CeCe slowly let go and smiled...Cheeks still yet, she smiled and nodded.."Correct...Amiga means Friend in spanish..."

"I know..We aren't close or anything..But now that we know we both have something to work on together..To be better personas in the end...I think it's good that we can work on ourselves together..That way we don't have to take on life completely alone.."

Once all the agruement was gone, the girls weren't biting each other..They shared a awkward friendship, but didn't most friendships start out as something awkward and turn into something that bloomed bright red, with love and warmth surrounding them as the experiences they shared will never be forgotten.They had done the worse, CeCe believed, they had been in the eye of the storm these past months and now...They were new people with each other, a new leaf..

Selina shifted her weight between her two legs as she tried to wrap her head around the concept of being amigas, she meant friends. She could not think of one time that the two had not ended up at each other's throats like Dracula in the Playboy Mansion. But not fighting was nice. She didn't seem so well BLEH when she wasn't being all defensive.

"So start over... again?" They had done this once before in the Common Room but it had ended in War, "Except this time really start over?"

"Yeah..Hopefully it will be our ultima ( last ) start over..We've started over many times but it has never worked out best for us..Let's just hope we don't butt heads soon.."Cece chuckled, rolling her own eyes at her own comment.

Presley place both hands on separate bars of the gate, and looked out. There was a whole world out there that she wasn't allowed to explore. She just wanted to go somewhere that wasn't swarming with students, and run ten miles. Running was the most comforting thereputic thing in the whole world. Running with other people nearby didn't give her quite the same feeling of security. She felt trapped. Not that she didn't love Hogwarts with all of her heart, but she'd been here three months, trapped inside the same walls and the same gates, surounded at all times by people. Presley needed so badly for the holidays to come faster. She wasn't sure how much longer she could deal with this. Maybe she should go do some homework now. It would take her mind off of this problem. But she'd finished all of her homework already, and written her dad, and gone exploring, and went flying. There was nothing else to do. So Presley sat down by the gate, and pulled her knees close to her, and thought about warm beaches, and hot sand. She hadn't heard back from her father, but hopefully holiddays this year would be spent somewhere warm. They had talked briefly about the Bahamas...Presley only hoped that maybe on vacation, he would ask about school and her friends, talk to her about what he had been doing, and most of all spend time with her. It had been years since her dad had asked how she was doing and really meant it. So Presley sat, and looked out the gate into the whole world that was outside.

She WAS a happy badger and it showed through her messy hair, a tired smile crossing her lips as she looked at him from her awkward position on the ground. Which was starting to get a bit cold, or was that just her?

Around the castle... she smiled a bit more and nodded her head. That was good. They weren't waiting forever and a lifetime til the next Hogsmeade visit. Which was forever aways. Arya was counting. "I was just curious." Really, she was. Not the I'm gonna spy on you kind of curious either. She knew Treyen would tell her the important stuff, so that really wasn't necessary.

Her stomach growled and she lazily went into a backwards roll to rise to her feet. "Come on, we have a deal. I ran so now you eat." And they could finish talking over pancakes and eggs and muffins. YUMMY. She offered him a hand.

Selina laughed, "Well in my defense I was, okay yeah last time start over. Promise."

She stopped laughing and then said seriously, "So CeCe, no offense, but why are you here? What brought you to Hogwarts?"

"Start over completely."
CeCe took a slow breath as she realized Selina would be the first to know.."Well..Even though I wasn't the star of the show I still got a bit bigheaded..So my parents sent me here...Well after they figured out the whole witch thing..No...Actually I'm lying about the parents part..They hurt me several times..My auntie took me in, then realized I was traumatized by all the hits I got. She thought the best way for me to try and forget this all was to let me go to Hogwarts..Auntie Rosa took me in, fought with my parents and she won and let me go away to Hogwarts..

Hogwarts is my escape from my parents..From my past and everything that had happened while I have been living there...Esto is my paradise..To be away from all the pain I had to suffer...All the humiliation and the catcalls from my parents and friends.."CeCe explained. That really was her main reason for going to Hogwarts, to escape all the pain she had gotten back in the day.

Selina listened intently as CeCe spoke about the journey that brought her to Hogwarts. When CeCe talked about the abuse of her parents Selina flinched. So many people at Hogwarts had abusive parents. She could not even imagine what it was like to grow up in that kind of environment. CeCe finished her speech and Selina returned, "I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. Seriously, no one should have ever have treated you like that. I hate the fact that you now have a notion that parents are bad. Not all of them are, I promise."

