Fee made her way to the courtyard and sighed a little.This was kinda complicated and during the day the blonde had grown a baaad headache.Some fresh air would surely do her good.Walking down to one of the empty benches,the blonde noticed her boyfriend sitting there.With a smile on her face the girl plopped down next to him and kissed him on the cheek."Hey hottie",she said wiggling her eyebrows and immediately took his hand.Her amazing boyfriend.

"It's what the teacher said." She said, with her cheeks puffy now, like a balloon, as she pretended to blow. "Well, I haven't done it yet, actually." She smiled sheepishly, all the balloonish face gone. Well, she was planning to do it later in the afternoon though, in her free time.

Selina hugged her friend back and shrugged, "I don't know. Probably be very upset because your boyfriend is hard to decode. Or worse... be going to Elektra for advice," Selina laughed.

While Violet continued to squeeze Selina she suddenly felt a sharp pang of pain, "Ow, Oh no. Violet... you're... squeezing... to... hard. Ribcage... breaking... please... stop."

Hugo looked up at his girlfriend as he held her hand. "Fee..." he began. "If you want to be with Edmond, I understand..." He looked at her hand in his. Hugo knew he was screwed. This guy was the perfectest thingy ever.

Okay now Fee was shocked.This wasnt what she had expected him to say."You know that he is back?",the blonde said, eyes wide open.Why did everyone know everything?Edmond that she had a boyfriend,Hugo that her ex was back.What the hell?!The blonde let go of her boyfriends hand and stared at him."You really think i want to go back to him,right?",she said in an mad and disappointed voice,"you really think i would break up with you like that huh?"Did Hugo ever think about that Fee actually had real feelings for him?Probably not.

Hugo backed away a bit. He hadn't expected her to react like that. He looked from her hand to her eyes. He swallowed. "I-I just thought he was the love of your life," he said, lowering his voice. "And that I just got lucky..." It wasn't that he didn't trust her. He was just insecure.

Fee sighed a little and brushed a strand of her away from her face. He had no idea what she was feeling,he really had no idea.Man how could she explain it to him without embarrassing herself completely?!"Hugo",the girl said in a softer voice now taking his face in both of her hands,"i really,really loved him and he is still important to me and always will be."Hopefully the Ravenclaw wouldnt get her wrong. This was really important to her."But you didnt just get lucky",the girl shook her head,"you should know that i am not like that.I would never play with you or your feelings.I told you i wanted to be your girlfriend because of you and not because he had left me. During the summer you did so much for me,you were always there,held my hand and cheered me up.I fell in love with you and that isnt a lie."Breathing heavily the girl looked into her boyfriends eyes and waited for an answer.

Gwen felt like charmed in that place…it was so relaxing, that she started daydreaming-something she had never done before.

Upon hearing a voice behind her, she suddenly ‘woke up’ and, just in time to prevent herself from falling she managed to keep her balance.

She turned around angrily to see what the cause of her nearly-embarrassing accident was and, when she noticed Ari she started laughing. ‘You can’t greet like normal people, can you?’ she asked grinning, hoping Ari wouldn’t mind her stupid lines.

She got really enthusiastic when Ari was approaching her, and millions of questions came in her head. She also had lots of things to tell Ari. However, when the girl got near her, she couldn’t say a word…Ari already started talking.

‘I’m really glad for you …wow..Gryffindor- congratulations!!! I like my house as well…my housemates are all right. I mean it is really wierd that I know more people from other houses, rather from my own’, she responded. ‘I loove the classes…in specially Potions and History of Magic- how about you?’, she asked.

‘No! I completely forgot about the spell for my cat…thanks for reminding me about it…I really need to go to the library, maybe I can find something there-OR..’, she stopped saying and eyed her friend, ‘Or we can simply invent something together’.

Then, realizing Ari was looking at her folder, she added: ‘I have a few drawings here…actually, they’re more sketches…And I don’t have many here, I left most of them inside, but you can check these out, .if you wish’, she said.

Hugo got lost in her eyes for a moment. Hugo had no idea how to answer her. Instead, he leaned in and gently kissed her lips. He closed his eyes as he felt his lips meeting hers. Time seemed to stop. His heart seemed to stop beating. Or did it beat really fast? He felt paralized but also very alive as he felt all warm. Then... His brain kicked in. Was he doing this right? Was he really bad at kissing? Did he ruin the moment?

Fee was waiting for the answer and panicked a little as he didnt answer immediately.Had she done it wrong?!Please,not.The blonde wouldnt be able to survive if she lost her boyfriend.He meant the world to her.But instead of screaming at her he leaned in and the girl's breath hitched as she realized what was about to happen.As she closed her eyes the Slytherin could feel her heart starting to beat faster.As the girl threw her arms around her boyfriend's neck,she pressed her lips on his and melted.Glitter,she had waited for this soo long.

After what seemed hours, maybe days, Hugo slightly pulled away and looked in her eyes.

That. Was. AWESOME. It was like a rollercoaster which he was scared to go on but now that he had done it he wanted to go again and again and again!

