Anakin patted Took's head, before ushering out the little owl, and turning to leave. Stopping, Anakin could see a girl coming in and walking towards him. It was slightly dark, but if he squinted just right he could read what she was saying.

Smiling and offering a hand in greeting, Anakin replied. "Pleasure Hannah Malfoy." And before he could continue she was saying ew? Blinking slightly, and struggling to read what else she was saying, it all clicked in Anakin's mind. And he had to bit his lip from giving a small chuckle, that could be uncharitable. "Hold still for a second Ms. Malfoy, I'll see if I can't see."

Anakin examined her hair for a second, before pulling back and shaking his head. "All clear! Careful though, you might want to pull up your hood. They drop like bombs in here." It wasn't a pretty sight. "I'm Anakin Amstern."

Anakin merely gave an offhand wave, trying to fend off the thanks. He didn't do anything that special. Just check for owl droppings. In her hair...Okay, maybe it was a big thing for a girl. "Your welcome, no need for thanks though." None at all. It's not like it had been a hard task. Kane? That was a new one, but he sort of liked it. Nodding, his usual smile in place. "Yeah, Kane's good. Can I call you Han?" Hannah was too long.

Anakin winked slightly as she took his advice and put up her hood, before leaning against a beam behind him. "5th year Hufflepuff. I WISH I were Ravenclaw." Did Hogwarts allow switches? Merlin, he wished it were so. Nodding at the request of borrowing Took, "Yeah, sure. It shouldn't take him too long. Took should be back by late tonight, or maybe morning. If you can't wait that long, I'm pretty sure you can use the school owls." That's why they kept so many of them.

A KITTEN!? "Awh. What kind is she?" So...Anakin mighta just been a WEE bit of an animal obsessionist. Especially cats. It's not HIS fault they were adorable.

Daichi had wanted to go to his Common Room but..surely this was not it! It couldn't be. There were owls and students from different houses. Aww man , he knew he should have payed attention when they were walking to the common rooms the night after the feast.

He looked up to see some few owls flying across and away to , are those letters? Daichi vaguely remembered his big brother telling him about a place where you could send post with an owl. Daichi grinned and dropped his bag on the floor and placed Mr.Duckles his plushed duck on a clean spot before opening his bag and grabbing out a quill , parchment and ink. He dipped the quill in the ink and began writing.

You NEVER guess what house i'm in! Guess guess guess! No i don't want to you to guess it is far more fun to write it down. I'm in SLYTHERIN! If i knew how to make a parchment to stick out its tongue it would do it to you big brother <3 You with your Hufflepuff, HAH. Anyways, it has been pretty good since i've been here. I shouted at the Prefect I mean talked to the prefect O_o and exploded the boys dormitory! ..okay maybe not good things had happened but i've made some cool friends along the way!

Daichi rolled his parchment up and had to chuckle a bit at what he had wrote. Yes his family was pretty relaxed about what he wrote, they would even laugh about it. The first year looked around but then remembered he did not bought a owl at Diagon Alley. How was he suppose to bring the letter? "Yaaa! does anyone know if i can use one of these owls?!" He asked through the owlery.

Well Getting owl poop on your head is a big ew thing in the girl world Kane.Yes you can call me Han or you can call me my middle its marie.Yeah i could use one of their owls i never thought of that.She is a black cat i dont what the call them.She about 8 months old now and she getting up in size now but she hasn't have cat nip yet.

Nika grinned. Ah, a first year. Not so surprising at all. There are many of them this term. "Yep yep! I'm a Gryffie." She smiled. "I'm a lion hear me roar! RAWR!" She did her best imitation of a little lion's roar. Eh, not too bad for being Nika. "A first year?" That's like the fourth time she was mistaken as one today! "Actually I'm a second year." she replied cooly as she straightened her back proudly.

"Oh I see." Mordred said a little bit weirded out when he heard her do a 'roar'. "How was your first year here?" he asked. The boy was a bit confused too because, well. She still can't send an owl and she's already in her second year.

Anakin chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "Well, I suppose that's true. Actually...I might have freaked out too." Because owl droppings. Hair. Connected. That was just...disgusting. BLECH. "Okay, Han it is." ^__^ Because her first name was pretty, so he just thought to shorten it. Instead of substituting it out completely. "Hannah Marie, huh? That's pretty."

Black cat? Anakin blinked and gave a slight shrug of his shoulders, he didn't
remember the name for that type right off the bat. "Well that's cool." If not a little cliche, still cool. HEH? No cat nip? Ani frowned slightly, tilting his head. "Have you thought to go to the house elves? they really are rather nice. I bet one would be more than happy to get you food in return for a bottle or two of butterbeer." Cheeky little buggers.

Rebecca walked into the owlery with three letters in hand. She saw that there were a lot of people in the owlery. There were mainly Gryffs, Slyths, and Claws in the owlery, but that didn't stop or scare Rebecca. Why? Because she was on a mission. A mission to mail three letters to her family, one for her brother, one for her sister, and one for her parents. She looked around for one of the school's owls, since she had a cat and not an owl. When she found one, she asked it to deliver the letters that she had. It agreed, took the letters, and flew off. "Now back to the common room," Rebecca thought as she left the owlery.

