Caroline nodded and smile at Theo. "Yeah, I came." She noticed a firey looking red head walk up the group. She had never seen her before. But figured that she must be a friend of Brae's. Wow that boy had tons of girls as friends.

She thought that Emma was at try outs. "Well congrats on making the team, even as a reserve theres a chance you could play." She nodded. Her fourth year seem so long ago. Of course he would love the cake and all it's movie-ness. She watched as Emma looked at her watch and said that he should be there soon. Yay, She couldn't wait for the guest of honor to get there.

Caroline watched as the red head and Theo fought, aruged, or whatever it was. She couldn't help but laugh a bit as she listened. "Hi, I'm Caroline." she offered her hand the red head girl, who name was Rudy, since she hear Theo say it. Then who should arrive but the guest of honor himself. Yay! He was here, time to par-tee.

The room when silence for a moment and of Emma's decorations. It tooked amazing, and more like a brithday party, than a Ministry meeing. Both of the cakes looked great. She turned about and said "Happy Birthday, Braeden!"

'Thank you. It's even better than I expected. Not even my mum's stories from when she was a student here could have prepared me for what it's really like. AMAZING.' the little one was beaming. 'My friend has a special locket from her grandma which contains something secret but it's locked with a charm.' Ari explained. 'Do you know anything about Locking Charms?' she wondered.

Ari's smile faded when Freya said that she wasn't that happy and that Quidditch wasn't going well. The firstie remembered that when they had met on Diagon Alley the Slytherin had told her that Quidditch was her favourite thing at Hogwarts and Ariadne was sure she was going to make it on the team again. 'What happened?' she asked. Ari didn't care much about Quidditch herself, but she cared about her friend.

Theodore had to suppress a squeak of fear in front of the ginger girl. What ever she was up to, it wouldn't be pleasant. "I'm a sixth year," He attempted to smile at Emma from over Ruby's head, although the fear the Gryff instilled in him refused to leave.

Suddenly, many things happened at once. Just as she inquired if he ever knew her name which he did but was afraid to speak it a lá Lord Voldemort, having nearly reverted to saying She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Braeden came in and there was a rush of commotion as everyone greeted him and the surprises came into play. Suddenly, Riley arrived and Theo's stomach felt more hollow than ever. Great, another bully in their midst. With all of the action, out of the Ravenclaw's mouth tumbled a jumble of gibberish. "RubezBRAERilesWHARod?"

Slapping a hand over his mouth, he flushed pink with embarrassment.

Hmm, she didn't blame Mia for wanting things to go well. She seemed to really like the guy. However, once she started to describe what he was like, Evelyn frowned somewhat. Not face her friend of course, but...she couldn't help it. Mr. Mysterious Durmstrang dude...charming and funny. Well, that wasn't the picture of him she had in mind.

Aw well. He was Mia's boyfriend so it didn't matter what her opinion was. "He sounds..." Huuh.

Disneyland?

Raising a brow, Evelyn stared at her friend. STARE. Say what again? "Disneyland? Is that some kind of privately owned island or something?" Because that would be awesome.

Ruby grimaced at Curly's reply to Emma--so he was a 6th year, too. How disgusting. Turning back to Emma as she questioned her about the other girls, Ruby shook her head. She would never associate with those kind of people. And it appeared Curly's real name was Theo--just as dorky as his face. And apparently the Birthday Boy was running late because the party should have started a while ago.

Whilst tapping her foot as she waited for Goofball, one of the other girls walked up to her and introduced herself. Looking down at the hand she offered and then raising one eyebrow again, the Lioness coughed. "Mhmm. So?" She scoffed and didn't take her hand. Did she come here to meet people or embarrass Brae?! Sheesh.

And then, of course, who should arrive at the scene but the man of the hour himself! Braeden stupidly walked into with the goofy grin of his, and she noticed a huge purple bruise on his head--this made her laugh, of course, because someone had done her dirty work for her! Oh, how simple life was sometimes. But she wasn't here to let Brae have FUN, oh no. And the rest of the crew sang happy birthday while the decorations revealed themselves. Ruby hung back and was glad to see a flicker of fear as Brae glanced her.
She just had to wait for the right moment to POUNCE. In the meantime, she wanted to keep her eyes on MR. THEO.

