Whoah whoah whoah! Zara stopped running as she saw Professor Lafay. She leaned against the wall, supporting herself as she panted.

Pant, pant. Hihi. What now? Was she supposed to continue running? It was homework after all, she wouldn't get scolded for that would she?

Then she heard a voice that addressed Nessie. Zara looked over to the direction of the voice and saw Daisy. The girl she'd hardly met at the train, when she had to leave again to find the food trolley. She smiled at Daisy and said, "H-*pant*-ey *pant* there *pant* Dai-*pant*-sy." She smiled, still panting. Whew, her heart sure was beating fast.

Zara watched as Nessie continued running. She was still there, panting as she leaned on the wall. Ahh, please no. Zara had asthma, well it was only mild. But it attacked her whenever doing these activities. She tried her best to inhale as much air as possible, though it was beginning to get hard to breathe.

Her feet were definitely going to fall off now.

Destiny couldn't believe what she was doing just to get Josh in trouble. But really, the PAIN in her feet was going to be so worth it once Lafay got a hold of him. She didn't mind that the boy was mad at her for elbowing Evelyn in the back of the head, but did he have to be disgusting about it? First the RAT SPLEEN down her shirt and now the sweaty, stinky and Josh stained shirt thrown at her FACE.

Was the boy ever going to learn? How many times did he need to lose his hands?

She continued to run, stealing glances over her shoulder to see if the Gryffindor was catching up to her and secretly thanking Evelyn that she made her run everyday. If it weren't for her, she would have never been able to make it to the courtyard and once she spotted the EXACT person she was headed for, she was GLAD she made it.

It was like her lucky day!

Skidding to a halt, Destiny crouched down behind Lafay. "Professooooor! Hide me!" Hehe.

Rosemary waved to Zara as she ran again through the Courtyard towards the next one. 'This DADA work is going to kill me!' She swore as some Gaelic flew through her mouth.

"I know!" Zara agreed. She stopped running already, resting on the wall. Her asthma was getting the best of her. Hardly unable to breathe anymore, she decided she needed a break.

"What's your name?" She grinned at the girl and waved back.

Rosemary returned back slightly and stopped again, "Me? I'm Rosemary.... Rosemary McGonagall...."

Nessie stopped running as she saw Zara did too. She ran her last bit back to Zara. She thought she had proberly run about 4 and a half miles by now. "Are you ok?" she asked seeing Zara out of breath. Nessie got really worried quick.

She then remembered about the proffessor. Nessie was a bit nervous to ask as she was quite a strict teacher, but it was proberly her only choice. "Erm.. Proffessor.. I don't think Zara is mananging to breath properly. I think she is having an asma attack!" said Ness waiting nervously for a reply.

Josh yelled as he rushed to the couryard right after the girl. It was pretty surprising how she had managed to escape him like that. There was no way she could tun faster than him. There was no way most people in this school could run faster than him and actually, seeminly she did not run faster yet somehow she managed to keep her track. Girls were weird. They had some odd power which let them always win against men.

''STOP!!'' the boy yelled again once his eyes spotted her into the couryard running towards the dark figure of a woman. Waaaaaaaait! That was....Professor Lafay! Right? RIGHT! Was the big and small she-snakes planning to meet and trap him here? Eeeh...yet since he was already within her eyesight there was no way to go plus running or walking away was for cowards.

So slowling down he approached the two Slytherins and let out a HUGE snort when he saw what Destiny was doing. Hide her? HIDE HER! Seriously? Of course, all sweaty and shirtless, Josh stopped right before Lafay and stared at her. ''Apparently...she is cheating!''

He nodded. "I guess most parents are like that. I'm sure my dad would have been that way if he didn't know what liquor was." The Gryffindor used to get considerably depressed when he explained the situation with his father but so many years had gone by that he had grown numb in regards to his wretched home life. He didn't really care about it anymore and it showed in the flat tone of his voice. He was too busy attempting to make something of himself at Hogwarts, no matter how odd of a reputation he got. If he couldn't have a decent family, then he would fix that by accumulating a few good friends to make up for it.

