Fee just laughed a little.Everyone seemed to be like that here.Back at home everyone was talking about how slow time someties faded and here it just was like swuuuush."I cant believe i am going to be a fourth yeat oh so soon",she giggled,"sometimes i think someone used a time turner."Did that even make sense?Oh well,to the blonde it did.And if there wasnt a tiem turner to go in the future with she would invent it.Hehe,sounded good."Oh with Freya and Cass",the third year smiled,"they are both Slytherins.I would have celebrated with my boyfriend too but he is a Ravenclaw."What did she do during chrsitmas?Lay around and eat sweets.Giggle."Yeah i totally did",she nodded,"i tend to eat a lot but thats okay its just one time in the year.What about you?"Gladly christmas wasnt the whole year,otherwise Fee would be such a fazzo.Hehe.

Nika nodded as she listened to Selina explain. Her dad was usually working too, but he was only a dentist so it wasn't like Selina's dad at all. She felt bad that her dad wasn't there with her most of the time and it was a little saddening, but maybe one day they'd play on the same team. Besides everyone knows that Selina is going to grow up to play professional Quidditch.

"Woah..." She was the only one in her family that plays football. Unless you count her twenty-three year old second cousin that she's never talked to. He plays the sport too, but he only ever goes to kick around the ball once and a while anyways. Hm.. Who got Nika into football...? "Don't worry I'm sure that if you continue playing you'll make your way up to captain in no time."

Nika was about to ask something else about Quidditch when she realized that's one of the only things she really knows about Selina. Well... That's not right at all.... "I know this is really random, but what's your favorite class?" Hey, if she was going to get to know her better this was a good start. What else was she supposed to ask!?

Oh my goodness!? Fee's going to be a fourth year soon... And Nika's going to be a THIRD YEAR SOON!? They grow up so fast *wibble*. Then when the time-turner-thingy was brought up Nika cocked her head to the side, but quickly straightened it and nodded. "Yeah..." She smiled slightly and pretended as though she knew what that was, but secretly she made a mental note to go and look it up in the library if she ever goes... which we all know she won't. "I don't know Freya, but actually I know Cass!" Yeah, they talked once on the train and then once in the bathroom. She was actually really nice.

Then Nika heard the word. The Word. "Boyfriend". Her eyes grew bigger and she leaned forward a bit. "You have a boyfriend?" It was much of a surprise. Fee was really pretty and she was really nice too. But Nika had no idea that she had a boyfriend. She wanted to know who this guy was. Hehe. "Yeah the feast was great!" Now back to the boyfriend thing *wiggles eyebrows*.

Selina nodded at Nika's astonishment at her family. She couldn't help but giggle a little at the look on Nika's face. She was enjoying this whole funny look thing. It was funny to her in a lot of ways, mostly because Nika looked so funny. But she would never tell her friend that. Friend. That was a word that she had never thought she'd use toward Nika... but she guessed that life just happened. It made Selina smile to herself... friend. She liked the sound of that.

Her favorite class? That was random, "Um I guess Divination, why?"

Nika heard Selina's giggle and suddenly felt very self conscious. Did her skirt go up in the wind, does her hair look funny, does she have something sticking out of her nose!? Then she realized the way she was looking. She quickly closed her mouth that she had slightly opened momentarily and smiled sheepishly. She could suddenly feel the lightest hue of pink burn on her cheeks. Heh Heh. Oops.

Now it was her turn to giggle. Yes, she is very random. "Divination is my favorite class too!" She replied with a big smile. "Well, I dunno it's just that I don't really know too much about you. Other than the few things we went over in first year all we talk about around each other is you playing Quidditch." Yeah, actually that was sort of true.

Simon nodded showing understanding, taking a hold of the drawings to get a better look and what needed to be done. He then handed them to Cove so she could have a quick look before he moved to the wood pile. Finding pieces that looked to fit the first part of what he had chosen to start working on, he picked them up before kneeling on the ground to go to work with the hammer and nails.

