"Life couldn't be any other way." She answered tiredly as she remembered all the drama that the two of them faced together. Freya never had to deal with any drama, lucky girl. "Well, honestly, I would love to say I do understand, but I can't...because I don't." She said with a frown, she had made her own choice by keeping the boys at bay, and she couldn't expect Fee to do the same, they may be best friends, but they were also two different people.

Then she shook her head "No, I didn't mean it like that, really, I don't." She said vehemently "I should never have expected that we could fill in that gap, but we can't and we could never, because its a very different hole." Then she sighed "I just want the best for you, Fee. and If Hugo just happens to be it, then go right ahead, I won't stop you."

Then she leaned back against the chair and crossed her arms as she changed the topic "So, I heard Edmond was back." She said carefully as she glanced at Fee from the corner of her eye.

Fee nodded at her best friend.Someties the blonde thought life was created to cause drama."Thats true",she sighed,"sometimes i just want to crawl in my bed and never come out again."The Slytherin couldnt help but chuckle a litte as Cassie said she didnt understand.It was hard to understand actually but to Fee it made sense."Its okay that you dont have to understand",she smiled and hugged her bestie.They both had differnt ways to be happy with their lifes and it was good how it was.

The third year couldnt help but grin widely as she heard what Cassie was saying,she was truely a best friend."I know you only want the best for me ",she nodded,"and i am really happy to have you.You are there for me in every kind od situation."What would the bonde do without her CassieCas?"Thank you for everything bestie",the girl said and placed a little,friendly kiss on her besties cheek.hehe."Hugo makes me feel complete",she blushed,"maybe he just needs time.We all know how insecure he is."

Oh.Cass had heard about Edmond.That has been the weirdest day of her life."Oh well he was here for a visit",the girl nodded,"but to be honest i am glad he is gone again.I mean him being back would have caused so much trouble."Not that the blonde wouldnt have known who to chose but it would have been all weird to see Edmond agaiun all the time.

The questioning didn't seem to be ceasing which sparked his own curiosty he tucked the leather bound journal securely into the inner pocket of his robe and shifted his legs off the arm of the chair to the floor sohe was sitting properly. " Reykjavík, Iceland." He answered " What about you Miss. Jones?"

"Then how would you spread glitter all over the school if you stayed holed up in the dorms?" She asked teasingly, she knew Fee was starting to feel better. She just hoped it wouldn't happen again, or else she might just hex that boyfriend of hers straight to the hospital wing

"That's good." Cass said with a nod and a smile "Its nice that you finally found someone who can complete you." She hoped it was finally the happy ending that Fee had wanted, after all, the blonde deserved it. Then she rolled her eyes when Fee mentioned Hugo's...insecurity "Yes well, he always seem to think that you might just suddenly stop being with him, doesn't he?" Poor guy, maybe he should relax a little

Then her eyes narrowed when Fee mentioned that Edmond was simply there to visit. How does one get into Hogwarts and simply...visits? Do they even allow that? Especially now since Lord Borr is teaching here? "Why?" She asked when Fee mentioned trouble "Wasn't he and Hugo friends?" He wouldn't be all immature and charge at the Ravenclaw yelling about stolen girlfriends now..would he?

Emma smiled and smirked, folding her arms and looked at the boy who would be her Slytherin side-kick. "Nice to meet you. You know. I honestly have no idea. Maybe just hang out. Your new here.. So I'll show you around if you'd like and give you some tips." she explained, shrugging her shoulders and smiling.

DO HIS HOMEWORK? No way, kiddo. He'd do his own or he'd do her homework to. Uh-huh. She was older. And he couldn't push her around. No she was a FOURTH Year. Yeah.. that's right. She smirked.

"Psh.. Nice try, kid. I'm not a babysitting service or a homework service." she explained, laughing, unfolding her arms. "So what do you like to do for fun?"

Just hang out? Well, that didn't sound too bad. Although, Jamie did wonder why everyone who ever wanted to hang out with him were girls. Was he a girl? NO, he was a MACHO MAN. Perhaps all the other guys were intimidated by him. Yea, that was it. "Okay, we can hang out, fer sure." The boy patted a seat next to him on the sofa. This just felt.. awkward, because they were kind of being forced to hang out.

