| | The Courtyard A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain. |

Even if she was a rather good runner she just didn't like sports. "My turn to ask some questions" she announced, but then realised she had nothing to ask. OH GAWD. "Do you liiiiiikkkkeeeee......" What? Now he was hugging her. It wasn't enough to have to see him so soon after the break up, now hugging her. And forgiving her. The girl was torn between confusion. anger and happiness. "After EVERYTHING I can take it all back. Just like that." This was a joke ..... or a dream. It had to be. She wouldn't lie it was something that she had been hoping for that he would come back to her.
What was that saying, If you love them let them free and if they come back thats how you know. Yeah that sounded right. Uhmmm...
Mia knew, KNEW that she was missing something here but she couldn't let on that she was not actually Carter.
The face she was wearing was gaping at Caroline a bit like a fish out of water because Mia had no idea what she was supposed to say, but if she didn't give the Slytherin an answer soon, she might cop more than just a shove in the shoulders. "Sure. Just forget it ever happened." Whatever that was. Carter rubbed the back of his neck while he gave Caroline a tentative smile.
What happens now?

What happens now? Caroline was a bit confused. She had broken up with him, which she wished that she hadn't. By now that was the point. And he was just going to forget that it ever happened? She did argue. She wanted to forget that it happened too, so if he could forget and forgive then she could to well the forget part. "If your sure then. Okay." She glance over at him. There was something wrong with him. He looked like he was choking or something. "Are you feeling okay?"
So ...... They were back together?
She started to lean in to kiss him, but stopped. She remembered that she was suppose to meet Kita, so they could work on their charms homework. "Hey, mmm I've got to go work on some homework with Kita. So where do you want to meet up later?" Yeah, they should meet up later, right?

Maybe that nice terrace, or something? She'd study even around the lake, on the ground, if the terrace was crowded. Anywhere. Just away from those creepy dungeons for a while.
As she was making her way through the courtyard with a big stack of books in her hands, she didn't quite see her feet because of them. And since she had two left feet, the girl must have tripped over something. The good part was that she didn't fall. The bad part was that her books and her notes were all on the ground, around a girl's feel. Pfff.
" I'm sorry," she mumbled, wondering if the girl could hear her, as she bent down to pick everything up.

Seriously? Right around the girl's feet? But then... she heard a voice, and it was most probably talking to her.
... help?
" Ahh no, don't worry," the girl said with a smile, as she looked up. " I hope I didn't... disturb you," much. Well, she didn't look like she was doing anything, but some people might actually want to enjoy the fresh air or something, without having a lot of books at their feet.

She didn't disturb the girl. No harm done. Hehe. At least Helena was glad that her books fell at a nice girl's feet, because... some others could react completely different.
Join her? " Alright," she said as she took a seat, carefully placing her books on her lap. Maybe the studying could wait for a few minutes. " I'm Helena, by the way," the girl added after a while, smiling.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Anna Keller | POLYJUICED! As Treyen Lockhart Sardines ♥ // Nomsy, yo So... Dal was pretty much wandering around the castle aimlessly. After all of the people that Treyen had warned him about, he really didn't want to be around people in case he happened to meet someone he shouldn't. The courtyard had seemed like a good place to come because it was open, and he could see people coming from a ways off. Of course, none of them were going to have a bright, neon sign saying 'Treyen said to stay away from me!' ... but this was as good of a plan as any.
So... he walked. He was planning on just walking around for the next hour until the potion wore off... because what else could he do? He couldn't give points or anything, so that sort of fun was out of the question. But he could walk around and act important because of the Prefect badge on his chest. Yes... he'd do that. Standing up straighter and puffing his chest out a bit he continued walking, a smirk playing at his lips.