Macy climbed up the ladder to the treehouse, happily humming to herself.

It was PRETTTYYY outside. Sigh. Ohh, how she loved fall. Especially with all the pretty orange leaves. Orange was a pretty color. The color of pumpkins and orange juice and candies and... orange juice. Mmm. Orange juice was the best. Granted, the whole fall season seemed to just be an occasion to show her inner klutz. She always seemed to be tripping on--

AHHHHHH!

... The fourteen year old fell back down the ladder, landing with a hard thud on the ground. Thankfully, she'd landed in a somewhat comfortable position and her hands had broken most of her fall. Though now those hurt. "Oooooowwwwee," she whined. Mneeh. Macy rolled around from side to side, clutching her hands. Dang that had hurt.

Kana saw the girl fall, and even though it wasn't a particularly long way down, the girl did appear to be moderately hurt. She scrambled down to a low branch and dropped to the ground from ten feet, touching her hands to the ground briefly to balance her fall.

She wore a black hoodie, dark jeans, and black tennis shoes. On her hands were fingerless leather gloves that resembled those a biker might wear. Her tree-climbing gloves. Her outfit being completely colorless made her neon hair stand out even more. She approached the girl, holding out a hand to help her up, and bent down a little bit.

"Are you okay?" Stupid question. But she asked it anyways. "Here, let me help you up..."

Macy looked up from her slightly injured hands and blinked a few times. OH! The girl was helping her up. Duh. She took the girl's hand and heaved herself up. Ah. There. See, now that wasn't so terrible.

She nodded. "Oh yeah, I'm practically indestructible," she assured the girl. No need for anybody to worry about her physical well-being... It was her mental well-being that needed worrying. ANYWAYS.

Ohh. This girl was cool! She had the neon hair and everything. Macy was sad to say that she hadn't yet gotten a chance to dye her hair an awesome color this year *TEAR* Though her hair was still pretty awesome in it's natural-ness. "I'm Macy." Yeah. Just thought she'd clear that up.

Kana smiled when the girl got up. Yay! A nice person... or so she seemed. Pfft. She proly was. She dusted off the bit of dirt on her clothes.

"I'm Kannalynne-- Kana for short," she introduced, then gestured to the tree. "I take it you're not much of a climber? Or is it just not your day?" Every day was Kana's day when it came to climbing. She was like... part-squirrel. She practically spent her whole childhood in trees.

The girl's hands were red from the fall. OWCH. Ground burn. She gestured to her hands. "If you put Manuka Oil in some oatmeal and set your hands in it for five minutes or so, they won't sting so bad." Yeah. She had experence with getting hurt...

Mmm, Kana. Prettyy. "Nah, just something about fall makes me really clumsy. Prolly all the colors to distract my attention," Macy guessed. Yeah. That was probably it. She did get distracted easily. Mneh, well, not her fault.

The fourteen year old gazed down at her hands. D: WHAAAAAAT?! Hmm. She must not have felt it quite as much as she could see it.

"Ohh. Thanks," she agreed. Right. She'd have to remember that. This was one smart kid. At least she'd been right about her being cool. Cool hair always equals cool personality. That was how it worked.

"So if you don't mind my asking, what year are you?" Macy asked, prodding just a little bit for information. Besides, it wasn't like she was asking where the girl lived or anything. That would be creepy. And Macy wasn't creepy... usually. Unless she was really hyped up on sugar and decided to follow somebody around with a camera. Yeah, that happened one time.

OHEY! Riley was here too! Braeden greeted his fellow Gryffindor with a grin and a nod before turning to the blonde girl that was approaching him at that moment. She looked specially pretty this evening… was there something special going on? Actually, now that the boy looked around, everyone was looking a little neater than usual. Not that his friends were messy people or anything, but… they were quite the group tonight.

