Zara's head was still spinning. Like it was twisting, everything was in a blur. So she closed her eyes, so as not to get any dizzier. Well, she tried. Next thing she knew she was lying on the floor. Yes lying down on it, not sitting anymore.

Opening her eyes, she saw Nika. "A bit, I guess." She smiled weakly. This means one thing for Zara--no more twirling. She chuckled a bit.

Nika was quite proud of herself. Her quick thinking nearly saved Zara's life. Yes, if Zara was still standing she would've died, okay? She smiled to herself happily then looked back at the Zara who sat next to her. Make that Lied down next to her. So maybe this whole sitting thing didn't work to well.

She chuckled at Zara's reply then she remembered what they had been sorta talking about before all of the dizziness. "So who is the guy that you like?" She said nudging Zara.

Zara was about to close back her eyes again, when Nika asked her about...*gulp* the guy. Trying to act as innocent as possible, she said, "Guy? What guy?"

Rebecca noticed how Oakey would occasionally look down at his feet. "I'm guessing he doesn't want to step on my feet," she thought. "You dance good," she said. "Like really good. You done this before?"

He was getting into the groove now. Rebecca had complemented his dancing, No, I've never actually danced before. Oakey told her. Thanks, you're pretty good at this too.

Love chase...

LOVE CHASE? With Destiny Shepard? Eeeeeeeeh not even in the underworld. Giving the coward she-snake a quick glare, Josh wondered how come did this look like a love chase. Did he look all lovey dovey with...her? And whaaaaa? Kiss in front of her? Kissing Destiny? Crossing his strong arms over his bare chest, Josh gave Lafay a look of disbelief. ''I would rather kiss the Giant Squid'' How could she say that anyway for she knew how much he loved Evelyn?

Now what was Destiny doing there behind the woman? What was with the dramatic shudder? Meeeeeeeeeeeeh. Any people thought he was crazy, hadn't they met this total craziness called Destiny Shepard yet? Who would hide behind the Potions Mistress anyway while being chased by Joshua Carter? That might have scared an ordinary person but, nah, not Josh. She had to try something better.

Once the girl's voice rose again, the lion boy moved his dark brown gaze back on her the look he had given to Lafay immediately turning into a glare the moment the eyes found the she-snake.

WAIT!!! What was she doing with his wet-with-sweat shirt?

Seriously, Destiny!!?

His mouth dropping open with shock as he couldn't really believe how an evil potential those Slytherin women had. Eyes also widening, he was unable to speak out of shock. ''I...'' at least he managed to utter ''...didn't do anything to be thrown into the dungeons''

"Hehe. Thank you, Rebecca said. "I've never really danced either." She was starting to get comfortable around Oakey, since she kinda liked him. "So when did you find out you were a wizard?" she asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"I see..." She said looking at the shirt she was holding in her hands. "So... he throws you his shirt... as a sign of affection... and you... so disgusted by this... promptly store it in your bag?" She said looking at the girl. Wouldn't most girls, would have thrown it on the floor, shoved it back in his face, or if they had been like Hecate, set it on fire.

"A kiss from the squid can be arranged, Carter." Hecate said sharply. Just because she was questioning Destiny didn't mean she didn't believe her... yet.

"Well that depends, and I think I will remain the judge of that." She crossed her arms and frowned. "What did you do?" She asked the boy. She'd gotten the girl's part of the story... let's hear the boy's.

Great. Exactley what I hoped she wouldn't ask. The cat's name. 'Well,I named my cat.....', she begann saying and then caughed, just to gain a little bit more time. Think, Gwendolyn, THINK!, she told herself but no good names of pets came into her head. Ok, change he subject! Quick!

'Er...why don't you sit there for the...portrait!', she said. 'I'm gonna start drwing...just don't get too enthusiastic, I don't guarantee it will come out right'. Great, she had such a talent in making the good mood go away...

But, having noticed that Ari was looking puzzled at her drawing she started covering it with her left hand. Truth was, the portrait was only a mixture of lines so far... It looked bad because it was still bald. Despite the fact that Gwen usually added the hair in the end, she started working on it right now. She didn't want Ari to think it won't come out nicely.



