Zara grinned as they all had their very own versions of the song. Hihih, really though it's nice to sing with friends. Just hanging out and all that. So maybe this stinky homework had its purpose.

Zara looked over as a girl who seemed quite sad sat somewhere far from the other students. She decided to go near the girl so she stood up from where she sat and approached her. "Hi," she smiled as she greeted the girl. "Mind if I sit beside you?"

"Hi!" Zara randomly waved at the girl and grinned widely. Oh well it was worth a try right? Maybe she could make friends like this, just randomly talking to people. Yeah that was a good way to go.

Jade looked down from her tree surprised "Oh, hello" she said, waving. Pulling herself out to the edge of her branch, she jumped off into the tree house. She walked over to a later and climbed down it.

Isobel walked over to the Giant Treehouse and saw a Slytherin. Woohoo. She ran over to the smallish girl-snake and gave her a hug. Hehe. She had lost count. Hmmm, eight? She wondered.

Zara grinned wide. Yey, new friend. Maybe. Hopefully. Possibly.

"Hi!" she waved again. And once the girl was down and in front of her she introduced herself, "I'm Zara. Danielle Zara Griffiths." She said as she held out her hand for a handshake. "First Year, Gryffindor."

"Hello, again" Jade shook Zara's hand "i'm Jade. Jade Gray. First year Snake er Slytherin I guess." She said, smiling. "So um... whats up?" The twelve year old asked.

"The, uh sky?" She smiled, jokingly. Okay, so it wasn't a funny joke. "Just hanging around," that wasn't meant to be a joke, but it sounded like one. Ahhh what was happening to Zara?

Jade giggled "yeah usually, thats cool." Umm uhh "So have ya been up in the tree house yet? Its really fun." She said, brushing the hair out of her face.

Oh.
Judging by the face she just made she had a very strong distaste for her sisters. Being an only child, he couldn't exactly relate. But he could relate to the need to set a dungbomb off on someone that was less than pleasant. "So when are you planning to do that then? The dungbombs."

He smirked when he saw the look on her face. It was funny what people believed. Not that he was one to say. He could be quite the gullible boy. "Of course. Doesn't it just make sense?" He saw her cautiousness with Pebbles and grinned a bit more. Maybe he should give Pebbles another piece of candy so that she could get more nervous near the turtle chewing.

"Well, that happened to me once. He bit me so hard I started bleeding. I had to be a man about it though. Suck it up and all. I don't leave near any donkeys, though, so I had to go walking around with my hand in my pocket so nobody would see Pebbles. It took a couple days before I finally came across a donkey at the muggle petting zoo. I started bothering the donkey until it started braying and the Pebbles finally let go."

Brittany looked up to see a girl who looked to be in her first year. Ahhh she remembered those days and how it was either really fun meeting new people or really intimidating so she smile at the girl. "No I dont mind. Have a seat please." she added. "So is this your first year?" she asked wanting to get confirmation to her guess

Zara smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I've been there just now. I was just heading back to the Great Hall to get something to eat." But now she's got a new friend, maybe she'd go back up and accompany her?

Nodding with a smile, she sat down beside the girl. "Yeah, it is. I'm having real fun here," yeah that eliminated one question of 'How are you liking Hogwarts so far?'

"Oh! And I'm Zara by the way. Danielle Zara Griffiths," she grinned as she extended her arm out for a handshake.

Leaning back against the wall, Evelyn tried to imagine what it would be like if she were in Mia's situation, what with Josh being the one far faaaar away and she being stuck here at Hogwarts. Even in her mind, it wasn't all that great and didn't end well.

Breaking out of her thoughts, the girl blinked and glanced over to Mia. Say whaaa? "You should!" she exclaimed, actually smiling. "I don't think any of us but you really knew him when he was here." And by 'us', she meant Destiny, Marie, and herself. Though Destiny didn't have to meet him of course. She'd probably scare him off with random animal facts and shoving chocolate at him just to make her angry.

So...hmmm. When was the next holiday? "Hogsmeade is come up, right?"

"Yeah you can really lose track of time here." she said with a knowing nod. Everything is so fun and magical at hogwarts, especially for a first year, that you dont really think about home except for your parents. "Its nice to meet you Zara." she said taking the girls hand and shaking it. "Im Brittany Lee, Third year Hufflepuff." she said to zara

Ari smiled, relieved. Freya did remember her. Brilliant. 'It was ok, I just had some family time and a few days with my Muggle friends before coming to school.' she replied. 'Hogwarts is great!' the tiny brunette said without hesitation. 'I love History of Magic, I'm exploring the castle from bottom to top with one of my best friends, I think the food is excellent, I adore spending time on the grounds, and I've been researching a locket with a friend in the library and we came across some interesting results.' Ari went on and on about how great her past few weeks had been. 'But I'm talking too much again. Tell me what YOU did over the past few weeks.'

