Hmph. Hadley...appreciate them? That didn't seem likely any time in the near future. "Yea, I suppose." she mumbled, slightly tapping her head against the column before turning to see where Riley was going. He was just going to leave!? Just like that!...

"Yea...I suppose." Food actually sounded really good since she missed breakfast. Sighing as she pushed away from the column, the Slytherin caught up to the Gryffindor, a little bit in a better mood finally. Hopefully the food wasn't gross and something like roast beef sandwiches or something today.

Nessie was taking a bit of a walk with her pygmy puff (Puffles). She was thinking of heading to the courtyard and sit down for a bit. She started thinking about the walks her and her best friend used to take. Nessie really missed her and would do nearly anything to see her again. She carried on walking remembering all the happy moments.

Ellie had wanted to spend one of the last warmer days outside. That was why she had been in the courtyard in the first place. But that proved to be beyond boring.

She was heading back to the castle, planning on stopping by the Great Hall or kitchens for a snack now. Something chocolate. But then she noticed a girl with a pygmy puff and flashed back to that encounter with that Lexi girl last term. "Watch your puff," Ellie advised, "They like to run away."

Just being helpful.

"Erm.. Thanks" said Nessie still not getting why everyone always said that pygmy puffs ran away. Just to be safe Ness picked up Puffles then turned back to the older girl. " I'm Renesmee by the way, but you can call me Ness or Nessie." She said smiling.

Nessie looked back at Puffles as he was starting to nible on her finger he probably wanted to go down, but Nessie didn't wan't him running away. So she tried to ignore him, but then he bit her real hard. "Ow!!... Puffles!!" said Nessie quickly putting him down then grabbing a tissue out of her bag to clean her hand. She kept an eye on him and so far he wasn't going anywhere to far. She turned back to the girl and smiled. "Erm.. Sorry about that he just bit my finger" said Nessie giggling.

Mhm. Ellie nodded and began to continue to the castle. But, apparently they were doing introductions. Okay. "Good to meet you Renesmee." Grin. "I'm Ellie." Just Ellie.

Oh! It bit her. "Are you alright?" There wasn't any blood, right? She was giggling, though, so it couldn't be that bad. "They should have leashes." Then you didn't have to hold them AND they didn't run away.

"Yeah I'm fine just a small wound" said Nessie smiling. "Yeah they should have leashes." Nessie turned her head back to Puffles but he wasn't there. She got worried immiediately, but to her surprise, she felt something by her foot. She looked down to see Puffles trying to get her attention. She picked him up again. "So What house are you in?" asked Ness.

"Good." Though Ellie could totally accompany the girl to Moretti if she had to. Then again, Moretti probably had worse to deal with. Broken bones, and dragon pox and the like. At least it wasn't Quidditch season yet.

She should bring the leash bit up to the workers at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes next time she was there.

"I'm in Ravenclaw. And yourself?" Nessie could be in Ravenclaw, too, for all Ellie knew. There were always more people than you could keep track of.

"Cool!! Im a first year Huffie" said Nessie smiling. Ness didn't think she deserved, she wasn't that friendly. Anyway Ness didn't bother as she knew it was meant to be. The girl seemed to look much taller than Ness and Ness wondered how old she could be, though thought It be rude to ask.

"A first year?" Ellie asked, though it was hardly a question. More like a confirmation. In fact, she didn't think she's met any other first years so far. "How're you liking Hogwarts, then?"

THAT was an actual question.

"Its AWSOME!!!!" said Nessie giggling. She really was having fun, especially that she had met many new people and friends. She also enjoyed the classes and the teachers, but best of all she loved that she had met Zara, Matt and Oakey!! " I love everything here!"

Grin.

Ellie liked this Nessie. She had that energy of awesomeness. "That's good to hear." At least she wasn't like Conan. "Any favorite classes so far? Or any you're looking forward to?"

Personally, Ellie would rather have no classes. But then, what was the point of coming if she wasn't going to learn? She could be home. With her daddy.

BUT maybe Nessie felt differently? Maybe she was someone who liked learning. Like everyone else Ellie knew.

"Erm.. Well I'm not really the type which loves learning, but I'ts kinda cool here!" said Nessie remembering how boring muggle school was. "Well I really like Shaw and Proffesor Hadley" Nessie smiled then carried on atlking. "I really enjoy potions though". Ness really did she felt like a natural at it. "How about you?"

Ohgood. That was a relief. Ellie already had too many bookworms in her life. But yes, it was cool here. "The food's amazing." Don't let her mom or grandma know that...but nothing beat Hogwarts food.

Shaw. Meh. She still wasn't sure how she felt about that man. It'll take a few more lessons to tell. Hopefully chainsaw-less lessons. "Hadley's nice. She started here same year I did." Fun fact.

Ellie didn't take potions, though. For multiple reasons. But if Nessie liked it, then...whatever flew her broomstick.

"I like flying...for the most part." Some of it was kind of annoying with those who didn't really know how to fly... "The Charms professor, you'll love him."

Ellie did, that was for sure.

The class wasn't too bad, either.

Toby wanted to take some fresh air, so he decided to walk to the courtyard.
He felt a bit alone, this first weeks at Hogwarts. But he didn't want to let anyone notice. His parents wrote him letters, and that felt quite good. He had made some friends, but most of the time he was alone. He didn't mind, yet. He enjoyed the silence.

