Finlay sighed. This wasn't going to work was it? Jimmy was never going to forgive him. It kind of sucked, seeing as he was happy with Fallon now, but had still lost something else.

"I miss talking to you. I could talk to you about anything...." He musesd, just trying to see if Jimmy had any emotion at all. Finn glanced down at his wrist, and pulled his watch off, putting it on the table between. "I figured you'd want that back...." He'd put everything else into a box and get his sister to drop it around at some point.

Really?

Jim eyed the watch on the table and scoffed a bit.

Whodathunk that Finlay Carmicheal could be so clingy and ridiculous? He was acting like a GIRL.

"Just another thing that proves you never knew me at all." Because Jimmy couldn't care less about the damned watch.

He never knoew Jimmy at all. Finlay rolled his eyes, staring at what was probably soon to become his ex-best friend. "I watched you for 16 years..." Finlay began quietly. "You were everything I wanted to be." Everything he still wanted to be really.

The seventh year sighed. He was going to have to do something big wasn't he. Would Jimmy ignore him if he stood on the bench, and like apologised to him infront of the whole of the school? Because he'd do it.

He'd think about it for a few seconds, for now he'd say something else. "Spike wants your autograph by the way. I gave him a picture of us all from training last year."

"Hey don't look at me, you're the Head boy, and future Quidditch star, with money and a string of girlfriends who think you can't do any wrong." Sarcasm. A bit.

If Jim was wearing that watch he'd be looking at it repeatedly just to show he was bored of this already.

Shrug.

"Alright. Spike oughta know I won't mind." Even if the Quidditch stuff still.... kinda hurt.

Okay. Finlay didn't really know what to say to that. "You know you were always better at quidditch than I was." He only bloody tried out because of James. Finn sighed. He would have to get up, and make a fool of himself. It was the only way.

Glancing around, Finlay stood up, before getting on the bench. Woaah. Everyone could like see him now. The headboy looked down at his friend. Either Jimmy was going to hate him for doing this, or like...forgive him.

"Hey Everyone. Listen for a minute. Last summer I did something really bad. I ended up losing my best friend, Someone who had been there for me, and I was never there for him. I sucked, pretty much like I do all the time. But I just want him to forgive me now. To let me start being a better friend. Because I just want to prove to him that I am worth something. That he means more to me than I ever thought he would. I love him...." Yeah. And he was pretty embarrassed now.

Right. So Finlay just up and left as soon as James entered the room. He totally ditched her. She wasn't pleased at all. Even though she wanted to talk to her boyfriend, she got up from the table, flipped her hair over her shoulder and walked to the Hufflepuff table.

"I know." Jim agreed nonchalantly. Yeah, star seeker here, that's right.

... hopefully he'd still have that golden touch if he ever got the all clear again. Head injuries sucked.

Hang on, what was Finn up to? Jimmy watched warily as Finlay got up on the bench.

It was hard to focus on the errors in the message because the end of the whole thing was flippin' HILARIOUS. Jim was silent for a good few seconds in shock and then he cracked up laughing, there were even tears in his eyes from laughing, and he pounded the table with his fist. It wasn't the mean kind of laughter, there was no cruelty in it, Jim genuinely found the humour in the situation.

Hooo boy.

Finn was trying to be all sentimental, and nice, and get his best friend back. And Jimmy. Was. Laughing. At. him.

"....you find it funny?" Finn asked, looking sad. It hadn't worked had it? Finn glanced around. Woah. Lots of people were watching. Finn kind of felt embarrassed now, his cheeks reddening a little. It was one thing for Jimmy to laugh at him, but to know the whole school had seen it too. That was horrible.

Finn didn't move from where he was, just staring at Jimmy. "I thought you might've cooled down a bit...thats why I left it so long. I just want another chance J, to prove that I've changed..."

He wiped his eyes but couldn't stop laughing completely.

"Don't be such a girl, you'd bloody laugh too if you saw yourself." He so would. He'd laugh if it were anyone ELSE standing up there and being so ridiculous.

