Mann. Why did everyone always go for the nose. It was so annoying. Finlay rather liked his nose. It wasn't going to be horrible at this rate. "I'm okay Soph.." Although he didn't really like her standing infront of him. She was getting covered in his blood. "Soph...you're getting covered in blood." And he didn't really want her covered in his blood, no more than he wanted to get covered in his own. "And...I think I can walk." It wasn't that much blood, it just looked like loads seeing as he was wearing a white shirt. "Yeah....it might be good idea." Just incase he like fainted on the way down on something. He really didn't want Lexi to be faced with that or something.

Oh. But Lexi was going. Well that was okay. He didn't mind really. She'd done enough. "Thanks Lexi.." Finn smiled at her, watching as she wandered away. Maybe it was a good thing really? Anyone could've seen them together, and they really didn't need any rumours going around. There was enough gossip at this school as it was.
Turning back to Sophie Finlay attempted to smile. "To the hospital wing then?"

it's official, Jeanne is so lost. She is trying to find the Ravenclaw's common room and she can't even remember where it is. Great. A Ravenclaw that gets lost. Ever since she transferred at Hogwarts, she's been lost a lot of times. There are times she would just walk the whole day finding which place is which. It's quite embarrassing to tell that story.

She looked around the corridor and looking quite confused. Where is she now? Was she in the right place to begin with? She could've just brought her map with her.

Lexi had been taught muggle aid just like she had been. Maybe Sophie had just got the wrong foot of how to treat a broken nose with blood flowing out of it. Not feeling up to starting a dispute the lioness prefect just said "Okay, well thank you for letting me know how to do it right." The blond turned to leave as she had better things to do then to take the head boy to the hospital wing which she informed Sophie. Moving over to let Finn lean on her she watched her house mate leave. "Right, well i can take it from here."*sigh* sometimes she just didn't understand other girls her age.

Was it a Hogwarts tradition to hit someone on the nose if you were angry at them? Shaking her head she turned her attention to Finlay. Looking herself over she said calmly "I know. It's nothing to worry about. I'll go wash it off in the prefects bathroom later. Let's get you to healer Moretti!" Sophie had been covered in worse things then a little blood when she had helped her mother out at her magical creatures hospital in the summers like dung from a winged horse. Holding onto Finlay she nooded "Yes, come on before you paint the whole floor red."

Eyeing the professor some, Josh took another step closer to him so he would not be distracted so much by the others around while he was attempting to explain his point of why this incident had taken place there ''Sure...'' he said nodding quickly with a serious expression which he did not wear so frequently. It was hard to find him being serious anyway. But yeaa now he was serious...seriously.

Glancing at the girls there for a moment, the lion boy turned back to Professor Man and opened his mouth to ask if this could be a private conversation yet upon hearing Lexi's comment over his words, he shut that mouth of his and stared at the girl. Not really glaring like she did at him all the time, just staring...with an expression of disbelief.

Relationships? Seriously? Josh already knew Lexi hated him however he could never guess that she thought he was that stupid. He did not need to be told that school staff would not be interested in the lovely love lifes of the students. ''I assure you professor...'' he began still staring at the girl then turned back to him anyway ''...it is nothing she made it sound like and...''

Wait!

What was he doing? Who was he dealing with anyway? Lexi? She did not worth any of even his tiniest efforts anyway. And they were kinda happy dealing with this stuff between themselves until some extra people decided to punch the BigHead Boy which was not really a bad move after alland other had decided it would be wise to interfere with something she had nothing to do with, talking to professors without even having a single information about the case. So there was no point in dealing with this anymore. He could always find Finny Finn Fin again somewhere where no one could jump in and solve the incident himself.

''Anyway...professor. Since someone else seems to know what i am going to tell you and thinks its worthless i think i am retreating from this. Sorry for bothering you. I think i should go and mind my own business now.'' And the psycho girl kept glaring at him. Eeeeh. She definitely had serious issues and someone had to help her. Really...Josh would do that if she did not hate him so much.

