A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.
Orabelle walked to the courtyard, she was in desperate need of some fresh air. The chilly November breezes blew through her hair making her feel slightly more at ease. It wasn't exactly freezing yet, but Orabelle had abandoned her shades and had now opted for warmer clothing... like... scarves. And things like that, after all, who knew when it might snow around here. With her hat in place she continued to stroll through the courtyard. This place was horrible.
"Danielle," Orabelle said when she saw her friend. She gave the blonde a warm smile and approached her, walking in her comfy and warm UGG boots. "How are you?" she greeted.
Dani pulled her cardigan further around her as she took off her shades- she'd been desperately hoping to see some hint of sunlight. She sighed in frustration and sat back against the wall frowning, but she smiled when she saw Orabelle.
"Hey, 'Belle" she said softly as she watched her appraoched- "I'm okay thanks..." she said honestly as she looked down at her own UGGs. She wasn't particularly fond of them but they were comfty she had to admit. "How about you?" she asked with a smile.

Not her clothes, if Dani ever walked out looking like she had shopped in downtown New York, not including SoHo, she would totally stop her friend from committing fashion suicide. No, it was her friend's expression.
"Just okay?" Orabelle asked, quirking one brow. That was nawt a good thing. She knew that being in this horrible place was just... depressing but Orabelle wouldn't let that bother her. Not till she gained control of this place. "I suppose I am slightly less than okay, after all, being in such a place is just... unacceptable," Orabelle said with a shrug of her shoulders and a slight smirk. "So, tell me what's bothering you," Orabelle said, flipping her hair and readjusting the tangle of silver and gold bracelets on one wrist.

Orabelle rolled her eyes. If someone asked her, that was just pathetic. If someone did that, they so obviously liked the other person. However, she didn't really say much about it. The boy Dani liked was so obviously clueless. "I say you just hex him a few," Orabelle muttered. She went back to listening to Danielle talking about her family. She totally understood how her parents worked, or at least, how much they worked. Given, her mother and father didn't exactly work that often but they still worked. "Well, as long as we have all that settled, it's time to go," Orabelle said with a grin.
Ah, forget ice cream. Orabelle would definitely settle for some nice froyo about now. "You can scream at people on your way, your parents obviously care as much as mine do," Orabelle said, fixing the grey and white striped scarf. "Merlin, my mum said that I might be able to go back to Beauxbatons, next term, but it depends of course," Orabelle said with a roll of her eyes. Why next term? Orabelle wanted to go... NOW. Ugh. "Whatever, Hogwarts is so two centuries ago, when we go back to Beauxbatons, we'll be where we belong," she said, smirking.

Nika skipped towards the courtyard and found a nice place to do her front rolls. She only needed to do 50... only.
Front rolls aren't that hard. They're just boring and tiring. Nika did a few front rolls and took a little people watching break. She saw the Slytherin Orabelle girl that had threatened her in honeydukes. Ugh *shiver*. Then there's that Josh kid that she met in the common room. Okay so pretty much nothing interesting.
So she continued doing front rolls. After the fifty were done she hoped up and decided to go and take a nice warm shower.

Winter always felt like a new start to Belle and this year was no different. Whether it was highlights or bangs she was going to start anew once New Year's came around. "What's new?"

"Anyway, yeah- so, you still planning a return to Beauxbatons?" she asked softly, she was... moving away from that idea- she don't know why she kept going back to it, but she knew James would never let her go back, so why bother.
Orabelle smiled softly to herself. "I suppose it is, but mind you, I'd still rather be in Beauxbatons," she said, waggling one perfectly manicured finger. As Danielle asked the question, Belle thought about it. Did she? "Yes, I do, I may be getting used to it here but I would prefer Beauxbatons over Hogwarts any day," Orabelle said with a nod. She wondered what it would be like leaving here though. She wondered when it would happen. "What about you?" she asked.

It wasn't like Orlando was purposely being mopey. They day just seemed gloomy and unhappy - the stupid November cold was affecting him in a bad bad way. Orlando loathed it. The sixteen year old followed Koala as he ran forward in the courtyard. How pathetic lifeee seemed at the moment. He had really never imagined this day would come when he would think of Hogwarts as a boring place.
Shaking his head at his own thoughts, the boy sat down the first bench he could find, his eyes still following the dog that seemed chirpy as usual - why wasn't the stupid day affecting Koala? What did he have to be so happy about!
Orlando Renaldi was jealous of his own dog.
How pathetic, indeed.

Cove walked out into the courtyard. She was bored and wanted to meet someone new. She looked around and found an empty place in the middle of the courtyard. Her camera was around her neck and she was planning taking some pictures.

"There are times when I would want nothing more than to get out of here... but then others when I really want to stay" Dani sighed- "But James will never let me leave" she shrugged with a little sigh. "He loved this place when he was here, like my Mum did" she rolled her eyes- "And because he's kinda new to this... parenting thing, I don't think he wants to put a foot out of line" she smirked at her bestie. "It's nice... actually getting a letter from home every week now, beats before" she laughed. "But, I'm still seeing my parents... that shoot's still on this summer" she winked at 'Belle. "Yeah, you really do have to come over some point this holiday" she nodded with a smile.

Orabelle nodded understanding Danielle completely. She craved the attention she had back at Beauxbatons but at the same time she was a bit relieved that she wasn't back there anymore. It was less effort put into making sure she looked perfect. Here, she just looked nice compared to everyone else without even trying. "Did he...? Well... you'll be able to go back someday, maybe," Orabelle offered as she sighed once more. She didn't want to go back to Beauxbatons without her bestie, but she would if she had to. "Maybe you should send a picture back to them all, to spite your parents a bit," Orabelle said with a giggle. After all, a picture meant a thousand words. "Something to say, thank you for having me here, I'm doing lovely," Orabelle offered. She hadn't touched her camera for a while and this may be an excuse to use it but Merlin she wanted to.
Oooh. Summer modeling. She was definitely happy to hear that. "I can't wait," Belle said sincerely. And to be in magazines and all over, she definitely couldn't wait till it was summer. About six more months... "Of course, you'll have to as well," Orabelle said with a smile. "And we totally have to go shopping somewhere decent." After all, Hogsmeade had nothing.