Yeah next time Jim had to face a Boggart, he'd turn it into THIS. Hahaha.

He straightened up a bit and shook his head.

"Its not about cooling down. You still don't get it do you?" And Finn had to figure it out himself, Jim was done explaining.

He shrugged one shoulder.

Jim and Finn. Man... that was brilliant. Really. It had also lightened Lexi's mood just a tad. JUST A TAD. With a big grin on her face she made her way over to the Ravenclaw table and pulled out her wand. Hehehe.

Pointing it at Finn she cast a color changing charm at his robes... to make them more of a white dress Given he didn't jump out of the way... Which he might since it was Lexi wielding a wand. Heh.

And then conjured him some pretty pretty flowers. "Are you going to propose next? That was a really moving speech, Finlay. Really." She. Couldn't. Take. It. Anymore.

Plopping into the seat next to Jim she doubled over laughing as she held the flowers out to Finlay. Here darling, take the flowers...

"Yeah..." Finlay agreed, glancing around, and sitting down, a bit closer to Jimmy this time. "I feel stupid." Because it hadn't even worked. Although he couldn't help but feel that this felt like how it was before. Before he was a idiot.

"It isn't?" Finn asked, looking sincere for a moment. He really wanted to get it. Get what it was, so that maybe they could be friends again. "I messed up..." That was pretty clear. "I just wish we could move on..." If only he could get it. But Jimmy knew that he was pretty much stupid. He'd probably never get it.

"I'm sorry. I should've known that our friendship was worth more than any girl."

Finlay looked up as his robes suddenly changed to a white colour. What on earth. Oh. Lexi. This was not the time for silly stuff. He was trying to be serious. He didn't really know if it was worth it though. Man. This really sucked. He just decided not to respond to the things Lexi was saying. He just wanted to sort things with Jimmy. "Lex....please." He eyed his gryffindor friend. Seriously? Couldn't she leave them too it?

... huh? What? She was sure that the book she'd picked didn't include Dallin's name in it O__o Oh! Right. It was inside her HEAD! She wanted to give the boy a nasty glare... but she didn't. Everything bad or sad, she'd felt for him was locked inside and couldn't get out. Reason was unknown.

However, she let another sigh, and as frowny as ever, she looked up and glanced at the staff table to see whether the headmaster was on his feet already or not. She might feign sick and just leave.

Vashti's face was looking at her, though, Louisa couldn't be happier to see someone who'd accept her grumpiness and go with it. She waved at her friend and couldn't manage even a small smile. Instead, she felt her eyes prickling with tears.. because again, seeing her best friend made her want to shout the reason her chest hurt so much, maybe Vashti would tell her why or what to do..?

The logic told Louisa to stand up and join the girl. Whoever was around with her talking. But her legs wouldn't budge. She even felt her eyes go dry so soon but the lump was still there. Maybe she'd tell her late at night, their beds were close anyway and Vashti was smart enough to sense there was something wrong with Louisa. Well, she already had but this wrong was different.

Going back to her book and just before she focused, someone -their Head Boy- spoke loudly. Releading a sigh of relief she figured that the headmaster was about to give his speech AT LAAST! Phew! She turned her head to listen..

.. aaaand wanted to throw the closest thing at the boy. Not that what he'd said was annoying or stupid but because he'd destroyed her hope of leaving so early. She glanced around him trying to see where that 'friend' was. Maybe that smug-like boy nearby? Whatever. "You should've waited till they served drinks so we could toast for that. But yeah..egood call.. and..err.. congrats..I guess," she had no idea how people react to such stuff. But yeah, she was happy to occupy herself with something other than her own issues for... ten seconds.

" I just came by to say hi to you" William told Louisa. " What are you going to do for the summer?" Willaim asked Louisa.

Neptune followed Lexi over from Gryffindor table... and met this whole SCENE with the pursed lips, hands on hips, unhappy Bott face. "Lexi." LEXI. Neptune retrieved her wand and changed Finn's robe back for him. It was hard enough to apologize to Jim without interference.