She awkwardly patted her on the back and said, "But hey with the bad comes to good. You came here for a reason right? That has to count for something at least."

To try to lighten the mood Selina joked, "My family's been in Gryffindor for ages. I'm boring. We just all kind of show up at eleven."

Cece could tell it was hard for Selina to show some love. First of all they had never been the best of friends, and Selina looked like the tough type so she had been going out of her own way to make CeCe feel better, which she appreciated.

Si. I know not all parents are bad..Adam's parents, just like mine are kind of the same..But they aren't bad people..I think that's why we get along..We share the same type of parents- kind of.You must have good parents..Raised you right.

Yes, I did come. And here I am now..Hopefully finding a better life and becoming a stronger person in the end."CeCe nodded. She hadn't told anyone about that part of her life, not even Adam knew. So in a way CeCe was letting out all her fears and confiding it in Selina.That was difficult and a honor for Selina.

You're not boring don't say that. You stand up for what you believe in and tell people- or at least me- the truth and what you think...That's not boring. It's very special not many people have that ability.."

Selina giggled a little at CeCe's comment about Selina's ability to tell people what was on her mind, "Don't feel so special. I'm blunt with everyone. Always have been that way and probably always will be that way. Not my fault though... I'm just, well, a very open person with my opinions." It was true. Call it what you want but Selina was unafraid to speak her mind... ever.

No importa..It doesn't matter..I don't care about being special..I don't want to feel special anymore because of everything that's happened..I want to feel normal for once..

So who are your friends that you are opened with?"CeCe commented on Selina. She should be proud to have such a quality..Not many people had it, and if they did, they probably went through hours of thinking the whole thing through. CeCe felt like Selina just spoke her mind front and center.

Curious. Okay. Yeah. That seemed like a fair answer. Badgers were curious creatures anyway.

Treyen simply nodded, and then eyed her as she started to get up. That's right! They still had classes to attend to! And...OH. Arya was talking about breakfast. Right. They also needed that. "Good. Yes, let's get going," he said, with a smile, as he took up her hand. There was no need to do so, but he took it anyway as he rose to his feet.

"Running again, right?" he chuckled, clearly joking, "Yes, I know, we walk," the boy said, adding a wink at the end.

Off to the Castle, then.

Selina answered shortly and bluntly, "Everyone."

She laughed a little and continued to explain, "Strangers, best friends, enemies- especially enemies, little old ladies, babies... I'm blunt. Not always a good trait because people like sugar coating. But why sugar coat something? It's only a hindrance. And it's kind of annoying. Some girls are like do you think he likes me? If he doesn't why should I say yes? That only ends up hurting more in the end.

"True, it's not always the best things. I fight with people more often than the average person. But hey it's only the truth that comes out of my mouth. My brother Adam used to get so mad at me because I was so blunt with him. His girlfriend, Kurumi, was always so sugar coaty with him. Drove me mental."

CeCe couldn't help but laugh at Selina's simple yet meaningful answer.

You fight with babies and old ladie..How could you..J.K..."CeCe laughed it off, lightly taping Selina on the shoulder because of her comment.

The day had turned out from them biting their necks, to a sad moment to a more happy and cheerful ending. Weird how some things in life happened, but that was the adventure in it all. It wasn't about the destination but the journey there. More memories created throughout that time.

Adam es tu brother? But..You don't even have the same last name???I'm confused..."CeCe blurted. The two looked nothing alike, besides the red hair. So how could they be siblings. England was a random country.

Selina laughed at CeCe's joke. The two were laughing together, it was nice. They were not killing each other, which, if you had asked Selina a half an hour ago, would have been the road they were heading. So laughing, laughing was nice.

She replied, "Oh yeah especially old ladies, they just ask for it."

When she asked about Adam Selina burst out laughing, "Not my biological brother. No he's so close to me that we joke he's my brother. Or... we were close. I haven't heard from him since he visited me in the Summer. It's like he's forgotten all about us here at Hogwarts."

It was an odd feeling. Having found a friend in someone CeCe had been so longly towards an enemy to.

"They do..With their canes and everything..They just can't hurt us..The canes slow them down.."CeCe continued with the teasing of old ladie..Nah, but some of them were cool.