When he opened his eyes and looked at her again, he played a little with her hand. His heart was still racing. He blushed. "W-was that good?" Course not. He was such a fail rabbit. Why did he even ask?

"oooh..." Katelynn said, looking at the little creatures on Fee's shoulder. Wait.. hold them? If she was brave, she'd have been in Gryffindor - duh! But then again..
Katelynn smiled. "Su- sure!" she said, and tried to imagine what the little creatures must feel like.. fluffy, perhaps?
Katelynn squeezed her eyes together a bit. "Hiding!" she said, in a mysterious voice. "From you!" she said, and burst into her most evil laughter. But -- then she realized all the students sorrounding them, and she.. well, stopped! And in stead, she started laughing.
"I'm good too!" she managed to say through the laughing. "I've really missed you, though! How have you been?"

"It's really nice to meet you too!" Katelynn said, beaming as well.
"Really? that's kind of fun - I only know one Gryffie!" she said and chuckled. Wow, this girl really seemed.. well, exactly like Katelynn in a way! finally someone besides Kita who might be as weird as me.....

Katelynn grinned as she saw Nika's reaction to Aurea. "You should!" she said eagerly. "It's actually really great.. I just got Aurea this summer! Aurea means 'golden' in Latin.. I actually found it kinda hard to come up with a name?"

Nessie had just got out of class. She was exhausted and really didn't feel like eating. So instead she decided to go sit in the courtyard and read a bit. She took out her school book (Quiditch through the ages.) and started reading.

Ruby had wandered out to the Courtyard to get a bit of fresh air and to finally write that letter to her father. It was really overdue and she knew he would start sending her letters and peppering her with questions. Are you going to your classes? Are you doing your homework? Are you being nice to everyone??? Such nonsense.

So the redhead found a nice place to sit down and leaned against a wall. She unrolled a piece of parchment that she had brought along with her, and then whipped out a Self-Inking Quill--she had just bought it this past summer. No more lugging around ink everywhere! Sighing a bit, Ruby placed the tip of the quill on the parchment and began.



She put down her quill and reread the letter. The fact that 99% of it was a downright lie made her snicker--the only true thing she had said was that she was 'fine.'
"That should keep him quiet for a while," She murmured to herself, reading the letter once more.

Ari tried to cover her mouth so that Gwen wouldn't see her laughing, but failed miserably. Still chuckling, she waited for her friend to regain her balance and replied: 'Sorry about that, I was just very happy to see you.' That was the truth.

'Thank you, I'm proud to be a Gryffie.' she admitted. 'Oh, I know what you mean. Most people I knew at the beginning were from Houses other than my own, but now I have met lots of lovely Gryffindors.' the firstie replied. 'You should spend more time in the Common Room, and I'm sure you'll befriend many Eagles.' Ariadne advised.

'History of Magic is my favourite.' the girl nodded. 'I like most of them, although I'm kind of lost in Muggle Studies. I grew up in the Wizarding World.' she explained. 'But Professor Zookara is really nice, I'm sure I'll manage to learn something from him.'

Inventing spells? That's what Shaw made them do in Transfiguration. If a Professor encouraged spell-invention, it must be safe, right? But Shaw was rather crazy. Hmm...'I think the library is still our best option.' Ari decided to play safe.

'Sure, I'd love to see them! I didn't know you were an artist!' Ariadne smiled. 'What do you mostly draw?' she asked, waiting for Gwen to open the folder.

Kita raised an eyebrow whilst a smirk spread across her lips. "You know what?" she said, "I would actually laugh if you end up finding the perfect guy when you think you're not ready and you end up finding out that you actually ARE ready for a relationship."

Ok, if Louisa understood that then Kita was personally going to give her a medal.

Kita frowned. Did she really hint all of that? At a feast? Boy was Kita a party pooper. Her own memory sucked so that meant that she had to have brought a grey cloud along with her... from home. She sighed; not just because this was hard but because she had said it before and things just didn't seem to get easier. "I found out i am adopted," she whispered, staring at her knees.

Okay. Lexi was not keen on the stank attitude that Ivan had been pushing around, but she did know it wasn't like him. Taking a seat on a bench she crossed her legs at the ankle and sighed as she waited for him.

For NOW her wand was holstered and she hoped she didn't have to ruin anymore of his clothes... Seriously. Bratty little thing. SIGH. Now where the heck was he?

Ivan, with a glance at his watch, hurried down to the courtyard. He was late and knew she was already mad at him. Though he had apologized so he should get a little credit.

He looked around as he skidded to a halt since he'd been running and spotted her sitting on a bench. "Hey Lexi. Sorry had to write an owl." And then the ruddy thing didn't want to cooperate. How he hated animals. "Thanks for meeting me," he said taking a seat beside her but not too close in case she decided to like...strike or something.

Lexi folded her hands in her lap and looked at him as he skidded up beside her. Why was it that everybody seemed to be in such a big hurry this term? It was maddening.

Nodding her head she sighed slightly. "Hey Ivan. No problem. I told you I would be here for you. You just can't lash out at me like that. You still owe Salander an apology. He has been very gracious where you are concerned and I think you need to show him a little respect, Ivan." Yes. We are going to lecture you a little bit.