What was weirder that she made Finn look like his best friend each time he looked at her. Meeeeeeeeeh. Whatever. Looking at the head boy this time, Josh did not react, did not even move a single muscle, when he saw all the blood. Well...he was pretty much used to see such scenes. Again a broken nose was not a big deal anyway. Only a first year girl would complain about it.

And now Sophie was officially the only prefect who spoke sense, which was not antipathetic at all, Josh had ever met. Hmmm. And since they were now taking Finlay to the hospital wing and what not, there was nothing that interested Josh anymore.

''Well...care to make sure it is fixed well, Finny.'' he said with a slightly sarcastic tone which vanished when he adressed to the others next ''I hope to see you around Sophie and good day to you professor''

And with that the Gryffindor boy walked away making his way back to the portrait of The Fat Lady.

He took the point loss pretty well, really. Probably because he knew he deserved it. Or, at least, he hoped that was the case. If not he would be losing some more points soon if he continued walking around punching people.

"No, not before somebody explains to me what exactly is going on!" Jeremy gave the boy a rather stern look to make him stay and not go anywhere. WHAT?! He was only sorry he had to see that? "So you don't regret losing your temper in the first place?" He gestured vaguely into the direction Finn was standing, whose nose was emitting more blood than he would have ever thought possible.



Actually turning back to the two Jeremy frowned with concern for the Head Boy...and Lexi too really because they both seemed pretty grossed out by the amount of blood. Well, who wouldn't be? He could even smell it from where he was standing. Ugh.

Nodding at Lexi's words Jeremy muttered more to himself than her, "Well, you weren't there before, though." Which was true so he didn't really know if Finn HAD done something to provoke Matthew. "Anyway, he really has to get to the Hospital Wing now." If it turned out that he wasn't completely innocent after all they could still talk about that later.



Just as he was about to turn to Josh to demand an explanation, Sophie sprung into action and offered accompanying the Head Boy to the Hospital Wing too. Which seemingly was not taken too well by Lexi. "Yes, Finlay, rather lean your head forward. Otherwise you'll swallow the blood and well since it has to get out of your stomach again in some way, that's...not very pleasant." He agreed with Lexi on this.

...who just WALKED OFF! Narrowing his eyes slightly Jeremy opened his mouth to call after her that she couldn't just leave but then his eyes fell on Finlay again and all the blood and he simply closed it again. There was no time for that now. "Okay, we'll just ignore all that hormonal touchiness for now." Sigh. "Sophie, could you please accompany Finlay here to the Hospital Wing. Make sure he gets their safely and his nose is fixed. Thank you." Now, onto the real problems.



At Lexi's prior comment that this all was about some relationship issues Jeremy had groaned mentally. Now turning back to Josh he gave him a slightly pleading look, hoping it was NOT about something as petty as who dated whom, and who was actually in love with whom but couldn't go out with them because they actually had a boyfriend. Or stuff like that.

Josh, however, didn't apparently feel the need to explain after all but only made a snide remark about Lexi. And then turned to leave too. Oh no you won't. "Whoa, Josh, you stay right here. Nobody's leaving anymore-" Apart from Finlay who really needed to go see the Healer. "-until somebody's explained to me what all this is about." He narrowed his eyes at Matthew and Josh, waiting for somebody to tell him what was going on.

She rubbed her tired, brown eyes as she tied back her auburn curls. She was still off her sleep schedule from coming back to school, and the only reason she had woken up is because Sirius had been tapping loudly outside her window. With a note. Adelyn grabbed the note and read it quickly, while tossing on a pair of jeans, a shirt, and some robes, and ran down the stairs to the door. After practically falling out of the entrance, she threw her arms around her little sister. "Sorry I'm late!" she grinned.

Stupid...that was stupid. Anyway he was, at least, going to get rid of it now and relax a little after...

Huh?

Of course, the boy halted at the point where he stood when he heard Zoo's remark that he couldn't leave until the case was explained. Pffft. Yeah. Definitely stupid. And even Josh himself acted stupid for ever mentioning that there was a deeper reason. It was HIS case and he needed no one in it. So, yea, he had been stupid to mention it.