And then, before Braeden could question anyone on this, a banner rolled down from the ceiling and the boy's brown eyes went wide as saucers as he read the text.
OHMYGOSH IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Yeah, leave it up to Braeden to forget why his mum had sent him cookies through the mail earlier that morning.
Like the big doof he was, Brae couldn't stop grinning as he watched the place suddenly become brighter and more colourful, two cakes and a few other treats now filling up the table that had fascinated the boy so much earlier. His brown eyes sparkled at the sight of so much yummy food, and before he could hop onto the table and devour it all, his friends were all shouting out together - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It was impossible for Brae to wipe the stupid grin off his face now. How could he, when all the puzzle pieces were fitting together so nicely now that he figured out what was going on… his friends had arranged a surprise birthday party for him! It was… it was… SO NICE. The boy even got a little teary-eyed for a brief second there before just turning completely overwhelmed. How did he even begin to thank them for the wonderful gesture?

"Wow… you guys…" the Gryffindork examined all the different, familiar faces with sparkling eyes. "You… you… you got me cake!" he nearly cried. Yeah, 'cause forget the decorations and everything else, right? It's the cake that matters. Typical Brae. Wanna make him happy? Give him something sweet and fattening. "And two of them!" He could almost cry tears of joy right about now.

Just as Riley had arrived one of the Slytherin girl's who had no doubt been hosting this suaree decided to flick her wand and the natural world as peacefull as it was, became a explosion of lights sounds and cake.

Riley's eyes widened and he ducked quickly afraid something was exploding and going to harm him and the others. After all of the things fell into place and everyone was shouting suprise, Riley was able to stand up normal and realize no one else had experience the mini-freak out he just had. "Suprise Brae!!!" he said with a wide grin towards his good friend.

Everyone was able to say suprise, including Riley, except for Theo. What was wrong with that kid? "What was that Theo?" he grinned teasingly. Maybe he would repeat it for everyone to hear?

In the meantime of bothering Theo, Riley noticed some Ravenclaw chick (sarahkbarrett) checking him out and he gave her a little nod and flashed a grin. Ahhh he was used to that by now.

Theodore was slightly taken aback when Riley spoke to him. "Hi to you, too," He mumbled, before quickly realizing that Riley was right. Bloody Ruby had made him forget to even greet the man of the hour! His anxiety was getting the better of him tonight, and the two antagonists in the room definitely were helping. "Yeah, surprise, mate!" He grinned, opening his arms in what was supposed to be a welcoming manner but just came out looking plain weird.

Side-eyeing the only female Gryffindor in the room, and seeing that she was keeping an unblinking gaze on him, the Ravenclaw sidled toward the table and figured that the only way to separate himself from his unwarranted haters WHO CAN'T HANDLE HIS RAVENCLAW SWAG 8D would be to address the other people at the fiesta. "So, guys!" He clapped his hands together, standing near the cakes. "I think this celebration calls for some music, yes? And maybe we can cut the cake soon? I mean..." He glanced from Emma to Braeden, "As long as the hostess and the birthday boy are alright with that."

Caroline quickly dropped her hand, what the heck? Did this girl get sorted into the wrong house or something? She should a Slytherin. She was just like most of her house mates. wrinkling her nose up and sticking it in the air rather slobbishly, she turned around quickly and walked over to the table. Pfff. She could give her the Slytherin treatmeat. She was here only because it was Braeden's birthday. But it was nice to meet two very nice girls.

Caroline laughed at Braedens expression over the suprise party and Theo's crazy arm waving? Or was it dancing? She didn't hear any music.

Of course Brae was grinning like a goofy loon. Like always. What was he going to cry? He better not because she would cry too. And she had done enough of that in the past few days. She was done with it. She walked over to Braeden. "Happy Birthday, Brae!" As she gave him a hug. She wasn't sure if she would be staying much longer she had tons of homework to work on. anyway She grinned happily as she handed over a gift bag, with his present inside. It was the perfect gift for her movie obsessed friend, Especially since he likes to write movies.... sceenplays? whatever they were called. "And I made one of the cakes for you as well. It's all chocolate."