Owh. "It was worth a shot." He commented lowly. The homework was piling up for young Jamie Keaton. "Maybe you could HELP me, then." That would be the perfect thing for a sidekick to do. He may even tell Professor Lafay how helpful his sidekick was.

On second thoughts, he would never voluntarily talk to Professor Lafay.

"For fun, I like to.........." Errrrrm... he had to over-analyse his hobbies in his mind for a moment, to make sure they were cool enough. "Skateboard." That was macho. "Hanging out. Playing my guitar." Which he was not allowed to bring to Hogwarts, might he add. "There's not much to do here, though."

And that brought him to his first question. "What's FUN at Hogwarts?" Apart from sneaking around at night. Jamie would love to do that, yep.

The blonde Malfoy grinned at the younger boy. She smirked as he added the 'fer sure'. She smiled and took a seat by him. Perhaps the whole sidekick thing would work out? Emma laughed. "Well of course I can help you. BUT that doesn't mean I'll do your homework for you," she reminded him with a stern smile.

The Quidditch obsessed Malfoy nodded as she listened to what he liked to do. Huh, Skateboarding? Cool. Emma learnt how to skateboard from Brandon, the guy from California, in her first year. Where was he and how was he doing? She went back to listening to the third year. "Guitar? Thats cool. Too bad we can't bring instruments to Hogwarts. I can't bring my piano. But perhaps we can make an exception for the guitar." she thought. Maybe she could get his guitar here for him? Break a tiny rule? She'd need her partner in crime to aid her with this.

What was fun at HOGWARTS? EVERYTHING? "Well.. there's a lot of fun. There's a Giant Treehouse that you can jump off out of it. Quidditch is amazingly fun if you like it. Personally, I love it. You can pull pranks and sneak out." she explained her brown eyes sparkling with enjoyment. "The room of requirement is a nice place to go. Because it is a room that will adept to your needs. Say if you wanted a quite place to play your guitar, it would transform into that room and it would probably have a guitar or a guitar that is similar to yours in it." What else could they do for fun? Hmmmmm.. Maybe she should ask for some feedback? "Does that sound pretty cool?"

Ohhh CassieCass was sooo read.How would she spread glitter and make the castle more glamourous when laying in bed all the time?!That was a GOOD question."I guess i dont have a choice",the blonde giggled,"i have to get up every single day.What would Hoguwarts do without our sense of fashion?"Looking all old-fashioned,of course.

The Slytherin smiled at her best friend and thanked god for having her.No one could ask for a better best friend than Cass was to her."Every relationship has some troubles i guess",she nodded.As long as they were happy with eachothers prescence everything was okay.The third year couldnt help but laugh a little as she saw her bestie rolling her eyes."I dont know why but for some weird reasons he thinks i am way more than he deserves",the girl shook her head,"he thought he was just lucky and not that i got together with him because i actually like him as person."Maybe someday,Fee could help him over his insecurites.There was no reason to have them,because Hugo was like perfect to her.

The 14-year old shrugged and looked at the other blonde next to her."I have no idea",she said sighing,"he just popped up and disappeared again."It was the most horrible day of her life.Really confusing but actually Edmond visiting had a good aspect too.Hugo and Fee had finally shared their first kiss.Hehe.Thinking about that moment made the blonde smile."Hugo already started to believe i would go back to Edmond",she sighed,"he had already prepared for me to break up with him.He thinks Edmond is perfect and everything he is not."What soooo wasnt true.

Her eyes got big as she looked at him, "Ohhh Iceland. Never met a mate from Iceland before." she commented as she tapped her yellow fingernail against her chin in what she thought was a thoughtful manner. "Err um well me I'm from merry ole England ain't I," she told him with a smile. Well she was half right. She scratched at her cheek, "So what does a girl have to go to get into a bit of trouble around here?" she asked him with amusement in her voice.

" Mate? I hardly know you well enough to consider you my friend." He answered casually as he watched her tap her chin with her finger nail. Yellow. why in the name of merlin a slytherin even consider the horrid color was beyond him. " I wouldn't rightly know where you are from unless you told me first but I assume that is what you were attempting to do?" He arched his brow curiously. " Why would you even want to intentionally get into trouble?" He asked.

She put her hands up, "Whoa there." she told him. She didn't know who had rained on his parade but it sure wasn't her. And she stood up. He had made his point totally clear and she wasn't one for a verbal spanking. "Well I can see you don't like people so I will just leave." she turned to head somewhere. She didn't rightly know where she was going though.