''Well...professor.'' nevertheless the Gryffindor boy spoke turning back to the man. ''I thought Lexi has already pointed it out and implied its value so clearly with her so precious words.'' Heh. That girl who acted like she ruled everything she jumped in even when she had no idea about it. ''If you need more info about it, why don't you ask her instead?''

No, he was not really disrespecting the professor. That was not his aim and he did not need to do that anyway. He was only annoyed that he had asked her what had been happening thought she was the last participant there. ''Now, can i leave please? I need to change in the dormitory so i can be ready for some exercising. The weather outside is perfect for running.''

First Marie, then came Finn, followed by Matthias and now it was Ivan's turn. She had decided that they all owed her a butterbeer when Hogsmeade opened. And maybe some candy from Honeydukes as well.

Finding a nice bare patch of wall right near the door to the Ravenclaw common room, Mia casually lent up against it and crossed on ankle over the other while she waited for her friend.

Ivan came down the stairs and out of the common room in no better mood than he went in and finding Mia against the wall crossed his arms. "What Mia? What? You know I don't have anything of yours so what do you want," he spat out frustrated.

This was all too much for him and he couldn't take it any more. First Lexi, then Mia which was understandable but now Dora and he THOUGHT she had liked him too.

Mia took a good minute before she responded to Ivan's rather angry outburst. "And yet you still came out here knowing full well you don't have anything of mine." She uncrossed her ankles, took a deep breath and pushed off the wall and approached him carefully making sure to keep enough distance between them.

"Talk to me Ivan. You know I just want to see you happy." Yeah maybe she wasn't the best person to talk to considering what happened last term but she will be damned if she didn't try and help out a friend. A close one at that.

"Only because I know you wouldn't stop if I didn't," he said with a frown keeping his arms crossed as he watched her come closer. If she even thought about.... Good she wasn't coming any closer to him.

"Do you?" he said clenching his jaw and looking away. "I'm starting to think no one in this damn place does." He looked back at her and let his green eyes stare into hers. There was a lot of pent up rage in him. Usually he was the level headed one of the trio but he felt like he was about to explode. "I suppose you want to know what happened too." Because no one could mind their own business. "I kissed Dora alright. I told her I liked her at the lake and she said she liked me and I was going to ask her out but...the words wouldn't form so I kissed her. She bit my lip," he sucked on it to make sure it wasn't still bleeding. "Pushed me away and ran off like I'd done something...vial to her or something." He had ended up staring at the floor at some point and brought his eyes back up to meet hers and they were almost like green steel, "There. Are you happy?"

Oh boy! He was really angry, more so then what had happened in the room of requirement last term. Mia, was starting to think that this might not have been a good idea. She opened her mouth to tell him that he didn't need to tell her anything he didn't want to, but he had already launched into what had him upset so she closed her mouth and listened.

"No." she replied in a quiet voice. How could she be happy when one of her friends was so hurt and upset. And for the first time, Mia wanted some help. And of all people to think of, it was James Wilkes that she wanted help from. "You know Ivan, you might just be reading too much into it. She said she liked you, but maybe you moved too fast for her. I don't know. But what I do know is...you need to talk to HER." She so very much wanted to hug him but she kept her distance, he was just too angry. "But not until you have calmed down first."

He felt oddly smug that he got to her at her quiet response. "Good." He didn't think she would be happy at that but he didn't care really what she thought. "Yeah well if I did she does a good job of fooling me. It's not like you Mia. I made that mistake and I knew better. I'm tired of always being the one hurt. TIRED OF IT. It's been that way since I was little and for once I'd like SOMEONE to return my damn feelings!"

Yeah...he was yelling now but he couldn't stop himself. "Ever since I came here it's been nothing but pain and I'm fed up. First with Lexi who claimed she loved me but I guess just not enough. Then you and that was a mistake on my part and I was just vulnerable and you were there. And then I met her and I really really like her but because there's no damn spark...." He sighed and leaned against the wall away from Mia rubbing his head. "Is it really so much to ask? Even my own mum wishes I was my cousin instead.." he said looking up at her.