She moved in to sit by Finny and nudged him. HE hadn't TOLD her he was planning to GET ON A TABLE and apologize to Jim. In front of everyone.

Neptune didn't really give Jim her attention, but just pat pat patted at Finny. "I think it's less about the apologizing at this point, Finny. Maybe actions are bigger than words."

Ugh. Whatever. It was funny. Finlay had just made a fool of himself and it was FUNNY. He could eyeball Lexi like that all he bloody wanted to and it wouldn't change the fact.

And now Miss Bott was there INTERFERING with her interfering. "Really. If he didn't want anyone saying things... he ought not to have made such a public display." Seriously. Lexi turned her nose up at Tuney and Finlay and scooted closer to JIM.

"Jim... you want me to go get Rufus so you can tell him goodbye?" Which was code for: You can tell the monkey goodbye, but not me. I won't accept anymore goodbyes.

Fallon had picked the most awkward time to go visit her boyfriend at the Ravenclaw table. She felt bad for him making that public apology...and having it shut down. She watched as a couple of people went over and talked to him. Fallon went to turn around to just go back to the Slytherin table, but just decided to go on with it.

"Hey Finn." Fallon smiled and took a seat next to him. She wasn't going to say anything else...mainly because she didn't know what to say.

Presley's eyes widened as she watched Finn LOUDLY apologize to Jimmy. What in the crap was he doing? But Presley felt bad as she listened to the exchange. Here he was trying to say sorry, and get his friend back, and Jimmy wasn't listening. Or maybe Finlay wasn't listening? She didn't really understand the situation. But people were laughing at them. Rude. Presley turned and glared at the laughers. Not only was this situation not thier business, they had no right to make fun of something that appeared to be a serious problem between the two boys. She offered the both of them a small smile, and turned back to her own business.

Philip looked up at Presley, his sad look slowly fading away into a very faint smile when he saw who it was. His mood seemed a tiny bit better, at least now that someone seemed so cheery. At least he wasn't bringing anybody down. That was good. He gave Presley a little wave and mumbled a quiet greeting to her.

Philip looked to his side at Audrey. ''Hello.'' He tried to smile at her too. He felt a little better now that Presley had at least shown some interest in talking to him and this Audrey person had greeted him, which was something that never happened - People talking to Philip just because they wanted to, that is.

" Hoe come you are so nice to me?" Wiliam asked Presley. " I have tried to talk to anyone in Gryffindor and I have beeen totally ignored" William said to Presley. ' Am I really that bad of a person?" William asked Presley. ' I think I am nice and try to get along with a lot of boys and girls" William told Presley.
" I think I will just immerese myself in schoolwork and homework forever at HogWarts" William explained to Presley. "Good idea, right?" William asked Presley.

Victoria had finished packing and then decided to go down to her last feast, she walked into the great hall and went to sit at the Ravenclaw table but she saw her cousin.

" Hi Victoria" William smiled. " you are a site for sore eyes and hurt feelings" William said to Victoria." So are you happy you are graduating cousin?" William asked Victoria " I bet all your wedding plans are finalized" William explained to Victoria. Hr hugged Victoria.

Really the fun had just gone straight out the window...

Neptune was chiding her, Finn was being... well he was being himself. Whatever. She felt like it was time to move along. Her fun had been had. And she was still pretty bummed.

Not waiting for Jim to answer or telling anyone bye she got up and started heading toward the Hufflepuff table. Perhaps she could find Treyen or something...

"Hey William, I am sad that I am leaving but I am happy because I am going to marry Jason in a few days!" Victoria told her cousin as she hugged him back.

" I will miss you here" Wiliam told Victoria. " Of coourse, I will see you at family gatherings" William said to Victoria." You and Jason makw a great couple" William smiled. " I will have to teach Amelai the ropes this nex term at HogWarts" William explained to Victoria.

"I am going to miss it here too and I know that you will look after Amelia" Victoria told her cousin and then said "Thank you, how are you and Witsy?"
