"I'm better... Just wanted to make sure that you and Marie are okay?"
*Matty said. Other than his talk from earlier with him Matty didn't know the guy very well. By the look of it the guy thought Matty was gonna hit him or something. When did he end up adopting his girlfriends reputation?*
"You can stop backing away I'm not going to hit you. I made my peace with you earlier so we're okay. Just be careful of what you say to Marie and we will be fine."

Cass smiled when she managed to finally calm him down, but then said smile melted off her face when it was followed with a "I need to go". Tch.

"Hey, no worries. We can talk next time." She said as she swept her towards the direction off the castle "We'll probably see each other in the common room or something."

She waited as he stood up and walked away, waving good bye as she did so. Then she leaned back against her arms and looked up at the quickly darkening sky before calling out, quite loudly...

"You can come out now Heather."

Still polyjuiced as Jory, Ari exited the castle, wanting to spend some time on the grounds, as it was a really beautiful May day. Ok, the wind was blowing quite hard, as it usually did in Scotland, but otherwise it was a perfect day. Ariadne was expecting to have her long hair blown in her face but...nothing happened. Then she remembered she had short hair, because she was Jory. She couldn't even pursue her rather annoying habit of twirling her hair absent-mindedly. Hmmm...Ari eventually started to miss being a girl. Sure, it was interesting to impersonate a boy, but in the end, Ari realized it was better to be yourself, even if the realization came over such a trivial matter like hair.

Hemo frowned, the worry suddenly blatantly evident in her expression. "What happened?" she asked quietly, momentarily forgetting that it wasn't considered particularly polite to be nosy. She shrugged the thought off, moving slightly closer to the other girl on the bench, meeting her gaze. She had every right to ask; the girl was her friend.

"Woah." she breathed, laughing. "That's even more than, Thea!" And she'd thought Thea's large amount of brothers was a lot...but seven? "That must be hell." she said, shaking her head. One little sister was enough for her thank you very much! She was spacey enough without the bigger distraction of more family to look after. Her mum was busy a lot...She knew it'd be her looking after them all. She'd almost burnt down the house once; she doubted seven brothers would help her with her inability to remain attentive and her mum probably wouldn't be too happy if it happened again.

Harry Potter. The name finally clicked in her head. "Aw, wow." she said, looking at the other girl wide-eyed in awe. "He's super famous. That must be awesome. The most famous relative I have is my grandpa Joe, and that's only because he runs the biggest sweet shop in our village. Which isn't very big." she added with a slight roll of her eyes and a smile.

'Well, I don't know how it started, all I know is that I went to find Maxine, and I saw Tyler and Nessie shouting at each other, I ran in the middle, nearly got jinxed by Nessie, Tyler got kicked by Nessie, at which point I stunned myself by successfully using the spell protego! Then a Gryffindor Prefect came and then the Headboy came, and then I left, and I went to the Common Room...' Rose said going through it in her head. 'I hope Tyler doesn't get in trouble... He really means a lot to me...' Rose blushed

Hemo blinked, leaning back slightly. "Wow." She frowned, pursing her lips as that familiar look of deep thought fell across her face. It was a look which, if you don't know better, made her look like she was over-thinking every little detail. Which, technically she was. "Nessie?" she said finally. "I know Nessie." She blinked again and clicked her tongue. "She didn't seem like the type who would go round jinxing people when I met her." She must've been provoked or something; that was the logical explanation. But still. "You were brave." she said, smiling over at Rose and giving her congratulatory nudge. She watched the blush tinge the other Gryffindor's cheeks and her smile grew. "So this Tyler..." She smirked at her, blue eyes sparkling. "He nice?"

'Yeah, I think she said something about him not liking the name of her Pygmy Puff...' Rose frowned. 'Ah, well! Well, we Gryffindors should be brave!' Rose grinned. 'I don't think I was though, all I did was turn up and try and stop it'
Rose listened to Hemo ask about Tyler. She blushed again. 'Yeah, he's lovely!' Rose said, still blushing. It was nice Hemo cared to ask! 'I really like Tyler... Do you really like anyone?' Rose asked smiling

Hemo wrinkled her nose as a laugh escaped her throat. "She must like that name a lot." Really? Hexing someone because they didn't like the name you'd given your pygmy puff? She tilted her head to the side slightly; well, each to their own. She, personally, would save her jinking abilities for more pressing matters. Like if someone sat on her cat. She remembered when her sister, at the tender age of four, had done that... Her beans on toast had caught fire. She grinned at the memory.

