This was a lot noisier than the quiet common room, where he had been reading a book. He had eventually come out of the common room because he had become very hungry. This term had been... Okay. They didn't won the house cup, they didn't win the Quidditch cup and Hugo had the sharp painful feeling that it was because of him. Maybe because he got sick last minute and couldn't play. He always blamed stuff on himself. Standing still, he looked around for Eino at his table. No luck. He should sit with the Gryffindors or with Fee later on. But for now he just took a seat in the corner of the hall and yawned while he leaned his cheek on his right arm and looked at his empty plate. " Hi, how are you?" Willaim asked Hugo. " I am sure glad we became friend" Willaim said to Hugo. " Eating is good for you, so you might want to eat something" William told hugo. "Are you going to hang out with Fee for the summer?" William asked hugo. Quote:

Too awkward.
She walked around a bit, looking for a familiar face. She spotted Hugo, sitting by himself. Was.. was he asleep? Katelynn suppressed a giggle; she was gonna have a little fun..
She sneaked up behind him, and knocked away Hugo's arm, causing his head to drop; she laughed. "I'm so- sorry" she said, trying to stop laughing. "Did I wake you up?" Katelynn sat down beside Hugo, and smiled. "I just kinda wanted to say bye - I'm leaving, you see. So I won't be back next term. I'm kinda walking around saying goodbye to everyone.." she said, and looked around the Great Hall, and then looked back at Hugo. "Anyways!" she said with a smile. "Got plans this summer?" Probably being with Fee she thought to herself, and once again had to suppress grin. " I just wanted to come by and say good-bye to you" Willaim told Katelynn. " I know you will do great in Bulgaria" Willaim said to Katelynn." I want you to have the best life for you" Willaim expalined to Katelynn. Quote:

It was amazing to be here but exam time really killed her everytime. The Sflytherin really didnt want to imagine how OWLS and NEWTS would be.Maybe she would start studying for it at the start of term. That should make it easier, right?! ' You made me a liar" Willaim laughed. " You are at the RavenClaw table" William told Fee."So did you see Hugo?" Willaim asked Fee. " I am so happy for both of you" William said to Fee. "Do I get any glitter?" Willaim asked Fee.

Boys weren't allowing in the girls dormitory, and she didn't see Stephen as the type to frequent the library. "What es zat?" she couldn't help but ask curiously, gesturing to the gadget in his hand. "Ehh, the library, one of the places I don't like going. So are you saying you've been avoiding me?" Stephen inched closer to Aimee and smirked. Well, she must've known that those were some obvious places he wouldn't turn up. Stephen would most likely be anywhere but the library. He always lied and said he was allergic to books. Not many people believed him of course, but those who did, well, they were pretty gullible to fall for such an awful lie like that one.
When Aimee asked about the gadget in his hand, he just shrugged. "Dunno. I took it from Kat the other day and still haven't figured out what it is or does. But it's most likely a joke toy of the sort,"

... yeah, yeah yeah.. Hippogriffs were vicious if not treated well, she got the idea already no need to write a big freakin' book on it!!
But before she'd give the poor thing a wave of her wand sending it flying or burning or whatever, her wish had come true. Quote:

In fact, Lord Borr would like to invite the top earner in each house to the Ministry of Magic for a special tour. Let's give a hand to Kurumi Hollingberry, Sierra Greingoth, Eino Uronen, and Penny Laughgood." Wow. Louisa clapped and looked for Eino to see his reaction- that boy was weird and sometimes freaked her out but he sure was interesting to observe. Unfortunately, her stupid neck went to where Dallin was sitting with his friend, female friend may I point out. She hadn't caught his face though, his head was turned around, so she blushed deeply instead and gave up on seeing the reactions of other students. It was weird, anyway, and she didn't have to be weird to push people she liked away from her THEY WERE ALREADY DOING THAT. Hmph. Quote:

She smiled, rather sadly, and moved her gaze to the students who looked oldest... and saddest. She was never going to see any of them again. Not that she knew or was a friend to any, but the thought was...true. Their head boy, for instance, and this one, and this, this and that girl with pretty face who looked like a queen. Many people leaving. And she was going to be in her fourth year. Fourth.
Sigh. Quote:

PHEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW! No more ugly accented crazy people wandering around the place. Instinctively, she looked at Professor Vee and Madam Donovan. Both looked like... normal and usual. Except maybe for the librarian who was rather annoyed or uneasy. Meh. She had the right to be like that- if Louisa had been seen kissing an older uncool person in front of lots of kids, she'd lock herself up in a dungeon till people forget it.
Poor madam Donovan.
Seen kissing someone else, though, like Professor Descoteaux was another issue. Quote:

"He suggested Mr. Stryker might be interested in taking on that position." BLINK. BLINK.
Dance lessons? Where were they? in Beauxbatons? Louisa felt a chuckle rising up in her throat- amused and mocking the decision. Lord Borr was one heck of a minister! She should ask the students who were to do that tour about him next year. If she had enough space in her mind for Dallin-free topics.
SNAP! She found herself looking at the direction of him and his friend AGAIN. She hadn't seen the girl's face yet and had no idea who she was. Deciding that she was going to act natural and mature, she focused on the feast before her, scooping food into her plate just to occupy herself..
..but never eating any.

