| | The Courtyard A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain. |

| for Yssa and Arielle A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Daichi laughed when Zara started to make sissing sounds. Seriously! this girl was funny! He laughed and laughed .......but then his laughter was cut off in an instant as he looked down at his stomach where Zara had placed her head on, as though he was pregnant and she wanted to hear the baby...sissing? Blushing a deep scarlet red, Daichi grabbed Zara's shirt and dragged her away from his stomach. What was THAT for?! "Uh..." he said intelligently and had to turn away because he felt his ears started to heat up too.
Luckily, rescue was nearby when Ariana and Zara started to speak to each other. However, when Zara told Ariana that his name was actually Lychee he slapped his forehead. What did this girl have? Memory problem? He just told her his name is Daichi! He even SPELLED it! "Ya! just Daichi is fine..." he muttered but he had the feeling they wouldn't listen.
Nope, they wouldn't. Daichi had a major Gaaaaaah! moment in his mind as Ariana started to apologise and called him Lychee now. Maybe it was going to be a nickname for him? and..wait.. was that a BAG Zara was holding up? Daichi frowned looking at it , thinking he had been so sure it was a book she needed to fetch...
Daichi listened as both friends started talking to each other about classes. He thought they were right about Potions. Lafay IS scary but.. Daichi was wise enough to keep his mouth shut. Not saying a bad word about the Professor. She IS his head of house, what would happen if she found out about him speaking in an ill manner.? Daichi shivered. Oh the horror! When the talked about Transfiguration he nodded his head. "True, true! Shaaaaaaaaaw or whatever he wants to be called ..is weird but.. i don't know" he liked the man, he was..different. "By the way, do any of you two know what the Arithmancy homework is about?" he was very confused.

It's supposed to be a paragram though. Minimum of six lines and uhmm," she thought some more, thinking of added details that could probably help, "Oh, just look at the announcement outside the classroom. I think there has to be some sort of pattern in the numbers where you add them. You gotta use your textbook though, the making letters into numbers stuff."

"Wow," Jory said "yours happened way before me. Mine started at seven. My first time happened when this guy at school dropped one of my books in a puddle of water. I got so angry, the next thing I knew, his sneakers were on fire."
The memory still brought Jory to laughter when he thought of it. He was shocked when it had happened and it had been very worrying for him during the years. He had thought there was something wrong with him.
Jory looked at his watch. "I got to meet someone, Ness. Maybe we can catch up sometime?"

I should have a medal or something by now."
The more he hung around Samira, the more she was starting to grow on him. The age difference between them wasn't as vast as it seemed. They were only a year and a half or a couple of years apart. At the same time, they had a lot in common for being complete opposites on the outside. He was poor, black, and a Gryffindor, and she was wealthy, white, and a Slytherin but they really seemed to click with each other. That was all Levi really wanted--a good friend who could understand him. The dark-haired girl nodded in understanding about the catwoman thing. "That makes sense," she said in a "aha!" voice. It did make sense. Since no one knew their identity, their family could be safe and the villains wouldn't come after them. Logic, really.
Samira gave a small giggle. "Mysterious-er?" That was something you didn't hear everyday. She looked at the sky and shook her head in a mock-exhasperated expression. "And just when I thought the King of the Nerds was at the top of his reign...!" She pretended to clap her hands lightly. "Congratulations." Samira smiled and shook her head nonchalantly. "I screw up words all the time, too." She smiled to herself. "Funer, sleeped, drownded." She felt silly for listing all of her mistakes in grammar, but really, it wasn't that big of a deal. The Slytherin cocked her head to one side thoughtfully. "You know, I bet we can make our own words if we wanted to."

Macy giggled as the other girl examined her ball. "Thanks!" she said. She'd spent quite a while on it actually. Even some of her old friends had helped her with the doodles. It had come out quite nicely actually. The girl shook her head in response to Caroline's question. "Nope. I went to Beauxbatons my past few years," she explained. Boy, did she like it here SO much better! The robes were way cooler, she didn't have to attempt to speak French, and there weren't quite so many snobs around. Yup. This was the good life.

