She took a deep breath and steadied Nika with a look. Hopefully this would make Nika snap out of it instead of getting even more angry. That's what her mother always did to Samira when she was having a temper tantrum. It was true though, if Nika wanted to come and sit by her, then fine and dandy, but she needed to pull herself together. Samira didn't even know why she was being yelled at!
What what? Emily, as in the Emily that left Samira to deal with Nika's waterworks Emily that--as far as she knew---didn't even write? "Emily's back?" She furrowed her eyebrows. "Since when?!" Oh no. This wouldn't do. Samira was Nika's best friend, and she intended to keep it that way.
Nika was a bit taken aback and her lip quivered a bit as she heard Samira yell out her. "I-I'm sorry," she replied softly. The redness started disappearing from her face as she looked at Samira. "I just don't know what to do anymore." Her best friend had told her she was leaving, gotten into a fight with her, and then tried to start a conversation that ended up making fun of her, all in one term. It was just messing Nika up and normally she was this ever-so-cheerful Gryffindor, but she had turned to a sobbing little girl and an angry lion over this situation and she couldn't help it. Her emotions were being played with. "I'm just really angry." She muttered as she hid her head sheepishly. Maybe she should've skipped out on the feast. It was a bad idea to come.
Then when Samira spoke again she didn't really make much sense. "Well you see she never left yet. She is leaving when the term is over and now it is. She won't come back." And she had the nerve to rub it in? Nika was upset enough already without being teased about it. If only this whole term had only been a dream. If only all of Hogwarts had been a dream and she was back at home with her sister as her only friend. Things would have been so much easier.

On the bright side of going home Kita her best friend was moving in with her and her sister Starr. Who just had her twins earlier that day. Her mother had send her an owl telling her that she had had the twins that morning.....also a better reason to be going home. Caroline was an aunt, Aunt Caroline. She thought it had a nice ring to it.
The blonde made her way over to the Slytherin house house table. What a great term it had been for them. They won the Quidditch Championship, the Gobstone championships, and the house cup. She found a empty seat near the other end of the great hall and flopped down into the seat. Okay she was hungry very hungry, that was the biggest reasons why she came up here was to eat.
She had tried to just make a stop by the kitchens to see if she could grab something and take it to her dorm to eat there. But the house elves looked so busy runinng around for the feast that she was a bit scared to ask for anything or to get in their way by trying to make herself something. So she just decided to come in up here and eat and celebrate Slytherins take over sweep taking all three wins.
The blonde Malfoy made her way up from the grounds and into the Great Hall dressed in her Slytherin robes. The Malfoy had been dreading this day, the end of the term for this year. It had been such a great term. Slytherin had won the Quidditch AND Gobstone cup AND the House Cup. Yeah Snakes!! Fourth year- the best year so far. Yet, part of her couldnt wait for the next term. The Crazytastic Besties AND partners-in-crime would be back in business.
As she walked closer to her own table, she glanced quickly at the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw tables. The blonde spotted her boyfriend and Ruby at the Gryffindor table. But no sign of the famed Alfredore couple yet. Ah, Emma would have to go over there soon. As her brown eyes scanned t
he table for a familiar face, she spotted Caroline. "Caroline!" she exclaimed and taking a spare seat next to her. "Can you believe the term's already over?" asked Emma, her voice full of excitement and sadness at the same time. She'd miss a ton of people this term and next term... Oh Merlin. Brae, Theo, Ruby, AND Caroline would be graduating. And Sel's Tall Person wouldn't be there. Note to self: get a piggyback ride from Seb.
Fallon then turned her attention to the male prefect."Hey there Evan." She watched as he took a seat near them. Her grin widened. The thoughts of their last conversation still running through her mind...
Evan smiled at Fallon, happy to have the chance to bid her a farewell too. Pushing away all the thoughts containing 'last, last, LAST!', he scooted over towards her. Although his face darkened for a moment as he remembered how cruel she had spoken there towards him-in-Marie's-shoes, he pushed those away too. This wasn't the time to discuss such deep matters. Instead...
Getting up to hug her, he asked "How are you?" Yup, today was all joy and bidding farewells. No sad thought today.