Cove took the hammer from the man and also the paper from Simon. She looked over the drawings and then put them back near Mr. Stryker, where they could all see them. She then searched for the right pieces to start building. Once Cove found them, she started hammering. She went along humming in her head the tune to her song.

Selina was taken aback a little, was all they talked about Quidditch? That was never her intention... she seemed to do that with most people, the whole talking about Quidditch thing with Selina. But what else was there to say? Not much, Quidditch was kind of her thing, "I guess that's true. I mean what else should I say? Um, I play the flute, I love sweets... ugh... Merlin! I have nothing else to say," she giggled, "What about you?"

Nika giggled a bit before listening to Selina. "Oh the flute," She had always liked the sound of the instrument, but it looked it required too much air and Nika would probably get tired of it fast. "I play the piano, erm I also play football..." She kicked her foot up in the air as her little demonstration before trailing off. "You're right this is hard... OH! I love chocolate frogs!" A bit too much actually. "And I love to sing." Yeah that was pretty much all she could think of at the moment. "Do you have any siblings?"

She scratched the back of her head when Nika asked about siblings, "Yeah, no. Um I kind of grew up alone most of the time," Selina answered truthfully. Trying to turn the topic away from herself she said, "Well what about you? Do you have any siblings, little miss singer?"

Nika rocked back and forth on her heels slowly. In response to Selina's answer she just gave a small nod. She didn't really know what to say without making things awkward so she was relieved when Selina asked her. Only she didn't really didn't like that question. She loved her sister more than anything, but their relationship at this point was a bit shaky. "I have a sister, her name's May." She said quietly. "She's ten, but she isn't going to go to Hogwarts." She didn't have powers. Nika was still truthfully hoping that they would show up. Maybe they were just late. Maybe they would show up, they had to. It wasn't fair.

Just from the look on Nika's face Selina could tell that her sister had not gained the ability that Nika had. Then again, Nika was the only witch in her family being a Muggleborn so she was not surprised in the slightest. But that could be difficult- being the only child with an extraordinary ability while the other was ordinary. Luckily Seilna didn't have to deal with that because of her lack of siblings and her blood status, but even then Squibs did happen. "Is your sister okay with the fact that your a witch?" Her eyes widened, that was WAY to personal, "Sorry Nika, it just kind of slipped out. You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

"Sorry to bother you" William told Cove. 'Are you mad at me?" William asked Cove.

Cove lpoked up and saw William. "Why would I be mad at you?" She asked. She hammered the last nail in and grabbed some more pieces.

Having been tipped off that he could find Dittany near the entrance to the Hogwarts Grounds, Roderigo, tired and hungry, traversed down the giant, sloping hill towards the great iron gates. Wiping sweat from his brows, the Spaniard screwed up his eyes as he looked around for the large, white flowers that grew on the bushes. After he had obtained the Dittany, he would only need one more ingredient for his Potions homework. As he neared the gigantic gates, Roderigo noticed white flowers poking from the side of the stone wall. He rushed over and examined them. They weren't dittany. Disappointed, he began walking to the other side of gates. He saw more white flowers. Second guessing himself, he reached into his bag and pulled out his Advanced Potion Making book. He flipped through the pages until he reached the page on Dittany. While examining the picture in his book, Roderigo turned his head so that he could look at the flowering white plants that were growing on the side of the gates. They were in fact Dittany. Greatly relieved that he had consulted his textbook, the Spaniard collected the dittany and stood up. It was getting late, but he only needed to get on more ingredient, and he knew he could find them near Professor MacFusty's. Stretching his arms and back, he sighed and began moving back up the long hill.

Her fingers wrapped around the metal bars of the gate as Legend let go and moved away, dark eyes fixed on the ground as a small ray of sunlight danced around the shadows, Katie shifted a little bit. Yeah, she knew he had been doing that. Katie wasn't sure if that made her worry less or more. Surely, they would be fine. They weren't far from entering the big bad world, either. Maybe.. this was sink or swim, for all of them?

