A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.

Nika shrugged and replied with a cool, "There's always next time." She grinned before the next question was asked. She raised an eyebrow as she thought of the answer. "Hmm..." Actually she had no idea whatsoever. "I'm not exactly sure, but I think since we just had one recently the next one should come in a few months. Maybe three months?" She was just throwing out a guess. "I just hope it's soon because I'm running out of chocolate frogs already!" She ate those things religiously.
Nika smiled and nodded her head, "Yeah, yeah I reckon you could count it!" Eh, that Lord Borr guy wouldn't care too much. He doesn't put any effort into teaching DADA so why should they put in twice the amount more than him to go out of their way to do the assignments when they could get them done for everyday things. It made a lot more sense this way. Nika looked around to find a mouth, but she was having a hard time finding something that would make a good one. When she heard Ari's comment about making a magical snow man Nika jumped up out of excitement. "That would be so cool! It could be like our own Frosty the snowman!" Ah, magic is great.

After this, oddly, she ran away with it all in a sudden''
Once he was done with his side of the story, the boy glanced back at Destiny for a moment before turning back to Lafay. He knew she hated to be lied to so he had told the truth. That was the truth, right? He didn't think he had twisted anything. Unlike...

Destiny tried, tried her hardest to ignore Josh's side of the story. But it was deemed impossible. She scoffed and rolled her eyes through the whole thing; he was making it seem like she had walked in on him while he was in the middle of a shower or something! Personal hygiene, pfft. He didn't do a good job at taking care of that. The evil, crazy snake could smell him from where she stood. Which was right behind Lafay again. Surely the woman wouldn't believe him, right?
Her story was much better and less yawn worthy anyway.
Peeking her head out once the Professor questioned the pants, Destiny, once again, gave her a look of mock horror as she nodded her head. "Yes." she squeaked, giving Josh a quick glare just because she felt like it. Although, the glare became harder once he mentioned throwing his underwear at her. Oh dear Merlin! That was gross. She was going to have nightmares. She was going to need her eyes flushed out with water just from imagining that. She was going to need St. Mungo's!

Kita nodded, looking at Louisa. She was glad that she had told her. It seemed as though she knew quite a lot about the matter. Ok, that wasn't a good thing for her but at least she had someone to talk to, right? "That's true," she said, sighing, "Teaching us to trust them when they don't trust us enough to know the truth... hypocritical much?" But then something about what Louisa said that made Kita frown. She looked at her young friend, concern etched on her face. "Louisa... is everything ok with you?" she asked.
Real parents? Kita sighed and shook her head. "No i don't know," she said, "All i know is that they're part Danish which makes me part Danish as well. Weird or what?" Part Danish, part English and part Indian... no wonder the brunette was a weirdo! "And they were too young to raise a child so that's why they gave me up for adoption," she muttered, trying her hardest not to cry. Because the girl didn't cry. Never.
Louisa grinned broadly, although it conflicted the sad atmosphere it should be dawning on them, and replied, "Weeeeeell.." She started taunting, "I can't make any promises about my signals. You gotta look out for yourself around me." Part of it was a joke but deep down, Louisa knew that something changed inside of her. No need to frighten one of her few honest friends here, no?
What's up with her? Louisa twisted the grin to a smile, "Nothing much. Mom moved out with her family and now I'm stuck with Mrs. Brown, my aunt. It's fine really." She lied and at this point, she was getting better at it. Maybe it was telling the story over and over to her friends. Maybe it was Enya's effect. Maybe it was Louisa growing up. There are so many reasons but the girl felt quite sick of thinking about it so... she just shrugged.
"Well, consider it a good luck. Never knowing your real parents." She scoffed, "Because if you do, you'll always look into their eyes and feel.." Something burning inside of you, something makes you gag, something makes your eyes swell with tears, something... some people call hatred. Louisa left the sentence unfinished and Kita might as well use those wit signals to figure it out. Ironic.

Kelley walked into the courtyard and her eyes scanned for an empty bench. She found one and walked over. She sat down and reached into her bookbag, pulling out some parchment and a quill, and began to doodle. Kelley was a talented artist. She brushed her shiny, dark brown hair out of her face and continued drawing. Kelley decided to draw the courtyard as she saw it. She took in the sight of the stony ground and the benches and etched in some anonymous students' faces. She was also looking around for anyone whom she might know, her blue-green eyes scanning the scene before her for a familiar face or two.

'Yes, I'm soon going to need more sweets too.' she nodded. 'So Chocolate Frogs are your favourite then? I myself can't make up my mind between them and Sugar Quills.' the child chuckled.
'I was really looking forward to DADA before I came here, it was my mom's favourite subject in school, it's a pity we don't get to study it properly anymore. I hope things will be different next year.' Wishful thinking? Probably. 'I found this little twig we could use as a mouth. How about we charm it to look smiley and then sad alternatively?' Ariadne suggested, after Nika had confirmed her enthusiasm at creating a magical snowman.

"I'm Sep. Short for Septimus Galen." Sep said to the girl. "Feels nice to get some fresh air after being in that castle all day, doesn't it?"

She loved birthdays- birthdays were always the best. Even if they hadn't always been perfect it hadn't meant she didn't appreciate everything that was done for her. She moved her hand to the half of the locket she shared with her twin and sighed, silently wishing him a happy birthday all the way to Durmstrang.
She pushed back her curls and smiled as she tightened up the pink ribbon holding them back.

She played a lot of sports, sometimes she would even do cheerleading, but that would only be when she was REALLY bored.

"Got it," Lucas said with a nod. "I've been inside all day, too. Practicing Arithmancy. It's interesting, but it gets tiresome after a while... I needed some air." He stretched a bit. Alex walked down to the Courtyard, humming "Friday to Sunday"-Justice Crew to himself. He spotted a girl on her own...That is NEVER RIGHT! So doing what a good guy would do, he walked over to her and greeted her. "Hey there, I'm Alex. I saw you on your own and i thought you needed company....as long as you're not waiting for anybody else" He added awkwardly incase she didn't want to talk to him.
