Cassie could see the bewilderment in Treyen's features and she was enjoying every minute of it. Who knew this messing around and prank stuff was so much fun..She shifted most of her wait to one leg as she looked at him, wondering how far she could actually push this prank to.

CassJai frowned as Treyen did the raised brow then and eyed him/her up. What did he mean no one called him Trey Trey? She did and she would probably forever call him that and so Cassie as Jai would call him that too. Treyen just had to deal with it." I do. I think it's a lovely nick name actually. It suits you Trey Trey." She gave him a little wink and giggled. Bleh, it was the weirdest sound she had ever emitted in her life. Mhm, she was just about ready for her voice back.

"No one has ever called you that? No I'm sure I have Treyen Lockhart." She said in a very Cassie tone that would have probably sounded just like her old self if it wasn't for Jai's pitch messing with it.

Once again CassJai was frowning at Treyen." But I have such a pretty face!" She ran Jai's large hands over his/her face then frowned even more." Err..well, I might need a shave right now, but it's very pretty otherwise."

The frown on the guy's face was oh-so-visible, and he seemed to want Treyen to take notice of it for he did nothing to conceal it. This was beyond oddness, really.

Chandler will have a laugh at this whole event.

Huh? The fifth year tilted his head to one side, "Suits me? I don't think so, Trey may suit me, but that name you're calling me doesn't," unless HE was actually the girly girl he'd come to know the past year. Yet Treyen knew how unlikely it would be for Cassie to be THIS boy in front of him. Unlikely, and completely impossible. There was only one way to do that, and he didn't think Cassie would agree to that. Plus, this was all Josh's doing, correct?

Blink.

Had he just winked at him? "I seriously think your name is much needed," and currently wanted.

At his next question, however, Treyen was having second thoughts about who calls him that. But no, he couldn't remember, "Not really, I think I'd remember," he said, with one nod. This was the weirdest day this school year. And Treyen watched as he seemed to be freaking out about his handsomeness or whatever. "Your point?" he said, eyes wide.

He was starting to get rude.

Leaning back, Thea smiled slightly. 'Yeah same here. I haven't really finished the project either..' Thea had done most of it though.. Hm.

Jory was walking on the Corridor to the Pathway when he felt the changes beginning. The first thing that went was Ari's hair. Then he began to grow taller. He quickly found a secluded spot on the corridor and he let the transformation complete. He was back to himself. It was fun being Ari.

Caroline paced up and the corridor to the courtyard serveral times already. A billion thinngs were running through her mind. It had nearly been a month since she had talked to him face to face and by that she meant this time she was herself and not polyjuiced as her best friend. Which was something else that she should probably explain to him.

She had ran to Owlery to send Carter an owl. After talking to Jai, and telling him about what was going on. and what she should do. Of course telling him was the right thing to do, maybe not the easiest thing but the right thing. After all She had been 'arranging' what she needed to tell him a few weeks before the break up. And now she had to explain to him that her best friend didn't kiss him it was her as Kita that kissed him. How confusing is that? If it hadn't been a final for potions she would've even bother with it. It had just made a bigger mess of things.

She still wasn't ready to see or talk to him yet. But she put those feelings aside for him. She wasn't ready for the feelings that she still had for bubble up more while he was near her. Because she knew they would. So she was going to make it short and sweet, tell him what he needed to know and go.

As much as she wanted him back she didn't know if she'd have the guts to tell him that now or ever. But if that topic did come then she would just deal with it as it went. She seriously doubted that anything would make up for hurting like she did. Still pacing the corridor, she looked down to see if she had wore a place out in the floor. She then turned her eyes up the corridor he should be coming from that direction.Taking a deep breath. just keep calm and everything will be fine.

Carter clutched the owl from Caroline in his hand. He had half a mind to tear it up when he received it. But for some reason he couldn't do it. So instead of tearing up the letter he read it. And instead of tearing up the letter after that he found himself in the corridor to the courtyard.

He watched her pace up and down the corridor. Why had he decided to come? This was, by far, one of the dumbest things he'd ever done -- and he'd done a lot of dumb things... especially when it came to Malfoy girls.

He took a deep breath and clutched the letter tighter in his hands. He was already here. He might as well see what she had to say...

"Hey..." he said as he approached her. That was an appropriate you-broke-my-heart-and-for-some-crazy-reason-I-still-came greeting, wasn't it?

Jordan smiling, "So are you looking forward to Summer?" Jordan certainly was. He was looking forward to seeing and spending time with his only family, his Uncle Chris. He could see it now, waking up at noon, playing Quidditch, swimming in his own pool.

