They were really close now and he was leaning closer, until he kissed her. The blonde blushed deeply and what was surprising to herself was that she had kissed him back. Automatically. Without hesitation. Usually the blonde would have been flustered but it wasn't like that this time.

WOAH! It took her a second to realize that he had kissed her.. Braeden Stonem kissed her? Was she daydreaming or something? Was this.. Could this be real? The blonde didn't care (though she hoped with all her heart that it was real) either way it was...amazing. Emma felt a little tingly, bubbly on the inside. Sparks. Her first real kiss.

His brown eyes widened in realization: he really had. He had just kissed her. She was in his arms and he had kissed her. Best part of it all? She'd kissed him back! She didn't push him away or slap him for being too forward, or anything of the sort. She had kissed him back.

"Wow…" muttered the boy a bit breathlessly. Yeah… he… wow. He had no idea what to think at that moment, besides that this was all too good to be true and he was going to be horribly upset if it all turned out to be a daydream. Oh Merlin, please don't let it be a dream.

"I… I'm sorry…" he said after a few moments of silence. He was pretty sure Emma had kissed him back and enjoyed the kiss, BUT, just in case she hadn't… he felt the need to apologize. He didn't want her to think he was some pedophile or something!

It took her a few minutes for her to wake up from this daydream. She snapped back into attention when she saw his facial expression. He looked puzzled.. almost confused.. But then all he said was wow. Yeah.. wow was the right word. "Yeah," she said, blushing slightly. It must have been a dream. Pinch. Pinch. PINCH! The blonde pinched herself and she didn't wake up. So it wasn't a dream.. It really had happened.

THEN HE WAS APOLOGISING!? "Brae! Brae! Don't apologize.." she began, grabbing his hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. "I'm not mad at you.. I kissed you back.." she added, blushing deeply. Why did he have to be so MERLIN'S BEARD's ADORABLE!?! Emma knew that she had fallen for him.. really fallen for him. "It was nice.." she added. Was she making a total fool out of herself for saying that?!

Braeden seemed a bit startled when Emma ordered him not to apologize. As she took his hand and squeezed it reassuringly, he flashed her one of his lopsided, goofy smiles that made him look like a silly little seven-year-old boy.

Basically. He was leaving it up to Emma. Did she want to risk losing their friendship and give dating a try? Or would they just remain as friends that… well… that were slightly more than friends, if that made any sense? He wasn't sure what he wanted himself, he only knew he wanted Emma - her kisses and her friendship. Was it possible to have both?

Were they in for a busy summer, or what? Destiny had no recollection of how they even decided to do all this stuff, but she was excited. Finally a summer she wouldn't have to spend with her crazy grandmother and annoying mother. And it would be even more fun because Mia, apparently, thought just like her..which was kinda scary,too. "Why don't you just levitate that?" Or they should have gotten the house elf to carry it for them. GAH! She didn't think.

And she didn't think that she really should have dried herself before deciding to go outside. It was cold and her hair was going to freeze. But that was all forgotten about that once Mia told her she never heard of a sea cabbage. She received a look of DISBELIEF. "It's a cabbage." Obviously. "And it grows in the sea. Sea cabbage."

She had certainly outdone herself this time. Perhaps it was the nerves with her first ever Quidditch match fast approaching mixed with the anxiety she had felt while watching the Hufflepuff versus Slytherin match. Lugging a rather large bag behind her, Kurumi finally came to a stop against one of the columns and collapsed to her knees. Melted was the more proper term to be honest.

Sighing at herself for being more than slightly over zealous, Kurumi took one of the individually wrapped packages from it and peeled back the brown paper to real one of the several hundred many rolled cakes she had finished baking. She had probably looked like a insane lion the way she was flailing about the kitchen. She was pretty sure she still had some powdered sugar and flour in her hair as well. At least, she was pretty sure her hair hadn't turned white for some random reason. There was nothing to really startle her at the moment.

Kurumi took out her want and transfigured a nearby fallen leaf into a fork and began to nibble on her cake.

"I-I did," she nodded shyly. "I read that today is National Rollled Cake day, so I felt the need to bake a few." Give or take a hundred. Not to mention that her excuse of blaming it on a so-called national holiday was only half the truth.

Usually when someone says 'alright' to her she usually leaves them alone to mind their own business, but in this case it was different she doesn't know why, but in this case it seemed like she needs to say something. She noticed that her hair is wet and to make it up to her, she walked behind her, taking her wand out, and dried her hair with the hot air charm to dry her hair, and maybe it'll make her feel better. The Ravenclaw sat next to her and said, "I feel really stupid even though I am a Ravenclaw." She hoped it would make her feel better because she isn't used to apologize to other people, but in this case she had to.