Then perhaps give you hugs.

Was he really getting lectured? Really?! "I did apologize." So there. He kind of wanted to ask what she meant by he was being very gracious but left it alone. It wasn't any concern of his and he still didn't exactly like him but was tolerating him better.

"Anyway that's not why we're here. I wanted to tell you about mum. The whole story but this has to stay between you, me, James and Mia. I can't have it going around." Man if it did...every girl he DIDN'T want would be hanging onto him. "Mum's cancer is in operable. She's going to die and with the extent of it the doctor says it'll be soon" he said in a rush and then took a deep breath. "You know what that means for me...and why I can't have anyone knowing this," he said turning his head to look at her.

"When did you apologize to him? You said some pretty nasty things," she said softly. Things he needed to keep to himself. "Although I owe you an apology as well. I suppose I shouldn't have said some of the things I said to you either."

She nodded her head slightly and steeled herself to hear about his mum. Tears sprang up immediately. Even the mention of Mia didn't make her want to spit at the moment.

"Oh Ivan I am so sorry... I am not sure if you know this, but I am pretty decent at keeping secrets, Ivan. I don't intend on telling anyone your business. And if Jim wants to talk to me about it, which I doubt, then that would be the only person to speak to about it." She reached over and took his hand and gave it a squeeze before lifting that hand to wipe tears from her eyes.

"Will you stay here? Or go... I mean, I understand you may have to leave for a while to deal with things. And does this mean... You or Miles takes over the estate? That always confused me..." basically because she had no ideas about aristocracy... Heh.

"I did on twitter. He never got back to me." Not much of an apology but he generally didn't go searching for the guy. He laughed slightly at her comment and shook his head, "Yes well we'll both take part of the blame and leave it at that."

He had thought she would start crying and squeezing her hand back at her words he wrapped his free arm around her in a hug. "I know. I just needed you to know how important that was. I don't need every single girl surrounding me like I'm the bloody Prince of England for a title and money." Yeah...he might show off on a date but those were never girls he actually wanted.

"No I'll stay here to finish. I have to. But I'll be leaving over the break to take care of stuff. Sorry I can't come over for Christmas. And I'll be in charge of the estate. I already hold my father's position since I'm of age now." Something he wasn't looking forward to at all once school finished. At least he didn't have Miles' job. When Uncle Aral died his hyperactive cousin would have some big shoes to fill. "It's not as bad as Miles though," he said trying to lighten the mood a bit. "I just...thought you should know what was going on."

Lexi tutted at him a bit and shook her head. That wasn't a proper apology and he knew it. But given the current circumstances she would let it slide... for the moment. Nodding now she sighed. They were both to blame, for sure.

Lexi sniffled a little bit and rolled her eyes dramatically. "You are so full of yourself." That was all she could think of at the moment... leaning her head against his shoulder for a moment she wiped her face on his jacket and smiled to herself. Hehe.

"I think I may rescind all invites for the holidays actually... I don't think I realized how much stuff I need to do in such a short time. I have vaults and that house to deal with. I am not sure I will be able to even enjoy the holidays for working on things," she said sadly. She had always loved the holidays... now they all seemed tarnished.

She nodded her head and lifted it off of his shoulder. "Well you know what you have to do and you are prepared to do it, even if it sucks... so you are a bit ahead of the game on that, yeah?" she said numbly.

Was it always business? Would he have time to grieve at all?

Ivan gave her a smile and squeezed her slightly. "It's my charming Vorpatril smile that lures them in," he teased. "Ah you know better than most how much of it is real and how much is just show," he said with a small smile.

"Well if you can take the time to visit her she'd appreciate it. I'll be away dealing with some stuff for most of the holidays. Probably come back for Christmas." He gave her another squeeze and leaned closer to kiss the top of her head. It'll be alright. Well he hoped so anyway.

"Yeah something like that." Not really though he felt like he was about to drown. "So what do you want for Christmas?" he asked changing the subject.

Blowing out a huff of air she blew her hair from her face and looked at him from the corner of her eye. "Or the annoying Vorpatril traits that make everyone crazy." And yes, she knew that most of it was show. More than most in some cases.

Nodding her head vigorously she sat up straighter and wiped her face with both hands. "She won't mind Salander being with me... will she? I won't be in the UK for very long at all, Ivan and while I am I will have his valet and his elves running all over doing this and that. I wouldn't even think about bringing him, but I think given the circumstances, he might get a better understanding as to why we are still friends... ya know?" she asked very quietly not wanting to make eye contact.

"Oh no, I don't want anything at all. I just wish everyone could be together without any hostility and such... but that's not going to happen. And we are all getting older... and busier it seems. So I think this might be the last little while that we will all be together... these last terms here at Hogwarts. That's awfully sad isn't it? Well. I just hope everyone is safe and happy this holiday. As well as they can be anyway," she said in a rare moment of clarity for her. Selflessness. Not her style. Geez. She needed to stop with the potions altogether.