Legend rolling his eyes only made Katie want to stick her tongue out in a childish yet playful manner, and for a moment she did resist the urge, right before poking her tongue out despite 'better judgement'. So what, she was eighteen? What did that matter? This was Legend, after all. Dark eyes blinked at him, wondering why in the world he'd suggest that one. "Lissy's not even trying to be queen, why would she have a jester? Gabe is like.. her sidekick, and Lydia's her conscious." Never mind the fact she could get Johnny and/or Eddie to be her new jesters, Katie wasn't even thinking about that. "She's eight. We were just there for their birthday party."

Did he think she didn't like it? Katie's smile faded a bit at his look, returning as she continued to trace the outter shape, her finger following where he pointed out the bear's inperfections. He had made it for her. "That doesn't matter," running her finger over the rougher texture of the chip, Katie shook her head and looked up from the bear once more. "There's nothing wrong with it. I love it, I really do. It's beautiful." Finding the little box she'd set down, Katie carefully set her fragile little bear back in and replaced the lid before leaning over to hug Legend. "Thank you."

After releasing him and sitting back again, her gaze found the little box between her hands before slowly slipping off the edge that she perched on and using the sleeve of her robes to wipe her tear-stained cheeks again. "I should get going, I think.." Before things got any worse or complicated or exhausting, if that were possible. "I'll see you later.. or something," Giving the slightest uncertain shrug of her shoulders, the Hufflepuff turned on her heels and headed back toward the castle doors.

Once again Cassie resisted the urge to giggle. A giggling boy would most certainly give her away and Treyen was smart, she was sure red flags were already going up in his head but in the mean time....

*POUTS*

JaiCass shook his/her head. Well of course it suited him, she gave him that nickname sorta...maybe not, others might have already been calling him that, but she had coined a new one and he ought to accept it, whether she was in boy body or not. It was only polite after all." No, I think Trey Trey suits you just as well." She added in matter of fact tone of voice.

Jaicass rolled her eyes and folded her arms once again across her broad flat chest. The boy was relentless." My name is Jai." There, he didn't need to know any more than that did he?

"Well judging by the fact that you don't remember now, I'd say you wouldn't remember because you don't remember now." That made sense right? She hope it did otherwise she would have just confused the poor boy even more, which all in all might not be such a bad thing since he seemed to be catching on to her.JaiCass eyes widened a bit. Oooh snappy Treyen? She had never seen this side of him before." My point in you should appreciate beauty in all forms." Because she was beautiful as herself or as Jai.

Caroline totally lost every bit of nerve she had left once she seen him make his way down the corridor. This was truely very out of character to do this well this early after a break up. Her heart started beating faster. As he approached her and stopped and gave a very less that excited 'hey'. Well this wasn't quite the greeting she expected, or the greeting that she was hoping to get, it was better than the one she thought she'd get. At least he came.

"Hey." She said. After a minute of just staring at him arkwardly Before speaking again. "My dad." She started out..... She hated having to explaine which dad she was talking about to the people who knew the story. "The healer....dad was friends with the captain and the healer of the Sumbawanga Sunrays. A few months ago I started talking to him....... about you." Yep. As if things wasn't already awkward between them already this was only adding to the awkwardness. She twisted her lips. "And he wants to meet with you."Yeah, she would totally add that she'd be there almost all summer later.

Sigh.

If the boy kept on pouting...

...ACTUALLY, if the boy kept on pouting Treyen wasn't going to do anything about that. He was the one looking completely weird by doing so, especially in the presence of a Lockhart. The Lockhart boys didn't respond to that. He couldn't say the same for his sister, though.

"Mmhmm," he still didn't think so, but made no further commenting on the Trey-Trey situation. It was just as ridiculous as Won-Won, he couldn't recall where he'd read that, though.

Jai from Gryffindor? Got it. "Good to meet you," not 'nice' or 'a pleasure', but GOOD. Good to finally know his name.

But then...whatever he said made absolutely no sense at all! AT ALL. That's why Treyen was slightly frowning and tilting his head to the side, "Right," no, not really, he didn't agree. "I don't understand what you just said, but...alright," he wasn't going to argue about it, not when he was clearly playing a joke on him.

His eyebrows shot up again when he spoke.

So far, his idea of beauty involved many things, intangible things mostly, but... "Not if it involves boys," he said, after raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms.

Thea grimaced. 'Sort of?..' She didn't really know.. 'I suppose. It'll be nice to see evryone.' Yes, her Mother often had very large family gatherings at random times..
'You are I'm guessing?' Thea grinned at the look on his face when he had asked her.