"My first year was AWESOME! You're really gonna love it here!" Nika kept herself from jumping up and down. She didn't want to scare the owls, then again that probably happened a long time ago.

"Really?" he asked. "Well, I suppose so. I just rescued someone from a boggart a while ago. I guess Hogwarts will be fun." he added with a grin.

"I'm really looking forward to learn a lot from the school's DADA subject. Also Transfiguration." he said.

"Oh cool a bogg-wart!" But wait... "What's a bogg-wart?" That is what he said right?? Bogg-wart?

"Yeah transfiguration is alright. But the professor this term looks very... interesting." SHAW." Not Professor SHAW. Not Mr. SHAW. Not even SHAW Sir. It's only SHAW. Just SHAW". Interesting indeed....

"No it's pronounced boh-gahrt." Mordred corrected her. "It's a changeling. It takes the form of a person or a thing that scares you the most." he said. "We've got lots of those back home. Mum and Dad would scare it away together. They said it's best to deal with a boggart with a partner, so it will be confused." he added.

"Yes that Shaw fellow." Mordred smirked. "I find him...funny and interesting." he commented. "Well, I suppose we just have to wait and see what he's up to."

Presley stepped into the owlery to send her letter to her dad. He would freak because she wasn't a Gryffie. But she hoped he'd get over it quickly. Her dad had a temper, but he was usually a pretty cool guy. There were a couple other students in there, so Presley wanted to get out as fast as possible. She was feeling claustrophobic. She called down her owl.

Theodore, having been freed from the weight of his multiple textbooks after leaving them in the dormitory, made his way up to the owlery with his closest Gryffindor friend at his side. He needed to send off his Hogsmeade permission slip to his parents but, alas, the new kid didn't have an owl of his own. He was only in possession of a cat named Bree, who had followed to boys from Ravenclaw tower to the owlery, hoping to sneak in at their heels. At the last moment, Theodore had urged her away. Who knew what that crazy tabby would do in a room full of birds?

"Thanks for coming with me." Theodore thanked his lion-like friend, again, and searched the perches for a free owl. "I hope they write back soon. I'd hate to have to miss the first Hogsmeade trip." Finding an owl and grabbing a piece of string one person had left lying around, he reread his letter and, rolling it up, tied it warily to the scaly leg of the obliging tawny owl. Blinking, as if in salute, the owl took off from the nearest window. Leaning out of the window, he peered after it. That was, until he looked down and realized exactly how high up they were. Shuddering, Theodore pulled himself back inside immediately, shaking it off. "Ugh, facial hairz heights. Me no like dems."

He took a hand to brush his hair back, shaking off his momentary bout of fear.

Nika nodded slowly. "Oh! Boh-GAAHRT." She pronounced it as slowly as she could. "Oh! Well it sounds like a very peculiar creature then! Never had anything like them where I come from." Well obviously because she lives with muggles.... "But it sort of sounds like fun to deal with!"

Nika laughed at Mordred's next comment. "The idea of him with that chainsaw is going to give me nightmeres." she admitted. Nika could just imagine waking up in the middle of the night screaming: CHAINSHAW! Won't that be a sight.....

Rosemary walked up into the Owlery to try to find to find an owl to use but nstead saw the Family Snowy Athena, "Heya Athena! Keeping an eye out for me?" She asked it whilst giving it a tender stroke before starting to write a letter about Hogwarts so far, Professor Christensen in Runes, Professor Shaw in Transfiguration and Professor Lafay in Potions.

"Hi Luna," Charlie said loudly as she apprached her black owl Midnight. Yeah it was such an original name. She took out her quill and started writing on her parchment.


Dear Dad (and maybe Mum if you go near this owl hehe)
I'm just writing to let you know that Hogwart's is great! It's just like what you told me. I've made some friends from my house.. Oh yeah! I'm a Ravenclaw. I hope you don't mind Dad, as you were a Puff
I'll write again at the end of this week.

Charlie attached the letter to Midnight's claw and watched him fly away.

''Hey Charlie are you sending an owl to your parents too'' said Luna looking at Charlie's owl go off and seeing her own in the distants

"Yeah" Charlie said, watching Midnight become a small speck of black against the blue sky. "I was telling my dad that I was in Ravenclaw. I wonder what he will say," She laughed. "What about you? What house were your parents in if they came here?" Charlie smiled

Zara skipped happily to the owlery. She was sending a letter back home of her first day at Hogwarts and her birthday present for her mom. She hummed a happy tune as she made her way to the owl post. With a huge smile on her face, Zara was very proud of what she had accomplished. She had finished the composition she made. Of course, she still had a draft of it in her pocket, just in case she finds a piano somewhere in school. She'd like to play to see how it sounds.

Nessie was going to the owlery to check on Aya and to give her a letter for her parents. She walked in and got a bit of a fright. Zara was there. Just stay calm and talk normally she told herself, maybe it won't be akward then. "Hey Zara. How are you?" said Nessie trying to smile as she walked over to Aya and gave Aya an owl treat and a stroke.

Zara looked up to see Ness. She smiled and said, "I'm fine. Just finished the composition. I hope mum will like it."

Obviously, she completely forgot about everything that happened before. She had spent too much time on her piece that she can't actually remember much that happened. And now, she was having the best day of her life because she had made her very own piece. Plus she'd done it in Hogwarts. It was a bright future ahead of her.