Not having responded before, Katie gave a slight nod of her head when Legend began to agree with her. They had accomplished so much in the past six years, that was true. Lifting her head a bit to glance up at him, her eyebrows raised in that look that clearly stated 'Really, Legend?' when he brought up being able to not have to use the bathroom every half hour. It was kind of amusing. Katie's gaze returned to the ground, once again giving a nod of her head. "Yes, it is." Maybe not even a good different, as much as it was a for the best different. She wouldn't be able to handle staying much longer, it was already becoming.. too difficult. "There is no way I'm going to be here when those monsters start school." Definite no, not a chance. Not even if she was paid. Katie didn't want to be around for that.

" WEll, we have not spoken in such a long time" Willam told Cove. "Actually it had been since Rose and I broke up" William said to Cove. "Seems a lot of Gryffindors had given me the silent treatment since my break up with Rose" William explained to Cove.

"Oh, that. No, I've just been busy lately. I broke up with my boyfriend and haven't really talked to a lot of people. Rose came in crying to the dorm one day and I thought you did ssomething but it turned out her pet died back home." Cove shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry that it seemed like I was ignoring you."

" Well, yes, we all have been busy lately" William told Cove. " I am sorry you and yoru boyfriend broke up" William said to Cove. " Well, you are talking to me now and I appreciate it" William explained to Cove.

With Hissy Fit now back at her feet and looking very annoyed at the fact that they were still outside, Sierra combed the grounds in search of more potions ingredients. She'd waited until the last minute to do the assignment, so she didn't have much choice but to stay outside until she'd gathered at least five items. She only had two now, so she wasn't looking to go inside anytime soon. Plus, she still had to drop the ingredients off in the storeroom before calling it quits for the day.

"I know. I'm ready to go, too," Sierra whispered to her kneazle. Just then, she caught a glimpse of a plant she identified as nettle. It'd been on the list, too, but before she made a grab for it, she slipped on a pair of gloves she'd had stashed away in her bag. Nettles were known for there stinging hairs, after all. She scooped up the nettle and placed it into a bag of its own. She didn't want Lafay to reach into her bag and accidentally grab a hold of a stinging hair-plagued leaf. She stashed this extra bag inside of the first one and then left the front gate area.

Cove smiled. "I'm trully sorry." She said scincerly. "Well, I have to get back to work, on this. I'll see you in the common room, okay?" She said. She didn't want to get in trouble with Mr. Stryker.

" Everything is ok now " Willaim told Cove. 'See you in the common room" William said to Cove. " Or the lake?" William asked Cove.

"Okay, good." Cove said smiling. "I'll probably see you in the common room." She said.

Apparently, Evelyn wasn't kidding herself when she thought about walking around the entirety of the grounds. Also, apparently she shouldn't leave homework to the last minute either, otherwise, everyone takes all the ingredients you need! Pffft.

Already tired of searching for random things, and thinking that perhaps she missed something and forcing herself to NOT go back and look again because that would just waste time, Evelyn instead busied herself with levitating the flowers she picked in the student garden. Why? Because it was fun. That's why.

Now that she was thoroughly distracted, she hadn't even noticed that she made it to the front gate of the school. Huh. When did she get here? Moving over to the gate, she stared through the iron bars, but, something else caught her eye. Something scooting along one of the bars near where she stood. She almost missed it considering it was practically the same color, but there it was in all it's creepiness. A caterpillar. 'Fixating' the flowers in the air, she pulled out her list and glanced at it. Yup, caterpillars were there.

Taking out another small, empty jar, she reached up and held it under the caterpillar, before poking it with her wand to make it drop. No...no don't hold on tighter- STOP moving you darn caterpillar! EEEEK! IT WAS ON HER HAND! GEt it in the jaaar! GET IT! GET- pfft.

She hated tiny creatures.

Chad smiled as the two students got to work on hammering the tables together. He, himself, got started on putting the benches for the tables together. "Oi, Madame Donovan, are you daydreaming over there?" He grinned at the two students. These were for her library, after all. It only made sense that she helped out a little. Just not with hammering.

" Well, you better get back to work" William told Cove. 'See you in the common room" William said to Cove.