The blonde thought for a moment before answering. "Well, I really like you. And I really like Thea, and Ronnie." she said, shooting the other girl who was with them a quick smile. "But I don't think you mean like that, do you?" She sighed, the grin still with-standing as she shook her head. "Boys have cooties." She grimaced, another tinkling laugh resonating from her lips.

'She called it Puffles...' Rose laughed. 'I like you a lot too! You're in my top 3 fave people!' Rose grinned. 'Cooties? Really?' Rose laughed.

"Puffles is an awesome name!" She grinned, tapping absently against the bench with her index finger. Sure it wasn't the most original, especially for a Pygmy Puff, but she was planning to call her next fish 'Fish' so she couldn't really be too judgemental. Now that she thought about it, thinking way into the future here, she wouldn't mind calling her first daughter 'Puffles'.

The pinkish tinge returned to the blonde's cheeks and she smiled. "Thanks." she said, with a small sheepish nudge to Rose's shoulder. This girl was too nice, really. The contrast between her and Thea was scary; it was odd to think how on earth they'd managed to be placed in the same house.

"Really." she said, mimicking herself gagging. 'Cause really, the thought of...kissing boys was just disgusting. "They're all..." She motioned wildly with her hands, trying to find the right word. "Boy-ish. It's icky."

Rose nudged Hemo back. 'You're welcome! Boys can be horrible, but, we can't live without them...' Rose laughed. 'By the way, my parents said you can come round in the holidays. They say they can take you to Diagon Alley if you want! I need to get my stuff...' Rose groaned. 'I hate some bits of shopping, but I'm hoping to get a broomstick this time!' Rose grinned

"...I believe, we are, yeah."

Why? Why did he care how he was with Marie? As long as they didn't see each other, they were fine; and his hard practice programme with her exam schedule took care of that. And why was he suddenly more interested in Evan? Did he know something that he didn't? Washegonnadieinthreemonths?!

Oh, now, that was a relief. Wait--what?! He made his peace with him earlier? What the HELL was he talking about?! Though, Evan figured it wasn't the time to argue or ask questions... no, it was time to answer back to this piece of Puff.

"Or what?" he retorted with a condoscending face. "You gonna hit a prefect?" Not that he'd cause any problems with Marie; the girl had enough already without his extra effort, but really, he didn't like the tone of this Puff. He might be sliiightly taller than him, but Evan didn't think he was any muscular. And he was supposed to be younger than him.

Hmpf.

*Matty was taken a little off guard by the sudden tone change but Matty just shrugged at his comment. He did hit the head boy only a few days into term, but now wasn't the time for that chat. Matty for once didn't feel like fighting, Marie had mellowed him out... maybe... a little.*
"No I'm not going to hit a prefect. I think because of the whole... Marie taking things a little to seriously had us get off on the wrong foot. So here we go. Hi I'm Matty, nice to officially meet you prefect Cartwright. Please keep an eye out for my girl Marie?"

"It can be quite annoying, but I like being with them. Especially Rupert, he's very nice to me." she said. "And I guess it's pretty awesome." Ronnie said. "Your grandpa runs a sweet shop?! That's wicked!" Ronnie said. "I'll have to go sometime, I love sweets!" she exclaimed. It was true, when it came to sweets, she was a P I G!

Shrugging? Good. At his one single action, Evan would be marching to the nearest professor. He didn't like the I punch anyone I like mode at all. Arching one eyebrow as he revealed he wouldn't be hitting the prefect, Evan thought it was all for his own good. And then the rest was plain boring.

Why was he talking to a Puff, again? Right, because of Marie. She owed him big time.

"I am keeping an eye for her, don't worry... Matty." He hadn't told his surname. And he didn't care at all, save for the formal effect it could have had there.

And he also still didn't like the boy. But he knew better than to show anything... if he kept it all formal, he'd be OK.

*Well that went... The vibe Matty was getting from this guy was anything but friendly. What had Matty done to make this guy so mad at him?*
"Well... thanks... nice talking to you..."
*So much for Matty trying to be nice to the guy. Looks like another person was added to the list of People Who Hate Matthias Gardner. That made it Carter and Evan. A part of Matty wondered what he could have done to make them so mad at him. With a confused frown Matty turned to leave.*

The cool weather and the sun's warmth are the two things that made Lara come out to the courtyard in spite of her tiredness. Was really exhausted because she didn't have a good sleep yesterday, although she doesn't know why.