"Well, sort of." Jordan grinned and smiled. Seeing everyone was seeing his Uncle. "My Uncle and I, do a lot of things together during the summer. More like vacations, than it is anything." Jordan explained. "How bout your parents? They like to do anything special over the holidays?

Thea blinked. 'It's my mam really. My dad's always away working..' She grimaced. Thank the lord..
'Mam always throws big random family gatherings at random times when she feels like it..' Thea grinned. 'Sounds like you have a ncie time with your Uncle!' She nodded at her fellow first year.

"So basically, your mam likes random family parties?" As Jordan thought, he hadn't been invited to hardly any parties of his muggles friends. Maybe that he could look forward to? He would rather be with his magical friends if he could.

It took all Carter's self control to keep from flinging his arms around Caroline. A Gryffindor was supposed to be brave, and not display such weakness. But he did feel weak. The sooner he got out of there the better.

o___O She talked to her dad... and his friend... about him?

That is a bit... awkward.

He blinked a few times letting the words sink in. She was telling him to go to Africa? Okay. So she wasn't exactly using that connotation...

"I'm sorry... WHAT!?!" He finally managed to say.

What was she going to have to repeat this again? She thought that this would be a quick thing. Just get it out of the way. But no it wasn't going to quick or easy this would last for a while. And it wasn't help that he had to be standing there looking so gosh darn cute. Why was she doing this again?

And why was just standing there blinking at her? She closed her eyes and opened them. then with smallest sigh. She opened her mouth, nothing came out. She shook her head. Was it too late to run away?

"I... I just thought.... oh just forget it." She said a bit angrily and started to storm off. The last thing she wanted to do to get upsit and start crying. She took a few steps toward him and stopped. It had took everything she had to talk to him, and probably the same for him she just couldn't leave now.

Standing almost right in front of him. She stood closer to him than she ever that she would ever be again."YOU deserve this chance." Hoping that maybe he actually did understand want she had said a bit ago. She took a step back. Afaid of what she may do standing that close. She couldn't even look him in the eye without feeling regret or guilt, and a hundred other thinngs. She stuck around to see if he still needed farther explaintion and she still needed to tell him about that other thing too.

Carter ran a hand through his hair as Caroline started to storm off. He obviously hadn't handled that as well as he would have hoped. Then again... he didn't really have high hopes for the conversation to end well...

But then she surprised him. She stopped right in front of him. He took a step back after she did... just to double the space between them. He tilted his head to the side and looked her up and down. He could walk away now. He probably should walk away.

But he didn't. She must have been having some kind of internal battle with telling him... and he wasn't going to disregard that it must be hard for her to be standing there. At least... he thought it was hard for her based on how hard it was for him to be there.

"I'm sorry." he said shaking his head. "I... just couldn't..."

He absentmindedly kicked a pebble at his feet. He wasn't sure how exactly to word exactly the decision he'd reached recently. Maybe he'd just tell her he needed a break... from her, from Marie, from Marilyn... and just from magic in general? But he still had a twinge of pride that wouldn't allow him to admit that.

Finally he sighed and just repeated. "I just couldn't."

Caroline finally looked up at him in the eyes. She blinked a few times. With a small nod. "I... I.. understand. I thought that I'd at least tell you about it.But you really should let the way things ended with us get in the way of what you want." She shiffled a bit but that was all. But there was some thing else wrong she could tell. She dared not to ask but in the the end she opened her mouth.

"A-are you okay?" She tried to say it in a other-than-we're-not-together-anymore- are you okay tone. Yeah now this was going to be a long drawn out thing now. She could decide if she wanted it to last forever the two of them standing there or if she just wanted it all to end now before this worst. She knew that this was a bad idea.

Carter had half a brain to say, 'That's kind of hard considering what I wanted and how things ended are completely related. But he held his tongue. "Err... thanks." he said in as bright a tone as he could manage. "That it then?"

Greaaaat. Now she was asking if he was alright. He wasn't about to tell her. In fact. The only people he was planning on telling the whole story to were Josh and Mina. "Me? I'm great." he lied.

He then turned to walk away. After a few steps he turned back to face her. "Just. I won't be around this summer. So don't be disappointed if you don't hear from me." Not that he was planning on writing. But you know, in case she had the urge to. He wanted her to at least know that she wouldn't get a response out of rudeness.

Caroline looked back down at the floor again. She had no idea why she was going to say the next thing she said "That's a lie.And we both know it. Because either one of us is fine with this." Her head snapped up, tearing her glaze away from the ground and now to him. It was one of those moments that a kid would have covered there mouth with their hands because they said something that they shouldn't. She would've done that but she couldn't move. It even surprised her that those words came from her mouth. That was the most honest she'd been with anyone about her feelings over whole break up. And she was really messing things up.