Again Mia let him have his rant because obviously he needed to get it all out but it reminded her of the conversation she'd had with Matthias. How he whined at her because Marie wouldn't return his feelings. And as much as she loved her friends, she was getting tired of them feeling sorry for themselves all the time.

When he had finally finished, Mia stepped forward her eyes narrowed and she poked him in the chest. "You want someone to return your feelings? Then stop going after the wrong damn girls then." Her voice still remained calm even though she did indeed feel like yelling at him. "And okay, you and Lexi didn't last but you had a few good months together, right? And if this other girl is not feeling it then you can't push it Ivan. As for me I'm sorry Ivan but you knew right from the start I would never be yours."

She really hated talking to people like this but sometimes it just seemed to be the thing to get through to them. "You're only sixteen for goodness sakes. A time for you to fool around and stuff. Plenty of time for you to settle down into a relationship. And before you say anything, I just happened to be lucky enough to find the guy of my dreams early on."

Ivan watched as Mia stepped forward and poked him in his chest and his eyes widened. What the.... Oh lecture time. "Actually I'm seventeen. Just had my birthday but that's not the point." She just didn't understand. He didn't want to do what James did and for all the grief he gave Miles he kind of wanted what he had. "You don't understand..." he said quietly and pushed off the wall.

"Fooling around doesn't bring me any happiness Mia. I may talk a big game but it just doesn't." Sighing he looked at his watch and stuck his hands in his pockets. "I'm leaving Mia. I need to owl mum and stuff to send Bothari so I need to go..." he said looking at her.

No she probably didn't understand because well she didn't have that problem. But even if she didn't have Nik in her life, Mia didn't think she would be really bothered if she was in a relationship or not. "You just can't plan these things Ivan. They have to happen naturally."

She took a step to the side and out of his way. "Then I guess you better go. But I just have to say one moe thing...just because your love life is not working out doesn't mean you have to throw away your friends." Mia backed up against the wall and watched him sadly. "I just wanted to help."

Naturally...yeah. Except that as soon as they heard what he was they'd just pretend to want him. He watched as she stepped out of the way somewhat shocked. He kind of expected a bit more of a fight with her. Whatever it was better this way.

Seeing her back against the wall and the look on his face he swallowed. "I'm not throwing away my friends. You're always welcome to my house." He walked over to her and pulled her away from the wall wrapping his arms around her in a hug. "What's here for my Mia? Honestly. I know most of the stuff they teach here. The few friends I have here? I see all of you during the breaks anyway. No matter what...I have to go away after next term. So why prolong the inevitable?" He pulled back and looked at her seriously. "Tell me why I should stay? What possible reason is there?"

Mia let him pull her into a hug and as she wrapped her arms around him she breathed a sigh of relief that he didn't seem so angry anymore. Only problem was, he was now sad and she didn't know which was worse.

As she looked into his eyes, Mia reached up and laid her hand on his cheek. "Because I want you to. And because the few friends you have would want you to as well. Because like you said, you're going away and then that's when life is going to get serious for you so why not enjoy the next two years." She dropped her hand from his cheek and gave him a small smile. "And because you need to talk to that girl and find out what is going on with her."

Ivan closed his eyes as he felt her hand on his cheek and sighed as he heard her say she wanted him to. "That's cheating you know," he said with a slight smirk. He was pretty sure she knew he would do just about anything she asked him to. Except that. "No I'm not going to talk to her. She made what she thought perfectly clear when she bit me." Which was still kind of sore. He ran his tongue along his lip and winced.

Sighing he gave Mia another hug and picked her up slightly. "Alright. Alright. Come on let's go eat something I'm starving." He said grabbing her hand and dragging her down the hall. "Just be glad I love you enough to listen to you," he said as he heard his stomach growl. Running away would have had to wait until after he ate anyway.

Yeah, that had been unfair of her to say that. But he didn't seem to be angry about it and in fact his smirk was back so Mia did her best not to feel to bad about it. The whole lip thing was weird. She didn't get it. She bit Nik all the time and he didn't seem to mind it. But she kept that to herself. "Well that's totally up to you of course." She could only make him do so many things it seemed.

