The blonde Malfoy had climbed all the way up to the top of the treehouse and had set up the whole surprise party for Braeden. The surprise banner was hidden with a charm. Many things were hidden save one item, which was a long table was covered with a black tablecloth and there were many places at the table. It was a bit hard to move and there wasn't really a place to hide it. The drinks were hidden away too. At least, Braeden's cake was hidden in the Treehouse, behind Emma's bag that she had charmed to make bigger. Now all Emma had to do was to wait for the others to come. She smiled and took a deep breath in and out.

"Now, time to wait for them to come." she explained, sitting on a chair, waiting.

Ellie sneakily made her way up the ladder to the treehouse a smile slowly creeping on her face. When she reached the top and entered, she saw Emma sitting and waiting for the others. "Heeeey" Ellie said with a grin.

In all honesty, Ellie was super excited. She'd never been to a surprise birthday party for and the anxiety was killing her! When would the others get here?!

After walking for nearly fifteen minutes, the snake prefect and Bissy reached the Giant treehouse. It was an extraordinary construction. She was impressed by the view before them. They started climbing the wooden ladders. Going there was a good idea. Yeah, it was. Smelling the leaves of the evergreen trees was awesome.

After taking a few steps, she turned to look at Evan and said smiling: "It's a great place, isn't it, Cartwright? Let's find a room and sit there, right?" She put her hand on Evan's shoulder and kept climbing the stairs.

Tara took the tishue and whiped away her tears.Tara's skin was not as pale anymore, but Tara still felt bad.

"Thank you so much Samira for being so sweet." Tara gave a little grin as she looked at Samira. I knew slythrins weren't mean! Tara thought happily.

"Classes are great so far.My favorite class is Charms." Tara said smiling as she knew Samira didn't want to talk about the problem that had happened. Tara thought that Saw Sean was the weirdest thing she has ever laid her eyes on."Why is the Ministry sending new teachers to our school anyway?Don't they have a little trust in us?" Tara asked a bit angry at this nonsence.

Caroline made her way up the stairs to the giant tree house for Braeden Stonem's suprise birthday party, this was the second suprise birthday party this week. At least for this one she would be more herself than the last one. When she got to the top she seen Emma and Ellie sitting around the table. She didn't really know either of them to well. perhaps only in passing and maybe seeing Emma in the common room since she was a Slytherin as well. Altough Caroline and Emma were probably cousins somewhere down the line since her mum was a Malfoy before getting married. She smiled at the two girls and on other side of Ellie. "Hey!"

The blonde Malfoy looked up and grinned at the sight of Ellie. YAY! She was not alone!! She ran over and hugged her friend tightly. "Heyy! Thanks for coming! Merlin's Beard- this will be fun!" she exclaimed, happily, crossing her fingers. "So how are you?"

Emma was about to ask Ellie something else when Caroline came in. She had seen Caroline in the Common Room talking to Selena (Emma's bestie) last year. Emma felt bad about not introducing herself earlier. She hadn't been out much last term due to her studying but this term she was going to have FUN!

"Hi! Caroline, right? I'm Emma. Thanks for coming!" she exclaimed, grinning happily. "So how are you?"

Theodore warily made his way towards the giant treehouse. His fear of heights had been mostly conquered, but seeing this monstrosity of a playhouse made his nerves rear with slight apprehension. An invitation in his hand, he look around to see if anyone else looked festive or ready to party. He had received an invitation to a surprise birthday party for his good friend, Brae, and didn't even know who had organized it and who else had been invited. It was time to schmooze, whether he liked it or not.

Flipping his right hand up, he looked about and at his invitation once more. Had Theo gone to the wrong place? It was when he saw a group of girls near a table that he thought to grudgingly, embarrassedly ask if they were here for the surprise party. His hands folded behind his back, the sixth year slowly stepped in their direction, biting his lower lip.

The blonde looked up from Caroline and Ellie to see an older boy make his way over towards them. Emma spotted the invitation in his hand and walked towards him. So he could be two people.. He looked familiar.. Emma thought she had seen him around and she luckily she had asked about Brae's friends. "You're coming to the secret party right for Brae?" asked the blonde. Then she went into introducing herself. "Hi I'm Emma- Braeden's babysitter.. and this is Ellie and Caroline." she explained, pointing to the girls next to her. Yep. "And you are... Theodore?" she asked, taking a random guess. Hopefully this was Theo and not someone else. Cause if it wasn't Theo that would be awkward. :/

Caroline was very excited about Brae's party. She had gotten the perfect gift for him. She must have been so excited, that she forgot that she had a cake still in her hands. She smiled again. [B]"Yep, I'm Caroline. Emma, the famous bestie of a certin Miss Riddle-Zabini?" Selena always talked about her bestie Emma. "So I bet that makes you.....Ellie, right?" She looked at the darker haired girl.