She hated when people where checking out her drawings when they weren't done. She still had a lot to do to it,and Ari was expecting it to remain like this. No way! Gwen had o distract Ari so that she won't stare at the drawing untill it would be finished.

'So, what's new with you?', Gwen asked her friend.

Finlay really seemed to be in such a good mood recently. He knew exactly why it was though. Fallon. He couldn't get her out of his thoughts. And it was kind of annoying really, because he couldn't think straight. He hadn't seen her since that night that they'd spent together, most of it in some dungeon. He really wanted to see her again.
Pushing those thoughts out of his head he wandered along the courtyard, pulling his blue scarf tighter around his neck. It was a bit chilly out here. Glancing around, he wandered over to a bench, and sat down. Maybe he could think about things out here for a while...

Fallon walked outside, wearing an outfit fit for the cooler weather. Her hair was down and the curls were falling slightly around her face. Her camera wasn't hanging around her neck, but it was put away nicely in her purse because she didn't know when she was going to need it.

Fallon was just walking around, when she spotted Finn sitting on a bench by himself. Even though they'd promised to see each other at breakfast the next day, they didn't. Fallon had overslept and barely made it to class that day. Now seeing him, it brought back that confusing flood of emotions she had experienced that night. She let out a sigh before she walked over. She had to collect herself so she would have a sudden outburst of whatever emotion decided to plague her.

"Hey Finn." She smiled as she sat down next to him on the bench. She gently set her purse down on the ground next to the bench. It would be fine there.

At first when he heard her voice he thought that maybe he was dreaming. She surely wouldn't be out here? It was too cold. But before he looked up he felt someone sit beside him. Oh. She was here. "Hi Fallon..." Finlay smiled, as he looked up. He was really happy that she was here. They hadn't seen each other like they had planned, which had made him kind of sad. But she was here now.

And it was making him think back to the other night. All those feelings again. He hadn't felt like that before. And Fallon being here had brought them all to the front of his mind again. "You look pretty..." He mused, before he could really stop himself. But he was telling the truth. She did ook really pretty. Her hair was all curly, and he really liked it.

Fallon could tell that Finn hadn't seen her coming. She smiled back at him. As she looked at his face, all of those emotions flowed back towards her. It was strange to think about how confused one guy could make her. Boys were very strange creatures that just seemed to do that though.

"Thanks. You look handsome." As always. She added quietly to herself. She looked at him and smiled. "So what brings you out here on this chilly day?" At least it would give them something to talk about. She could feel that slight hint of awkwardness encroaching on their conversation. It was not a good thing.

Finlay was glad that it was chilly outside, so that he could blame his slightly red cheeks on the cold wind that was blowing, rather than the fact that Fallon had made him blush again. "Thanks..." Many girls had told him that he was handsome, but when Fallon told him, it kind of meant more to him. That she really did mean it. It made him smile, and be happy. Fallon always seemed to make him happy, and they had only just started being friends again.

Oh. Why he was out there? Finlay shrugged, as he turned to fact her a little. "Just wants to go somewhere to think...." To think about her actually. But now she was here, and all he was thinking was how pretty sure was. Man. He was so shallow. There were tons of things that he liked about Fallon, but all he could think about now was how pretty she was.

Fallon took in Finn's red cheeks but thought nothing of it. It was chilly out after all and hers were probably just as red from the weather. That's right. She was going to blame any blush that appeared on the chill. She just mumbled "Mhm" and looked around the courtyard. It was fairly empty which wasn't surprising. It was chilly out. Wow. She'd thought that a lot.

"Sitting out here really is a good place to think..." Wow. That sounded kind of stupid. Fallon still did not understand why being around Finn did this to her. Her emotions were just so confusing. She didn't know if she should say anything else. They'd gone from completely comfortable to awkward in the matter of days...

VAT? But Zara just said- b-b-but she- And the promise- and the huh? "The guy. You know the guy." She said nudging Zara. Either this sudden dizziness had caused her to get some sort of memory blast or she was just trying to avoid the question. "You said that you knew who the guy you wanted was." Ring a bell Zara? "That guy."

'Oh! You mean Patroclus?' She thought. Then began to wonder if she said that out loud because she quickly put her hands over her mouth to shut herself up before she said anything.