Therefore, in an attempt to activate herself somehow, maybe the breeze of the air might help. Lara walked down the corridor heading to the courtyard. When she got there she looked up at the sky and breathed in deeply filling her lungs with fresh air.

She felt that some of power had come back, she then walked towards one of her favorite benches and sat there leaning her back on the wall and watching students passing by and some of them sitting on other benches line herself.

Marie was walking through the courtyard just enjoying the fresh air. The days had been finally getting warmer so she was spending as much time as she could outside.

Heading over to a bench to sit she got distracted by...

Matty.

Abandoning all thoughts of sitting down now she went over to her boyfriend. Wrapping her arms around him she gave him a quick kiss."Hey there handsome. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to see you today." After the day of classes she'd had she was more than happy to see her boyfriend... Who didn't look to be very happy right now. "Hey, what's wrong?"

It was then that she noticed Evan not too far from them. Looking between the two boys she wondered what had just happened. Was Evan was the reason for Matty's look? For his sake her better hope he wasn't.

Ronnie (Isabelle) walked down to the courtyard and looked around. It was much easier trying not to be noticed in the Gryffindor common room or Gryffindor Girl's dorm. She wondered if she could try to get into the Slytherin common room, maybe Isa knew how. She'd ask her later if she ever saw her.

She then sat down in a corner and watched the other students with eachother. She wondered if Isa's friends were missing her......they'd walk up to her though if they needed to talk to her, wouldn't they recognize her? Of course they would, they're friends with her, right?

Ronnie (Isabelle) sighed and became real bored. She longed to be with Rose, William, Jordan, or any of her mates. She looked at the sky and smiled as a flock of beautiful birds flew by.

"Hey beautiful, nothings wrong. Just had a chat with... Evan."
*Wrapping his arms around her Matty kissed her back and sighed. Now he felt much better. Marie could always make him feel loads better even if it had been the worst day.*
"Mind going on a walk with me?"

Samira Spinks spent most of the day contemplating what to do. Should she go to the lake...? No, too many people. Should she wander the corridors...? No, too little people. In the end, the Slytherin decided to go walk around the courtyard.

It was a pretty nice day, and after several minutes of walking around, she moved over to a nearby bench. Only to find it was already occupied.

"Lara," she said in surprise. She almost walked away, but then decided Lara was nice enough and gave a small smile. "I haven't talked to you in forever." This wasn't an understatement.

Isabelle walked through the courtyard after a good meal. It felt good to be out in the breeze. She let Ronnie's brilliant red hair come tumbling down out of the pony she was wearing it in. She was still getting used to the fact of her red hair and next thing you know it would be blonde again. As Isa was walking she saw some familiar faces from the Slytherin common room. It felt weird not having friends, even the first year she was polyjuiced as had friends. She now had a goal, make a friend or group of friends next year.

Lara was really enjoying sitting in that bench watching students passing by. However, the Slytherin started to feel a bit bored sitting all by herself. She hoped she asked one of her friends to come with her. She thought of going back to the common room to see who'd like to come along.

Anyway,The third year wasn't even finished with her plan when she heard someone saying her name. She turned to see who was it and….tada! It was her friend Samira. Well, Lara thinks Samira is her friend but she doesn't know if Samira thinks the same thing. Let's say Lara might have annoyed Samira once 0_o.


However, that didn't stop Lara from grinning "Hi Samira!" she said "Yeah, it's been awhile!" she nodded. It's how they are in the same school yet in the same house and they don't get to see each other much, "Please have a seat!" Lara motioned towards the spot next to her as she scooted to leave room for Samira. She could use some company here.

A chat... with Evan? "Um, how'd that go?" Looking over at Evan she had a feeling it didn't go so well, not with the way Matty looked when she walked up to him. "Like I'm going to tell you no." She said standing on her toes and kissing him nose. "Where you wanna go for a walk at?"

*His talk with Evan... did not go as well as he planned but it didn't go as bad as he thought it would. Matty smirked and raised an eyebrow at her.*
"How about our secret place? Or we can walk around the lake and then snog- I mean go to our secret place?"