Freya smiled grew bigger when she noticed the excitement in Ari voice. "That's very comforting to hear." she chuckled. "Have you go to Hogsmeade yet?" she asked. If she's not mistaken now was the Hogsmeade weekend. She recall that Ari asking her about that in the Diagon Alley. "Special locket?" she raised her eyebrows. Hmm..no wonder its locked hence the special. "Umm..I only know one." What was the incantation again? Oh yeah. "Defigo. That's the only one I knew." she said with an apologetic smile.

"Well. I'm not in myself during the try outs." she sighed. "But I'm still on the reserve team." at least that cheer her up. "Sooo..I noticed that I still don't know which house you're in." she asked changing the subject but she's curious where that hat put Ari in.

"Ah." Kana nodded, her whispy hair moving slightly with the motion. She smiled slightly at her explination, wondering for a moment if she was just trying to cover for not being a climber.

"Not a problem. I got a lot of scrapes when I was little. I still get them now sometimes, especially with the cold weather. That's why I have these," she briefly held out her hands, palms up, and looked to the beaten leather gloves.

She looked back up when the girl inquired about her year. "Frst year. Ravenclaw," she added, realizing she wasn't wearing anything that indicated her house. "Pleasure to meet you." Manners. She has them.

And Ruby didn’t shake Caroline’s hand? That was.. rude. Well rude to a Slytherin. Number one rule of Slytherin House, respect. She gave Caroline a sympathetic look and gave her a small smile. Not to worry about Ruby. Sure, Ruby could be a bit icy but Emma thought she was genuine at heart. Yet, Emma had this weird feeling in her stomach like something bad was going to happen to someone. She ignored the feeling and kept the smile on her face.

The blonde giggled slightly. That was too cute. Emma grinned as Braeden was smiling a smile of pure happiness The blonde smiled at all the other guests. She was glad that Brae was so happy. He needed a party to help him. The blonde glanced over at Ellie and shone her a smile, hopefully this would get Ellie's mind of off things that had been bothering poor Ellie. Yet, Emma’s mind was fixed on that thing....... Hmm... Emma turned to Brae. Speaking of Ellie, she noticed the guy Ellie was flirting with smile back at her. Go Ellie! “Caroline made the spectacular Movie one,” explained Emma, smiling at Caroline.

The Malfoy turned to Theo, who had suddenly appeared by the cakes. Music? Now that was a brilliant idea! She nodded and grinned. "Brilliant idea Theo! Yep, I agree. But birthday boy what is your wish?" she exclaimed. Gosh, birthday parties were a lot of fun.

Ellie grinned at Braeden's reaction to his surprise birthday party. She clapped a few times just for the heck of it as his grin stretched across his face. He almost looked like he was about to cry. "Happy Birthday, Brae!" She told him again. Walking over to him, he extended her arms out for him to hug her. In one of her hands she held his present. "It's kind of lame, but I thought you may like it." Ellie said sheepishly with a shrug. After all, he did say he spent his summer making documentaries.

Noticing the older Gryffindor boy again, she witnessed his panic attack as the birthday decorations were unleashed. While he was regaining his balance, Ellie looked back at Emma to see that she was grinning at her. She shot a wink back and focused her attention back at the older lion boy, who was standing up straight now. Ellie almost blushed when he grinned at her, but she managed to keep her cool as she sauntered over there to stand by him.

It was a game, after all.

A light smirk brushed her lips. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Ellie." She said smoothly, extending her hand out for him to shake. It was all innocent flirting and she didn't really expect anything out of it. After the party, she'd probably only see him in the halls anyway. So she decided to make some fun out of this.

Macy nodded. OH! Climbing gloves! That was a good idea. You know, for as much as she climbed trees, it was a wonder she didn't have any yet.

"Fourth year. Slytherin," the girl replied. "Nice to meet you too." Ahh, politeness. They were done with the formalities? She hoped so, she was still just itching to see the inside of the massive tree house. "Shall we go up then?" Macy asked. Hopefully her lack of an attention span wouldn't interfere with her climbing this time.