"Yeah I love the food!" said Ness although she hadn't had much of an appetite since the holidays. She still had managed to eat quite a bit at the beggining of term feast but otherwise she never seemed to be hungry.

"Yeah I enjoy it too! Though I haven't had a proper lesson yet." Nessie thought she was quite good, though didn't know if she was good enough for quidditch. "So do you play quidditch?" asked Nessie smiling.

Everyone liked the food. It was official. Once again, nevermind Conan...he was just WEIRD. Outcast. Outlier. His opinion didn't count.

Ellie nodded. And BEAM.

Everything revolved around Quidditch. Another point proven. She was always having a conversation with SOMEONE about the sport, regardless of how many times they've spoken about it before. "That I do. Do you?"

"Yeah! Well I signed up I've never really played it properly though!" Nessie imagined herself at the tryouts she would proberly make a huge fool of herself. She had no idea why she signed up, but she did."So did you also sign up?" asked Nessie getting abit excited.

"Yessss, almost every day. People don't see me because I am quite short." He made a frustrated face as he said this. Jamie wasn't a major fan of being the height that he was, despite the occasional benefit. Such as, he could sneak into a room unnoticed, but he would still prefer to be tall. The third year grinned. "That's funny. I do see people fall over a lot here." Maybe witches and wizards forget to walk sometimes, because they are all so lazy when using magic 24/7 anyway. One day, there will be magical FEET.

"I'm fine, I'm fine." He said again, "It was only..." Looking down, the boy paused, "...concrete." But no, it didn't hurt enough for him to need a bandage, so everything was all gravy. "Okay, good." He said with a firm nod. Hurting girls was a bad thing. Very baaaaaaaad!

Slytherin, too? Did that mean that she was a Slytherin, too!?! "YEP. From the slimy snakes, me. And I take it you are, too?" Something told him that she would take offence to the 'slimy snakes' comment. But eh, it was his opinion. Generally, Slytherins weren't nice people to be around. Feenella seemed nice enough, though. "Third. But I am almost fourteen." That was a total lie. He turned thirteen about two months ago... "You?" She looked similar to his own age. That was always a plus.

The boy sighed. Being on his feet was tiring him out a bit. He wanted to sit on the floor.

People didnt see him because he was quite short?Seriously,he wasnt as short as that people wouldnt see him."People run into me even though i am not too short for a girl",the blonde said chuckling a little,"i am sure it isnt because of your height.Some people are just to blind to see."Or to occupied with other things.Cooough.Jamie didnt seem to be too satisfied with his but he seemed to be Fee's age what meant he would still grow,a lot."I dont know why so many people arent able to walk proberly here",the Slytherin laughed,"maybe its the Hogwarts curse or something like that." Sounded kinda logical.Well at least to her.

The girl let out an relieved breath as Jamie said he was fine.You could hurt yourself badly when falling over.Gladly he wasnt bleeding or something."But concrete can be verrryy hard",the girl chuckled,"maybe you are trained at falling,so you dont hurt you anymore?"Well,that would be cool.That way Fee would be immune to getting hurt while fallin too.But she actually didnt want to try it out.

The slimy snakes?Waiiit,he was a Slytherin and didnt think very highly of them?Something had to be wrong here."Dont you like the house you are in?",the third year asked raising an eyebrow,"yes i am a Slytherin too.But i like it.Did something happen that made you have a bad opinion on Slytherins?"Come on,there really had to be something.Ohh he was almost 14 too?That was pretty cool."I am a third year too",the blonde beamed,"but i am already turning 14 this month.When are you turning 14?"Fee was really excited about her birthday,14,that sounded sooooo old and mature to her it was crazy how fast she was growing up.

"Oh yeah? Good luck at tryouts, then," Ellie smiled. "Any particular position you're going out for?" Sometimes that was best; to narrow down on a position to tryout for. But sometimes it was better to keep options open. "I did." Of course she did. That was a silly question, really, but Nessie didn't know her yet.

"Yeah I think I'm doing either seeker or chaser." said Nessie "What did you try out for?" Ellie seemed like the quidditch type and had proberly been on the Ravenclaw team a few times. Nessie wished she would make it, but she wasn't sure.

Oooh. Seeker? "Seeker's a LOT of pressure," Not to mention Nessie would have BIG shoes to fill in that position...Actually, no. Ellie wouldn't mention it. "But it's super rewarding when you get those snitches." SUPER rewarding.

BEAM.

"Chaser's a lot of fun. You get the most action on the pitch that way, and you really get the feel of team work." Nod. So, in short, they're both excellent positions. Ellie approved. Heh.

"I put myself down for Beater," First and foremost. That was her favorite. "Chaser, Seeker, and Keeper." So...all of them, basically...definitely. "I played Beater my first term, then the rest of the positions I played last term." Yeah, thanks for that, Jacob.

Sincerely, though, she did thank him. She was more diverse now. And a better player for it.

"Oh, so you must be excellent" said Nessie wanting to be good at the sport. Nessie smiled as she stroked Puffles on the back. She looked at her watch and it seemed to be getting late. "Um.. I gotta its starting to get late and theres things I need to do!" said Nessie starting to leave.

Heh. Heheheh.

"I dunno...Well rounded, I'd say. I don't know about excellent, though." But if she wanted to call Ellie that...by all means Ellie was EXCELLENT.

Ahem.

Oh she had to go. "Okay. Nice meeting you, Nessie." Mhm.

Off to the Great Hall, then? Oh, yes.
