out looking realistic. Nothing to it really. Just a load of
scribbles on a piece of parchment. Simple. But everybody else seemed to see it
as more than that. They seemed to see it as a talent. A talent that apparently
not many people had. What about Van Gogh or Da Vinci, they both came up
with masterpieces. What about the Mona Lisa, that was the most famous
painting of all time. Compared to them, he was not a good artist. But
everybody seemed to think so. The current generation and all. Never mind. He
didn't think so.


Mikey sat and took out his art book and his pencil's and began drawing the
beautiful view of the students sat talking, the beautiful sky and the bright
green grass on an amazing day. Sort of. Well it was like Autumn? Yeah, he
didn't follow the season's. He never had. Although most of his landscapes were
drawn in a specific season. Meh. He didn't really care about them. He just saw
a pretty picture in his head and drew it. And out came "a masterpiece" as
people called his art work.

Cove was walking around the school grounds taking pictures for her brother. She came to the giant tree house and smiled. She snapped a picture and put the camera back around her neck. Cove climbed up the ladder and tripped on a younger boy who was drawing. She sat up and started laughing. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you." She said laughing. His drawing had often found themselves on the mantel pieces of several family members, including Uncle Marcus's wall's. He had an entire room just for his "masterpieces" Though he didn't fully understand why he had such big plans for him to become an artist when all he wanted to do was remain an amateur. But that didn't seem likely anymore. Mikey's drawing's were apparently too good to go unnoticed according to the many people who had seen them. But he just wanted the family to see them. Not the family friends. Never the family friends.

He looked up at the girl when she introduced herself and smiled sweetly at her. Fair enough. She wanted to talk. But that didn't stop him from drawing. He was not going to stop just because someone wanted to talk to him. "I'm Mikey. Pleasure meeting you Cove" he replied politely looking at the girl. Then he turned back to his drawing and decided to put it away for now. Good idea he thought.

"Seems like you two have a few years planned out already." Not, in detail, but...they've got some idea about what they want to happen. The was kinda...unsettling to the Slytherin? Was she supposed to be like that with Josh?

Nodding slowly, she turned her gaze back to the jar before taking a deep breath. "I suppose, but I still have a while before I turn seventeen." Hmmm. Smirk. "All you people are just oooold." And, it failed. She wanted to be seventeen. NOW!