Despite the fact that she had no OWLs or NEWTs to worry about, Louisa was so into her transfiguration book. Only this time and instead of enjoying it, she was getting bored with this specific paragraph. She didn't like things that she didn't understand... like this animagus vs transfiguration thing.
The third year raised her head and moved her neck around in attempt of relaxation. And with an exaggerated sigh, she looked around for any distraction. The first thing, or one, her eyes fell on was a Prefect wandering closely by. She jumped to her feet, tucked the book under her arm, and ran toward him in an emergency-speed, " Excuse me! Mister Prefect!" She'd called out before he got too far away. He was one of the older students who were supposed to help younger students, right? She might as well confess that she wasn't old enough sometimes to study alone.. and asking a Prefect was really natural and non-humiliating.
..to other students, at the least.

Immediately, Katie held up her hand to quiet him and then dropped it, remembering that at most he was staring at her shoes and wouldn't notice. "No, stop." Pausing, the young woman moved to the side to sit next to him and slowly, put her hand under his chin to make him turn his head and look at her. Kaitlynnh wanted to make sure she had his attention, before continuing in a softer, but serious tone. "You have no reason to apologize to me, and you are not an idiot, Orlando Renaldi. Don't you ever say that." Her hand on his chin made Orlando close his eyes, just for a second - before she lifted his chin lightly and made him look at her. KT's words were kind as ever. He did not deserve it. But he decided not to argue because he knew, no matter what he said - they would still say he did nothing wrong.
Quietly, he opened his fist - using his fingers to untie the strings that closed the little purse. Once it opened, Orlando reached for her hand - turning it, he emptied the content of the pouch on her palm. Letting her hand go, he spoke softly - wanting her to examine it herself. "It's a charm necklace, the shopkeeper said spirito libero means 'free spirit' in Italian"
It had seemed like the perfect gift for her. Orlando had decided to buy it almost immediately. The engraving on small round pendant had reminded him of KT so much. After all she was KT. And Orlando had wanted something to remind her constantly how brilliant she was - which he wouldn't be able to do after she would leave Hogwarts.

Why are you so nervous? asked the little voice which Charlie called Shudup. But it never did. "Soo. . . How was things this break?" Her toe dug into the dirt. This was Braeden. The person that she automatically got along with. and had missed all summer. Get it together, Char.
She then realized something, they were standing where they had first met. Or, to be exact, she had been tripped over and he had been the person to trip. Charlie smiled a soft smile. Good times. "By the way. Whatever happened to you coming 'round my place all summer as we live so close to each other? Or, if memory serves, 'being like gum under my shoes'?" Char smiled at the lion cub, finally meeting his eyes. Braeden nodded his head as Charlie shared her break with him. "Sounds good," he said with a smile that turned into an awkward chuckle when she said he looked handsome, 'like usual'. Akjhjsdhfj. The boy blushed once more and found himself looking around for a moment, awkward as ever, before returning his gaze to the little blonde Hufflepuff in front of him.
"Oh, everything was fine," said Brae with a shrug when she asked about his break. "Didn't really do anything crazy or out of the ordinary… played around at making some short films," he said. He wished he could tell her a more interesting story, but he had nothing. Besides, he was too nervous. And why was he nervous, anyway?! This was Charlie, for Merlin's sake!
And then she was asking him about that promise he'd made last term.
Braeden felt a brick drop into his stomach at that moment, and his expression filled with both surprise and guilt - guilt that he hadn't kept his word and surprise that Charlie remembered that promise. Gah… she hadn't actually… waited for him or anything, had she? Sigh. When exactly had it been that they began to drift apart? It was so strange. He couldn't point at a specific time when he looked back on it now.
"I'm sorry…" he muttered, looking like a little boy who'd just been caught stealing candy. "I… I-- just-- I-- Well--" His right hand messed around with his lion's mane in nervousness. "To be honest, I don't have an excuse," he finally confessed, looking up from the ground and to the Hufflepuff girl. Who would hopefully not punch him in the face for being a big fat promise-breaker.