Now thinking about Selena made Caroline miss her sugar-crazed friend. "I bought that other cake." She sat it on the table, that little cake was heavy. "And a present." She held up a gift bag, not sure where to put the presents. She could here someone coming over toward the girls. "Hello Theo" Caroline gave him a encouraging wave that he was , she was sure that he gotten an iniviation considing she seen it in his hand.

The blonde grinned widely at Caroline. She turned a light shade of pink as Caroline mentioned famous. SEL! Her heart dropped. SHE MISSED SELENA!! Her bestie.. Silly pureblood mothers.. Grr..

Turning her attention back to Caroline, she laughed. "No, I don't think I'm famous. But she was and is my best friend ever since our first year at Hogwarts." she explained, beaming Caroline a smile. Emma's warm brown eyes glanced at the cake. Oooh!!!! THAT WAS SOOO COOL! It was a really sweet idea because Braeden loved the movies. Then Caroline was mentioning a cake. The blonde nodded. "Perfect! Lovely. It's wonderful Caroline! Let's put it over here." she exclaimed, pointing to a hiding spot. She turned around to face Caroline. "So what year are you in?"

Ellie grinned and embraced Emma in her hug. GYAAHH, she was so excited shelovedpartttiiiesss. Even though she had only been to, like... two. Oh well. "I'm doing much better. And yourself?" She asked her little Malfoy friend with a smile.

Out of the corner of her eye, Ellie saw another figure emerge onto the scene. She saw the curl-haired figure of her fellow Ravenclaw, Theo walking awkwardly towards them. Ellie couldn't help but feel a tad bad for him. He was probably going to be the only boy, besides Braeden himself. "Hey Theo! Welcome to the party." She told him with a smile.

Her eyes led back to Caroline. "Yes, I'm Ellie. Nice to meet you." She said, holding her hand out for the Slytherin to shake. She had known who Caroline was, being friends with 2348725823 Slytherins, but she'd never actually talked to her before, until now.

Ellie rocked a little on her heels. "So when's the birthday boy getting here?"

The older Slytherin smiled as Emma told her that her and Sel had been friends since they started Hogwarts. She laughed, a bit. "That's cool. Sel is a great frined. Were both lucky to have her as one. I'm a sixth year, I take it you're a fourth since the two of you were friends since first year." She nodded and smiled "I hope the cake looks okay, I thought Brae would like it." I mean come on Braeden Stonem, and cake. He would love no matter what. It was cake. Maybe Kurumi wasn't the only baker at hogwarts

Caroline shook Ellie hand. "It's nice to meet you"Caroline didn't know but a handfull of Ravenclaws. So it was nice to meet one. She had seen Ellie around with some Slytheirns that she knew. She was wondering the same thing as Ellie asked, when was the birthday boy getting here. She turned to look at Emma for the anwser.

Ruby stopped--was this the right place? She had stepped into a fricking' TREEHOUSE. Making a face at the surroundings, she stepped inside and inhaled. There were a bunch of overexcited girls standing around a table, and over in the corner was--THE CURLY-HAIRED KID! Guh. Why was she here again? Oh yeah, because she wanted to throw some cake in Brae's face.
Gripping her 'present' tightly in her hand, as well as her invitation, Ruby walked up to Emma and grunted. "Guess I'm at the right place, eh?" She said grumpily. Who had birthday parties in treehouses anyway? So childish. But then again, they were celebrating the birthday of a CHILD. Grumble, grumble.

Since Goofball wasn't there yet, Ruby turned to his curly-haired friend instead. She eyed him closely, wondering what kind of person he was...oh wait, she had already established that was he childish and immature like Brae. No wonder they were friends.

"Nice to, erm, meet you, Emma." Theodore smiled, waving meekly with his free hand. Braeden's babysitter? That was something intriguing. It'd be best to save questions for later. "And yeah, call me Theo, won't you?" His grin widened and taking his invite, he stuffed it into the back pocket of his trousers.

Ah! Someone he knew, somewhat. "Hey!" He grinned, glad to have an acquaintance around. "I thought I might see you here." Chuckling softly, he looked down the long empty table. Without food, gifts, and utensils on top of the tablecloth, it looked like they were here for a business meeting rather than a party.

Cocking his head to the side, Theodore hadn't believed he had missed another friend. His eyes were going bad; she was the only brunette in the small sea of blondes! "Ellie!" He cheered, glad to see her again. They hadn't crossed paths since their meeting in the courtyard. "You know, you still owe me that wizard chess game." Smirking softly, he turned to look over his shoulder to check for others that would arrive. Hadn't Rod or Riley been invited? This party was definitely overflowing with estrogen, for now.