Aiden who still insists that she'd rather stay at Hogwarts than going home grabs a cauldron cake. Slowly she bites it before noticing the sixth year Slytherin sitting next to her. Come to think of it, Aiden has never talked to her before. This might be a good chance on making a new friend.
Moving her hand to hold the glass of orange juice, Aiden raises her glass close to Caroline, as if she's offering a toast. "To our triple victory," smiles Aiden faintly.
Caroline heard a voice from beside. A younger snake was offering her a toast to Slytherins triple victory. She grabbed her goblet and with a smile she said "Too many more!" As she clicked goblets with her. Caroline had seen her in the common room, she thought that the girl was a first year. She smiled again
"Hi I'm Caroline!" She offered her hand to the young snake. Hehe even if she was going to be a seventh year it didn't hurt knowing a few of the younger studies.... to help them out with something or something like that. Right?

Caroline spotted Evan, who was one of the few seventh years that she would miss. She waved over to him "Hey Evan!" He was definitely one of the only Perfects that she liked. It was sad that she hardly talked to him this term. And then he wouldn't ever be here. Gosh that got her thinking about next term being her own last term. She was not ready to become the next term of seventh years.

Whole summer....? Kind of... Aaron had to head down to the Cannon's early.... For so much garbage. But, sure. Aaron smiled at Fallon. "Yeah..." Then a thought came into his head. They were graduating, they had the whole world ahead of them. "You know what? We should all go on a trip..."

"I can't believe this year is over... But I'll be THIRTEEN SOON!" she grinned. "But then I'll have to explain to all the new first years why the school can never be as awesome as it was this year because all the good people have left." she sighed and fidgeted in her seat. Then she stood up, she'd been sitting on the end of her cape, she flicked it out behind her and sat down as it sank, rather dramatically, to the ground behind her.
Aaron laughed. Yeah, it was rude. But Aaron wanted to be near his future- err... he wanted to be near his girlfriend. And if it meant kicking a little girl out of her seat then so be it.
13? "Dang, girl. YOU'RE OLD!" She would be going through that time, soon. Falling in love and all that. Which reminded Aaron. "Hey, next year, my cousin will be here at Hogwarts... He's going to be a third year.... But you may like him." Aaron sure didn't. He was a crazy lunatic... How Aunt Sally raised such a crazy child, Aaron would have no idea.

It was nice to see that they were obviously ready to step into the big, bad, grown up world.
The blonde was dragged out of her thoughts when Aaron pushed Aurora out of the way to sit down. Looking at Aaron as he sat down, Iris smiled at him. Teehee.
Yeah.... It might have been rude, but seeing as though Iris's hand quickly found Aaron's under the table, Iris obviously didn't care...
She looked away from Aaron when Evan came over to them. "Hey, Cartwright." she said, grinning. Their conversation in the Prefects' Bathroom the night before had been fun... Lots o' reminiscing and talking about the future...
"Exactly! We have all summer." Iris nodded in agreement to Fallon's comment. "... and for the rest of forever." Just because Fallon was going to New York, and just because Aaron was going to be playing Professional Quidditch didn't mean that everything had to change. Well, that's how Iris was hoping it would be, anyway.
Aaron??? IN A SUPERHERO COSTUME???? He was half tempted to summon the whole costume.... But instead, he summoned a black piece of cloth, cut some eye holes out, and tied it around his face. "PERFECT!!!" he said with a laugh. But as soon as he got it on, and took a look at everybody, he took it back off and stuffed it in his pocket. "I don't want to look THAT ridiculous."
Oh! And suddenly he was holding hands with Iris... But it would be too long........ before....

Evan had come and joined them. It had been years since they were "enemies," so he smiled at him. "Hey, Evan." They were almost done with Hogwarts... And Evan Cartwright was a big part of it.

