Multiple GIANT oak trees + multiple GIANT treehouses with many little room and corridors connecting them together, as well as providing easy access to higher areas of the trees. There are also tire swings and climbing ropes and wooden ladders.

Fear of falling? Don't worry about it! The base around the tree has been charmed to act like a cushion, in case you misstep. You'll feel like you've fallen into a pile of the plushiest stuffed animals you've seen.

Previous groundskeeper, Constantine Masterson, donated the blueprints for the treehouse to Mr. Stryker as a present to the students. See, he did care.

Zara grinned, wow, that was a first. She actually sang a whole song. She was having a lot of first's at Hogwarts. "Thanks, you were great too Nessie. Thank you, Kurumi," she said then remembered, "Yeah, Kurumi. Come sing with us."

Deciding Zara wanted another song she asked them, "Nessie could we sing another song? Pleaseee. I wanna know more." She said enthusiastically. This was making her all hyper.

Clambering up into the Treehouse, Ella heard singing. Frowning slightly,Ella squinted and looked over to the corner. She saw Ness and Zara, with another girl. Grinning, Ella wandered over.
'Heeeey! What're you guys doing?' She sat down with them, crossing her legs.

Kurumi's smiled faded for a moment when the two girl's attention was shifted to her.

Her....sing...here...where there were more people around!?

Kurumi's heart began to race, but then she remembered that Zara must have been feeling the same way when she had played the piano in front of her and several students she didn't know. Zara had shown some real Gryffindor courage, and it was due time that Kurumi did the same.

Nodding, nervously of course, Kurumi stood up and took a deep breath. "It's...not an elaborate song like the one you just sang," she explained playing with her hair, twirling it around her fingers and looking at her shoes as she shuffled them across the floor. "It's a song I have sung since I was a child..." And it was a rather sad one..."

Having stalled long enough, Kurumi took a deep breath, closed her eyes (because that always seemed to make performing in front of people easier) and began to sing.

Zara was left speechless by Kurumi's singing. Though she didn't understand the lyrics, her voice was just AMAZING. Plan amazing.

When she was done, Zara's mouth was hanging open. Wow. She clapped so hard that her hands almost felt numb. "PERFECT KURUMI! You're so great!" She grinned as she continued to clap. Really, her voice was great, nothing compared to hers. Ugh, Zara hated her own voice.

Zara hated to admit it but William was right. And she a hundred percent agreeing on that. Honestly, they should have a better teacher, one who can really teach them real DADA. Not exercises. Maybe Lord Borr was purposely doing this so that we couldn't learn DADA. Maybe he's planning something and there's something going on in the Ministry and Hogwarts. Tate wouldn't let that happen, would he? But it seems weird, their Ancient Runes Professor ending class early because of a letter he received. To Zara, it was all becoming clear. Something was happening. Whatever it was, she wanted to find out.

She looked at William, "Ohh, I see," she smiled, trying to keep track with the conversation. This whole Ministry thing has gotten into her brain. "But in any case, you wouldn't mind if next week, I'd do the ballroom with you, do you? I can't think of anyone else who I'd do it with. Though this week I'm doing it with a girl because I just can't find a guy." She smiled, hihi, it was kind of awkward and funny to be dancing with Nika. But it was a nice feeling, sharing laughs with your friends.

Kyle had decided almost on a whim to head back to the tree house after last week's conversation with Matt. She was going to climb the rope again, or at least she was going to try to.

She slowly began to climb the rope, her hands stinging from the harsh texture of the coarse rope. Why did it have to hurt so much? She thought, as her hand slipped down a bit, burning from her near fall.

"Oh god" she squeaked as she nearly fell.

She didn't want to get hurt, not now. Wincing she felt herself slip again, this wasn't good. She was nearly at the top of the rope.

Wrapping her arms, legs, and everything she could think of including all her fingers tightly around the rope she began to cling. Like a monkey or someone afraid of falling onto the enchanted ground below. Even if she wouldn't get hurt the whole concept of falling wasn't her cup of tea today.

And that was just what happened, she slipped. Even after clinging she slipped. And the only thought running through her mind was someone please catch me - and don't let me hurt anyone on my way down.

"Not really." she nodded, still looking down the corridor type way, not at all bothered about what Mia asked. Mostly because Evelyn didn't like to talk. She mostly listened. Well...no. She stayed silent while daydreaming about something else, but at least she didn't whine or look like she was bored. However, with the mention of Josh...all her attention was on her irritatingly nice friend. Teehee, Josh.

"Good." she smiled, crossing her arms somewhat. "Really good. Great actually." Hmmm. "Well, it's amazing really." Giggling quietly, and realizing after a moment or so what she was doing, Evelyn cleared her throat and smiled instead. "I don't remember if I thanked you or not...for persuading me to talk to him last term."

More nice weather and with classes out, Simon headed out on the grounds for some fun with his free time. Yes...the bookworm did allow himself some freedom besides quidditch despite what others especially Josh may thinkand letting his feet and mind wander he found himself heading over to the Giant treehouse. He had remembered it from past years but hadn't been anywhere near it yet this term.

Simon hadn't noticed a familiar presence as he walked beneath the elevated base of the treehouse for she was too high for his vision until Kyle slipped from the rope. The seventh year noticed a falling form as a few feet away and rushed to be beneath her without a thought despite the charming of the ground.

"You ok?....Kyle!" he asked concerned, In his moment of surprise as to who it was mixed with her momentum caused him to loose his balance. He couldn't help feel a little sheepish as he held her until the movement stopped though he didn't know why.

Kyle squeaked as she was quite near the ground, and then something soft, warm and oh-so-human had caught her. Opening her eyes, she blinked it was Simon. Well, she could tell it was him from him asking if she was okay and he sounded shocked really, shocked? That he had caught her.

"I'm fine -" she began to speak and then she noticed he had lost his own balance - luckily for him the ground wasn't hard at all and wouldn't hurt. And the same for her.

"You okay? Sorry if I sh-shocked you there" she laughed, seeing the hilarity that catching her would cause him to topple or even nearly topple over. After all she wasn't that heavy really - unless it was more the shock that caused the sudden loss of balance. Putting those thoughts in the back of her mind she smiled over to him. "Th-thanks for being there - I'll have to give you a proper thanks in a bit" she smiled over to him.

She didn't know how she'd do it at all, maybe a big hug? But could that get awkward from what Hannah said...a kiss on the cheek as people did in France would be way too awkward right now - or so she thought.

Connor closed his eyes for a moment as he waited for for Fee to respond. The wind carried a soft sound to his ears, one that his heart would recognize anywhere. "Kurumi is singing." He murmured softly. He allowed her voice to soothe the savage beast inside him. He allowed a silent tear to fall down his cheek. the song reminded him of his mom whom he missed very much. It also made him want to get up and hug her but he wasn't sure that was a good idea. After all he had promised her space.

"I am," Kurumi nodded blushing a bit. The younger girl said it as if it were some important thing, but Kurumi often felt like she was younger than some of the first years. Especially when it came to certain matter. "Are you a first year?" The was no need to ask about what house she was in seeing as the girl was wearing crimson robes.