Sitting up straight slowly, she removed her hands from her mouth. Finally, when she could think properly, she said, "Ohh, that guy? I was just kidding." Zara managed to let out a chuckle.

"Don't sell yourself short Kyle. I've seen you play... you're good. I mean you aren't going to be the next Viktor Krum, but you're good. Jacob would be stupid not to play you, then again Jacob is stupid in general so who am I to say anything? He may just sit you out because he is that dumb, but you are good enough to help Ravenclaw win the Cup." Selina looked around to check who was about and continued, "Just don't tell Simon I said that."

Finlay watched her, wondering if she was cold. It was pretty chilly out here, and he really didn't want her to get too cold. He'd ask her in a minute. They could have a little cuddle around, and it wasn't like there was anyone around so nobody could talk about them. "Are you cold?" He asked, with a small smile. He was totally up to cuddling. It was nice, and it would keep them both warm. Or maybe they could just head back inside, that'd work too.

"Yeah....theres not many people around..." He mused, leaning back on the bench a bit, trying to get as comfortable as he could. It wasn't that easy on the bench. It was kind of uncomfortable. It seemed really awkward, and that kind of confused Finlay. They'd been so comfortable with each other a few days ago, but now things were really awkward. It was weird, and he didn't like it.

Fallon wasn't too bothered by the chill right now. She knew that she probably would be eventually. Besides, it was a nice day to take some photographs for her portofolio. The lighting from the sun was perfect....Wow. She didn't realize how artsy she'd become. Anywho...Finn was asking her if she was cold. "Kinda." That was the shortest way she could describe it. Wow.

Fallon looked around and nodded. That was another reason she'd decided to come out here. She wouldn't have to worry about people in robes or such in her pictures. She would not be able to use those of course..."I think this is probably the emptiest I've ever seen the courtyard." Fallon used to come out her all of the time. Especially in second year. Way back when when she was with Evan. That was a long time ago now...

Nessie had decided to come for a walk with Puffles. She took a seat on a bench, took out a book, put Puffles on her lap, then started to read while she stroked him. She was getting really excited for her birthday there was only a few more days to go. Though she was still nervous for the day as her old best friend wouldn't be there. A tear slid down her cheek as she thought of her friend. Nessie wiped it away before anyone could see and carried on reading her book.

Oh. So she was a little cold. Finlay smiled, moving one of his arms, and wrapping it around her, pulling her closer. Although he did think of something after he had done it that maybe it would make thinks more akwkward. But he really like Fallon , so he would try to make in not that awkward. He smiled at, rubbing her arm a little. "Well maybe I can try to keep you warm..." It was his duty right? He was head boy, and he wasn't going to let anyone get cold right. Especially not a pretty girl like Fallon.

"Mmm..." Finn nodded, with a smile. He hadn't spent much time down here, but he sure hadn't seen it this empty. It made him wandere if it really was far to cold for most the students to come. "We must be either very brave....or very stupid..." Or maybe a bit of both. "For coming out of here..." But he really didn't mind the cold, not if it meant he got to see Fallon.

Fallon smiled at Finn as he put his arm around her shoulders. That slight awkward feeling seemed to slip away. To her at least. "That would be nice..." she mused as she laid her head on his shoulder. It just seemed like that natural thing to do at this moment in time. Plus, it put her closer to Finn and his body heat.

Fallon looked around the empty courtyard, smiling at some of her past memories. She'd had some good times here with some people she'd lost touch with. Right now, she didn't want to think about that though. She was here with Finn, not them. She giggled. "Probably a little bravery and stupidity." She was the one who had picked this day to come and take photographs, which probably wasn't going to get done anytime soon at this rate...

The awkwardness seemed to have gone as they snuggled a little, as Finlay smiled, holding her close. "I thought you might agree..." He whispered quietly, almost like it was bad for them to be out here together. It probably was, for him at least. Finn had seen the looks Iris had been giving him over the last few days. She was not a happy bunny. Finlay really didn't care though. It was up to Fallon if she wanted to spend time with him, and right now she did.

Oh? Finlay laughed, feeling a lot more comfortable with her closer to him. He felt warmer too. Maybe Fallon was the warmer was out of the two of them. "Seems we should be in gryfffindor doesn't it?" He mused with a little laugh. He was joking of course, Finlay rather liked being in ravenclaw.
