This corridor is a simple, airy hallway with openings to allow in as much sunshine as possible and fresh air. It is an excellent transition from the school to the grounds as it exits out into the courtyard.

Conan pulled his cloak tighter. He shook his head though, "You need your cloak. It is really cold." He did sit down on the step next to Treyen though. And he felt a tingle through his buttcheeks. It was coooooold. Burrr.

He nodded, "Yeah. We meet. And talk. Sometimes." Not a lot. But enough to say they were good friends. Not as good as him and Treyen though. He couldn't go a day without seeing Trey.

Orabelle looked at the smile and rolled her eyes and pointed at herself. "Slytherin," she said simply. "So, what's on your mind?" Orabelle asked as she sat back on the bench, looking up and the cloudy sky. Winter did make this place look like a kingdom worth ruling. She looked at the garment bags and nodded.

"Thanks, I'll carry them back, thanks," Orabelle said. Who knew, maybe the occasion would call to wear one of them and she did nawt want to be stuck in a predicament with not being able to dress the way she should.

shrugging his shoulders I just keep bouncing back and forth between ...If it is someone that was close.Like a parent or a sister. Then you need to to somthing good with it and make your life fuller,,,But how do you say go Disneyland paris and have fun if it came at the cost of the outher person. looking at the bags,and thinking of how easy it was for his Aunts.to just give him that stuff to try and help him.help a friend.Did they do it for love of him or some guilt for his mom...{ pausing for a loooog second.} Do you think friends are a wise investment?

"It belongs to you?" How did that work? "What about the next match? If you have the ball, they can't use it." Not that he was complaining. There would be no quidditch. He didn't want to take the ball out, cos it might fly off, then Treyen would kill him for losing it.

She could wear what she wanted, and when most people looked like they were dying from heat stroke...well, she would be fine. But cold...that was another issue entirely. Samira hated the cold, which posed the question: Why is she out here anyways? Ah, well. She's talking to Helena.

"Antarctica was torture for me this summer. I think I had frostbite all over my body." That was an exaggeration, but Samira did feel like her limbs were going to fall of. The heating charms she cast had little effect.

That's one of the things he forgot to ask Conan a couple months back! "What made you try out, by the way?" he asked, tilting his head to his right, "Or sign up, in the first place?" because Treyen didn't know if Conan had attended try outs, unless he'd attended when Treyen didn't.

"I like Keeper better, for me, anyway," but the satisfaction of catching that little sneaky golden ball was always a plus.

Oh, no, no, he needed to explain, Treyen still smiled, because it was kind of nice for Conan to worry about the next game. At least he knew there were others. "No, they'll have a new one. You see, once you catch the Snitch, it's like the wall surrenders to your touch, which is why it can't be used again," he started to explain, "It has flesh memories," and how could he explain this the Muggle way? Easy, "I think it would be similar to how vaults or doors open with fingerprint scanners or something," Conan understood that, surely.

"Go on, you can take it out," maybe Treyen will show him how the flesh memories work.

Finally, Conan Taylor was reaching for the Snitch!

Treyen smiled once the golden ball was in sight. It even looked as if Conan should be a Seeker, because well, the Snitch and him were almost meant to be. Or he just looked cool with it. The latter was probably most likely.

Either way, he just nodded before explaining a little, "Well, a new Snitch will be flying across the air, at a very rapid speed, which makes it hard to see, even harder to catch," he said, as he moved his hand to take it from Conan's, "It flies thanks to these wings," at the moment he touched it, wings spread from it, and it looked kind of pathetic, truth be told, because the Snitch wasn't even trying to fly anymore, it was just acknowledging his presence.

The tired ball kept on fluttering its wings without getting any obvious result. It couldn't get away.

"A Snitch that has been caught, will react the same way as this one, as if it was tired," he said, eyes flickering between the Snitch and Conan.

Conan nodded. He understood. So the golden ball was a snitch. He would have to write this on his hand. If he had a biro, and not in gloves. He would head to the library after this. Definitely. He needed that book. He would be super smart at this Quidditch lark.

"So you can only use it once. Hmmm" Wasn't that expensive? These golden things must cost like $1000 a time. That was an expensive game or practice.

His mouth dropped as he watched the wings unfurl. That was amazing. He would have to get one to take it apart. It did look very mechnical. He wanted to know how it worked. He would have to catch one. Yes. He couldn't even say anything he was that shocked. He had never seen one up close.
