Send an Owl Post Come and send a note or letter using your own owl or any of the school owls. Owls line the walls in nooks and on branches. Pellets and belladonna berries are on the floor. |
Connor walked up to the Owlery, letter to Ryoma in hand. it was nice to have an older friend to write to. He attached the letter to an Owl and sent it off to The Leaky and soon Caramel hopped out of his pocket and began playing with the owl pellets and belladonna berries, looking for a mouse or something. Meanwhile Connor was looking around at all the pretty sleeping birds. |
Kyle made her way up to the owlery - luckily, it was quite close to her dorm in general. The thought Must feed Chester ran quickly through her mind - she had been son focused she nearly didn't noticed Connor or Caramel already there. When she did notice them she was of course focusing on not falling on any of the lovely pellets on the ground. Gag. Luckily, she didn't slip. Ginger noticed Caramel almost the instant that Kyle stepped into the owlery. As soon as Kyle had stopped moving she jumped to the ground, luckily she wasn't swooped up like food by one of the many hungry owls. Quickly she ducked over to the other cat. Swatting her paw to her in attempt to see if she were real, and if she were actually there almost as soon as she did that she noticed the other cat was playing searching for something. Mewing over to her you could tell the little adventuring kitten had found a new playmate. Taking out a peice of paper she scratched out a note. Quote:

Caramel looked over at the other little kitten she sniffed to make sure she was real and that she wasn't going to be mean to her like that Walnut and Marshmallow. She walked over to her and rubbed her face against the other kitten's purring loudly as she did so. Connor smiled at the kittens. He barely looked up as a pretty girl entered the room. He didn't need to, his Veela blood told him as the sweet scents of Cinnamon and Vanilla exuded from him. "Hello." He said softly. |
just moving to the other forum - letter scent :D "Hello" she smiled over to Connor, glancing over to Ginger she couldn't help but smile. It seemed she had found a friend, and that, to her was always a good thing. Quickly she attached the note to one of the school owl's legs, and watched it fly off. "I'm Kyle" she smiled, "um I'll be right back I've got to check on my owl Chester he's got a broken wing" she explained pointing to the other section of the owlery strictly for visiting owls. Ginger was happy - bounding around the room, she turned back to the other kitty, she mewed over to the other kitten before jumping to the other section. |

Connor smiled "Hi Kyle I'm Connor." He said softly, smiling at the girl. He leaned back against the wall, not ready to head down yet. "Take your time." |
Plithsev hurried to the owlery to send a message. She remembered what Mord had told her: "I will help you improve in all your subjects if you do a few small favors for me. I want to know if anything strange is happening at the school. I want you to learn about the teachers, especially the headmaster, and then to tell me. Everything. In return I will send you help,I will give you advice in all your classes." This man had been a stranger, she remembered asking him why he wanted to know. He had just said that it was Ministry business. So she had decided to send the information. And why not? She was only good in DADA,not any of the other subjects. So she would send this information. She would investigate the going ons at school and report to him. She wrote down: "Hello Mord. I just arrived here. Things have been going on recently,a ship has appeared in th lake. Headmaster Tate says that it's safe and that we will be going on it sometime this year. I looked at it from the distance and it's nothing special. Also that annoying Iris is way too popular." She hoped Mord would reply soon. She would soon excel. |
Anyone? Any one at all? Nika ran to the owlry with her letter in hand. She was feeling very sorry for poor Rex. Just graduated Hogwarts and already he's heartbroken once more. Well Nika was still her cheerful self, but she couldn't help but feel that it was her fault for not keeping in touch with him. She promised to write letters, but she just never did. Dear Rex, How are you buddy? I'm missing you a lot. I just met your cousin William. He's really nice. But Hogwarts is just not the same without you. Even Mr. Squides is missing you. I'm really sorry for not sending any letters over the holiday. I'm really worried about you Rex. Is everything alright? I heard that something happened between Rene and you. Well I hope you are doing alright. Lots of love, Your Gryffie buddie forever- Nika Adler Her letter was clasped tightly in her hand and she looked around for a friendly school owl to use to send it. She spotted one and tried to call it over but it didn't want to come. "Hi, Mr. Owl. Do you mind sending a letter for me?" Or not... because that's cool too... "I'm such a failure! I can't even figure out how to send an owl!" Hopefully someone who knew how would show up and help her because she won't be able to do this alone. |
Mordred made his way to the Owlery to visit his owl Xchylar and to send a letter to his parents. As soon as he got inside, he heard a flapping sound and he smiled. Xchylar automatically landed on his shoulder as if reading his master's mind that he was to send a letter. "Mum would be proud." he told Xchylar and the owl hooted in reply. Mordred unfolded his letter and re-read it. Dear Mum and Dad, I'm already here in Hogwarts, and I'm enjoying every second of it. We had a feast last night, and the sorting was held. I got in to Slytherin! I know you'll be proud, mum. Classes haven't started yet, but this school is already bustling with energy. I also saw the old ship on the lake, and it was really old. Smells like one too. My friends decided that we should explore it as soon as we're permitted. Anyway, I also have a letter for Dominic. I know how much he misses us and I hope my note to him would cheer him up a bit. Can you please pass it on to him? I love you both! -Mordred Xchylar, as if reading the letter too, hopped down and held his foot perfectly still in front of Mordred, who tied his letter securely to it. Mordred got some pellets and held it out to Xchylar, but refused to eat it. "Fine. Have a safe flight, then." he told the owl, and with that Xchylar flew out of the window. Quote:
Mordred whistled and a barn owl came down and landed on his arm. "Need to send that letter?" Mordred asked the young witch. "You can use this owl." he said pointing at the owl on his arm. |
Simone walked towards the owl Faye had given her. It was a pretty black owl with a few white spots. The owls eyes were a pale grayish color. "Hey baby." She cooed softly allowing the bird to climb up her arm. "Good girl." She rubbed the owls fur while she glanced at the letter. |
Plithsev watched as the owl flew away. She decided that she might as well leave soon and meet some of the teachers. |