Her eyes widened and she had to struggle to surpress an excited squeal. She looked from Aaron to Iris, her heart leaping a little. Samira reached out a hand and lifted Nika's chin with her index finger. "If you're going to get upset, at least let me know so I'm on the same page," she joked, hoping to lighten the mood. Please don't start crying, Nika...She didn't want to leave Hogwarts with all these negative memories.
Samira blinked. "She didn't?" Oh. Well this is confusing. Samira shook her head, as if to clear it. As an afterthought she added, "please"

Something to tell her? Iris suddenly felt a bit numb, with an odd butterfly-like feeling in her stomach. Raising her eyebrows slightly, Iris tried to find her voice. "O-oh?" There was only two things that it could possibly be: something really, really bad; or something unbelievably brilliant... Why else would Aaron've needed to stand up for everyone to be able to see him? Iris really couldn't tell which it would be, she just really hoped it wasn't the first one.

Well, that was it. Everyone was watching... Aaron was the center of attention. Granted, he loved being the center of attention (why else would he be center chaser and captain of the quidditch tem?) but not this time. This was the most nervous he had been..... EVER. He looked at Iris, sitting there, watching him. He took both of her hands, feeling her warmth, and trying to send all he wanted to say to her..... But it wasn't working.
"Iris..." the boy began. "You have been my best friend my entire life."Off to a good start..."We met back in Diagon Alley 8 years ago, before our first summer at Hogwarts, and my life has been different ever since. You were always the woman I loved, and I couldn't imagine my life without you." Aaron's heart was pumping a thousand times a minute as all his words poured out of his mouth. Oh god, he had to continue, didn't he?
He took a step closer. "I love you more than words can describe... And I know we will always be together." And suddenly time stopped for Aaron. He recalled all the times in his life where he was his happiest. And they always were with Iris. From being introduced to Quidditch, to the pumpkin patch, making sandcastles, and the Yule Ball.
And then Aaron imagined their future. Living together... Having a family... Watching their kids go off to Hogwarts, to experience all the same experiences Aaron and Iris had, yet, with their own feelings and interpretations. It would be fantastic.
As time continued, Aaron went down on one knee. The dreaded 'One Knee.' GO FOR IT BUCKO! Aaron could only imagine what Iris was thinking. But Aaron only knew that it felt like millions of eyes were watching him, like their story was coming to an epic climax built upon since the beginning. And as Aaron reached into his pocket for a ring his FANTASTIC mom bought him. That was it. No turning back. Here it goes.
"Iris Beaumont. I want to spend the rest of my life with you... Will you marry me?"
Emma nodded, smiling at Caroline. "Way too fast. But it was a pretty good term," said Emma, nudging Caroline. Caroline frowned and shook her head slighly. She guessed for the most part it had been a pretty good term, but mostly the first half was the best part of term for her. Along with now tonight being the last night of term. But yeah this term was good, putting certain things that had happened during it aside.
Now that sounded like something that would make it worth her while to come back next term. She laughed "Yes, that sounds like a blast." Now she really couldn't wait for next term minus the fact that it would be her last, hopefully best. "Yeah, I guess I'm ready as I ever will be." She shruged. "Ready for your OWL year?" She asked she didn't blame anyone for not being ready for those though, she wasn't ready her fifth year and she wasn't ready this term either when she finally got to take them. Then next term she had her NEWTs which she should probaly start studying for starting the begining of next term.

Hecate walked over to the great hall just in time to hear the captain's proposal...
Dear Merlin...
She glared at him her knowing glare. "Ahem.... Not to interrupt your love fest Captain, but we do have a feast to conduct here. Please keep your personal questions to more private areas..." or just away from my presence.
"As you can tell by the green and silver decor, I am coming to congratulate you lot on a term well done." She said not cracking a smile.

But then Jimbo heard something in his tone of voice that suggested whatever The Boyfriend was about to say might not be something that Jimbo would want to overhear. Maybe they were breaking up. It sounded serious enough, after all. But then again, that's probably just his mind running away with him as usual.
Okay. So he would join the group. He sat down, giving Monty a preoccupied nod of acknowledgment and staring at The Boyfriend. Oh yes, Mr. Anderson. Whatever you need to say to Monty, Jimbo will be witness.
Iris took a glance away from Aaron when she saw someone she'd not seen in ages make his way closer to them. She smiled at him slightly, acknowledging that she'd seen him.
He'd been hiding from her again... hadn't he? Just like he had for most of the year...