Theodore's mild joy was deflated upon the sight of the only ginger around for a few meters: Ruby. Had she come here to add a broken arm to the blodoy nose that she gave Braeden weeks before? Why was she even here? For Merlin's sake, she had even gotten a gift? Her presence puzzled him endlessly. Unconsciously taking a step back toward the wall of the treehouse, he glanced back and forth from the redhead to the table multiple times, not sure of whether to speak to her or not. Would his silence anger her or keep her temper in check? Only Merlin knew.

Forcing himself to stop being immature, he made an effort to smile, although it came out as a grimace, and waved weakly. Hopefully she wouldn't dare hurt him in front of the other girls.

Ruby's stare turned into a glare as the boy tried to smile at her and then waved. Didn't he understand they were NOT on friendly terms here?! Looking past her as if he was perhaps waving to someone else, Ruby raised one eyebrow. "You waving to me, boyo?" She said in an offended tone, and walked slowly up to him so that they were face to face. She had also noticed that he had backed up against the treehouse wall when he glanced her--this made her extremely happy. FEAR MEEEE.

Theodore held back, his hand reaching for his wand. "Erm, yeah," He muttered, glancing down momentarily before regaining the courage to look her in the face. Why was she so vicious?! What had he ever done to her?! "Hi." He breathed, praying that she wouldn't smack him right then and there. Sidling away ever so slowly, his eyes locked on hers, the sixth year had to do everything to keep himself from hiding under the table. No girl had ever evoked such fear in him before; it was quite unnerving.

Ruby watched him as he reached for his wand and her eyebrows rose even higher. There was no need for that, it was all fun and games...right? Of course, Ruby could do just as much damage without her wand but only if she was provoked. But little Curly here hadn't done anything wrong...yet.
"'ello." She followed him slowly as he was sliding away from her--how cute. The poor boy looked like he was about to wet his pants. "So. How old is your pal turning today? One?" She snorted at her joke.

Theodore exhaled with slight relief as she greeted him, seemingly with reluctance, finally. Clearing his throat, he slightly rose an eyebrow in her direction as she snorted at her own little jokes about his friend. "Erm... sixteen, seventeen, something like that?" Although he would have never admitted it, Theo knew she was right. The Gryffindork was a bit immature, too much for his own good, sometimes. Thus, he couldn't be completely unnerved with the ginger. "What'd you, erm, bring him?" He asked, attempting to be casual as he nodded in the direction of the gift that she held. The Ravenclaw had an odd feeling that the gift was a knuckle sandwich disguised as a pretty present.

He sounded as if he was just throwing around numbers here. What kind of friend was he?! Ruby rolled her eyes at his response; she didn't even know his name. "Oh, this?" She asked, holding up the present when he asked about it. It was a small-ish package wrapped in pink wrapping paper that was adorned with sparkly unicorns. Grinning her trademark Ruby grin, she said, "You'll see." Better get on with business, though.
"And what's your name, Mrs. Goofball?" She would have been delighted if he remembered her's--it wasn't easy to forget if you remembered her dark red hair.

The blonde grinned happily as Ellie told her that she had been doing a lot better. Yay! "That's great! I'm going well, I made the Quidditch Reserve Team. So that's a good start." she explained, grinning from ear to ear.

She turned to face Caroline and grinned. "That's awesome. Yes, we are. Wow, big sixth year? Nice. Yes, I'm quite young. I'm still a fourth year," she chuckled. WOAH- the blonde was the youngest one here easily... The blonde nodded. "Well, I think he's going to love it!" she exclaimed, meaning it with all her heart.

And then Ellie mentioned when the birthday boy was getting here. She checked her watch before replying, "Hopefully.. soon." And then Emma crossed her fingers.

The blonde looked up and gave Ruby a welcoming smile. Hopefully she wouldn't throw Braeden off the treehouse.... "Yep, so welcome. I see that you've met Theo. Do you know Ellie and Caroline?" she asked the redhead.
The blonde laughed as the boy smiled back at her and introduced himself. Hopefully he wasn't too shy! "Nice to meet you to. Of course, Theo!" she grinned. The blonde checked her watch quickly and glanced up at Theo and Ruby. No fighting... Emma bit her lip. "Sooooooooooooo... What year are you in Theo?" asked Emma.