"Seriously," Levi agreed with a playful roll of his eyes. "It's pressure to keep up this title sometimes." He smiled as she explained to him that, once in a while, she made up her own words as well. He hadn't met anybody who did that sort of thing. Most of the students around Hogwarts, especially the ones their age, seemed to take themselves way too seriously. Nobody liked to mellow out and just laugh at themselves now and then. It was all about status, competition, and beating one another at Quidditch. Such things almost bored him to death. Who cared about them in the long run? School only lasted for seven years and it was better not to squander that time with stress.
"I think you're starting to out-do me, though," he added, putting the comic book down again. What was the point of reading right now? The Gryffindor was having too much fun goofing around with Samira. "We totally could. You know what? I like that you're not afraid to poke fun at yourself, Samira. You're really different, but in a good way." |

With all the stress going on in life, it was nice to just slow down and have fun.
The Slytherin raised an eyebrow. She felt flattered that Levi thought so highly of her, and a little taken aback. Samira didn't think anyone other than a few select people really thought she was fun to be around. She gave a genuine smile. "Thanks, Levi," she said sincerely. "Same goes for you." It was totally true, too. How many guys joked and called themselves the "King of Nerds"? It was so cool! Samira didn't get why more people didn't just...let loose. It was so much funner more fun and easy. "My parents say I'm really uptight, actually." Samira rolled her eyes, remembering how her pristine and proper parents who always found the negative about her. "That I take things 'too seriously'."
Giving herself a mental shake to forget about the uncomfortable topic, Samira quickly returned to their light-hearted discussion. "Our words should be totally unusual, but make sense. So we're totally original." Samira felt excitement build up as she went through all the possible combinations in her head.

He paused for a moment before quickly correcting his statement. "Shakespeare, I mean, not Beedle." Smiling softly, it occurred to him that it was high time that he reread some of Shakespeare's plays and some of the fairy tales by Beedle the Bard. He hadn't read Shakespeare since his early teens possibly because bloody Macbeth had terrified him out of his wits as a thirteen-year-old and he hadn't read or listened to his mum read Beedle's work to him since he had been a small child.
"Will do." He nodded, making a mental note. Maybe Hogwarts, A History would have information on how to fight the tree as well, just in case a certain nervous Ravenclaw was ever thrown into a sticky situation with the Whomping Willow? "Haha, agitating it would be the last thing on my mind. Unless I turned suicidal, or something." A few seconds of silence passed as his morbid joke fell flat. Clearing his throat, he was glad that Ellie had ignited a change of subject. "Yeah! I used to beat my dad at it all of the time. I also like gobstones, too... although it can get a bit disgusting at times." The ink that squirted out of the stones was so revolting that the sixth year supposed that it was fermented troll dung. "Oh, that reminds me... I've been meaning to ask if Hogwarts has any clubs for that kind of thing. Gobstones, chess, anything?" He was itching to get involved. In all honesty, even though they were talking about Shakespeare, Ellie's thoughts went to Beedle the Bard first and his many tales. But she nodded when Theo said Shakespeare. She'd never heard him called that before; she just read the plays. "I love Shakespeare, too. His plays are fantastic, though many of the most famous are quite dark." She said with a little frown. Sad? Yes, but very intriguing nonetheless.
Ellie looked at him sideways and laughed a little awkwardly. "Well I certainly hope you don't go suicidal, Theo. It would be a tragic loss." Heh. And Ellie would have to use her crazy awesome Whomping Willow super powers to save his life, just like she did with Hyun. 'Cause she was that awesome. The brunette beamed when the boy said he loved chess. "Really? We may have to play in the common room sometime, I'm always looking for a good competition." She said with a mischievous smile. Ah, yes. Gobstones. "Mm, I never got into that game. I'm not to fond of the squirting ink." Ellie said with a light laugh. And it just seemed a tad boring to her. "Yeah! There's actually a gobstones club. I don't know when they meet or if it's already started, but lots of people love it." She said with a nod.

"Do you have a favorite?" Shifting into bookworm mode, an intrigued smile lit up the sixth year's fair-hued face. "I mean, I know a lot of girls tend to like Romeo and Juliet... no offense if you do," He glanced at the ground momentarily, hoping he hadn't said the wrong thing, "But I like Macbeth. It used to terrify me, with the witches and all of the blood, but I grew to appreciate it... eventually." He laughed lightly and pushed a few rebellious curls from his forehead, glad to be able to make fun of his childish fears, for once.
He couldn't help but grin. "Tragic, really?" He simpered in a faux, playful manner. "Aw, dear Ellie, I'm touched." Theodore promptly snorted, bringing his left hand to cover his mouth. It was a bit too humorous to act like a proper prude. If only dear little Dumble knew about his predecessor, dapper Deus. "That would be great. I've never really had competition from people my own age before." He promptly took a mental note on that gobstone club. "That's excellent. Maybe it'll wean my friends off of pushing me to try-out for quidditch..." He couldn't help but shudder at that notion; heights frightened him.