Will you marry me?"
... but now wasn't the time to worry about Jimbo the fact that he'd been hiding from her. Iris turned her full attention to the boy the man that was stood in front of her when he took her hands. She smiled softly as she looked up at him, knowing there and then that what ever it was Aaron was going to say next, was going to be something positive.
Iris listened to Aaron as he begun to talk; fully aware of all the students that were watching and of the butterflies that were very apparent in her stomach.
8 years... The butterflies were still as strong as they were the day she realised that she liked him.
The blonde didn't interrupt him. She just looked into his eyes and listened; scared that if she did interrupt him, then he'd lose whatever was keeping him talking and wouldn't be able to continue. Her heart was beating quickly, and her eyes might've started watering at some point. Aaron had told her that he loved her a million times before... but this was different, completely. There was a thought, that was slowly fighting its way to the front of Iris' mind... A thought that she didn't want to believe in case she was wrong.
And then Aaron bent down onto one knee.
...
o__o
...
He isn't ... is he? Oh... oh my god. He... he is... "Oh my gosh...."
Iris stared at the man, eyes wide with a thousand different emotions and thoughts that she couldn't describe or explain. When Aaron let go of one of her hands and dug into his pocket, Iris felt like crying. She knew exactly what was inside his pocket, and that was what mattered right now.
"Aaron..." she started, staring from him to the ring and back again. Then she broke out into a huge smile, and there were definitely tears (of happiness, obviously) falling down her cheeks. "I love you so much. Yes, absolutely... yes!" She used her free hand to wipe away the water from her face, then just smiled at Aaron. Her mind was in too much shock to react more physically... She didn't really know what to say or do, so she leant forwards and kissed her boyfriend... fiancé on the cheek; near his lips but not quite... Just like the very first time.

At least it was nearly summer, and he was well pleased. So many odd things had happened this term, and not all of them were explained just yet. Plus, he'd had to go to the Ministry for help again, which was just annoying.
He glared generally at each table, hoping they'd take the hint not to get a bright idea and be disruptive.
Iris looked away from Aaron, with some difficulty, when the Great Hall doors opened. Tate had arrived; the feast was going to start soon. Iris smiled when she'd noticed that the decorations in the Hall had turned green and silver. There couldn't have been a better moment for that to happen, really.
As Tate made his way to his seat, Iris couldn't help but wish that the Headmaster would've waited another ten minutes before showing up... Because now he was glaring around the hall, waiting for everyone to be quiet. She couldn't be happy and cheerful outwardly until he'd started - and finished - his speech.
The Head Girl didn't watch the Headmaster for much more than a couple of seconds. Looking back to Aaron, she smiled at him; looking like she'd never been happier in her life. Which... in many ways was true. The most current "happiest moment of her life" always had something to do with Aaron...

And then one worse happened. Lafay showed up. Iris stared at their Head of House, blushing more than she'd ever done before. Not saying anything to the woman, Iris simply offered a VERY shy smile...

Nope, not cool.
"Yep, I got to move on I suppose." he said leaning back against the table, legs spread out the opposite side of the bench, rather than facing the table. "But I'll be around Diagon Alley and you can always owl me." Because of couse she was going to miss him dreadfully.
Gross. Gross was a good adjective for what all of this was.
Disgusting was also a very nice word to describe it all. "Yea..." she mused. "Maybe they should all walk with mirrors in front of them so they could see." Evelyn would personally hold a mirror up for them so they could know what they look like. Who would want to be like that in public?
"You can bet on an owl or two." Crossing her arms on the table top, she nodded slowly, smirking. "Quite frankly, I'm jealous that you're leaving." Really really. "No more school, homework, exams, professors, rules..."