Eeep! Mia let out a little squeal when he picked her up and then she laughed, more out of relief than anything. So happy that he was back to his old self. She gave his hand a squeeze as he dragged her down the hall. "Well it's nice to know someone does." she said in a teasing voice as she jogged to keep up with him. "So what are you buying me for lunch?"

Caroline had just came from the Owlery she had a few letters to send home. Plus she hadn't seen her owl since she took her here after the start of term feast. She was coming down through the seventh floor corridor trying to find someone or find somewhere else to go.

Not wanting to be in the Slytherin common. She had been avoiding the common room at night and went straight to her dorm. She didn't want to run into Marie, not there anyway. She hated walking all the way from the seventh floor to the Dungeon that was quite a long walk from there. The room of requirement, that would a good place to go. She walked down to the part of the corridor where the enterance was. She walked up and down twice and on the third time and stopped there was someone coming.

With a pair of Omnioculars hanging from her neck, Destiny made her way up to the seventh floor. She thought it was the perfect place to go bird watching and the floor was where a certain person's common room just so happened to be. But she was there for the birds! And not the Ravenclaw birds either, pfft.

Skipping her way down the corridor, looking for a window or that certain person, Destiny noticed someone pacing back and forth further down. She was just about to turn back around and pretend she didn't see, but when the girl stopped, she figured she was already spotted. So, continuing her skipping she moved closer, immediately recognizing the girl. "Caroline!" she called out, her skipping stopping once she reached her. "Dooooo yooooou knoooooow..where the Gryffindor common room is?"

She was dating one, after all.

Eino came out of the Ravenclaw common room wearing his trainer sweats and a t-shirt, both of which were blue and bronze and had the Ravenclaw crest on them. He looked both ways to see if Kurumi was coming, but couldn't see her anywhere, so he reached for his pocket and took out a roll of parchment. He unrolled it and re-read all of the assignments he was excepted to completed by the end of the year for his DADA. First, he was going to stretch and then go for a short eight kilometers jog. All he had brought with his, besides the list of tasks, was his wand, only because he never parted with it, but he didn't know if he would need it. He looked for Kurumi again but no sign of her yet, so he leaned against the wall and waited.

Kurumi walked out of the Gryffindor common room wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of pale violet shorts. The shorts were actually a little too large for her since they were hand-me-downs from her brother, Ryunosuke. Which begged the question as to WHY her brother had a pair of violet shorts, seeing as he had never played soccer in his life, but Kurumi often times did not want to know about her brothers’ personal lives.

Tightening her ponytail, Kurumi walked a few steps and noticed Eino was already there waiting for her. "S-S-Sorry!” she squeaked lightly jogging towards him. “I hope I didn’t make you wait too long.” She looked her friend up and down and admired his jumpsuit. “You look very Ravenclaw,” she noted.

Leaning over a bit, Kurumi checked the parchment in Eino’s hands and groaned silently. She was pretty sure that Lord Borr was incapable of doing everything on this list. “So, what should our course be? Run through the castle twice and then the grounds? Or...run in place for several hours?”

"Hmmm..." Eino stopped to think about this for a moment. "We should run through the castle and outside." Running in place didn't seem like a good idea, he would probably stop running and not even notice that he had stopped. "But first we stretch!" He announced rolling the piece of parchment and putting it back in his pocket. That way they could do two of the things on the list. Well, for today at least, since they would have to stretch daily. Eino considered doing it in the morning, either immediately after he woke up or after he brushed his teeth. It was a decision that had to be carefully deliberated, but for now they would stretch then run.

"Why do you think he is having us do this?" He supposed it would make since for someone who fights dark creatures to be fit but most importantly they should learn about dark creatures and how to defend against them. Some of the tasks were just plain strange, like singing, and Eino didn't see how they would be useful. Not that he was complaining, he loved to sing and was looking forward to it. Preferably, he would perform it for an audience. "Do you suppose we will even have classes?" That list was for the entire semester which cause Eino to think whether or not they would.

He began stretching his arms by grabbing his right forearm with his left hand and pulling it, he did this for a couple of minutes, then moved on to his left arm for another two minutes.