Did every Prefect in school knew her name?? Or was it every student that knew her? *silly inner giggle*
The more logic explanation, of course, would be that Prefects knew students because they were authorized people. Although this one was a Hufflepuff O_o did he need to memorize all students' names from every house? Hopefully not, she wouldn't be so happy to be a Prefect herself if it was true.
She didn't comment on him knowing her name because he made a very smart remark right after that. Sarcasm intended. " Yes, I can see that," She pointed at the badge on his chest. " I was wondering if you could help me out a bit in this paragraph of Transfiguration.." She started opening the book, " .. I won't take much of your time, really, I only need to understand what they mean by this." She held out the book to him and prayed to Merlin that he wouldn't shoo her away or claim to have more important business to do... because then she would use her not-so-polite attitude against him and risk losing points. |

Right. The badge. Treyen!Dallin bit his lip, deciding that he was going to leave as soon as possible to make sure that he didn't say anything else stupid. But he had to be nice... so he'd help her with whatever she needed help with and then run away.
He took the book, quickly scanning the page she was having trouble with. He nodded, trying to look smart and stuff when he was really trying to just get this over with. "You need a spell to Transfigure something," he said, shutting the book without thinking and handing it back to Louisa. "If someone's an Animagus they can transform into to their animal form at will." Sounded good to him. "Glad I could help," he said with a bigger-than-necessary smile and a wave.

Charlie smiled at Braeden's awkward explanation. "No worries about it. I just thought it was an interesting thing to say to someone you had just met." Her hand reached for his arm before gently touching it after a slight hesitation, "I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch. I meant to but then. . . well. . . I . . . I guess I don't know why I didn't." Feeling ashamed of her lack of friendship to a boy who had never been anything but nice to her, the transfer student, Char hung her head looking at the ground.
The two had drifted apart shortly after getting together, for no other reason than inattention. Charlie had a feeling that is was mostly due to her scatter brain. She glanced to one side then the other, before looking at Braeden, "Do you fancy getting something to eat?" With a shy smile, Charlie hoped he did.

Join her? "Alright," she said as she took a seat, carefully placing her books on her lap. Maybe the studying could wait for a few minutes. "I'm Helena, by the way," the girl added after a while, smiling. Arabella-Marie smiled at Helena and said "Nice to meet you Helena, I am Arabella" Arabella-Marie was glad that she had somebody to talk to just now and keep her from her thoughts

The book was thrown back on her hands before she could count to ten Hippogriffs: the Prefect blurted two sentences that made the whole book seem unnecessary, grinned at her and then waved good bye.
Louisa blinked.
Holding the book clos to her chest, she didn't smile at him. She was too confused by his weird attitude, " Umm.. yeah.. thanks." She replied, shifting her weight from one foot to the other awkwardly. " Sorry to bother you. Next time, you can just shoo me away." She said, trying to sound neutral, " I have a friend who'd explain this to me in a less hasty way," If he wasn't going to linger around then fiiine, she better go find Dal. He wouldn't push her away like this although the explaining part was overrated. " He's good at everything and doesn't need a badge to prove it." Yep, no polite attitude anymore.
" Do you happen to know Dallin? Is he around here?" She continued quickly, taking one step backward, ready to leave. He was a Prefect and he was doing a patrol around here, right? She could use this little information from him... unless he decided to take two points from her for asking too many questions :O Well, she'd talk to her Head of House if that happened! Hmph.

"Yeah, I suppose it was," Braeden replied as Char pointed out how odd his comment last term had been. He chuckled softly at the memory, though. He'd really enjoyed his time back then. Well, of course, he was enjoying this term as well, but it was hard not to get a little melancholy seeing Charlie now after so long. "Hey, don't worry about it. We've got time to catch up," the boy assured her as she tried to explain herself, flashing her another of his goofy grins.
As Charlie mentioned one of the boy's favourite activities - eating - his brown eyes lit up with the power of a thousand volts. "Why, I most certainly fancy a meal with you. M'lady." He offered her his arm and chuckled softly.
See? Already they were getting back to their old selves, the goofy pair.