But THAT happened.
She saw their quidditch captain stand up, and she wasn't that far away where she couldn't hear what he was saying to Iris, but then, the whole going down on one knee move...believe it or not, it made her grimace. Especially the 'M' word. Marry. Bleh.

Speaking of Lafay, their Head of House's words caused her to actually notice that the great hall was all green and silver finally. Whaa? When did THAT happen?

o.O
Wait what? Riley was expecting a different reaction other than what Evelyn had mentioned. "You know what, I never really thought of it that way before. Thanks!" It sounded much better when she said it like that. He didn't like rules, so maybe after-Hogwarts life would be nice. "Well I look forward to your owls for sure. And we should maybe try to hang out in Diagon Alley or something during your break after last term."
Then a...marriage proposal was going down? Eww...Riley's eyebrows shot up towards his hair and his lip raised in a grimace. Yeah that was just strange.
And then Lafay showed up, ooh would they get in trouble?! He sat up a little straighter to see what would happen and then she just congradulated the snakes on the house cup win. 'Oh.' That sucked.

Please don't start crying, Nika...She didn't want to leave Hogwarts with all these negative memories.
Samira blinked. "She didn't?" Oh. Well this is confusing. Samira shook her head, as if to clear it. A part of Samira-or all of Samira-knew that Nika didn't mean it when she said she didn't want to come back. She was probably just over reacting. "Tell me what happened." As an afterthought she added, "please"
Nika nodded and started absentmindedly dipping her fork into the mashed potatoes on her plate. She was starting to regret saying that she hated Emily because she really didn't, but at the time she was really angry. She didn't plan on talking to Emily for a long time because she had really been hurt with everything this term. Nika glanced over at the Gryffindor table and could see Cove sitting there talking to Emily. Whatever they were talking about Nika had a feeling that she was the main topic. Note to self, People to avoid on train: Cove and Emily. She crossed two fingers under the table in hope that there wouldn't have to be any more additions to her list. She really felt awful for even planning this out, but there was no way that Cove was going to guilt her into friendship.
"But she's going to." Nika added silently. She looked up at Samira as little tears started to form in her own eyes. Taking a few deep breaths she managed to hold them back for the time being. "Well, erm. You see... We had this big fight at the beginning of the term after she told me she was leaving. I avoided her and then she came looking for me and there was some yelling involved." That had been an awful day and Samira knew that because she got stuck with the waterworks.
"I sorta ran away from her like I did in the common room because I just didn't want to talk to her because I was going to break down into tears. So I went up to the dormitories and sorta ripped out all of my songs that I wrote up." She got the full blast of regret after doing it too because she actually did like her songs. "She was hiding in the library all term trying to avoid me as I tried to avoid her. We saw each other for the first time in such a long time at the table and I still wasn't really ready to talk." That had been stupid on her part.
"I tried keeping the conversation short because we hadn't really officially 'made up' after our fight and all." Then comes the worst part. "Then she started talking about how great france was going to be because she found this great library and it sounded as if she wasn't going to miss me at all. She knows how upset I was but she still rubbed it in my face." Nika looked down at her plate and then up again. "Then I got mad." Nika started blushing as she played with the mashed potatoes. "Then she tried to push me even further by saying that she wasn't going to get my hopes up and that's when it went to far. I walked away,"Stormed away...,"Told her I was glad she was leaving and came here."
So she had sort of looked like a villain in this fight too. "We were both stupid, but I've been through so much and it just hurts so bad! I can't make up with her after that. I'm not ready." She looked at Samira in hope that her snake friend wouldn't make her go back and apologize. She really just wanted to be able to sit and be carefree again. She thought it was hard in first year saying bye to Rex and Halle well this was ten times worse than that.