Garrett watched her as she stood up and started to walk away it wasnt one to follow after people often but he hadn't intended to frustrate her either he was just saying what was on his mind really. " Wait..." He paused breifly before he sighed " I was just asking a question?"

Maddox had resigned herself to finally going to get that nap she had been promising her little body it would get when Sir Stick in the Mud called out to her. Her brown eyes swung over to look at him as he spoke. She popped her hands on her hips and sauntered back over to the seat her bottom had just vacated. She dropped down like a sack of potatoes and looked at him. "Well thats what I was doing too, but you seemed to make it pretty darn clear I wasn't your cuppa tea." she pointed out to him.

" Maybe you are maybe your not? Doesn't mean we can't have a conversation does it?" he asked casually. She wasn't like anyone he had ever met before and was slightly curious.

Maddox hated being told what she was to do and not do and she crossed her thin arms across her chest. "So let's have a conversation." she told him. "I will have mine with a side of disco fries," she added. And then her stomach growled at the mention of food.

"Of course you don't." Cass answered with a smile, then she shook her head and laughed "They would all probably die or something" Of course, that was an exaggeration, but it wouldn't hurt to imagine.

Then she leaned in towards the fire and poked it a few times to make it warmer before leaning back again, while listening to Fee talk about relationship and problems. She almost laughed when Fee said she didn't know why Hugo was always thinking that way "Maybe because he thinks too poorly of himself?" She said offhandedly as she twirled a stray strand of hair around her finger

Then she sat up when she started talking about Edmond, it turns out they saw one another. No surprise there. "He is so weird." Cass simply said as she looked at the crackling green fire, seriously, who gets in and out of Hogwarts, just like that? But Fee wasn't finished, of course Hugo didn't take the visit lightly, no surprise there either, but going as far as breaking up with Fee? Now that was crazy. Then something occurred to her..."Ah, maybe the reason why Hugo is so insecure because he thinks he's serving as some sort of rebound from Edmond!" She was such a genius

Fee joined her best friend with laughing and shook her head.of course the two had to sound totally obnoxious.But if no one else listened they would be fine.Giggle."Yeeeess they soo would die",the girl nodded,"i mean we make Hogwarts so much better."Without Cassandra Prewett and Feenella Schwarzberg Hogwarts would be soooo not glamourous.Uuugh.

That was the main problem,Hugo thought to poor of himself even though he had no reason too."Thats it",the Slytherin nodded,"i am really trying HARD to make him lose it and just believe in himself but it would be easier to get the sun shine in the night."Seriously,when would that Ravenclaw get that he was everything she wanted?!

The third year started laughing when her bestie said Edmodn was weird.Well actually he was,why had he left again?Why was he even hear?Was it even allowed to be at Hogwarts just as a visitor?Very confusing.But then the blonde's eyes grew wide as she got what Cass was saying.it was exactly what had been on her mind for so long and Hugo had kinda admitted."Well he thinks if Edmond would want me back i would run to him",the girl sighed,"but its not likle that and i told him in all honesty.Hopefully he got that i really love HIM."

"Well, maybe not die..." Cass said carefully as she looked around, trying to see if anyone was eavesdropping on their conversation "Crippled, maybe." She concluded with a nod

"Well, is there even a cure for insecurity?" She asked. As far as she knew, if Hugo really wanted to gain some confidence for himself, he'd going to have to deal with it on his own, because no one can fix it for him.

Then she smiled when Fee started laughing. Good, it meant that the third year was fine now. "Well, that's stupid." She said bluntly as she rolled her eyes "Well, at least you proved him wrong by staying with him when Edmond was around, right?"

"Ohhh yeeeees cripple thats the right word",Fee laughed.When Cass and Fee would have graduated the teachers should get them as employees just to help hogwarts not to cripple.Oh maann if someone heard the blonde's thoughts they would think she was mental.

"Unfortunately there is no cure for insecurity",the girl shook her head,"i hate how insecure i can be at times.But i try not to let it take over me,unlike other people.."There really should be a spell that made your grow your confidence,would make life sooo much easier.

The Slytherin nodded and smiled at her best friend.Maybe it was a good thing that Edmond had come to visit.That had given Fee the chance to prove that she really wanted Hugo and only him."Yeah at least something",she said,"we will see what the future brings."