... It probably would. She just hoped it wouldn't. Ahh well, always the dreamer.

Kana looked up the tree and gave Macy a wry smile. "You can have the ladder," she teased as she sprinted up to the tree.

She climbed three of four steps up the ladder before scrambling to the opposite side of the tree. It was only her first year, and it was only a month or two into the term, but she already knew the tree pretty darn well. Pressing her hands into the trunk, she looked to be giving it a bear hug until she reached the first split in the tree. Reaching for the branch, she hoisted herself up and sat on it... Just in case Macy would need help.

Emma giggled as Ellie winked back at her. That was too cute. The blonde sighed as she went to her bag to get out Brae's present. It was wrapped in silver and red because those were the only two colours of wrapping paper that she had found in Hogsmeade. Originally the blonde was going for red and gold because Brae was a Gryffindor. She had two presents for him. Inside the present was a cardboard box and inside that cardbord box were three tickets to go to a Movie Festival. So Brae could go with his parents. But she also had a little surprise in there for him.

The blonde walked over towards Brae and stood behind Ellie and Caroline. "Happy Birthday!" she exclaimed and held out the present towards him.

Ruby smirked as the Slytherin girl snobbishly left her since she had refused to shake her hand; now THAT was correct Slythie behavior! She could teach Emma some lessons, ha. The lioness also noticed that Theo had escaped her yet again--he had moved by the cakes. Oh, he wasn't going to get away from her that fast! Ruby flashed him a wicked grin and then moved to the cakes as well; she had business there. And now, it was time.

Slowly, she reached for one of the two cakes that were sitting on the table as the rest talked about putting on some music for the party. Ruby gripped it in her hand and walked right up to Brae, the cake now hidden behind her. "Happy birthday, Brae," She said with a huge grin that was nowhere near sweet and then...

SPLAT!

The cake landed right on target--Brae's goofy face. It dripped with frosting and Ruby, laughing hysterically, scooped up a glob from his face and licked her finger. "Mhmmm, delicious!" Good thing they had two cakes, hehe.
Success.

Funny how she seemed to get the same reaction when she told people that she had gone to Disneyland. "Not exactly. But I guess it's like walking into another world. It's a muggle place that has rides and shows and.." she let out a small laugh..."and it's really hard to explain to someone who knows nothing about muggles. Maybe us girls should go there one day." By girls, she meant herself, Evelyn, Destiny and Marie.

It would be a lot of fun. Mia could show the other three how much fun muggles could be and maybe open their eyes up a little.

"Nik took me to the one in Paris because it was our first year anniversary and he figured we should also do something romantic." Which was all she was going to say. "Did you and Josh do anything for your anniversary?"

So Ruby looked all sweet and Emma smiled, she thought that perhaps this could be a turning point for the redhead. The redhead was behaving to standards, minus the not shaking Caroline's hand.

Emma's mouth dropped to form a perfect "O". Whaaaaaaaaa? Why did Ruby do that? Why would any sane person do that at a person's birthday party? Now this really crossed the line. Ruby wouldn't get away for this. She was easily outnumbered. They could take her if she started throwing more cake, pushing people out of the treehouse, and casting spells.

"Why did you do that?" asked Emma, full of anger. She was appalled. The blonde reached into her purse to find her wand. No one messed with her friends, especially Brae, when it was on his birthday. It seemed as if this untamed lioness needed to learn that lesson.

D: WHHHHAAAAAAT?! NOOOO. Macy was not about to be shown up by an eleven year old.

Thankfully, in addition to being three years older than the girl, Macy was tall for her age and thus had a large height advantage and longer arms. She mimicked Kana by taking the first few steps of the ladder before jumping upwards and reaching towards the branch. Slipping, the fourth year kicked off of a knot in the tree and grabbed the branch full on with both arms. She swung up to sit beside the firstie.

Macy raised an eyebrow before standing up and leaping to grab the next branch and the one after that. She was a good seven or eight feet above Kana before she stopped and called down, "You coming or what?" Mace was a born tree climber babeh.