Emma nodded, smiling at Caroline. "Way too fast. But it was a pretty good term," said Emma, nudging Caroline. The blonde's smile grew larger as she said that she was looking forward to see Selena too. Yes her bestie! Emma beamed. "I can't wait either! It's going to be a blast. You, her, and me staying up and studying late. And Fee too," cried Emma.
Stealing a quick steal down at the rest of the table, Emma tried to see if Alex was here. Nope. He kinda had disappeared this term. The blonde let out a sigh and then asked Caroline, "Are you ready to be a seventh year next term? That's going to be wicked!" chirped Emma, feeling excited for her friend.
" Hi Emma" Willaim smiled."Hope we can talk more next term" William said to Emma. " Rex satys hello" Willaim told Emma. " By the way, if you ever see Sierra or Fee, tell them Hi and would love to talk to them, too" William explained to Emma.

Now that sounded like something that would make it worth her while to come
back next term.
The blonde gave her blonde companion a grateful Malfoy smile. "Yeah! I'm ready for next year but dreading my OWLS... I'll be studying late... Every single night.." she cried, before laughing. "I'll be turning into a Ravenclaw! But we should definitely do some fun stuff. Pull pranks... Cake fights.." began Emma. Merlin's Beard- Caroline had her NEWTS.. That would be hard. Emma sighed. "I don't want next term to end though because you and so many others will leave," pouted Emma. "But we have a long time before that day." Yeah, they had a long time. Time to eat candy and other stuff. "So what are you doing this summer?"
Emma's attention was quickly diverted as the Quidditch Captain proposed to Iris. Awww, that was to adorable! But.. Right in the middle of everything? The blonde smiled and turned around to see William. "Hey William! How are you? Me too. We need to hang out more. You're a really cool guy. Aww he does!? Well tell him I say hi too. Getting up, she walked down to the bit of the table where Sierra was sat on her own. "Hullo." she said, not sitting down next to her. She was hoping to convince her to come and sit with her, Fallon, Evan and Aurora. "I never got the chance to tell you this after any of the matches, but you were fantastic on the Quidditch team this year." Yup. Aaron picked his team out well this year...
Oh, hey. Look at that. As Sierra looked up, the Great Hall turned a stunning shade of green and silver. Stunning, of course, because it was the color of victory. The Great Hall, as everyone knew, was always decorated for the ending feast in the colors of the winning house. Hmm. Brilliant, really. Sierra was still admiring the color change when she heard someone say hello. Someone standing very close to her, so were they...talking to her?
Sierra slowly looked up, finally fixing her eyes on Iris, the house prefect and Head Girl. Sierra gave her a small smile. She was always in a good mood toward her fellow Slytherins. "Oh, ...hey." She looked up at the girl as she continued to talk, congratulating her on the Quidditch team winning the championship game. Oh, and she'd mentioned that Sierra had been fantastic this year, too. "Oh, ...was I?" Sierra nonchalantly asked. She'd considered for a moment just saying something like--"I know"--but she'd save that comment for someone from another house.
"Cool, thanks, Iris," she said. She should really say something polite to her, too. Erm... "Congratulations on graduating." Erm. What to say, what to say? "So, what's next?" Not professional Quidditch. It couldn't be. As far as Sierra knew, the girl had never been on the house team.

Oh, good. Lafay! Just who Sierra had been needing to talk to anyway. She sort of half-smirked, half-laughed (very silently, of course) at Lafay's reaction to the proposal. It was amusing to say the least, and Sierra got a kick out of it.

She thought it was hard in first year saying bye to Rex and Halle well this was ten times worse than that.
Samira nodded as she listened loyally to Nika's story. A lot of it she already knew, but some of it was news to her. How could one person hold so much emotion? This was too much drama for the end of term. If it was anyone else, Samira would've eaten it up, but now she supposed she was a part of it, since she was Nika's best friend. Or, best friend by default at least. She knew that if Emily came back, she would go back to being Nika's best friend again. And although she never said it out loud, Samira had became attached to the pink haired Gryffindor who gave her purple extensions.
"Well that was quite rude of her," said Samira after a moment of silence. "Really, what kind of friend does that? She could have at least tried and been nice to you." It was true, too. She didn't even think that the nastiest of Slytherins would do that to a "friend".
A part of Samira knew she could help the two make up. After all, she and Emily were on good terms. She was sure with a bit of prompting she could help them both to be friends again....but, where would that leave her? The lone Slytherin with the two Gryffindor besties. No. Samira wouldn't let that happen. This was where her Slytherin side came out. Her malicious, cunning, self-interested side. "I think you should forget about her," she said, putting some sympathy in her words for good measure. "Who knows how she would hurt you again? Don't you think you've had a hard enough year? Remember all the emotion?"
If there was one thing Samira Sapphire Spinks prided herself for, it was her ability has an actress. She made her eyes soften, her words soft and understanding, her body-language gentle...when in reality, there was a venomous snake inside, circling it's imaginary prey. "You're better off without her, Pink. Seriously. People like that don't change. You'll just get hurt again. You don't want that, do you?" The answer was obvious. Samira just hoped her deceiving skills would pay off finally. She was a Slytherin for a reason, and she felt no remorse if this plan worked.