"It's okay," the fourth year assured Samira, giving her a weak smile. He placed a dark hand on top of her own lightly. "I mean, well...it's not okay but I'm pretty used to it by now. I've only got a few years left at that house anyway and then I can set off on my own. Maybe I'll even get a chance to go to Egypt sometime. I'm sick of living in the same old place. After I graduate, I'd like to do something where I'll be able to see the rest of the world. Maybe a COMC-related job..."

Dani walked out into the Courtyard and sat down on the edge in one of the... windows- what were they? She smirked to herself and looked around- wondering if 'Belle was around anywhere. She had to show her the completely finished designs- and she had so much gossip from Beauxbatons it was unbelievable. She pushed back her blonde curls and looked around as she elegantly crossed her legs.

Orabelle walked out to the Courtyard with her camera around her neck. Photojournalism. She was going to practice that and complain to her parents with proof about how terrible this place was. And that meant that Orabelle was going to need pictures. After all, a picture spoke a million words so if her parents refused to listen to her and her letters, she would have to send pictures.

"Dani~" Orabelle said as she flashed her camera in her friend's face with a smirk. "Did I mention say cheese?" she asked as she looked at the photo from the screen of the camera. Hehe.

Having just come from an argument with some random older girl, Presley sat down on a bench in the corridor, curled up her knees, and for the second time in a week, started sobbing. She was strong, that's what she liked best about herself, but lately it seemed like her strength was all show. Like she could be strong in front of people, bu as soon as nobody was watching, she would have a complete breakdown. Why couldn't she be normal? Why couldn't she be strong all the time, eat normally, and have parents who were not only both alive, but who cared? Presley could probably destroy her life, and her father would be proud. He never knew that all of the things she'd ever done were to get him to pay attention to her. She wanted him to set limits, to show that he cared enough to take care of her. And on top of all of that was this stupid girl? Presley just bawled. She didn't need any of this. She just wanted to be normal.

Dani smirked as she saw Orabelle appear with a camera- with many ideas as to why.
She jumped as 'Belle took a picture of her- hopefully she looked alright. But Dani never looked bad in pictures. Well, she liked to think she didn't- she did want to be a model/designer of course.
"Whatcha doing with the camera then?" she asked curiously as she smirked prettily at her friend. "I'm guessing it's not just to take pretty pictures" she laughed.

Orabelle giggled as she saw Dani jump and took a seat next to her, not really caring. She was wearing jeans today after all so it didn't matter as much. She tilted the screen in Dani's direction. "No worries, you don't look hideous," Orabelle reassured before setting it down on her lap. She kicked her feet back and forth off the ground. "Taking pictures, but not of the beauty of the school... of the horrible things this place has to offer," Orabelle said correcting her blonde friend. She glanced around. "That way, with proof, my parents will have to send me back to Beauxbatons, a Bellamonte cannot live in less than satisfactory conditions."

With that she snapped a picture of the disgusting, dirty ground. "What are you doing out here?" Orabelle asked.

Cove sat in the middle of the courtyard messing with her camera. She wanted to meet someone knew, butmaybe John would stop by and they could hang. She hadn't seen him very much and missed him. Especially after what she saw in her surf magazine, she wanted to celebrate with him.

John walked in the Courtyard, he found an empty spot to sit in. However there was a young, beautiful girl sitting near there as well.

"uhm, excuse me Miss. Do you mind if I sit here?" Johnathan asked with a remarkable smile that detailed his dimple on his left cheek.

John was wearing his uniform shirt with his sleeves folded up to his elbows, showing the sillouette of his muscles.

Cove looked up. There was a muscular guy standing above her. "Yeah sure, go ahead." She said. He was cute. Especially his muscles....No! You like John. She thought to herself. But John didn't have that cute dimple. "Hi, I'm Cove Brett."

John smiled once again and sat down.

"Nice to meet you, Cove. That's a very beautiful name, it suits you" He said as he wiggled his eyebrows and with a soft chuckle

"I'm Johnathan, but please call me John" John introduced himself.

"sooo, what is a pretty girl like you, doing by herself?" He asked.

Oh he was making it so hard. "Oh, thank you. My parents say it's a true surfers name." Cove said, bragging a little.

"Nice to meet you John." She said. "You have the same name as my best friend."

"Just messing with my camera and enjoying the day. What about you?"

Samira ached to see her friend like this. No one-especially not Levi-deserved this. She didn't exactly know what went on at his home, but she had a pretty good idea....and she didn't like it one bit. The sad tone in the Gryffindor's voice made her so angry at his father for making him go through this, but she pushed down the outrage for Levi's sake.