"Oooh mind if I join you? I was just getting hungry." Jade said, smiling and holding her belly. Preparing to skip like a happy little kid, (which she was) she waited for a reply.

"Nice to meet you too, Brittany," she smiled. Zara was at a loss for words. What could she ask or say to start a conversation? Uhm, "How's Hogwarts for you? You know, these past years that you've been here.

Yeah, that was a good question. Zara wondered if the other students who weren't first years were still amazed at Hogwarts after being there so many years. Maybe some got bored of it? Or maybe not. Maybe some other discovered stuff that always kept them interested in the place. Well, this question would probably answer it.

"Sure," she smiled, glad to have company. "Where do we sit?" Zara asked as she walked together with Jade going back to the Great Hall. Yeah, where would they sit?

Brittany thought about her questions for a minute. She had seen so much in her first two years it was difficult to put in words. From the triwizard tournment in her first year to the whole ministry thing last year. But aside from all that everything was still amazing. "Oh Hogwarts is definetly a magical place for me. It gave me the best experiences abd also the two bestest friends a girl could have." she said smiling thinking about them even though she hadnt seen them in a while "Hogwarts will keep you on your toes." she said with a laugh

Jade thought for a moment "Hmm I guess I could sit at the Gryffindor table." Who would really care, right? "I don't mind" She said, giggling a bit. "Sound okay?"

Smiling, Zara nodded to Brittany. Oohh, two bestest friends a girl could have. "That's nice." She said, thinking of her own best friends. Matt, Thea, and Nessie. Yup, Zara loved them. They were the best, in her opinion.

"Okay..if you want to." She smiled. Zara was ready to sit at the Slytherin Table. She's never been there before, actually. Oh well, maybe next time then. "Yeah, sure." And they were headed towards the Great Hall now.

He hugged her and then bowed his head and folded his hand and asked, "Fee, have you ever really liked someone, been in love with them and not been able to tell them?" He looked at his folded hands. He sighed. "Every time I come close to telling this girl those special words she runs. " he whispered. Hugging his knees to him. He closed his eyes for a minute.

It was hard being this far away from Nikolai and she managed to cope reasonably well because her friends were able to keep her distracted. But Evelyn kinda wasn't doing that right now. Did her friend like to torture her or something?

Was that a genuine smile? Or one that say's 'I am up to no good'? So far Mia had managed to keep Nik to herself and she liked that. She shifted from one foot to the other and chewed on her bottom lip. "No I guess not." she replied. Her friends had been rather surprised when she had told them about her and Nik.

She looked at Evelyn when she mentioned Hogsmeade and Mia let out a kind of tiny whimper. "That's right." And Nik had said that he would come and see her at Hogsmeade. Gah! It seemed that she was not going to be able to put this off. "You will be nice to him, won't you Evelyn?"

So, Hogsmeade was coming up, and since Mia had said nothing so far about Nik not coming, that meant he was going to be there. Teehee, well, they could both count on Evelyn being there then. Perhaps slightly ruining it by being a third wheel but she could just drag along Marie as well. Make it a little even.

"Nice?" she asked, once again, breaking out of thought. "Of course I'll be nice. Why wouldn't I be nice? Jeez, Mia..." Scoffing quietly as if that were an insult, Evelyn pushed away from the wall and started down the corridor of the treehouse to the other end, glancing over her shoulder to her friend. She was following, yes? "So, what's he like?"

Yes, what was Mr. Mysterious like?

Freya laughed a little when Ari told her about her days in Hogwarts. She was relieved that the firstie having a very good time here in Hogwarts. "I'm so happy to hear that you've a great time." she said with a smile. "You said that you were looking for a locket? What locket?" she asked curious.

"Well, mine was not as good as yours. I got a couple Quidditch try out for my house team and its not really good."she sighed. The third year was really disappointed with herself but at least she's on the reserve team.

"Well alrighty then." Jade said, smiling "Off we go!" Beginning to skip, she skipped over to the tree she was in, picked up her bag and skipped back over to her new friend. "Now we can go" She said, giggling.

Zara smiled. "Okie dokie. Let's goo!" She said as she skipped together with Jade.

Obviously Evelyn had forgotten their conversation in Diagon Alley last year when she had first told the Slytherin about her relationship with Nikolai. And while her friend hadn't said much, Mia got the impression that Evelyn didn't seem to like the idea of her seeing Nik. "I...sorry. Just want things to go well." She already wasn't talking to Sal because he and Nik didn't get on.

Mia watched Evelyn for a moment before letting out a little sigh and began following her down the corridor. She couldn't help the small smile that touched her lips when Evelyn spoke again. "He's very charming and quite funny. He likes to cook. He has a sense of adventure." She stopped walking when they reached the end of the corridor and the smile was still on her face. "He takes care of me and he makes me happy." She could go on for hours about how wonderful Nik was but Mia figured Evelyn didn't want to hear it all. "He took me to Disneyland over the summer."