After all, she was just looking after her friend.
Nika heard Samira's first sentence and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. She'd been expecting more along the lines of, "You shouldn't hold a grudge" or "It was sorta your fault too." But not what she heard, she wasn't expecting that at all. Then she contorted her face some more so now it was no longer showing her shock, but an expression of confusion. What did Samira mean? Then the Slytherin started to speak again. Then it seemed like a good turn for Nika to say something, but what to say she didn't know. She could have spoken up with the expected, "Yeah!" But Nika was not what everyone expected anyway so being abnormal in her response wouldn't have been too odd either.
She just stared at Samira. Well a part of Nika felt guilty for saying all of those mean things. Even guiltier for getting Samira to say those mean things too. She just wanted her old friend back, the one that went ice skating with her on the great lake, the one who taught her some charms, the one who was there through everything. Not an enemy. She looked up at Samira and took a deep breath. She waited for Samira to say more because Nika certainly had no idea what was going to come next.
Leave her? Surely Nika's own intentions hadn't been that bad. She only wanted Emily to know how upset she was then maybe in a good month or two... or three... or five they'd make up again. Even if they had to make up via owl. She wasn't planning on losing her old best friend over a stupid fight. "I-I guess so." Nika was falling for Samira's little act though. No matter how much she loved Emily before her friend had made her very upset and even angrier than she had ever been since her first term. Samira had been nothing, but loyal this year so she owed the snake in a sense. "I remember." She said almost wincing thinking about it. Taking another deep breath she looked up again.
"No I don't." Nika murmured in agreement. Samira's words yet short and quick had started to circle in Nika's mind. "You'll get hurt again.... Better off without her.... Forget her... Hard enough time... She will hurt you..." It was as if Samira were whispering the words in herself in Nika's ears. How was Nika supposed to make the decision. At this point it was like choosing between Samira and Emily. How was she supposed to make that choice? Emily her best friend from first year who broke her heart one to many times, then Samira the slytherin friend who stuck by her through and through and was loyal until the end. How was she supposed to pick. If anything Nika felt like more of a jumbled mess than she was when she first walked towards the slytherin table. She just needed time to think. Maybe in the train she'd be able to find an empty compartment. Maybe she'd be able to find someone who could help her out, someone who was impartial on the matter. Maybe a random hufflepuff or something?
This just became a whole lot more complicated than it needs to be.