She shook her head sadly, and a dark curl fell over her shoulder. She pushed it back. "You shouldn't be used to it though. You don't deserve it." That was an understatement. How many good, pure people were there in the world that received so much less than they deserved? Despite this, Samira was so proud of Levi for knowing what he wanted to do with his future. "I think that's a fantastic idea. Getting away, pursuing your dream, that shows you're above him." By 'him' she meant his father, but Samira was pretty sure he knew that. The Slytherin gave the smallest hint of a smile. "You know Levi, you're a really, really good person." She said sincerely. "And I mean it. I don't think there are many people as strong as you, and I'm really happy we're friends." It wasn't just the obvious facts. It was small things, like the fact that he would rescue a hurt bat, or share his comic books with her. The world needed more people like Levi Thomas.

John chuckle admirably.

"a true surfer huh? well i think they made a great choice" John said with a smile as he flashed her a wink.

"hehe, well John is a quite common name. I'm named after my father, and grandfather. So I'm like John the 3rd" he said giggle.

"well it's mostly common in Hawaii" he added.

"nice are you a photographer?" John asked, with a bright smile.

"I just needed some time off, from being couped up in the castle" he said with a slight, sigh.

"Yeah, I guess, but the town I love in is called Sunset Cove, so my middle name is Sunset. Cove Sunset Brett, great name right?" Cove asked sarcatically.

"I guess it is. John the third, sounds regal." Cove said.

"Do you live in Hawaii? 'Cause I love in California."

"Yeah and many other things. I play violin and surf as well." Cove answered.

"TIme off is good for the soul. Well almost everything is good for the soul...."

Kyle ran her hand through her hair, she didn't look the 'same' as she had just earlier that week - not at all. Thanks to scissors, good friends, and just darn good luck she'd chopped her hair a bit. It was now, slightly shorter - but not bad, no it looked good on her all tousled and everything.

The first person she was unveiling the new "look" on was none other than good friend and soon to be quidditch competition Selina. She wasn't feeling as awkward anymore about the other day's 'issue' in class but she was going to have fun.

You know, change her look get out of the slump she had felt that she was in. Smiling she looked around the courtyard as she waited for her friend to show up and well to shock her.

She would shock her - and then maybe if she wanted teach her the spell she made - none the less it would be good for team spirit to have hair the color of your house colors? She smirked, remembering how she'd changed her own hair to red the day before with nothing but a wand.

"hehe Sunset is a way better middle name, than Aviator" John teased, since that was his middle name, which he was very proud of.

"No, i live in Boston, but I was born in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Califronia girl huh? that's pretty cool" He said with a smile.

"well maybe we can play music together sometime, I play the guitar and drums" John said

*sigh* "yes, very well said..." John said as he seemed a little pensive as he leaned back and stared at the sky.

"sometimes, i just wonna fly away...ya' know to like relax." he added.

Selina ran down to the Courtyard. She and Kyle had made plans earlier in the week to meet up since things always became so hectic around the try out season. Besides she missed her motherly Ravenclaw. But as of when she had seen her last Kyle had seemed quite down. She could not put her finger on what it was that was making her friend so upset, but she did not want her to act like that. Maybe, then again, Selina was completely off base. Maybe she was just over thinking things.

She kept her pace at a good running pace until she finally reached the courtyard. It was empty. That was odd.

Her eyes traveled around and she saw a young girl with short blonde hair looking around. She was mistaken- someone was there. The question was, where was Kyle. But then she did a double take. The short haired girl was Kyle, "OH MY MERLIN!! Your hair looks fantastic!"

"I like Aviator. It has a nice ring to it. Sunset is pretty but, I don't know. I've always asked them why Cove Sunset? And they've always responded with 'Because you're a Sunset Cove baby and we didnt want you to have the Sam name as the town.' I've always thought that was a cool story."

"Yeah that would be fun." She smiled.

Cove followed John's gave to the sky. "Beautiful isn't it? Cab you see this stuff in Boston? I've heard its a pretty big city."

"Definatly. Have nine other adopted siblings, I know exactly why you mean. Teres always that pain inside yourself and them there's that sense of adventure."