It was late. Very, very late. Almost an HOUR after curfew, even! So where the HECK was Fallon?! They were supposed to be hanging out tonight... Like, a girly night in the Dorms or something.

The Head Girl was sat on the couch in front of the biggest fireplace in the Common Room. Well, she was sat upside down. Her legs were over the back of the settee and her head dangling off the cushions where her feet normally would.

Staring into the fire, Iris occasionally glanced to the clock.

Five minutes.

She eyed the Common Room door. Still no sign of Fallon. So Iris resumed her fire-watching.

Ten more minutes passed.

Still no Fallon.

WHY was she so late?! Where was she, really?! ... What if the creepy Transfiguration teacher had found her out after curfew and KILLED her with his chainsaw?!!?!

...

Okay.

That one's a bit far fetched. But Iris wouldn't put that past the man! Honestly!

Fifteen minutes passed.

Sighing, Iris frowned. Still sat upside down on the couch. She stared back into the fire again. Reaching into her pocket, she took out a compass. The one Wesley gave her for her birthday. She smiled a little bit, as she eyed the hand labelled "butterbeer". It pointed South West...ish. Towards New York. Towards where her favourite little Hufflepuff was right now.

Where WAS Fallon?!

Fallon was completely lost in her thoughts about Finn. She'd even forgotten the password momentarily. It took her a few minutes to remember it before she could enter the common room. She peeked her head in, hoping she wouldn't have to deal with Iris right there in front of everyone. Of course, her best friend had to be on the couch by the fireplace. Hanging upside down, but she was still there.

Fallon walked into the common room, the door closing behind her. She walked over towards the couch and took a seat in a nearby armchair. "Hey Iris." She looked over at the clock that was hanging on the wall. "Is it really that late?" She hadn't realized that her and Finn had been together that long. It just made her feel bad that she'd wanted to stay longer...

Iris had gotten a bit lost while examining the compass. She really did miss Wesley. She didn't hear the Common Room door open OR close. But perhaps that was because Fallon was being VERY quiet. The Head Girl only became aware of her best friend's appearance once she'd said hello. Sitting up, perhaps a little too quickly; Iris grabbed hold of the back of the couch to pull herself up and swivel around in her seat.

Is it that late?

PFFFT.

Iris blinked. "What? ... Yes it's that late!" she replied, a little louder than she meant to. Glancing around at the people nearby (which was, consequently most of the Slytherin House) and hoped that they didn't pay much attention to her. She'd glare at them if they did.

Um. Anyway.

"Where could you have you been to not realise the time?!?" Iris looked at her best friend, as if demanding an answer.

...

Wait a minute... Iris had lost track of the time soooo many times before - every single one of those times she'd been hanging out with Aaron. Never anyone else. LE GASP! Fallon had been with a guy, hadn't she?! Iris's eyes probably gave away that she'd figured that much out. but she didn't say anything more... She gave the Slytherin's near them a hasty look. Slytherin's liked to gossip, a lot. Maybe... maybe getting an answer from Fallon HERE wouldn't be the best idea...

Kimalia walked into the Common room taking in the scenery once again, she saw a couple older students immersed in themselves. Then she looked for the Notice board to check for any progress. For the past week since tryouts Kimalia had been checking the board daily for any new listing. Each time she would hold her breath only to be sulken in not seeing any news on Quidditch. This was bad since this gave her more time to doubt herself. "Oh, there were a few times I almost had the Quaffle on the second day, then there was the mini collision with an older student, but at least I wasn't going for Chaser position." It was true, she wanted to be a Beater. She slowly approached the board to hold her breath again.



Reading it over and over, she had to make sure she saw it correctly. Eyes widening she fought the urge to react as she bolted to her dorm.

Connor came into the common room and settled himself into a comfy chair near enough to the fire to keep himself warm. He reached into his pocket for his silver flask that held his headache potion. He took a sip and then held the cool flask to his head. He could feel the cooling sensation against his warm forehead. He sighed and closed his eyes. All this mistrust he was getting from Kurumi's friends and their judgement of his veela blood was making his headaches worse. He took another swallow and then lowered his left hand holding the flask dangling from his fingertips over the arm over the chair. The other hand he used to massage his throbbing temple, then holding his right hand holding it out in front of him the firelight glinted off of his silver serpent ring with the emerald eyes. He really needed a manicure.