Days of Potter 2023:___________________________ Which Bertie Botts Flavour Are You?
There was much serious contemplation as to whether or not her friendship-making techniques were effective or not. Why wouldn't anyone want to be her friend?! Was she the one that had to go up there--do all the work with her talking--oh Lola Jones, the only soul of good in this table! The only soul that thought well to form bonds! She sighed so dramatically at this thought and placed one hand below her cheek, with her head tilted straight up at the bewitched ceiling--this was the 'thinking' pose and it made her look more articulate and intelligent than ever.
Finally, at last, she heard someone speak in her direction!--A FRIEND?
Lola turned her head and placed her eyes on this young Slytherin girl who, at the moment, looked rather sad and oh Merlin, her eyes; those eyes stabbed her to the core! She pulled on a flummoxed look while she observed the girl, who REALLY looked as if she was going to miss Hogwarts, like she was. 'Oh, don't you worry little girl! YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO! You can stay with Aunt Lola at Hogwarts over the summer, and we shall live with our House Elf--whose name ends with -lita!'
The URGE! THE TEMPTATION!
Yet, she didn't even know her name.
"Oh oh you poor darling, of course, I'm all right!" she tutted, sympathetically patting the girl's head and shaking her head in pity. Her voice was heavy, and her head was still tilted up at a high angle because well, everyone KNOWS that angle for royalty. "May I ask your name, child? I'm Lol--" her eyes suddenly transitioned to the jacket potatoes on the girl's plate, and she shrieked in complete horror! The girl was after her--what with those cold, murderer eyes and those HORRIBLE potatoes! Why couldn't she have seen it from the beginning? "Take it away, child! TAKE IT AWAY!" Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as if she was about to faint and she quickly scooted a few inches to safety.
What the-?! What's going on?! Aiden looks at the Seeker again and follows where her eyes are transitioned. The jacket potato? But it's just a potato! Then again, Aiden has heard rumours flying around about the weirdness that is Lola Jones. Letting a sigh, she stabs the leftover of the potato with a fork before shoving it into her mouth.
"Thar, 's gone," says Aiden with a mouthful of potato hoping to calm the Seeker down. She takes time to finish the potato in her mouth before she starts to talk again. "Aiden Heartnett," she introduces herself briefly and offers a hand.
SPOILER!!: Caroline

"Hi I'm Caroline!" She offered her hand to the young snake. Hehe even if she was going to be a seventh year it didn't hurt knowing a few of the younger studies.... to help them out with something or something like that. Right?
Aiden clicks her goblet with Caroline's. "And may victory be ours again," she smirks before taking a sip off the goblet. Putting down her goblet next to her plate full of food, Aiden grabs a pair of fork and spoon before eating the the beef casserole.
Then, she realises Caroline introducing herself and offers to shake hand. Still chewing, Aiden stretches out her hand and grabs the other's as she swallow the food in her mouth. "Aiden Heartnett. Nice to meet you," she says giving another faint smile to the older Snake.
After that, she looks up the enchanted ceiling and sees green and silver banners and flags hanging down from it. Now, when did Tate arrive? A wide grin spreads across her mouth.
Isa sat down at the table a little quiet. It was a wonderful term and she loved Hogwarts. Next year would be so exciting. She had even taken her OWLS and felt good aabout them. This year was a fail compared to Beauxbaton where she was a ring leader. Whatever, she would make friends next year.
Did..... Did she....? What did she say........... Someone tell me!!!!! Bro, she said yes. Aaron was suddenly the happiest man on earth. He was going to marry Iris Beaumont. And he was going to be happy. EAT IT, HUFFLEPUFF!!!!
...
I'm so sorry. Anyway, when Iris kissed him, all he could do, was place the ring on Iris' finger, stuff the box in his pocket, (smile), stand up, give his future wife the biggest hug he had ever given anyone..... and then nothing. He seriously couldn't do anything else. He should have probably sat down or something. But he couldn't focus on it.
Aaron knew there were congratulations and good jobs coming his way (he may have even noticed Jimbo) but none of it computed. He was too busy recovering from his panic attack.
SPOILER!!: THE HEADMASTER
Tate entered the Great Hall and the decor immediately went green and silver. Well. That was a new one... why the delay? Stupid... MAGICAL HALL. Didn't know when to celebrate or not. Stupid. He stalked to the dais and took his seat without a word to anyone.
And then the headmaster came in and pulled Aaron out of his daze. Right, emotions aside.... Can't be disrespectful.... Except... Where was the chair? THE CHAIR DISAPPEARED- Oh no... It's behind Iris. Aaron started moving towards it, when...

Oh.... Err......... She saw that? Yes, well.... Uh.....
"Thanks, Professor," Aaron just noticed the Decor of the great hall. This was probably the last time he would see his Head of House..... Ever. "Professor.... Thanks for everything. Over the years...." She probably wouldn't give too big a response... But it had to be said.
