Squeezing her hand as she held it, the boy looked up into her eyes and sighed. If he prolonged this moment any more, he knew that it would only hurt them, as if it was possible. He was going to apparate to wherever she was, though, after trainings unless he was very fatigued. Even then, he would find a way to see her... no, he wasn't going to just give up on her that easily, just because he was training the life out of him everyday.
Instead of saying 'I'll miss you,' something everyone could see, he said "I'll miss this place, with you in." Because without her, even this adventurous castle was empty. Almost.

Jim just blinked at Lexi, first because of the flower thing and then because he barely had the change to open his mouth to answer her question and she was gone. And of course Neptune had showed up which meant Jimmy wasn't completely focused...
Blink.
He looked at Finn as the guy sat a bit closer and then at Neptune as she provided a bit of insight, eyes darting back to Finn almost immediately.
'I'm sorry. I should've known that our friendship was worth more than any girl.'
Jim's expression tightened. It wasn't even about THAT. THAT whole thing had just been a catalyst.
And Neptune was ignoring him.
And Lexi had left.
And Finn's latest flavour of the month had shown up.
Okay, that wasn't fair on Fallon. She seemed nice enough. James offered one of those small smiles, the distracted kind, his expression hard to read.
He was tempted to get up and leave, but instead.... he stayed. He didn't even move away from Finlay, just sat in thoughtful silence.

He paused, watching Jimmy for his reaction. "I've probably taken advantage of you for our whole lives, depending on you being there. Now that I think about it, you probably lost more than I have. and I'm sorry for that."

Philip sighed deeply. ''Oh how wonderful it would be if I got to come back and teach.. Oh, how wonderful..'' He let himself dream about that eventuality for a moment before looking over at Presley. ''But.. That isn't gonna happen. No matter how bad I want it..'' He shook his head sadly. Philip had always had a notoriously negative self-image for everything from his appearance to his intellect, no matter how people would compliment him, he would have a hard time taking them seriously, and he never thought himself good enough. "They would never let me teach here." He sighed.
"Did you kill someone?" Presley joked. That was the only reason she could imagine for why they would never let Philip teach here. It wasn't as if he was stupid, he was a Ravenclaw for Merlin's sake. So why on this green earth would he not be allowed back?

Being allowed to teach at Hogwarts would be the most amazing honour he could ever receive in his entire life, but he was convinced it could never happen for him.
When he thought of the teachers he had had during the last 6 years of his stay, images of brilliant, talented, skilled and extremely powerful wizards and witches appeared in his mind. When he tried to picture himself among them, his image stood out, as if it didn't belong. ''No, Presley, to teach at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you need to be.. Special.'' So what? You'll learn all of what I've learned and more!'' He reasoned, smiling sweetly at Presley.
''I don't allow myself to be proud of a lot about myself.. But I do believe myself to be a good judge of character, and you Presley.. You are a wonderful, wonderful person. You are incredibly sweet, friendly, helpful and absolutely brilliant!'' Philip allowed himself to rant at Presley. ''And I know you haven't quite yet had a chance to prove yourself yet.. But I have a feeling you're going to do great things. I have a feeling your time here at Hogwarts will unleash your talents. That way you can see how gifted you really are.''

Fallon she smiled as he kissed her cheek. As he reached for her hand, she intertwined her fingers with his. She wasn't going to really say anything. She really didn't know what she should say at a moment like this. She only knew about what had happened with Jimmy...and she never actually had met Jimmy before.
Fallon gave Finn a reassuring smile as he continued to talk to Jimmy. She felt like she wasn't being much help but really: what could she do to change this situation?

I'm trying to make you understand, and it's not really coming across, I don't think. I think you should talk to Vindictus about which NEWTs you need to become a Hogwarts professor, and try for those next year. Then after you graduate, apply to be a professor. And I suggest you have a couple of chat's with Tate next year too, so he know's what you're working toward, and can help you out. Besides, you always want you future employer to like you as a person. And this will show him that you're a good worker, and you'll set a goal and work to achieve it." Presley listed out the steps she would take were she in Philip's position. " Thanks, I am sure going to miss you at HogWarts" Wiliam told Victoria. "See told you that Presley would not talk to me" William said to Victoria. " no matter what I do or how nice I am, I lose friends left and right" William explained to Victoria. " I told you Rose cursed me" Willaim sighed.

Philip smiled happily at Presley. He felt a lot better now that she had talked to him. She had managed to cheer him up, even with a life-shattering issue like the end of his time at Hogwarts, and for Philip, that was quite an achievement. He was now thinking of how much he looked forward to his next year at Hogwarts rather than thinking about how much he dreaded it's ending. All of that emotion glistened in his eyes as he looked at Presley.
"Thank You, Pres." He said, putting emphasis on the word 'You'.