She then listened to Selina and then closed her eyes a she spoke to her. Violet then picked her head up and looked at Selina and then smiled warmly. She then wrapped her arms around Selina tightly hugging the redhead and squealed saying,"Selina Arden Skylar!! I love you so so sooo much!!" She continued,"What would I do without you?!?!?!"

No, he obviously wasn't, but she was up for the challenge. Ellie tapped her toes on the bench and furrowed her eyebrows. "I suppoooose... I would have to say Hamlet. It's dark, and scary. But for some reason it really fascinates me." She said, beaming a little. Ellie had always been such a nerd and a book worm. And now she had a book-worm buddy! "And although Romeo and Juliet is good, it's just too... Lovey dovey. They're so romantic, it makes me sick." She said with a little laugh. Was that weird..?
Dear Ellie? Touched? She couldn't help but snort slightly. "Tragic indeed, dear Theo." Ellie said over dramatically, resting a hand on his shoulder in mock-comfort. She brightened up. And now she had a book-worm buddy AND a chess buddy! "I look forward to it!" She told him with a smile. Ellie couldn't help but notice a small fear arise in his eyes as he spoke briefly of trying out for the quidditch team. "I take it you aren't a quidditch fan?" She asked curiously.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Hugo Doyle Seventh Year | ✪ Whovian ✪ Luke's friend ✪ Charliebot ✪
Hugo sat on a bench in the courtyard, pretending to read a book. He didn't even have his reading glasses. He just needed something to distract him from his thought. He didn't really want to think about it. The thought kindof frightened him. Edmond was all perfect and good looking. What did he have to give? Nothing. He sighed.

Levi wasn't the type to compliment people unless he really and truly meant it. He wasn't the sort of boy who threw around sweet words to reel a girl in and then use her. That was the problem with most relationships he was surrounded by day in and day out. Guys just spat out random compliments to their girls to keep them contented or swung in the other direction, playing the sympathy card and cutting themselves down. Levi had a fair balance. He didn't have a martyr complex as most Gryffindors were associated with but he didn't have a big head either. Life was too short to pick one of the two extremes. He preferred being himself; his geeky, impatient, and easily amused self. He was glad that at least now he had found somebody who accepted him for who he was. He didn't need to pretend around his new friend.
"Uptight? You?" the fourth year repeated, making a strange face. "On what planet? No offense to your parents or anything but I don't think they know you too well. Then again, my old man doesn't know me all that much either. He could give two craps less what I do with my life, actually. I don't need validation from a drinker, though." He shook his head in revulsion. The extent of their closeness was when the man was sober and even then, he yelled himself hoarse and threw chairs at Levi if he implied one little thing the wrong way. Words really couldn't describe how free he felt back at Hogwarts.
"You're right," he said, trying to stay cheerful. "I've never had an inside joke like this with somebody before..." |

Ellie couldn't help but notice a small fear arise in his eyes as he spoke briefly of trying out for the quidditch team. "I take it you aren't a quidditch fan?" She asked curiously. "Hamlet is great, too," Theodore nodded, picking at a chink in the stone bench that the two Ravenclaws were perched on. "A bit theatrical for my taste, but it's excellent all the same." Had he found a book buddy? HE HAD! 。◕ ‿ ◕。 Finally, he had found some sort of intelligent refuge at Hogwarts minus his clever professors and the amazingly well-stocked library. To top it off, she felt the same about Romeo & Juliet. This felt like the beginning of a beautiful friendship. "But enough of muggle plays!" He swatted at the air, as if Shakespeare had been a trivial fruit fly that had zoomed in front of his face. "What about Beedle the Bard? Anything catch your fancy there?"
Theo bit his lip, holding back from howling with laughter. Acting like a character out of a Victorian novel was a bit too much for him. "Hm... I guess I'll challenge you when I catch you in the common room," He smirked, his confidence pertaining to his wizard-chess-skills quite obvious. Theodore could take Ellie anytime, any day, anywhere. Psh. Well, maybe not in a room filled with spiders and snakes after midnight. But I digress. Sighing, he realized he might have let a bit too much slip about quidditch. "My friends goaded me into signing up to help me get over my fear of heights. I told them I wanted to get involved and before I knew it, I was grabbed and tossed in front of the sign-up sheet." He laughed, although it sounded false, and shook his head before lowering it to gaze at his trainers. "They mean well, but quidditch has never been a big part of my life."