Tayla reached the Owlery, her letter and the Chocolate Frog for her little sister wrapped in a small package. "Now how do I find Marigold..." she wondered, looking for her tawny owl. Marigold had visited her in her room this morning, but after Tayla had gone down to the Gryffindor common room, she had left. "Marigold!" she called, staying near the entrance of the tower in case her owl was still outside. In a few seconds, Marigold flew in and landed lightly on Tayla's shoulder. "Hello there," Tayla chuckled, stroking Marigold fondly. The owl flapped her wings again and perched on a branch in front of Tayla. "I need you to send this to Mum and Dad, and to April," Tayla said, tying the package carefully around Marigold's leg. "Be careful okay? I know it's going to be quite a long flight all the way to Vancouver." Tayla took out some pellets from inside her robes and fed Marigold from her hand. Marigold gave her an affectionate nip then left. Tayla grinned as she watched her owl fly. Marigold's distinct golden feather glinted against the sunlight. |

Finally uttering the right words. "You're welcome. I'm Mordred." he said still shocked. |

She smiled as the boy finally spoke. "Nice to meet you Mordred. And really you are such a big help! I would have been here ages if you didn't show up." And that's not even an exaggeration. |

Luna walked to the owlery with a peace of parchment in her hand it was a letter for her mum and dad to tell them about her first day at Hogwarts when she arrived at the owlery she looked for her owl Snowy when she found her she put the letter on her leg and watched her fly away |
Name Buddeh! Anakin carefully carried his letter to his Da, protecting it under the crook of his arm from flying rat pellets and owl droppings. He highly doubted his father would be pleased to recieve THAT part of Hogwarts life. Nope, and Ani wouldn't want to send that. Calling down his elf owl, Took, Anakin offered the bird a owl treat from his pocket, before giving him the letter as well. "Get this home quickly Took, I'll have another one for you soon." Not TOO soon. Ani didn't want to wear him out. |
Ella jogged up the stone steps towards the Owlery. It was getting late and she wanted to send the letters as soon as possible! A mouse was swinging from the right hand, the letters were clutched in her left. When she reached the top, she held up the mouse and started to call softly for the owl. 'Lullah? Where are youuuu!' A high pitched hoot was heard, and in a second Lullah had flown down and landed on Ella's hand. Walking over to the window sill, Ella attached the six letters to the little owl while Lullah ate her mouse. 'Fly safely, little one!' Ella stroked her and stood back as Lullah took off into the night. Ella stood there until the little white owl was out of sight, Sighing, she turned and jogged back down the stone steps, now on her way back to the Common Room. |