After escaping the whole awkward ordeal with Braeden and Ruby, Emma headed straight for the Ravenclaw table. She needed to get far away from the Gryffindor table. With a confused slash hurt look on her face, she walked towards the Ravvie table and she spotted Alfie and Theo. ALFREDORE! SLYTHERCLAW. Good. Hopefully, they wouldn't mind her hanging out with them. Braeden was just acting... really weird. And so was Ruby. She didn't know anymore, the Malfoy was just too upset. And she wanted to be with her Ravenclaw Slytherclaw friends cause Alfie, Theo, Ellie, and Stella (all Ravvies) were close to her. Very close. They were.. Tight.
"Theo! Alfie! Hey! Can you believe the term's over?" she added with a weak smile, trying to be as cheerful as she usual was, though she was obviously failing at this. The blonde frowned briefly and tried to cover her frown with a smile as she took an open seat close to them. "So how are you guys going?"

They were going through this together after all and it was going to be hard for them both, but they did have a few more days to themselves after they left the castle. Ten days wasn't going to be nearly enough, but they would make due with what they had. They would make it work, because that's what they did.
"I'm a little terrified myself. So you aren't alone," she whispered back softly. Tomorrow was going to be the start of something new to them both and it terrified her to think that maybe something terrible would happen. She wanted to be optimistic about it, but there was a minuscule part of her that worried that this hurdle was one that might be too high for them. Raising her head, she looked at him again. "We are in this together and you know I have faith that nothing will happen that we can't handle together." She wasn't going to let that minuscule part rule her now. No, she had faith in them and really nothing was going to scare her again. She fought for them before and it wouldn't be any different now.
Was she really hearing this? No, she wasn't going to let her Evan think like that! Sitting up completely, she turned to him and reached for his face. Holding his face in her hands, she looked in straight in the eyes and smiled. "Evan Cartwright, I have never known you to not be able to do anything you set your sights on. You can do this and I'm not just saying this because I'm your girlfriend. I believe it to be true and I know you are capable of anything." There were players out there that had talent and she knew it would be a competitive atmosphere, but she knew Evan had a talent that would shine through. If teams didn't see it, it was their loss and maybe that team wasn't for him.

"I wonder what's up over there," she wondered aloud, turning her face back to look at Theo only to realize that their expressions were still only inches apart. Flashing him the most amused of her sheepish grins, Alfie let out a soft, chiming chuckle and pulled back just slightly with the lightest bit of pink on her cheeks. She'd nearly forgotten how close they'd gotten to one another during their conversation! Yes, the blonde was very comfortable with Theo, but she was still Alfie, and that meant that her cheeks went pink and her blue eyes lit up and she laughed sheepishly when they found themselves in such a close proximity. She was a girl with a crush, what else could you expect?

Glancing at Alfie in their close proximity, he pulled away slowly and reluctantly. Emma needed someone to talk to, and apparently Brae and Ruby weren't the ones she wanted to be around anymore. Poor girl. Feeling unhappy wasn't good for anyone during the last day of term. "Let's not say anything for now?" He whispered to Alfie just before Emma came within range of hearing them.
Turning around, he placed a smile on his face and attempted not to notice the distaste in the Malfoy's tone. "Hey, Emm." He mused, not sure of what to say too much. Theo scooted over to allow her room to sit down. "We're... we're good. What about you? Some feast, eh?"

Alfie's features lit up as Emma came over to the Ravenclaw table, obviously happy to see the girl, but her smile fell just slightly as she noticed the small distaste in her expression. Something strange had happened with Brae and Ruby, that was for sure. Blonde eyebrows furrowing, she had just opened her mouth to inquire what was wrong when Theo whispered in her ear, suggesting they not saying anything. Giving a brief nod of agreement, she held back the inquiry that she was about to throw at the Slytherin and simply flashed her a soft, supportive smile instead; Emma didn't look all that happy.
But the blonde Ravvie played along with Emma's false happiness and flashed her a soft smile as she greeted them and expressed her disbelief over term being over. "I know, it went by so quickly..." Alfie muttered softly, her hand still entwined with Theo's beneath the table as she glanced past the boy towards Emma who sat down nearby. "Yeah, we're doing great," she agreed with the boy at her side as Emma asked how they were doing, a warm smile on her expression. Though she agreed with Theo in the idea of not bringing up the Braeby subject, she couldn't help but stare at Emma with rather sympathetic large eyes, unsure of what had happened but positive that it had upset the Slytherin in some way. She was hardly aware she was doing it either, but Alfie's habit came into play once more as she flashed Emma a weak smile and stared with her large saucer-like eyes.

Ellie thought about her home in Ireland which was right on the coast. "It's rockier, with only a little bit of sand. But it's still... breathtaking." She said with a wistful smile. She couldn't wait to go back, and take Dallin with her.

"Can we go there?" Dallin's voice had gone quiet, but he was still smiling. He'd never been to the ocean anywhere besides Florida, and Ellie made Ireland's sound great. Even though he loved sand... there was still the water and that was really the important thing. Plus, he'd love to go there with Ellie, if she was up for it.
He glanced down the table at the third year again as he listened to Ellie. "Weird," he muttered. He thought about waving to her, but would she see him with her nose in a book? What would make her leave like that, anyway? "Maybe she's sad about leaving." That didn't explain 'storming off' after she saw them but... it could be a reason for not wanting to talk? Dal had absolutely no idea.