Aimée was a little flustered; it showed in her speach, and in the look she gave before drinking again - anything so that she didn't have to look at him. Surely he didn't mean it though? No, she hadn't told anyone that she was avoiding him, least of all Stephen himself.
No, he couldn't know. Unless he'd guess, and then, well... that would be awkward. "Ah, zounds... interesting?" she laughed a little. "You zould give eet back zoon zo, I can not imagine 'er liking you running off wiz her zings." No, the little she knew of Kat told the girl that she didn't seem that way.

They could rely on each other more. He trusted that they would manage through well. Still, he had an odd worry that he couldn't explain.
Laying his head on hers which was on his shoulder now, he murmured "I know we can handle all. What worries me is me. What if I fail?" Up until this moment he had been very self-confident, because there was time to the actual examination. Talking was easy, and he had sneered at other boys at the small trainings he could join. But now that it had come, he was terrified. He had only one chance, Everton, because he didn't want any lower club, and only now he could see those boys were as talented as him. Or so his mind made him think. "I only have 6 NEWTs and I don't know what else to do." How long would the money of his family last? What would his parents do if he failed?
Frowning slightly, he looked down upon hearing her words. Was he really capable of doing anything? He let out another sigh. "I don't know Mina, they are better." He was stupid to have believed in such a stupid idea. Sure, his coaches had spoken very positive of him. They even tried to give money to his family to let him sign for the club but... taking a deep breath, he eyed the food that had just appeared. He didn't really want to eat, but he figured he had to. Going to sleep starving was not a good idea. "Shall we eat?" Because he didn't want to talk about this any more. Mina worried just as much as Evan about what would happen once they did part ways over a week from now, but she wanted him to really know that they would manage. It was just nerves that made them feeling like this and she didn’t want to be ruled by those feelings any more. If she worried too much, she was afraid that she wouldn’t be able to enjoy her time with him. No, she wouldn’t allow herself to not enjoy what they were given and the time they had.
Again, she shook her head and frowned. "You have nothing to worry about," she replied as she kissed his cheek. It was really strange to be seeing her Evan like this. She wasn’t used to this at all. The boy she loved was always so self-confident and she knew that he wasn’t perfect, but seeing him doubt himself made her sad. Giving his hand another squeeze, she looked up at him. "I don’t know any of player out there that shines like you do. You are special and have a talent that no one else has. Maybe there are other players out there that might out shine you now, but I truly believe that in the end, you will be the last one standing." She wasn’t an expert on football, but she knew that Evan had something and made him stand out. Teams had seen it in him too and that was why he was going to live his dream. "You are just letting your worries get the best of you, handsome. This is your dream and this is what you are meant to do. Live your dream out and I’ll be here to watch you do it," she smiled. "Merlin forbid something was to happen, which I highly doubt it will, and you have to do something else; we will handle it the best we can. I’ll still be right beside you, unless by then you have found reason to ditch me for someone younger and prettier," she teased to lighten up the mood slightly.
Looking him straight in the eyes again, she put on her serious face. "I don’t want to hear you say that about yourself again. I hardly think they are better than you are. You have a natural borne talent and that isn’t something that should be taken lightly!" In all the time she had been able to see him train over the past year, she heard things and saw just how great he was. It wasn’t all ego-based, no she truly thought Evan was as talented as his coaches thought. "You need not worry about this anymore, just remember that they want you and you have shown them what you have."
Glancing down at their food, she nodded before turning back to face the table and her full plate before her. They would have to continue this chat later. |

Although she'd been avoiding him, that sentence sparked curiosity in the blonde, and she turned towards him. "Well, yes, I 'ave been avoiding you, if I am 'onest." She breathed out slowly now, and began avoiding his gaze once again. She wasn't going to tell him why righ now; that would mean her admitting it to herself. Which she wasn't really ready to do, at least, she didn't think so. "Do you 'ave any idea?" Surely he must have a starting point, an inclination as to what the little object did? Or maybe the fact that he didn't was the interest, the curiosity that he had for it.

It all seemed like a game of hide and seek, which Aimee was winning by far. "So you have? Why? Did I do anything to you?" "I have tried an unlocking charm, but that didn't work. So maybe I'll keep trying then give it to Kat if all else fails,"