And there he was walking away.Or not 'won't be around this summer?' What on earth was that suppose to mean? She lost that right to know what was going on with him that day in the trophy room and obviously he didn't want her to know. But she was curious and a bit confused as to why he even said anything about it. "Yeah, Okay." She frowned. What was her reaction suppose to be over that?

Now it was her turn to start walking away. Stopping again "Carter! Wait a second." As she turned around. Seriously as far she knew he was half way down the corridor."You should know something else. The other day at the whomping williow that wasn't Kita that kissed you it was me. And I meant what I said." Well at least she cleared that up. She then prepared herself for his worst possible reaction to this. Whatever it was going to be. Now there was no way this would end well at all.

Right CassieJai could tell that Treyen was still not really not completely sold on Jai just being a really strange boy. The look on his face was syaing that he was suspicious. It was a testament to how smart the hufflepuff prefect was...that or Treyen Lockhart was just incredibly paranoid.

She reached up and twirled some more of Jai's short hair around her finger. What she wouldn't give to have her long dark hair to play in right now. Hmph.

"I know you're only just trying to get me to leave it alone by mumbling this mhm thing. I know how guys are." She flipped her hair..oh yeah no hair...she flipped her head, which really didn't have the desired effect since there was no hair but oh well." But at least you are not arguing with me."


CassieJai nodded and smiled at Treyen. Such a pleasant boy, Cassie knew she liked him for a reason.

She frowned. He was looking at her like she was crazy. She was not crazy, what she was saying made perfect sense if you were willing to look/listen past how repetitive it sounded. It made sense."You're looking at me all funny and weird like. I don't like it, stop." She pouted." I'm making perfect sense, you're just not thinking deep enough. Think deeper."

What? Was Treyen mad? Boys were very beautiful. She had even gone as far as to make up a scale for how uber sexy and beautiful boys are. It was a scale she called the Internation scale of really hot guys (ISORHG). She had even put Chandler on it." I think boys are very beautiful actually."

OH.

That's right. He was a boy, he knew how boys worked, right? And he usually tended to agree to disagree on his mind, before starting any arguments. Wait, no, he usually kept the argument going. It wasn't until recently that he discovered the amazing 'agree to disagree' clause. That was pretty awesome. He just hadn't tested it on many people yet.

"Right." So, Jai knew that Treyen didn't want to discuss the matter anymore, but now the boy was discussing the not-wanting to discuss it? How utterly confusing this was.

Were boys truly as confusing as girls said they were?

...Lafay came to mind again, with her Polyjuice Potion assignment.

HE SHOULD THINK DEEPER TOO! "Clearly, I'm not following your train of thought, so, yeah, don't understand." There was a tone of utter annoyance in his voice. He couldn't help it.

Treyen blinked, for Jai's word caught him off guard. "Er," he cleared his throat, "That's...yeah, I'm not into that," he decided on saying. And then couldn't help but ask, "Did Josh put you up to this?"

Cassie clucked her tongue impatiently, well actually she clicked Jai's tongue, thinking about it too much was confusing. She dropped her hands to her sides and walked around Treyen a bit...eyeing him up. Man wouldn't that be uncomfortable if she were in his shoe.

She didn't care Treyen was purposely being stubborn.

"I know you know, what I'm talking about, you're just being difficult with me." Yeah she was so on to him, hmph.

"And I can tell you're getting annoyed. I thought hufflepuffs were supposed to be tempered and sweet and beautiful and all that stuff. You are not showing that sweet puff temper at the moment." She wagged Jai's finger at him.

Cassie stepped back in shock and disbelief. Blasphemy!!! How could he not be..what?? No no no Treyen needed to be aware of how strong and protective and handsome boys were, especially Hogwarts boy..rawr."I must say that you are most certainly missing out." She stated.

Treyen's question caused Cassie to freeze for a second. She wondered if Jai even knew Josh. Should she pretend he/she knew Josh but he didn't put her/him up to it or should she say she didn't know him? Blah, the mess.

"I....erm..I'm sorry i don't follow..Josh put me up to what?"

Isa walked down the corridor. Ronnie's red hair pulled back into a pony tail. Her stomach was growling. Or should we say Ronnies stomach. Isa was excited to sit at Gryffindor table. It was going to be funny. She just hoped nobody talked to her or asked questions she didn't know about Ronnie. Isa picked up the pace, but Ronnie's legs weren't as long as her real legs.