Braeden had never ever been to the treehouse before. Which was rather sad, seeing as he was such an overgrown child and he loveeeed treehouses. However, his clumsiness always managed to ruin the ride somehow. And that was just the case when he arrived to the enchanted treehouse with a huge purple bump on his forehead. He'd fallen down while making his way up. It wasn't enough to wipe that goofy grin off his face though. Emma had sent him a note asking he come meet her here, and he was pretty excited to get that tour of the treehouse she'd promised him.

OHEY! There was Emma!
"Ems!" the dorky boy waved an arm in the air to catch the girl's attention. He was just about to make his way over when he noticed a head full of fiery red hair. Oh no… could it be… "GYAH!" He jumped back a step at the sight: RUBY. Wha--wha-- what was she doing here?! Was she waiting for him?! Oh Merlin, she was going to push him out the treehouse wasn't sh-- Oh! THEO!! Theo was there! Oh, thank Merlin. He'd save the hopeless Gryffindork for sure. Braeden sighed in relief and smiled at his friend before noticing - Ellie and Caroline were there too! Whoa! It seemed everyone was in the treehouse tonight. Huh. So this was like… some special secret club he'd been missing out on?!

It must've been, because there was a long table in one side. They must've held their super secret club meetings there. "A table!" Yeah, leave it to Braeden to get all excited to find a table. Because tables were just that special and unusual.

"So what're you guys doing, just hanging out?" asked Braeden as he looked around at the sea of familiar faces. This was kinda weird, he'd never really been with more than one of his friends at a time, yet here they all were, together, in the same place, being friends with each other. It was hard to wipe the foolish grin off the boy's face now.

Riley was not really a fan of Suprise Parties and never had been ever since they suprised his older Brother at his 17th and it resulted in him jinxing his mother down the stairs. Yeah suprises weren't always a good thing. Dressed in a white polo with khaki shorts, the seventh year Gryffindor made his way to the Treehouse where Brae's party was set to be.

Upon arriving he noticed there were some poeple already there and that he was a bit late. And then Braeden was there!!

O____O He was a little more than a little late!!

He snuck up behind the boy and then caught site of Theo, the dork Brae had become friends with and was assumed his new friend...sort of. He grinned as his friend Braeden began to wonder what was going on.

Emma looked up from Caroline and Ellie to hear someone calling her name. She uncrossed her fingers and her smile grew bigger as she recognized the voice. Speaking of Braeden, he was here and he was waving at her. "Braeden! Welcome!" she exclaimed, walking over towards him and giving him a hug. She nodded as he mentioned the table. She looked at Ellie, Caroline, and Theo. "Yep... we're all just chilling." she added seriously, trying to keep the wide grin off her face, but it wasn't working. The smile still snuck onto her face as she glanced at him. Ahem. She noticed an older Gryffindor walk in and she waved at him. Good. Now hopefully everyone was here... thought Emma. Then she proceeded on to unveil the cunning surprise! She smirked her signature Malfoy smirk as she took her wand out of her pocket. The blonde flipped some of her hair behind her shoulder and she flicked it into the air...

AND.... (Drum roll please )....

The room's lights became brighter and a banner which read: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAEDEN" rolled down from the ceiling. Smaller yellow and red banners travelled their way across the ceiling like crawling rivers. The drinks, chips, popcorn, dips, candies, and the other food appeared on the table. And at the center of the table were two cakes. The movie themed one was made by the one and only Caroline, the famous Slytherin master chef. And it looked absolutely delicious! The other was a plain vanilla cake, which was iced with chocolate and was decorated with raspberries and strawberries. Yep, the cakes were ready and the surprise was coming to the end.....

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" she exclaimed loudly and grinning happily, and hoping that he'd like it.

Wow... the same treehouse of the one he visited with Fallon, but somehow it looked better. Or maybe he had forgotten how it looked that he thought this one was better. Shrugging, he agreed with Bissy. "Yes, it's pretty..." And he had to come here at sunfall with Mina. It would be very romantic and such...

Following Bissy, they climbed to the house and he turned to look at her, asking what now? He wondered if it was charmed again in case someone fell down... probably... though, he wasn't keen on trying it.

As soon as Brae walked into the treehouse, Ellie fell silent and looked past Emma to him. She couldn't hide the grin on her face, she was never good with surprises. Heheh, yeah just chillin. All of Braeden's friends just happen to be in the same place at the same time. Not suspicious at all. Just after Braeden walked in another older boy, whose name she had forgotten. Oh haaay, cute boy at twelve o'clock. Ellie thought to herself. *cough* Right, back to the party.


When Emma lifted the charms off so the birthday decorations could be seen, Ellie's jaw nearly dropped to the floor. They were amazing! She almost couldn't believe how much effort she put into this surprise party. Ellie looked back at Braeden. "Happy Birthday, Brae!" She exclaimed, right after Emma.