Oh...I understand now.."Then Selina had mentioned, just like Kurumi, that Adam hadn't talked to anyone since his move from Hogwarts to Mexico City. Did he really care about his friends, or was the show, and his parents just keeping him busy to the point that he had no contact with his only friends?

We can right to him...Well..I can address the envelope as me..Even though the letter will be from you...He might open it if it came from 'me'."CeCe suggested, it was the best she could come up with.

Selina grew silent and cast her eyes down, "That's the problem CeCe. I have written to him. I write to him often or I did when the term first began. But I've received no reply. And I know it's no Hermes, my owl, he is the best. It's the fact that he would only read my letter if he thought it was from you. What does that say about our friendship. Was I just making a fool of myself thinking that he ever cared? That he ever saw me as his little sister or just some naive little girl with serious Quidditch issues."

Oh...He only cares to read things that come from me then???"Although it was a warming thought, it also bothered her. Adam was really sweet, but lately all she had been hearing from his friends is that he never wrote back to them until the very last second, right before their friendship would end..Why did he do it like that?

You aren't a fool! He's just...Confused...I think..You should go over there , to Mexico during winter break..I mean..It'd mean a lot..But then again, it's you doing all the work and Adam wouldn't learn anything from that..."CeCe thought more to herself as she began rambling. This situation just kept going in circles.

Then she heard a random word, one she had never heard before.

"You lost me..Que es Quidditch? What is that?"

Selina shook her head no, "If there is one thing I know for sure about Adam Burn it is that he is never confused about what he wants. He may be confused about why he wants what he wants," Kurumi, Katie, Fee, Ever-Lily, "but he knows underneath it all what he wants. And if he wanted to talk to me he would have made the effort. He would have tried. I always knew it would come to this," she had seen it, "I just hoped it wouldn't."

When she inquired about Quidditch Selina answered, "A Wizard sport. Kind of hard to explain. But you should come down to the Pitch. Watching it explains it much better than I ever could."

This was a hard question. He didn't really know the answer to this one either. But since she hadn't thought his simple 'I don't know," wasn't good enough, he figured it wouldn't work here either.

"Well, for arguement's sake," which he guessed it wasn't just for argument's sake, "I wouldn't tell you just yet. I'd wait for a better time. For when we were older, when both of us were really ready for a relationship. Maybe then. But that's only if there weren't other people. Any time my dad could die, I still have to look after El, worry about school work, try not to get killed at home, Violet...." The list seemed to go on and on.

With a small piece of parchment in her hand, Helena kept walking around the school grounds, until she got to the... front gate. A bit too far away, but it was the best place she could find. On that tiny piece of parchment she was holding were written the tasks given by Lord Borr. And... why did she want to be as far away from the rest of the students as she could? Because she wanted to do one of the things on the list.

The girl was singing. Well, more whispering, rather than singing out loud. She had a really nice voice, but she felt... silly. And what was she singing? Celestina Warbeck's "You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me".

Oh, my poor heart, where has it gone?
It's left me for a spell...

But Helena suddenly stopped. It just sounded... odd. Alright. At least she did number ten from the list.

Viola walked slowly, thinking. She had actually started with her DADA assignment. She'd decided to skip the singing part. She could have done it alone but the assigment said that they had to sing to another person, which was weird. Anyway, she really didn't want to sing to anyone. She was THAT bad. Dance? Yeah, she could manage. Sort of. But, sing? Nope. Not at all.

Viola stopped. Uhh. Where was-? Oh, the front gate. There seemed to be quite a number of students around here. She spotted a familiar face nearby, standing alone. "Helena!" Viola waved at her and smiled. She started walking towards her.

Helena suddenly stopped muttering singing, when she heard her name. Maybe someone wanted to make fun of her musical skills. Holding the piece of parchment tightly in her hand, the girl spun around on her tiptoes to find... "Viola!" She said happily, grinning.

It was starting to get chilly, and Presley was shivering. Her teeth started chattering, and she finally stood up. With one last longing glance out of the gates, she trudged back toward the castle.

"Were you just singing?" Viola asked, giving the girl a hug. "You are good!" Yep, she was. Viola thought that she wasn't even half as good as Helena. Bleh. But, Viola had always been a terrible singer. Viola smiled. "Anyway, how are you? It's been a while."
